*AirMan released a sigh as the others left the area, his fan shutting down entirely as he relaxes once again*
AirMan: Annoying pests, they are.
*AirMan then turned back to Xion... noone else in the area seemed half as interesting, and somehow this Navi felt like a kindred spirit, so he was the most natural Navi to get some information from*
AirMan: It's been some time since last I walked this world. Pray-tell, what objects of interest are there in this day and age?

"They wouldn't be as annoying if they could do something with themselves sometime."
*The bright side was that now it was down to who it was he wanted to talk to. He could talk with the others some other time if he felt like it and they were up for discussion. Maybe when they could fend for themselves a tad bit more after all. It was something that needed to be common these days. Not only those on the dark would just ambush now: the desperate navis running from the laws, those claiming it in the right, those other crazies who were closet crazies instead of open crazies too.*
"Well, depends I guess on your last day and age. The last crisis was with Eon and Forte, but that was adverted. Now we got this license thing going on where it's hit the point where we usually have to register or die by the ONB. They just finished switching up their team roster since the last ones weren't doing the job effectively enough I suppose. They blame the whole Time-Space Nightmare issue on us instead of the people who messed up when they made it and rather than try to keep things peaceful, want to put us on some sort of leash. It makes for some fun ways to do things, but I must admit that they should really learn the lesson of 'Live and let live'. Most of this place's leaders have all vanished too, so unless others start stepping up, it'll be like a repeat of what happened when the KoR and their leader was missing all over the place. That would be funny yet probably way chaotic at the same time."
*It was an interesting thought to see most of the world running around like headless chickens. But it wasn't exactly what his thoughts were when it came to handling the world at large. It was almost fun when you would do stuff and expect to see those guys from the light to come and throw blows along with you. Instead though, he couldn't expect that as much since even they had vanished during all of these laws and order business. It was dark days when he couldn't expect a fight every time something happened, almost enough to make him consider working proactively with someone to help out....almost.*
"Guess it does help in weeding out the strong though. Most of them are easier to find, others just made themselves harder to find."

*AirMan thinks to himself in silence before speaking again, reviewing the facts as they stand in silence*
AirMan: An interesting time, indeed. Perhaps a good time to turn a profit as well, given the proper business venture.... so in this entire fiasco, what role do you and your friends play?

"We're the ones aiming to prosper in it as best as possible in the most chaotic way as possible. I've been pretty off of the radar with my friends so to speak, and the present ONB in general will probably be having some difficulties of their own soon. I'm not saying they don't have strong forces, I just have a gut feeling that they might be....'underestimating' some of the variables here and then. So far they're focused on handling the Revolution before they rally again, so I guess it is time we do something too."
*Let's see...he was pretty certain that the loosed hound was out and about by this point honestly. He likely had already started into the business of getting things set into motion. Which was good of course, it made it easier for them. That left them with that big guy who was traveling around, but so long as they could preoccupy him, which might have been done already actually, then it would be fine too. He didn't want to fight the guy unless they didn't have much of a choice, given a few things.*
"They've laid off all of their forces too for their own personal reasons so we may as well see how much damage we can cause before we get scouted out. The bank doesn't sound like that bad of a start as a test for that either. What side we end up on doesn't particularly matter so long as a certain someone doesn't get overly rowdy as per usual lately. Though I will admit that for once, it has been a long time since I've been curious on what types of enemies we got now. After all, it's been getting hard to get a good fight lately, if you haven't noticed from earlier. And life is just wrong when even the fights start to become dull."

*Most of what Xion had to say didn't much appeal to AirMan, the chaotic nature of his goals didn't meld very well with his own desires.... however, mention of a bank.... this was something of some promise. Maybe there was some common ground afterall*
AirMan: Ho-HO.... so tell me, what remains by way of the less savory groups of the net? Perhaps someone willing to aid a few prospecting individuals seeking to obtain someone else's fortunes?
*As Xion and AirMan speak, an email arrives for the darkloid, presenting itself without his even accessing it*
To: Xion.EXE From: Subject: Job
I have a job that would be greaty aided by the unique skills of yourself and your cohorts. The job involves the destruction of a few key individuals, along with the potential for much colateral damage. Should you choose to accept, I will grant you the sum of 10,000z and an additional 8,000z for each of your associates up-front. I am currently waiting on the northern border of Com Square, and will be here for the next ten minutes. If you want the job, then meet me here.

*A lot of those guys who used to roam around and blow things up willingly vanished once things got really crazy. Which sucked actually, but he did still have a few of them in mind that he wouldn't have to haggle with. The one plan would probably take too long and who knew if it would be effective either, so he could call it off and have him come back. Then there was...a message. That worked too. It opened on its own though and had an anonymous sender...but that sort of added to him wanting to do the job more.*
"Well, looks like we do have others who like to give and give. A job that involves my specialties at that even. He's offering 10,000z and an additional 8,000 for each of the others to show up. No clue who sent it and it could be a trap, but hey, money is money and destroying key individuals and potential collateral damage is for the freaking win man. Amethyst, Syn, shape up or your share goes to the ones there. You'll get in on it too if you come of course. The northern border of Com Square."
*The darkness pooled beneath Xion while he spoke to the stormy navi and sent the message to Ruin. The guy would show of course, late or otherwise likely given who knew what he got into when he ran off like that. Late was fine in terms of destroying things, but probably not so much in the ways of getting paid. He was pretty certain that destroying just for the sake of it didn't appease to him, but getting paid a hefty sum to destroy would probably be different for the navi of the wind too while Xion engulfed in an orb of darkness. Two red eyes formed on it before a smile formed too, the orb collapsing in on itself as he made his way for his next job. This would be pretty interesting...*

Amethyst had remained relatively silent during the conversation betwixt Xion and AirMan, but when Xion's job offer came, her eyes lit up at the sound of money. She wasn't addicted to zenny per se, but hey, we all need a little fortune every now and then. "Count me in," she said plainly to Xion. She morphed into her purple bat form and flew at high speeds to Com Square.

*As the darkloid group took off, the prospect of money piqued AirMan's interest, and the naming of the meeting point gave the wind Navi even more to go by. Chaotic member or not, money is money, and perhaps there would be a use for him in this job regardless.... afterall, colateral damage is something that hurricane-force winds bring naturally*

Syn had been strangely standing still for the past time. It seemed like now though, he was back to moving, still having heard the news. ...Well, it should be fine if he was a little late, right? The scythe-user vanishes in a burst of dark fire.

A dark, deep, booming voice filled the air.
"Residents of Earth's Net. This is to inform you that as of today, you have a new world power. I am Lord Samhain of the Dark Dimension, and since I've gotten your attention, I'm going to explain a few things to you."
"My dimension is a glorious place where evil and darkness rule, demons run free through nightmarish streets, and all that I say is law. But I've always longed for more - and luckily for me, centuries ago I discovered an incredible power. Once a year, during the most unholy of seasons, I have the ability to enter the Net Worlds of other dimensions for a certain amount of time. Soon I discovered I could bring a small scouting army with me, and no one would stand in our way. Within five years, my glorious rule had extended to five interdimensional colonies. I assume you can see where this is going."
"I have captured your dimension's kingdom of Creamland and made it my colony, changing it to suit my preferences. Those silly ONB enforcers are gone. The populace and former rulers of Creamland are imprisoned. And my scouting army has overrun the island. Truly, it is a sight to behold."
"On Halloween at midnight, I will be returned to my own world - sucked through a mighty interdimensional portal. But that portal's immense surge of power will seal my curse and make what you called Creamland my 666th colony - forever. In my absence, the mighty general Nightwind shall rule as governor - and I can assure you that any foreign hostility will be swiftly and brutally dealt with."
"But a colony is useless without subjects to rule. As such, this message is an invitation - those with darkness in their hearts, sin in their souls, and murder on their minds will find a perfect home here. Come to me, my subjects, and you shall live a life of eternal evil as you have always wished. The former Creamland natives will make excellent victims, of course. And if you serve me well... there may be certain rewards in store."
"Should you hear this message and wish to play the hero, heed this warning: I have been conquering lands far better-guarded than this one for lifetimes, and never have I been defeated. To wander into my colonies without iniquitous intentions is to forfeit your life, your freedom, and your very soul."
"This is my season. This is my plan. And your world is the lucky target of my latest Autumnal Assault."
As the voice faded, a portal opened - on the other side, the hellish, twisted landscape of what used to be Pride Park.

Merrill beamed into the area, landing on the beach. Healer jumped down, and Merill took of his white cloak, and Healer laid on it and relaxed.
Merrill however, limped down to the water, and as soon as he was more than chest deep, fell forward, calapsing into the water, then rolled over, and laid on his back. He waited paitenly as the waves washed over him, healing him and invigorating him slowly, as he thought to himself about so many things.

Mirror beams onto the beach and sits down in the sand, leaning against a palm tree. Such a peaceful place. He couldn't allow himself to get wrapped up in it for too long, there were things that had to be done. But he and his traveling party, Merrill, Healer, Phoebe, and this newcomer, Riely, if nothing else earned at least a short rest after their experiences in the Forest Network.
He notices Merrill laying in the water, and leans his head back against the tree, allowing himself to be unburdened for a short while.

Static was walking down the beach, having left to think about something Corrosion had said that left him a little uncomfortable and slightly angry.
"Set your goals to be impossible. Hmph."
He looked to his left and saw Merrill collapse into the water. Static let out an exasperated sigh. Another navi trying to drown itself? Hmph.

Ribbons of golden brilliance appeared and in a moment's notice Phoebe appeared before a glorious scene, that was breathtaking in beauty and peaceful in it's purity.
The setting sphere of ultimate light created liquid gold agains the normally sapphire ocean, so clean and pure. The waves, of intense strength, were roaring, yet welcomed with open arms as they landed against the creamy soft sand creeping upward. A light breeze caressing Phoebe's hair and it felt that all was right in the world, if only for a moment. The water licked her bare feet (she decided to take off her shoes), and a feeling of absolute serenity and peace swept over her, something she was grateful for. A short vacation perhaps, but a vacation nevertheless, and she would savor it for as long as she could.
Phoebe examined Merrill and could not help but let a soft giggle escape her lips. It was so funny what he was doing, and although he was healing himself, it what humorous how he was doing it. She could not resist the opportunity and splash Merrill in the face, as another giggle left her lips and a delighted smile graced her features.
As the magnificent scene overwhelmed her with joy, Phoebe saw a sturdy tree with solid, stable branches nearby. Phoebe walked over, taking her sweet time and climbed a few branches, and sat on a particular the provided a perfect view of all the beauty that was laid out before her. Admiring the beauty from afar, Phoebe fell into a tranquil sleep as an array of colors coated the skies above with a spectacular sight. Phoebe's last thoughts were turned to the safer and protection of them during the night...that they would sleep in peace...she also thanked her dear and close friends silently...for being so kind and caring to her and doing all that they could to keep her alive.....she just prayed....in gratitude and desperation....

Finally after a short while, Merrill moved. He sloly grabbed his flute, ad lited it to his lips. He started playing his flute, each note a beautiful ring, he played, lost in thoughts, weather waiting for somthing, or somon, was uncertain. He just played, as he thought.
His body glowed slihtl he played, healing powrs in full force, his body already repairing most of the damage from the previous fights. His wings and the staff collected the sunlight rays as he did so.
