Nu frowned…
She remembered this guy. It was this saw-wielding idiot that she seen before. The group of NetNavis she seen were not just a “snack” that she would usually vie for: they were indigestion…but mostly by association. She was not familiar with the gargantuan NetNavi as well as the female NetNavi that accompanied them. If anything, given she knew Edge’s personality and his preference for not having enough sense to fear anyone or anything, she was not surprised. It was strange, but also disgusting that some of these NetNavi’s mimicked the human emotion to not be smart enough to know terror!
Regardless, stamping her feet into the war, making the goo run rampant in the Aquarium, she was wondering what in the world was an illogical nut was doing wondering around the internet playing buddy-buddy with a bunch of NetNavis.
Why was this important? Because Edge knew Nu’s weakness more than anyone: she could not stand the illogical! It only made her hunger more!
His very presence was detesting because of his random mood swings and his lack of focus to throw that power in a general direction! She only grew more angry as she stamped towards him one splash after another as she would step on a nearby Shrimpy virus that was without water, making it erode from her very touch, and then continuing to stamp towards them with a sadistic grin and a white clear gaze in her eye that was monstrous if no one knew how annoyed she was!
Only to learn…
W-was…was he serious? He was trying to help a NetNavi find her human puppy?!
Nu looked to Edge, flicking her fingers in a very dismissive manner. She could have eaten him…well, she could have tried knowing goodness gracious that was a harder task than it seemed since he would only resist and she lacked the strength to deal with him. His sporadic movements and mad mind made him unpredictable to even bother trying to fight him because she got only more annoyed! A built warrior-like NetNavi with overconfidence and no brains was easier to devour than him, so she flicked her fingers with the flower-like irises returning to her eyes. With a disgusted twist of her wrist, she clearly communicated one question to the random NetNavi: “Why bother?!”

"I see, that should be enough for. Sir Crush, did you receive all of that?"
"Loud and clear, Uni, but you know my lack of stamina. It will take me awhile to check out around here."
Uni turns back to Guardian.
"We will do what we can at the least."
Uni didnt show it, but his awareness of the glob spiked once it arrived by them, but then shifted into curiosity as it stomped away in anger.

While he doesn't show it externally, Edge beams inside at the obvious annoyance towards him that the jolly pink giant shows. It makes him feel like all of his hard work and tireless efforts had not been in vain. Truth be told Edge really does not want to try and take on Nu; things that won't just stay cut in half had always been far too much of a pain to deal with, and Nu's liquid form had made it seem like he was trying to cut the blasted ocean in half in the past. Nu's choice to not bother to attempt to devour Edge just made the day feel so much be-ohhey, it's the knight girl again!
In that instant it's almost as if the towering slime-girl was long gone as Edge waves to Guardian with a smile.
Edge: Hey, how's it going, easy target? Fancy meeting you again so soon!
Edge then glances up to Nu and motions to Guardian with a point of his thumb and a nod of his head. He figured that she'd gather the answer to her wordless inquiry with this statement:
Edge: Just left her and a couple of others in Forrest Network. She was pretty weak and probably won't put up much of a fight, so....
Edge smiles and takes a step back, turning one of the soaked benches that normally face the aquarium towards the group of Navis before Nu. With a smile he sits down on the bench and crosses his legs contently; he'd get to see a Navi get pwn'd today after all!
Unity's eyes widen as he sees Nu's now gargantuan form moving towards them. Though he'd never met the slime girl, he could feel the bug radiation and glitches pouring from her gelatinous body. This was bad to say the least.
Unity: ...miss, we need to get you out of here now!
In-and-of himself, Unity was 100% incapable of fighting, much less a beast of this magnitude. A tactical retreat was pretty much the only viable answer to a situation like this.

Feeling odd at the back of her virtual neck she tightened her right hand instinctively. Looking around she first saw the worried expression on the face of Unity as she began to draw conclusions as she came to realize that Unity might not have much in the lines of combat abilities. As thought settled back into her for more than a nanosecond she began to realize the problem with a entering a net that is a tourist attraction, all sorts of Navis are present. Slowly looking around she soon laid eyes on the pink blob as her expression under her visor was perplexed as she was unable to determine what she was looking at, a Navi, virus, or collection of bugfrags. As Unity was being fearful, Guardian stepped between the two as she felt no fear, only annoyance at her netOp being called a dog. Looking straight at the approaching individual she stood tall and proud, crossing her arms putting on a brave face.
"Excuse me, if you have a problem with me looking for my estranged partner, then you don't have to stay, its a big net."
Drawing her blades unfolding her arms, she stood her ground asvsge briefly looked back to Unity.
"I've been running, fighting, and enduring countless struggles and I'm not running from this, morally it's in the wrong and I have nothing to prove, I'm not afraid. Even if its difficult for a blade centered Navi to fight blobs, my netOp won't approve me abandoning you. Which by the way, would happen, kinda got long legs and too many evasion protocols. "
Turning back to face the pink clump of data, she steadied her blades at her sides as she prepared for it to move.
" So, what you gonna do? "

She could take all three of the NetNavis, use bugs to sew them together…
No, wait…she could arrange their faces on their body and make eye balls come from…
Too easy! Maybe she can make a three-face, five armed, seven toed NetNavi with…
Nu opened her eyes wide as she looked to the several NetNavis at once. The female NetNavi said something about a dog and the other had said something about running away from her? She did not know. She was busy counting some things on her finger that was going through her head, but she swept her hand before her face in a dismissive manner as if to tell them not to mind her.
Nu grinned! It was what those flesh bags of blood and bone would call “rich.” After all, not a lot of them knew fear after all, but then again, why would they fear her? She was nothing but their future: the collection of everything that existed on what they called the internet. Hence what they all would be born from, they would all return to, and Nu expressed that innocently with her grin as she pointed to her chest. Staring to Unity questioning as if he really should be afraid of her.
He was amused, now seeing the female NetNavi armed and Unity trying to vie for her to escape.
She shrugged hearing Guardian’s question. She did not ask for a fight. She simply wanted the NetNavi to leave and find her puppy elsewhere. She even lifted her right hand as she posed with a single digit of her index finger held to the face of Guardian, prompting her to halt her hostility. If she wanted her puppy so bad, Nu would help her find it…it was the “moral” thing to do, as that little girl would say after all. She wagged her finger side to side, and then…pointing…
Nu had seemed to be gesturing her finger to a part of the aquarium tank that use to be what was an exhibit. There was glass there before, but what was left seemed to be jagged and pieces left behind due to the pink liquid from the NetNavi seeping into the tank. The tank seemed to be already contaminated with the colored liquid that was spilling into the exhibit, making it illegible to read the display, and definitely too deep in order to see what was within the waters. The pink blob had gazed on to what was the display and then to Guardian. She gestured to the tank once more, expecting her to look at it.
Nu had walked over to the bench where Edge had sat. Her body shrunk to a considerable size, a good three feet, until she turned into a child-like form of herself. Her rabbit-like ears stuck up from her mushy top of her head that resembled hair and she jumped upon the bench looking at the trio of NetNavis. She had coveted the maw of her mouth with her hands, chuckling.

With a deadpan expression, Edge sits unmoving with legs still crossed and hands still folded behind his head. He blinks several times as Nu sits down next to him, and eventually slides his eyes over to the slime-girl with a disappointed stare.
Edge: ...you did that just to get me, didn't you?
Unity blinks a few times, looking somewhere between relieved and disappointed. He lets out a sigh and closes his eyes before looking up; still somewhat on-guard around Nu.
Unity: t-thank you, miss.
...no point in expounding now.

As the blob pulled away and turned itself into a new form Guardian retracted her blades, crossing her arms once again. As she looked to where she was directed silently for a brief moment before returning to face Unity.
"See, nothing to worry about, she's no where near as scary as the Guardian virus."
Pointing towards the broken tank, she tried to guess what sort of purpose that was, symbolism, hidden secrets, data stream. But all she saw was an abandoned attraction, hollowed memories in a data form. Puzzled, she found no connection to that place.
"Unity, what's that broken tank over their?"

Nu did not respond to Edge, not immediately. She was too busy snickering.
She had instead held up her index finger to him and then afterwards leapt over the bench and went to the concession stand as she left a path of splashes in her wake. She was giddy about going to the nearby stand for some reason, and even her excitement was foreboding for some reason. The liquid that rushed into the open exhibit had kept pouring in as the pink mixture became more abundant, even more so than usual as it seemed to respond to Nu’s shrunk size.
But then it had became apparent: her reduced size, the corroding exhibit, and not to mention as she turned around with the most ominous of items that signified what was about to occur as she held a bucket that read one line:“Aqua Net Pop Corn: It’s Showtime!”
…show time indeed.
There was an explosion from the waters of the exhibit sending out the contaminated water and traces of the pink gelatin goo that came out in lobs. As Unity observed, it was wadded with some traces of Bug Data radiating from its pieces and not to mention the corroding texture that was augmenting the very reality of the Aqua Net Lobby. It caused holes and rifts that left nothing but zeroes and ones in its wake, and then from the depths of the exploding oasis came out a massive pointed white barb that pointed ten feet to the ceiling. With a snap of her fingers, Nu had demonstrated just how far she had hacked the Aqua Net by spreading the contaminated water everywhere as a catchy toon continued to play over the speaker system of the Net area:
The barbed creature emerged from the depths of the pink liquid crashing into the terrain. It’s flippers had been as massive as wings seeming to allow to come from slamming into the crater of the Lobby and floating right into the sky. The creature’s horn swept downward pointing menacingly to Unity, Guardian, and that other big guy who was a fewmere feet away from being castrated. The beast let out a painful bellow as its pink eyes was opened and coursing with threads of red. His body glowing with bulbs of pink along its body, and its chest opaque revealing a blue nucleus at its center.
It seemed to be a mutated baby whale at the expense of the blob girl.
With a laugh, the giant Narwhal, twice the size of even the largest NetNavi in the room had dashed through the air slightly above the terrain as it stormed forth. It’s horn guiding the way as brute force aimed to run through the NetNavis supplying ravaging cutting damage as well as brute force that would destroy anything in its path until it hit the wall. Its cry painful as its mutation seemed to cause it misery, and its power undeniable as the very same source of agony made it like a rampaging beast.
Nu, on the other hand, stood back at her place on the bench, gesturing the popcorn bucket to Edge with a wide smile on her face.

Edge keeps the same dead-pan stare through most of it, with only his eyes widening as the sea-Jedi of mammoth size appears. He keeps his eyes glued to the scene in suspense as it makes a massive, sweeping attack with its horn. Nothing at all changes in Edge through the scene, even as Nu sits back down and offers a share of Popcorn.
Finally, after all of this, Edge reaches down and pats Nu on her head, finally cracking a smile as he does so.
Edge: ...I'm adopting you, k?
....at this moment a tear falls from Edge's cheek. The randomness, shock, and chaos that Nu's deformed creation had just wrought on the scene was just too beautiful for words.
Unity: ...OH MY GOD IT'S A NARWHAL!
.....save possibly those words.
Unity, still unable to battle autonomously, takes full damage from the blow. He's sent flying by the gargantuan creature and lands outside the building on the pavement... where he's swept away by the tide of pink water moments after. He rides the rip-tide on his back for some time before finally washing up onto the bank of a nearby retention wall. As the waters recede and the narwhal continues on its random rampage, Unity just lays there staring at the sky, wondering to himself....
Unity: ....I feel like this day got a bit odd at some point.

On the list of things Guardian expected to happen, a pink narwhal was far from it as even the Guardian virus was a stronger possibility. Watching the pink fluids start to flood she took the time to face palm while Unity exclaimed the obvious. At this point all she could feel was annoyance, for all the crap she's been through, a narwhal was starting to make her think she's crazy. As the fluid came towards her she stepped back on her left foot as she drew her blade, preparing to slice the water in attempt to disperse its effect. but as she was starting to slash the gem on top of her visor illuminated for a brief moment before her blade retracted and a blue base formed over her wrist as a tall, thin, light blue blade soon extended in a moment.
"Air blade?!"
Surprised, Guardian still carried through the motions as she slashed through the pink fluid knocking it back as a gust of wind surrounded it, however at seeing just how far the narwhal was in proportion to her she jumped back towards Unity, riding the waves as she ended kneeling in front of him, holding him up in her left arm while pointing her right arm's blade towards the narwhal defensively.
"Yeah, this day was weird for me as well, but on the bright side, I received a battle chip, you know what that means, my netOp is dead when I find her, she came all the way to seaside. You got a safe place to go if I leave?"

Unity takes the hand-up, but then stands on his own and begins to float in place with his arms crossed. He'd have to consider his next move carefully. However, first he'd have to see if Nu continued her assault beyond this rather... odd... show.
Unity: There are many networks connected to this one, but that's about the best that I can offer.
Unity keeps his eyes locked on Nu and the narwhal, keeping one hand palm-forward as he does so. If things escalate, he'd have to act fast...

"Hm.. It appears Crush has gotten himself lost. He has somehow found his way to Element City."
Uni let out a short sigh, though it is hard to notice when he keeps his mouth covered.
"I should make my way over then. If either of you should need any assistance, feel free to contact myself or the rest of my family."
With that, Uni projected a small, almost business card like object with email information to Uni's PET. He gave one final wave as he headed over to meet up with his NetOP.

An adoption was not going to work for her today. World domination stuff. Maybe tomorrow?
Nu seemed to be pressing her right index to her chin as she thought about Edge’s question…or at least seemed to. She was being very nonchalant about the conversation, the giant rampaging Narwhal, and not to mention the tons of net damage she would have to fix later. She was only fixated at the moment on what was considered the world’s best popcorn on the net as she looked at the bucket and then tossed it before her on the floor. A sigh escaping her breath as she seemed to look up to see Unity giving her a look at the moment.
She waved…but then went back to her own devices.
One NetNavi had left, two remained, and she had no snacks. The combination seemed to be looking grim for her. She would have to deal with the remaining NetNavis first as she wanted to keep her plan on track and leave before that shop closed in Electopia that served cheap coffee and sticky buns. Her Net Operator would have to pay her bill when they both met to discuss the plan further. Aqua Net would be hers in time, but the only question was would she make it to get today’s special buns for sale.
She had to act quickly!
Nu had looked at the two remaining NetNavis with a glaze expression. Her right hand came up and a snap of her fingers echoed throughout the net area. The Narwhal seemed to wince and tense up in pain as the center of its chest had begun to glow. Her eyes had shown a sadistic expression as the massive mutated whale had let out a cry of its voice and a smoldering stream of smoke came from the pointed barb from its face. It started to hat and glow a hot red color, but then burst into a bright flash of constant pink that made a cybernetic sound as it cut the air while it swung its head left to right.
It was apparent then…she had turned the Narwhal’s horn into a Beam Sw-…Light Sab-…you know what? It was a Laser weapon attached to a Narwhal. It was all they had to know!
With a swing of her hand, the Narwhal had felt pain as the manipulated cells in its body were at the mercy of Nu’s own cellular make up of bugs and glitch data. The beast had swung its barbed beam left to right as it begun to cut everything around it in sight leaving a melted cut mark, falling debris, and not to mention that a swiping at Unity and Guardian’s bodys as it would most likely sever them into two finely charred pieces of data.
Demolition work had never been so complicated to need to reach the point of attaching a beam sword to a whale and playing a catchy lewd tune, but it was all necessary right now.

...well, so much for keeping this secret for any longer. With the ____________ from the Narwhal's tusk now extended and poised to cleave both he and Guardian in two, Unity falls back to his only viable tactic, and the only way for both to survive...
...is if only one is there.
With speed that Guardian likely would not expect, Unity dashes to her, reaches out a hand, and....
Guardian finds herself in a new place entirely. The entire area is pitch-black, with no details or boundaries. The area has no light, yet she can see her own form as clear as day... with no shadows at all. At this moment, it's nearly impossible to tell if she's floating, standing, moving, or still. Directions are meaningless, motion is meaningless, senses are meaningless.
Until a single voice breaks the void;
...allow me to properly introduce myself, Guardian.
With a flash, Unity now floats before Guardian with his arms crossed and a far more in-control and serious expression than before. The small boy was gone, and in his place is now a tactician with a plan.
Unity: My name is Unity.OS. As the suffix hints towards, I am not actually a Navi.
Uunity's eyes flash and the scene largely returns to normal, except the motion of the Narwhal appears to be at a tiny fraction of its actual speed, to the point where it would take a full hour for its strike to reach its targets.
Unity: I am an entire operating system currently running on the net as you know it via proxy. Because I lack the sheer level of data running at any given time. my processing speed is many, many times faster than what you're used to...
At this moment, a light begins to overtake Guardian, reflecting off of her dark armor with an uncharacteristic light.
Unity: ...and you're now running on that operating system
With those words, Guardian finds herself changed. Her armor is now bright, glowing gold with blue details. Around her is the same orb and ring that orbits Unity, and the backs of her hands now garner a set of spikes. To add to this, the knight Navi now finds herself feeling stronger and faster, with her very thinking now far clearer and quicker than it had ever been in the past.
Unity: While you're on my OS, you have full access to all of the power that I do. You are faster, you are stronger, you are more durable. This should provide you with enough power to fight that thing, or at least survive long enough to escape. What you do with the time that you're running on this system is now entirely up to you.
Unity then turns to the Narwhal, motioning to it.
Unity: ...but whatever you wish to do, you had better choose it soon.
With those words, the effects of the time-slow begin to end, and Unity himself seems to disappear. However, Guardian would have the innate knowledge that she is not alone; she is now literally running on the Unity OS, and has the power to make her choice now.

As Guardian had that brief glimpse of her netOp and an exchange of dialogue, she regained her faith and determination as she remembered the individual in her arm. The connection terminated as the air blade dissolved back into data, Guardian was unsure where she was going with continuing this fray, but running was not a good option. Watching the Narwhal prepare zuse knows what of and attack, she was about to charge but was shocked at the divine intervention at swift speeds from her newfound acquaintance as the net disappeared from her sight.
Trying to look around in the limbo like world she found nothing, wondering if she was spontaneously deleted, she tried to walk but found herself no further then before. However the plane of operation did not mix with her programming correctly at first as she felt her mind slip between the blackness and something deep down until she was overwhelmed. Her sight was blurry as she saw what appeared to be an old model of the net, black tiles with red frames on the floor and a purple hazy sky filled with 1s and 0s, an old model of store model Navi next to a fake virus statue was beside it. She heard a voice she couldn't pinpoint immediately, but knew it was human from the real world.
"Guardian.OS recognition test 1, initiate."
However Guardian soon pinpointed whom the man was, it was Chie's father! Wanting to know more she slipped out of the dream like state as her sight fell upon Unity and was still wrapped up in her dream to react much to Unity revealing his nature of existence.
"os? That explains, nevermind, not important."
Seeing the narwhal at a reduced speed from normal, she soon felt empowered as she transformed from black to gold, and purple coding turned to blue, as well as the ring, she had mixed feelings. She enjoyed the support but found the transformation a little much as gold was not her color and a ring was a bit annoying.
As Unity disappeared, she soon took everything into account as her mind races faster than normal, she could easily leave, but Nu was causing problems for the net, this narwhal needs to leave. Jumping forward she noted her speed as she ran towards the narwhal. Jumping above the narwhal she summoned her... Golden blades in midair, slamming down onto beast with both blades, diving towards the blue organ.
"I may not be much, but I won't let you continue mucking about this net"
