Everyone seemed to have such interesting reactions about everything. It made Syn a little bit... Well, he didn't have a word for it, but he was sure the emotion wasn't necessarily bad. With a small snort at the wordplay, he vanishes in flames along with the rest.

Amethyst watched in silent anger at being hushed by AirMan. Still, it was nice not getting sweaty and bruised up. She caused her clones to dissapate and watched in silence as AirMan dealt with Neptune. Keeping her eyes locked on the fishman, she never spoke a word again, until he left. When she saw the others, save Iscon, leave, she turned to him, nodded in his direction with a hard face, and muttered, "Maybe now we can get to Pluto." She then morphed into a bat and started her long flight back.

A dark, deep, booming voice filled the air.
"Residents of Earth's Net. This is to inform you that as of today, you have a new world power. I am Lord Samhain of the Dark Dimension, and since I've gotten your attention, I'm going to explain a few things to you."
"My dimension is a glorious place where evil and darkness rule, demons run free through nightmarish streets, and all that I say is law. But I've always longed for more - and luckily for me, centuries ago I discovered an incredible power. Once a year, during the most unholy of seasons, I have the ability to enter the Net Worlds of other dimensions for a certain amount of time. Soon I discovered I could bring a small scouting army with me, and no one would stand in our way. Within five years, my glorious rule had extended to five interdimensional colonies. I assume you can see where this is going."
"I have captured your dimension's kingdom of Creamland and made it my colony, changing it to suit my preferences. Those silly ONB enforcers are gone. The populace and former rulers of Creamland are imprisoned. And my scouting army has overrun the island. Truly, it is a sight to behold."
"On Halloween at midnight, I will be returned to my own world - sucked through a mighty interdimensional portal. But that portal's immense surge of power will seal my curse and make what you called Creamland my 666th colony - forever. In my absence, the mighty general Nightwind shall rule as governor - and I can assure you that any foreign hostility will be swiftly and brutally dealt with."
"But a colony is useless without subjects to rule. As such, this message is an invitation - those with darkness in their hearts, sin in their souls, and murder on their minds will find a perfect home here. Come to me, my subjects, and you shall live a life of eternal evil as you have always wished. The former Creamland natives will make excellent victims, of course. And if you serve me well... there may be certain rewards in store."
"Should you hear this message and wish to play the hero, heed this warning: I have been conquering lands far better-guarded than this one for lifetimes, and never have I been defeated. To wander into my colonies without iniquitous intentions is to forfeit your life, your freedom, and your very soul."
"This is my season. This is my plan. And your world is the lucky target of my latest Autumnal Assault."
As the voice faded, a portal opened - on the other side, the hellish, twisted landscape of what used to be Pride Park.

[bgcolor=black]Far into the range, beyond the area deemed "safe", an avalanche-in-waiting dislodges itself from a cliff face and tumbles into the ravine below. The soft, steady fwumping of the snow rumbling against snow makes no echo here, and is heard by no ear. Above, a hole in the mountain gouts flame high into the sky: Something is broken. The ground quakes, and then is quiet, but the motions now rolling across the range cause a chain reaction of avalanches not seen in years. It's a good thing people plan to do a little clean-up.

A green spark popped upon the newly moved powder that had just made its way from the higher mountain ranges. Looking down at the snow below his feet, Li accelerated the time in his general area, melting some of the snow instantly into air. He melted just enough to get into the mine that contained the next thing he wanted, a Paragon. He ventured deeper into the mine where what he needed would be abundant.
What he was going to make would be too big to be called a Paragon, but the materials to make them were abundantly available here. Tons and tons of Carbon. Using his new "Moveable" anti-gravity machine he set up a large square using four of the generators which were connected to a spiked platform, which were all tugged into the ground since the center. With the push of a button the copy of Samhain's portal was opened between the machine and the ground and soon enough a large square section of the carbon rich area was pulled in with the anti gravity machine and through the portal, going to wheresoever it was supposed to go. Li then tossed a ball of gold and silver energy into the portal and it closed up and compressed like it was before. The anti-gravity machine then exploded in a series of green sparks and was non-existant besides the scorch marks on the ground. He stared over into the seemingly bottomless square pit he created.
I wonder what's down there...

Ruin's rather foolish teleportation technique opened up just above the hole in the mountain, oddly close to Li's position but much higher up. As gravity began to take hold on Ruin, he began to realize his situation. A difficult situation indeed. Brandishing a Darkchip in midair, Ruin fused it with another, Forming his hand into a massive Drill that he plunged into the mountain, drilling down into the mountain until he reached an air pocket. What he thought was to be where he wanted to go, he instead found himself falling once more, no earth to slow his decent with his drill. The darkchip's power vanishing, Ruin fell further into the shaft Li had made shortly before. While one pondered what to be down below, the other fell below.

[bgcolor=black]@ Li: The first of the hole-makers briefly sees a light at the bottom of his pit, but following the sound of an overlarge drill and a magnificent CRASH, it's obscured.
@ruin[/color]: The Elbrus range is already at an extreme height, and so the destination of such a pit as he crashed into would be... very deep. The second of the hole-makers (the maker of the less whole hole) falls for half an eternity.
As he cascades against the walls uncontrollably, a light far below approaches... too fast! It grows and grows and grows and then Ruin all but explodes out of the pit into a vast cavern almost ten times deeper than it is wide. As he flies past, he might see a number of terminals set up against the cavern face with cables and catwalks that extend partway over what is now a vast gap as though to reach for something that is no longer there, but if he does see them it's only briefly. The cavern floor approaches without regard to such details, although it looks like the ruins of some expansive, smoldering, sundered-from-within machine might be able to cushion his fall. Judging by the square indent directly below, it already stopped something. [/color]

It was a good thing Ruin was built for combat, or such a crash would have probably deleted him. That and his darksoul taking quite a bit of the fall helped a lot. Getting up from his impact point, he looked about once more. Looking up to try and see the catwalks he saw before, but to no avail. Too far down to see much anything above, let alone get back up very easily. Ruin looked at the... thing he had landed on as he gets up and examines it from other angles. He makes a point to survey his other surroundings as well. One question in particular crosses his mind though.
How far down am I? Maybe this is whats below the underground.

[bgcolor=black]The "thing" is large, a very faded blue, and appears to be a round-cornered cube set atop what were once massive poles, the ruins of which lie scattered around along with the remains of the catwalk as well as varied sizes of chains and cables that protrude from the top of the machine. Underneath, there's a broken satellite dish with locations for the nearby poles to connect to. A massive hole is in the side of the engine body which still smokes and sounds as though it's attempting to move. Next to the hole, a monitor flickers with the message "STATUS CRITICAL. CONTAINMENT CRIPPLED. INTERFACE DISABLED".

Whatever caused the hole likely caused it recently, though Ruin's falling on it couldn't have helped much. Not sure how to deal with this kind of thing very well, Ruin examined the hole more closely. He at least knew that tampering with the machine from the screen would prove useless with the interface disabled. Perhaps investigating the internals of the machine could provide some kind of idea as to its use. Whatever its use, the chains, cables, and poles lain strewn about clearly indicated that it was raised up at one point, and it was clear that Ruin's fall was not what brought it down. Someone... or something was here before.

Li pondered if he should go down since he DID see something. He did however take a quick step back when he saw Ruin fall from above to below. Li, not being one to let someone get at something he uncovered first, he lept off into the void he created below and landed quickly but softly due to his well placed temporal abilities.
I found it first.

Ruin looked back behind him to see the puppeteer standing behind him. He caught a glimpse of him earlier but didn't expect him to follow down. Ruin didn't see why it made a difference who found it first though.
Turning back to the machine, Ruin continued to examine it while talking to Li.
"That may be, but who was following whom down this shaft? I hardly see who found it to matter in the situation. But if it makes you feel better. Yes, yes you did."

So you followed me to Sharo, but since you're so bad at sneaking around you fell in not one, but two holes. Stalker.
Li rolled his eyes and looked at the blue the blue cube and then onward to the engine block and then to the rest of the room.
I bet this place doesn't exist...officially.

Gentlemen, I'm afraid that you're both wrong.
*From slightly deeper in the cave, the voice of a Navi resounds, combined with the sound of heavy, metallic footsteps. Moments later, a rather unimpressive, though obviously strong, Navi walks up with a cart full of data, which he parks near the unknown object*
Iscon: If anyone found it "first", it was me.
*Strapping his large pickaxe to his back, Iscon walks up to the center of the area and looks at both Navis, followed by the large sky-light that had been created by Li... right where his home used to be *
Iscon: .....oh, come on. I'm a blasted hermit! Why do you people have to come and destroy my home when I'm clear out here not bothering anyone!!!!

Li crossed his arms and gave Iscon a look before pointing upward.
The one all the way up there wasn't my doing. I would prefer to make polygon entrances and exits. Besides, if you live down here you can use the fresh air. It's dark and what not here.
His eyes investigated the rest of the room before he went over to the monitor.
Since you live here, you can explain what caused the hole up there, this error message and the damage to that...engine thing?
He pointed to damaged engine and leaned against the monitor, his fingers roaming for any buttons to press. Just to see what would happen.
