*An emergency warning window suddenly pops up before every Navi in the area, revealing Terra with a messagec.*
Terra: Good evening. For those of you who don't recognize me, my name is Terra and I am the current leader of the ONB.
As I'm sure everyone knows, tragedy has befallen Creamland. The network is no longer a common network, but rather something that has been taken over by unknown invaders. I have spoken with the Creamland Royal Family and have discovered that the change is somehow permanent. However, they have also revealed their plans to run their backup data on a new digital server, meaning the former Creamland will be returning to operation soon.
However, this is not the reason that I am addressing you today It seems that the change in Creamland has spawned some form of monster that now threatens our very way of life. While we are searching for a way to defeat this creature using every resource that we have available, we need more input from you, the people of the net. As such, I am opening up the ranks of the ONB to the people of the world and am creating the ONB Grand Counsel.
The counsel members will not be appointed, as the previous one was. Rather it will be voted on by the Navis of this world; each Navi voting for the representative from his or her country. We will recognize seats from Creamland, Netopia, Netfrica, Gigamerica, Sharo, and Electopia. The role of the elected individuals will be to give voice to individual countries in order to help defeat this being and govern more fairly our world.
Everyone will be allowed to run for this office within a set of specific guidelines. The campaign will begin soon, but I ask that you all remember what is at stake, and put that first.
More information on this act will come soon.
*With that, the window disappears*

Warrior grinned at Iscon's encouraging words and listened intently to his response.
" The other navis came... looking for it?"
So they already knew it was there? Or perhaps they knew of something irregular in the mountains, but weren't sure of what it was until they discovered the data an it's container.
Regardless, if both artifacts were taken and there was nothing left in the mountain, then going to the scene probably wouldn't accomplish much other than killing sometime.
" ... Did you recognize any of the nav--"
Warrior's question was cut off by Terra's global announcement -- somebody he was quite shocked to see again after what had happened during the Autumnal Assault.
" If he's back.... and the rest of the Stardroids..."
-- Then the license system would probably become a hassle to deal with again, just as it was before they left. But Terra did say that everyone would be allowed to run for the office. That must've included unlicensed navis.
Warrior wasn't much of a politic, but this could get him moving in the right direction to help the world take down its new threat and assist him in putting an end to the license system. It was killing to birds with one stone -- but a risky, nigh hopeless attempt in reality. Joining the ONB wasn't exactly one of his ambitions, anyway.
But if that's what it took...
" Hmm... I suppose I should continue searching, even though the ONB is starting to take strong action."
The window closed as Warrior gave his attention back to Iscon. The search in Sharo was almost over, but he'd probably remain true to his word -- proceed with gathering information on the new creature while keeping an eye on the ONB's progress.
" I'm assuming you don't know where that group went, after they left, right? ... Did you atleast get any of their names, so that I can have something to track them down with?"[/b]
Questions needed answers, and the group Iscon mentioned probably had the most, at the moment.

*Iscon largely ignores the announcement, looking past it to Warrior with a roll of the eyes...*
Iscon: It seems endless...
*Iscon then laughs, as he always seems to, and continues*
Iscon: I'm not sure if that's what they were looking for, but they seemed very interested in it. when they got here. I didn't catch their names, I'm afraid. However, I... highly doubt.... that they still have the data. Or at least the data they think they have.

Warrior tightened his jaw at the fact that he was left with no leads, and virtually back where he began. He paused for a second at Iscon's last comment.
" The data they think they have?"
... Did they have a copy of the 'real' data? A counterfeit? A fradulent? Or perhaps no data at all -- just an empty file. what did Iscon mean by that? But more importantly --
" ... How much do you know about that 'data' they took? And why wouldn't they have it anymore?"
They could have passed it on to somebody else already -- or accessed it, if it was that kind of data. Or it could have been taken from them by force (and somehow Iscon would have known about it)... Alot of questions opened up, along with potential answers. Maybe Warrior wasn't put back into the dark after all.

*Iscon leans against his pick-axe and smiles under the bulky scarf that covers the lower half of his face*
Iscon: It's funny.... the fact that I'm a hermit and an old miner up in the mountains seems to make people think I'm too dumb to realize what's happening... neither one of them suspected a thing....
*Iscon reaches into his steel-lined coat and silently pulls out a glowing green piece of data encased in an energy field to keep it from deteriorating in the elements*
Iscon: ....as a data-miner, I know more about data like this than most Navis could pick up in a full college course. I knew that this thing was special, so I made a dummy version of it and planted it, knowing someone would come looking. While they reveled in their supeority, they never expected that I had the real thing the entire time.
*Iscon then laughs once again, returning the data to his coat to keep it safe*
Iscon: Not bad for some old mountain-man, hmm?

Warrior felt a surge of satisfaction course his body as hope had returned to his previously bleak quest. He gained a whole new respect for Iscon, at that moment, as his face brightened up to a radiant smirk that it had been void of for quite some time.
" Not bad? ... Not bad at all!"
Sharo was the right place to check after all. Warrior was sort of honored that Iscon trusted him with this secret, but he took into consideration that this may have been a dummy as well. Not likely, but every option must be weighed. Quite frankly, Warrior didn't really intend on keeping the data anyway, he was more focused on--
" Soo... Have you figured out what it does yet? Or anything about it?"
Surely as a data-miner, Iscon knew how to access, analyze, or even trace the source of mysterious data like this -- it was better off in his hands anyway. Warrior was here to learn about it, not take it. He trusted that Iscon would continue helping him move in the right direction, from this point.
There were certainly no regrets in asking for help, after all.

*Leaning on his pick-axe again, Iscon looks to the sky*
Iscon: All I've been able to gather is that it has some form of suppressant property. Beyond that it's still a mystery.

Warrior remained silent and turned his gaze to the horizon to think deeply for a moment, before responding. There may have been other mysterious pieces of data out there on the net just like this one, still waiting to be discovered -- but until they were discovered, this thing may as well have been one of a kind. At the moment, it was the closest thing they had to being a "key item" in learning more about the monster that attacked Creamland.
There was no guarantee yet (from Warrior's perspective) that the artifact and the creature were connected, but they both held the same mysterious aura and really, this was the only thing remotely connected to that monster in the world, at this point.
After taking everything into consideration for a moment, Warrior gave his attention back to Iscon -- his smirk was replaced with a contemplative expression.
" That data is yours, and I don't plan on taking it. But with you're permission, I'd like to learn more about it, perhaps even with you're assistance."
Warrior glanced to the part of Iscon's coat where the data had been placed, then back to Iscon to maintain eye-contact.
" I'm sure you've already weighed the pros and cons about this thing, and you already know that by expanding our knowledge of what it is, what it can do, and where it came from benefits both me and you -- and potentially the world."
" If we learn that it has some connection with the events in Creamland, then we can take initiative to finding a way to regain control of the situation. But in the worst case scenario, if this is just a totally random, unrelated artifact to those events, then you could still sell it for a pretty penny."
It almost sounded like he was trying to "talk Iscon into" letting him study it, but that wasn't necessarily the case. Warrior was just thinking out loud again.
" If you were to allow me to study it, I would need you're help. You know more about this data -- and more about data in general -- than I do, and I honestly wouldn't know where to start searching for information about this thing."
Wow... the "help" word was alot easier to say that time. In the midst of all this, Warrior felt as though he'd developed a new, less prideful attitude that would certainly benefit him later on in life.
" ... Is there anybody you know that could access it safely, or atleast trace where it came from?"
He was a data-miner. Warrior had to assume he had some sorts of useful sources that this could be referred to -- otherwise, where did all the data get sold that Iscon mined?
This entire idea rested on Iscon granting him permission to study his valuable item, which Warrior respected and made sure to demonstrate that he clearly understood whose ownership that item had belonged to.

Just then, as Warrior was doing whatever he thought was important, a he thought about it the attack that shall not be named, or even known about. Yet somehow he knew. A voice called out from the deepest reaches of his mind, echoing into the area loud enough Iscon and could even hear it. It was low, cruel, and spoke with a lot of quickly lipped whispers... It also sounded like there was more than one, who knew what they were talking about? When one rose up among the rest, dominant and forceful.
YOU WHO HAVE THOUGHT OF THAT WHICH SHALL NOT BE KNOWN! SHALL BE PUNISHED!!!
Just as the voice finished speaking a Dominerd of no unusual appearance appeared from the shadows and bit Warrior's legs off, swallowing them in one big gulp! Still not finished the foolish navi virus dove back at him from the waist up, not even biting Warrior, he just swallowed him up. The only thing Warrior could even say before the devilish virus snapped its mouth shut was 'Why! Why was I such a fool!?'.
...then the virus disappeared, leaving no remains of Warrior except a bloody puddle on Iscons floor/snow.

*It all happened so fast.... so.... randomly. Iscon can do nothing but take a step back as the dominerd obliterates Warrior in front of him, leaving him standing there wide-eyed and wondering what on the net just happened....*

From the darkness a being appeared to spawn, in a matter almost as if it separated from a unified body into a new existence, a separate entity that stood autonomous. As it left the comforting solace of the shadows, it appeared to be from a distance at least similar looking to the being that had just left L'Internet du Soir. Perhaps it was too, as it was holding up a cup similar to one from a café that gave off the sweet fragrance of something warm, something refreshing.
Yet interestingly enough, this entity seemed to have little interest in approaching the other Navis in the area, much preferring to keep to itself, standing towards a cliffside of the Elbrus Range and gazing out upon the vicinity, as if taking in the scenery, the atmosphere as a whole even. He said nothing, simply staring out towards the outside mountain range, almost as if a ghost attempting—and failing, to relive its past.
That said, the being still gave off a strange, ghastly aura. It was a faint and weak—one that would not be easily noticed by someone unless they made a genuine effort of their own to detect. Something was off about that solemn figure, though whether or not he was an immediate threat remained a separate question in of itself. Still, anything that emanated a feeling of sorrow, a feeling of hopeless and loss, was perhaps something best avoided.

*....really? At what point did an inhospitable mountain in the middle of a frozen tundra become a common vacation spot? At this point the entire thing was getting annoying, and was enough to get to Iscon.... he had work to do. The ice-Navi makes no attempts to hide himself, rather he remains silent and watches the unknown Navi from a fair distance*

Rikaru had been quietly minding his own business tapping away idly at his main console, when suddenly Terra's announcement was plastered on his monitor. After a slight reflex jump, he listened to what he had to say, always one to try to keep tabs on the happenings even if he WAS against the whole license crap.
After the message ended, he remained sitting there, rubbing his chin in thought. He didn't particularly desire to get involved in politics...but maybe he could get the desert network back online if he did...
Shaking his head he put those thoughts aside, he had other matters to worry about. Namely what that...THING was...but before he could think to much on the matter, his monitor beeped and a pop up appeared with a notice.
WARNING. ABNORMAL ENERGY SIGNATURE NEARBY
A video screen showed up that showed Warrior and Iscon talking. It had no audio, and he didn't really care to much, he recalled who he was instantly, having fought with him against the titan, well warrior just kinda stood there...but what ever. It was unlikely he was the problem, or would cause him problems.
Suddenly though, he watched as a dominerd virus suddenly appeared from some strange warp in the net, and quite literally devoured Warrior. It was a...disturbing sight, to say the least... Apparently Warrior hadn't been eating his Wheaties. And as sudden as the attack came, the virus vanished. No trace of its existence other then the crimson snow where Warrior once stood.
"What in bloody..." he muttered to him self. As if things weren't weird enough lately, now there was a navi eating dominerd out there too. Bleh. He turned his attention back to his previous task, scanning for abnormal energy signatures. He wanted to at least try to help keep the titan from doing more damage, even if it was at his expense.
As he began the scan again, it informed him of the strange navi present here in the peaks of the mountains. It was faint at best, and definitely wasn't like what the titan had gave off, he almost brushed it off and let it be. But curiosity got the best of him. Leaving his computer to keep scanning for anything that might be traceable to the titan, he decided to investigate this presence in person.
Emerging from his cave/lairs entrance once again, he pulled his scarf up over his face again, and began to make his way farther up the path, noting Iscon was still there, and staring where he was headed.
Rikaru continued to make his way up, closer to the strange entity. He noted it had a strange presence, a feeling not unlike a sort of depression seemed to emanate from it. Shrugging the feeling aside he continued until he was standing near the edge a fee feet to the side of the being.
He stood there silent for a few moments, trying to think how to approach this thing in conversation...if it could even... He stared out over the wonderful view from where they stood, finally speaking, hoping it would be more pleasurable then the Titan experience.
"....You are...different.". he began, noting the obvious. But he wasn't sure how he wanted to proceed. Finally he continued. "What brings you here?"

Mountains were nice. So was snow. ...Or so the figure thought to himself. Perhaps not everyone agreed with him on that. Perhaps he was outright insane. In his head, all that mattered was the fact that it was cold and without too many people. It gave him time to think. It gave him the basic ability to hear himself think. That said, it was imperfect, people still existed, but at least for the most part there were few and they-
RIKARU: "....You are...different."
A voice. Someone was talking. Someone was addressing him. Like shattering glass, his thoughts of the mountains and just attempting to take in the atmosphere broke abruptly. Just now did the figure appear to realize the presence of the person nearby him. The voice from nearby him spoke again.
RIKARU: "What brings you here?"
Who was this? What did they want? No... what did they want of him? Was this some security agent meant to dispose of intruders? Was it one of those "Official" Navis? Almost like a security system engaging itself, the figure mentally felt his mind lock itself down, in preparation for anything 1984-esque where it might be someone attempting to harvest information from his thoughts.
Gathering his thoughts together, he prepared to speak. It was time to break that awkward silence. Somewhere from underneath that mess of hair a slightly low voice could be heard, not so much like a growl, but like some character who was somewhat mentally unstable to begin with. Still, his voice was firm, as if at one point it had belonged to someone with a name. He answered back.
UNKNOWN: "...Nothing."
No, he was nameless. He deserved no name. He could only pretend that he had one.
