Only a glimpse, a glimpse was all that was needed, Valkryie was struck hard by debris, and tumbled down, landing right next to the dog navi... She payed no mind to him, for he was a coward, hiding behind a rock for his own safety, she was out there fighting...
"Fido, just dig a hole or something, maybe you'll be more use there."
She said angrily, before snatching onto the spider with a Riphook...
"HERE COMES MAMA!"
She shouted, as soon as her hook deployed into something hard, she began to retract it, using it as a grappling and rappelling hook to fling herself at the spider, a claw already waiting...

Whyspider (*grumbles about escape routes*)
BoB's rage filled blast(Yes.. Give into your hatred) struck home on the Bospider as it fell. While not strong enough to penetrate him it began spin it from the force. Spreading the laser love all over the beast rotisserie style and flinging its compartment open. Allowing Bob's blast to strike the ruby core while the beast perhaps began to flicker a familiar fashion.
Valkyries hook struck its mark. However the spider was still under the effects of BoB's attack and spinning rapidly. The hook pulling her to the boss much faster than she likely wanted and once it would be retracted no more the bloodthirsty harlequin was trapped in its rapid merry-go-round.
The time for aerial combat was short lived however. As after several seconds more debris began trickling the ground. Small and ignorable at first, but after a short time the chunks become larger than average navis. Bombs too strike the ground, detonating on impact all over the arena. The chaos engulfing the floor only got worse with the crash of the spinning Bospider, who upon hitting ground detonates as well. Shattering the darkness in orange light and evaporating all around it navi and debris alike. The blasts damage is somewhat enclosed by Golems massive form, preventing the entire cavern from collapsing onto the battle. This act is the only redeeming factor to Golems blunder while everything beneath, up to, and including him, is toasted.
<Bastet.exe DELETED> <Valkyire.exe DELETED> <BoB.exe DELETED> <Golem.exe DELETED>
After some time the smoke clears, drone parts, ice rubble, and various junk parts litter the pit floor. Oddly the Bospiders corpse remains. Though its ruby core illuminates no more and the perpetual blackness being pierced by the occasional spark from a drone. Downpour, the coward, either through sheer luck or foresight to hide survives the ordeal.
MISSION: COMPLETE! Ya did it guys! Ya beasted the beast and only lost almost everyone in the process. That was some awkward teamwork but it worked. Now, rewards!

Downpour came out of hiding, looking around to see the aftermath of the destruction, realizing he was one of the only ones left standing...
"I lived... HOLY CRAP! I LI-"
Before the hound could finish, a large, unseemly gargantuan boulder smashed his body, deleting him in a humiliating fashion... A slight "Augh!" was released from the boulder before another one, three times as large, crashed onto him, further squashing him in a hilarious manner.

A flash of grey, and Mirror appeared among the snow and mountains. Looking around at the sheer vastness of the place, he felt so small. A pleasant feeling, that reminder. How small they all were. How they complicated everything. Being here, this was calm. Here, he was content.
He hadn't been here since the fight he so uncharacteristically was deleted in so early. Still, he had been here previous times as well. He once sparred with Warrior and Merrill here. Those two who might be his closest friends. He hadn't seen them in some time, far, far too long. The cold whipping at him, Mirror worked his way into one of the many caves nearby and began to wander. No goal in mind, he needed a quiet place to clear his mind.
With so much going on in the world, both worlds. He once led a faction with Merrill and Warrior. They sought to protect those who were unable to protect themselves. Unaffiliated with ideology or politics or any one of the plethora of things that often divided people, it had been a good time.
What had the world come to? What had they forgotten? Would they be able to remember? It might be a dream, but to create a world where everyone understood one another, or at least agreed to disagree but go no further, to not use differences as cause for war, for distress, that was what he longed for.
He continues wandering the tunnels, trying to push all thoughts out of his mind.

Receiving the email from Phenoix, Mirror reads it and then opens the map. Appearing as a window floating in front of him, he looks it over and realizes he's not too far away. Closing the map with a tap in the corner, he heads off towards his destination.

Phenoix simply awaited Mirror outside the cave in question, a solemn look on his face. He had long since determined the fate of Iscon, and after some looking around his abode, he had only solidified his thoughts on the matter. Phenoix wondered if Mirror was familiar with the whole story, but no matter, he would likely explain it anyway.

Approaching Phenoix, Mirror signals hello with a slight wave of his hand.
"Hope I didn't take too long. This is Iscon's cave, huh? Where is he?"
Waiting for Phenoix's response, Mirror stands by waiting patiently.

Phenoix simply turns at Mirror's arrival, "Come." he said, moving into the cave. The soft glow of his body lighting the way in, though the lights within overwhelming it as he entered the main area, just beyond a corner which lead deeper into the mountain. He pulled a chair out for MirrorMan, turned on the stove and started making tea in Iscon's abode. The same tea he and Genesis had some time ago, though it its properties had likely long since deteriorated. He infused some of his own properties in it as the tea brewed. It wasn't the same, it couldn't be, but it was in spirit.
No one else was here however, Iscon nowhere to be seen.

Following Phenoix inside, Mirror sits at the chair pulled out for him. Realizing something was amiss, he sits, watching as Phenoix brews tea.
A lump grew in his throat, for Phenoix to be taking him here, Iscon nowhere to be seen... On one hand, Phenoix wasn't one to ramble on, but on the other, Mirror couldn't recall a time his feathered associate had been of so few words.
And so he sat and waited.

As the tea finished brewing, Phenoix brought two cups to the table, pouring tea into each as he sat opposite to Mirror at the table. His one hand cupped the tea, though his eyes were downtrodden, as if searching for the right words. Supposedly, something simple would suffice, but it was not appropriate for an old friend. He deserved the truth outright. Phenoix let out a deep sigh and looked MirrorMan sternly in the eyes.
"Mirror... Iscon is Dead."

The words echoed in his head, over and over. He hadn't known Iscon for long, or even particularly well for that matter, but the miner navi had left a mark on MirrorMan, and to learn of his death was without a doubt shocking...
Struggling to find words in response, a whole string of them run through Mirror's mind. However, in the end he only utters two.
"How?.. When?"

"Not long before the Rise of Elysium."
Phenoix took a sip of his tea, he couldn't feel anything from it, it was his own healing energies that he was so well accustomed to. However Mirror would likely feel it, even without wounds it would wash a warm feeling over the navi. It was different than Iscon's, which boosted stamina. Placing the cup down again, Phenoix rose from his seat and paced around the room idly, looking at various things about it.
"Mirror... How much do you remember... Of Eon? Its been almost a decade now I think since we fought him and his vassals. One stood out, if you remember. Once his master fell, and Forte revealed himself, taking Eon's power, he stood against him with us. Do you remember that Navi? His name was Turbine."

Taking a sip of his own tea as he listened, Mirror felt a calming warmth wash over him as he sipped. It was a delicious tea if he had ever tasted one.
Hearing mention of Eon, his heart sank. What terrible times those were... As bad as things might be now... Mirror stopped himself midway through that thought, preferring to avoid it.
Nodding in response to Phenoix's question, he answers.
"I do remember him. Met with him a few times, he was quite powerful. I'm not sure he was aware of just how much of a mark he left, but as young as I was back then, as impressionable as I was, he left quite a mark on me. I've never seen anyone quite like him, nor since. He just had that air about him, you know? Similar to Iscon's, in a way. Though Iscon seemed much more... contemplative."
Taking another sip of the tea provided by his host-of-sorts, he waits for Phenoix's response.

"Perhaps that was because they were one in the same."
Phenoix produced a journal from his data stores. Placing it on the table, it was leather bound and looked to be of human parchment, a much more complex program than a simple document that most Navis used. A certain power radiated from it, Phenoix knew this as the same power that Iscon... that Turbine wielded. The navi with seemingly infinite power at his disposal, and the years had not been good to him.
"Turbine seemed to be mostly done with all the fighting following Eon's fall, he changed his name to an anagram of his title, Scion. Went about a simple life here and tried to stay out of trouble as much as possible. Though it seemed to me like it often followed him regardless."
Phenoix turned to look at the Journal, eyeing it with the same solemn expression he had on since he first saw mirror here.
"The Journal before you I found here, I wasn't sure about Iscon's connection with Turbine before I found it, but it certainly cleared any questions I had about the two being the same or not. However the data within is heavily encrypted, I'm still working on deciphering myself."
Sitting down once again, Phenoix took another sip of his tea, with another sigh leaving his lips.
"Whatever is held within it I feel will be a great asset to those of us that participated in that battle so long ago, as well as the musings of an old friend. He must have left it here before going to fight Toxin... He went down fighting, just as he had been all this time it would seem.
I understand this is quite a lot to take in all at once. It took me quite some time to come to terms with it myself... Though as you might guess, I'm still looking to see where his final wishes lie. Navis do not pass on very often, unlike how the humans do. A death, a permanent one, is very rare. So at the very least I want to be sure he rests peacefully. Still... I do wonder. Why was he fighting Toxin, of all people. Sure he was trouble... But what could he be doing that required such a sacrifice..."
