Fayt saw the beast reappeared in the sky floating out in the open. It was strange, it was as if he wanted to be attacked. That was when several cards appeared around him moving in erratic formations. After studying the cards, his hidden eyes widen slightly in what looked to be horror.
"Wait! Don't-" he shouted out in a tone that would be very surprising for those that knew him. But it was too late. The attacks hit with ferocity that shook the area. When the smoke cleared it appeared that the monster appeared unharmed. Then the eye of the beast crack and shattered.
Fayt looked on as the monstrosity revealed to have Genesis held hostage. For the first time in a long time, Fayt frowned. This was something that really got to him and that list was extremely short. Cowerdice. Using living shields to coerce those into not attacking. While not nowhere near at full recovery, his natural healing ability help him recover quickly. He lefp from the building he was still on to his makeshift platforms. He continued to leap to each platform until he stopped several yards in front of Dark Moon. He stared down the large eye of the beast but made no movements what so ever. With a slight flick of his wrists, a card appeared in each hand. He crossed his arms in front of him to bring the cards level with his head held by his middle and index fingers never once taking his eyes off this creature. He stood there like a statue as if he were waiting for something but keeping his eyes on Dark Moon's lone eye.

"What sort of mindless killing machine uses onyx-shields!?"
Needless to say, Zane was kind of unpleased by the fact it was apparently not an idiot. Of course, he was to be blamed for most of the damage that was done already. He was kind of glad that their took hits much better than others, otherwise he'd kinda have to take the fall for the main deal. Now then, how to hit the main eye without somehow destroying someone in the process.....accursed strange intelligence eye. Well....guess it was safe bet to say that the eye didn't just turn them to dust on contact now...or it could turn that on and off. What would be crazy was if the normal grab and attempt to rip out worked, but no way it would be that simple and would probably backlash more than anything else.
"It could've just grabbed some of these other guys."[/size]
Though it was a mutter, Zerix figured it was still deserving. Well, he figured that if they had no escape, casualties kind of had to start happening. May as start now, though he saw Zane glance back toward him and stopped instead. Stuck at a stalemate with a bunch of clay.....kind of pathetic honestly. Of course, only if that clay wasn't capable of blowing up most of the stuff here. Good guys didn't particularly exist, and now it was about time they tried to do something different. Though Finale was about to try his plan, he knew that it wouldn't be enough by itself. Obviously that was proven time and again, so here went nothing.
"Here we go then....double Zs?!"
Zaven placed his guns together, energy gathering at the barrel before light seemed to form on the ground, several 'mirrors' of sorts forming. While his own energy was poured into the shot, he fired it off, the shot crashing into the mirror before it bounced off, multiplying as it crashed into another, those then multiplying at the same time. This kept up its pace all the while during Finale's, Zane tossing the blade of flame to Zerix, the navi catching it and noting that he wasn't destroyed by it. Zane decided he'd play decoy along with Fayt, so it wouldn't know what was coming up next.
"You know how to roll, partner. Keep it hot!"
All of his energy began to gather, the familiar sphere of energy formed dubbed the Blazing Aftermath in hand. Its size changed vastly, becoming more of a ball size rather than a sphere five times his size in width and height, lunging directly at the Devil. He knew what to do next, Zerix forming the water jet, gliding off and blasting off with full force and landing on the blast of energy that Zaven had made, being bounced around while all the shots combined on their way to the last mirror, Zerix's glaive and Zane's first Purgatory fading as his own body started to glow, Zane instead tossing the attack past the Devil and right into Zerix's hands, who just then collided right with Finale as a result. Sending the gathered and combined energy of all three into him. It had been a while since they had relied on more than just themselves, wasn't it? The words of the Armored Destroyer made a bit more sense now honestly.

Well, nobody saw that coming. No point in just sitting around to watch, though.
It was mandatory that they keep Genesis alive.... yet still find a way to hurt the beast. The other navi seemed to have some sort of plan, so Remnant followed along by directing his attacks at the body, rather than the eye. Picking up his blade, Remnant dashed pass the devil to make a wide slash with his blade while it glowed with an illuminating white light. This caused the blade to leave a trail of light behind it -- called a "Remnant Slash". Anything coming into contact with the light (other than more light) would be incenerated.
Several repetitions of his dash later, Remnant managed to carve a dozen or more remnant slashes through the beast's body-- each which just sat there and burned away at the indestructable body of the Dark Moon. The sword had lost it's light, now. Time to retreat so that it had time to recharge. Remnant hopped onto another adjacent building to stay out of the way of his allies' attacks and the Devil's response.
Still questioning his presence in the battle field, Ash continued to watch. The time to act was now. He knew it. In his mind, he didn't feel like he could do anything, but in his heart he knew he'd regret doing nothing. It was settled then.
At the snap of his fingers, the Remnant Slashes were enveloped with flames as Ash approached the monster-- causing even more burning damage to course through its body. That wouldn't do much on it's own though... As he drew nearer, Ash held his hands up, as if taking aim with a bow. One by one, flaming arrow heads became visible behind Ash, until there were atleast two dozen of them that had materialized behing his head. When he "let go", they each shot off in rapid succession and tore into the devil's body-- sticking into their target upon impact.
Retreating to another nearby building to escape his own blast radius, Ash caused each arrow to simoultaneously explode with another-- essentially causing one larger explosion under Ash's control-- but he hadn't made much of an effort ot make sure Genesis wasn't in the radius of the blast. Hopefully... that did something.
Time slowed down to a complete halt in the middle of Ash's exploding attack. The explosion had just began to burst, and the edge of the blast was just near Genesis' body when it had completey stopped moving. With a slash from his blade, a wave of water rushed from Warrior's distant location to meet the blast and douse it completely -- still allowing the explosion to hurt the monster, but essentially nullifying its effects before it reached Genesis.
Small crackles of lightning originated around Warrior as his rage began to swell up. What started as a few pops of electricity had now become wrecking bolts of thunder, surging in and out of Warrior's body -- but his temper was still rising. As time resumed it's natural state, a massive strike of lightning originated from above the Dark Moon and struck through its body, followed by a rapid series of smaller yet devastating bolts -- none of them striking even close to the eye, or where Genesis was.
As the last bolt connected, reality itself broke away like glass behind each of the navi in the area -- taking them to a whole new dimension Warrior had momentarily brought them too. The Remnant Slashes broke off like twigs, and the flames across the devil's body were doused entirely. Everyone was floating as if airborne, but Warrior had complete control over his own body's movements and gravity.
Stars, planets, and other large objects flied past and between the navis at indescribable speeds as the raced through time and space -- trapped in midair by the loss of gravity. A massive ball of energy and fire seemed to approach them from thousands of miles below -- but it was approaching at an even faster rate than everything else flying at them.
Still having complete control over himself, Warrior lunged at the Dark Moon as if he had just jumped from the building he was previously standing on (although at the moment, it was nowhere to be seen). Reaching his target in seconds, Warrior slashed at it several times -- each slash being followed up with a bolt of lightning the struck through that devil at the same angle that Warrior's cut was made.
Slash, slash, and a spinning slash consisting of several hits and lightning strikes within a split-second. None of the attacks close to Genesis, let alone the Devil's eye -- but all aimed at the body that everyone else seemed to target. Finished the third attack, the mysterious ball of energy penetrated the dimension and collided with the Dark Moon's body and Warrior's, causing a bright light to bathe the area.
As the light faded, everyone had been brought back to the previous realm of reality that they were in before Warrior made the attack --- in the same positions, and in the same spots. The only one appearing to have taken damage was the body of the devil and Warrior himself, who lay face own covered in smoke as his sword landed edge-first into the ground just infront of him. He had been hurt, but not badly.
Recovering to his feet quickly, Warrior dislodged the blade and returned it to his previous position on his back while maintaining focus on the enemy at hand. Ashes and smoke still covered his body, but his movements and reactions showed no sign of fatigue from the pain. He had precisely intended not to hit Genesis through any of that... hopefully this helped the others accomplish what Warrior hoped they knew they were doing.

Whilst everyone was attacking the now exposed true eye, Phenoix took advantage of the chaos to allow him time to invoke powers he had not used for a long time. High in the sky above the battle, Phenoix began to chant something in a lost language, maintaining his internal charge and beginning to shine ever brighter.
"The Dark Moon schwebt über uns, Sperrung, das Licht der Hoffnung. Höre mein Plädoyer, der Sonne, Sol Gott. Gib mir die Kraft, die ich einmal verwendet, so dass die Dark Moon kann passieren und Licht kann wieder strahlen."
As he finished his incantation, his being began to shine with the light of the sun, harnessing a power he had not used for five years. The power put a great strain on his body, he knew that this was but his one chance to use it, until he learned again how to harness it. His wings retracted into his body, though he still remained airborne. A great flash of light blinded all in the area for a short time, and upon subsiding, Phenoix was once again like his former self. His power surging and his flames arcing around his body. In his right hand he held the sword that used to be made of his left arm, though his arm was still intact at this time.
"The moon shall not eclipse the sun this day!"
INCARNATION: SOL
Phenoix wasted no time, knowing that this form would not last. He flew down from the sky, leaving a trail of white feathers in his wake, and came level with the true eye of the dark moon. Warrior had almost completed his barrage as Phenoix became level with the eye. Just as reality changed to normal, Phenoix was not where he was when it changed, in fact he had still moved during the time of Warrior's attacks. He charged his blade with the powers he had been storing for the battle, and sweeping it to the side, a small wave of flames trailed behind it. Grabbing it with both hands, Phenoix initiated his attack, yelling out before dashing forward.
"Burn in the power of the Sun's Flame. Two become one..."
Phenoix stabbed the blade directly into the center of the eye, Staying there for a mere second, the blade loses its flame, shining brightly but doing nothing. All is silent for a mere moment, before Phenoix yells out his attack.
"PYROCLASM"
At that moment, Phenoix, as well as his blade, are engulfed in a massive and powerful flame, The light from which mirroring the light of the sun. The pilliar of flame that erupted from the blade expanding to cover the entire eye, carefully avoiding Genesis in the process. It burned for about five seconds, still a long time for a flame, before burning out, Phenoix floating in front of Genesis, almost completely drained of his power, his wings began to lose their feathers ever faster, revealing the navi's normal wings below them. It would seem that the power of his old self had drained Phenoix completely, having only enough power to hover in place, in fact in the most dangerous place possible.

K-414 let out a low growl as he saw the creature begin to shudder under all the assaults that it had taken. He didn't know how much damage it had taken, or how much of it had been his own doing, but regardless, the total amount of damage was enough to finally cause it to stop attacking. At least for now.
It shivered once, and then the eye cracked. K-414 watched, excited as to the final moments of this creature, when he saw something that made his mind stop. That wasn't its true eye. The beast that was K-414 howled with rage as he saw his former ally used as a shield against future attacks, with the creature's true eye right above where Genesis sat, nigh-crucified upon the creature.
K-414 was damaged, and he wasn't quite at his peak, but his anger fueled his damage, and fueled his body's resistance to damage, and he knew that, with enough time, and enough anger, K-414 wouldn't feel anything. No anger, no pain, no sadness...just rage. He hadn't ever gotten that deep into his anger, but he also knew that the possibility of it happening was high, depending on how long this battle went.
Then, with the eye revealed, the navi watched as the others moved to attack its body, rather than the eye, out of fear of hitting Genesis. But K-414 was not worried about that. He saw Genesis, and though he was an ally, he saw only one thing: a platform. He'd been warned not to touch this thing's body, but standing upon Genesis' shoulders would allow him to directly attack the eye.
As he decided this, the world suddenly shifted, and the wolf hunkered down, waiting for it to pass. Then, Phenoix was there, a pure halo of light energy around him as he attacked, a pillar of flame firing upward around him. As soon as it ended, and Phenoix began to drift downward, now low on energy, K-414 sprung into action.
He leapt to the side, bounding across the platforms that Fayt had created before he leapt, aiming himself directly at the new eye. His claws struck the jelly-like substance, and once most of the momentum had been thrust against the beast, K-414 let his legs stand on Genesis' shoulder before he began to emulate a Dempsey Roll, only slashing viciously instead of throwing hooks, giving no thought to his own safety.

*Embera ignored the battle, taking time to collect herself, she watched, everything happening before her. She meditated while avoiding the danger...She watched it all...pondering what she could do...before she acted however, she concentrated her energy, drawing in all fire that she could, Phen's determined flames, Zane's euphorically hot flames, everything. She reached out as far as she could before she felt an untapped resource high above her head... The Sun...
Embera extended her siphon upward and drew in as much energy as she could from the sun, almost to the point of exploding herself. She was at her limit, her body needed to vent the data, so her arms extended, and flumes of fire spewed out...But she wasn't done yet...She recalled the flames, and they began circling around themselfves into the shape of an orb. The fire in her palm was so intense...she could barely hold it. Combining the orbs together into one large sphere, Embera plunged the orb into her body once more, but this time, light, not fire exuded from her body, encasing her entirely... [glow=white,2,500]Soon the light faded, and Embera emerged again, this time with an altogether lighter appearance, hotter than ever before. She could feel the solar power within her, empowering her in everything she would do.*
Embera:...Alright, let's see how well this new energy functions. Stand clear everyone! I'm getting Gen down!
*Just then, Embera burst through the air with an unseen before speed. Upon reaching Genesis, she latched onto his shoulders with her feet before cocking back her stiff forearm and hand. Encasing her body in a white hot aura that already appeared to cauterize the surface sludge of Dark Moon, and burned Genesis' armor, but not his skin and figure, she generated a small protrusion that formed on her hand, though compact, was incredibly strong and sharp. She let out a yell before plunging her arm into DarkMoon's true eye.*
Embera: Nova cut! Time to get you out Genesis!!!
*Quickly, Embera began to circle her arm around Genesis, digging through the muck that made up DarkMoon. It was smooth around her hands, hopefully a good sign that the heat was stiffening the body. She kept working her arms around, trying carefully not to burn Genesis. She hit a snag, however...something wasn't right...Her arm stopped and could not go farther...*
Embera: This is wrong...if the body burnt to an ash, it should crumble when I touch it...I'll have to apply more heat then...Guys! Try not to let me get absorbed while I go to work!!!
*Embera could only hope her allies would be able to help her as she tried ever harder to carve out the captured navi within the murky behemoth.*[/glow]
((Yeah...This is Embera applying her new Solar element, and yes, she's defenseless right now...help would be appreciated :P ))

*As the attacks all came in, Dark Moon quickly began to move Genesis across his form, obsorbing each and every attack as he does so. One by one, the attacks strike the Onyx Overlord and tear his body to pieces with every attack failing to damage the eye of the monster itself. The being continues to deflect attacks as Finale makes his move, the devil entirely ignoring the Navi as a null-threat.... until Zane adds his power to the attack.
The combined power of the two Navis surges deep into the body of dark moon, stunning the creature for a moment, just long enough for Genesis to be broken free via Embera's strike. The eye of the devil then retracts to its core as it begins recovering, the sky suddenly flashing at the same time...*
*After the area-lock had been in place for so long, the stunning of Dark Moon finally gives MagicMan the time he needs to break it. With a flash of light, the mystic Navi teleports in behind the group and looks on with a serious glare*
MagicMan: EVERYONE; GET OUT NOW!

[glow=white,2,500]*Embera grabbed Genesis' unconscious body and threw him onto her shoulder via Fireman's carry, before tossing him quickly to Phen*
Embera: You gotta get him out of here. Everyone else, you need to get out, and find somewhere safe....I had fun fighting with all of you, and you again Fayt. I'll leave you all to go, and live for longer...I'll keep it busy...Master MagicMan....Thank you...Please...unless NapalmMan requests otherwise, please don't let them die....And please....let him know how much I grew...
*Embera took a brief second before re-igniting herself and flying back around DarkMoon. She knew it wouldn't last long before it regained it's bearings, but the others should be gone by then...and most likely, so would she...She didn't take the time to cry before she motioned for Cloaks to follow Fayt.*
Embera: Fayt...I'd like you to take care of Cloaks...Get out of here and be safe...I'll come back for you...I promise.... And get Dog-boy out of here too!
*Embera gave a light smile and bonked K on the head, knocking him out for Fayt to take to safety. Now that all was taken care of, Embera encased herself into her aura and practically teleported over to DarkMoon, attacking the beast repeatedly. All that could be seen from the distance were small explosions around the creatures body as Embera did her best to distract them. All she could hope for was for the others to make it out in time.*[/glow]

Fayt nodded at the burning woman navi before flinging his arms forward summons dozens of cards. The cards wrapped around the knocked out wolf navi and brought him next to Fayt. Then the cards formed a platform underneath himself, the wolf, and the Metfire that has been added to his company before rising up and flying away from the battlefield.
As he flew away, he looked down at K-414 and Cloaks. He was silent but knew what he was in for as soon as K-414 woke up. He then closed his as his cards they were on top of began to shift and reshape themselves until they were an inclosed sphere that shot across the sky at high speed.

Though his power was mostly drained from his attack, which to his misfortune had been so easily redirected, Phenoix realized that this was his chance to get his friend out of the battle, and for him to finally get the answers he so desired. Catching Genesis in his arms from Embera he recognized one name in particular from what Embera said. NapalmMan, the leader of the W3 and a force to be reckoned with. He took this information to note, but focused on the task at hand.
Nodding at Embera's words. Flames began to rise up from beneath him, enveloping him and Genesis in a quick blaze. He didn't use teleportation much, but regardless he still knew how. As the flame enveloped both of them, it quickly went out, leaving them nowhere to be found. A large network jump was in order to escape DarkMoon, he thought of only the most remote place possible, and he had seen its progressive change on his perch. He thought of but one place, the Elbrus Range in Sharo.

K-414 had done his best to unleash a torrent of attacks against Dark Moon, but in the end, it seemed that every single attack he'd thrown had gone right at Genesis. The wolf gave a low growl before he flipped backward, flickering from where he had been, appearing on a rooftop a short distance away. "darn coward," he spat out, the claws retracting slightly as the wolf tried to come up with a new plan. There wasn't a whole lot he could do, especially what with the fact that the Dark Moon was using Genesis as a Navi-Shield to prevent any damage to its body.
However, then another flurry of attacks came from his allies, and Embera shot forward, managing to remove Genesis from the thing's clutches. However, before the full attack was about to begin, Embera turned towards them all, a somewhat sad look on her face. Before he could react, to say that he would join her in this fight, she brought a crushing fist down upon his skull, ending any chance of that happening. The unconscious wolf was then taken by Fayt, the two of them lifting up off into the sky.
Moments later, K-414 blinked awake, glancing around at the card-made transport. "What happened? Where is she?" he growled, referring obviously to Embera.

Fayt opened his eyes and looked at the now awake wolf navi. He held his hand out and data flowed from K-414 quickly and painlessly until it formed a shape of a card which deplicted a flame being held in someone's hand, the Magician card. He then grabbed hold of the card which then disappeared in a flash. He then pointed back behind in response to the biped wolf's question even though there was nothing but cards in their vision.
"Fate has allowed us a chance to escape," he simply said in his usual emotionless tone. He looked over at the Metfire that was called Cloaks before turning back to K-414. "If you are worried about her, there is no need to. Deletion is not in her future."
He then turned back to face what seems to be the front of the sphere even though there were no indicator where it was. With a trust of his hands, the sphere zoomed even faster at increadible speeds. They were out of the city in a matter of minutes and continued to a far destination.

Zane grinned at general success for once, albeit he wasn't certain how the navi was holding up from what he did. Embera managed to get Genesis back too, though it finally did come to light what was being held out so long. Then again, he had his suspicions. His blades of flame vanished, seeing Genesis escape via the fiery navi there, then the card user and the wolf escaping pretty much not long after. He for one wanted to stay and take it on some more, but to be perfectly honest and rational with his own self, doing such was relatively pointless. If they got another one captured, they wouldn't be as lucky again, plus they had no reason to fight it since they could retreat for survival instead.
"You heard the magic, let's make haste."
Zerix glanced in Embera's direction before he warped out of the area, Zaven blinking a few times before he placed things together, retreating himself while porting out and to safety for now as well. There could always be another time for taking it down a few levels if they met it again from the first experience, and he had a feeling 'someone' would meet it again at the very least. Zane on the other hand, wasn't going to buy the heroic sacrifice bit that Embera was going to toss in there too, but knew the odds of what could go wrong if he went over to go grab her personally. That left one option still, looking over to the mystic navi.
"I'm still looking for an honest to goodness fair fight out of you, but can you make sure she gets out too despite the dying speech? Thanks!"
Trying times or not, a good opponent was a good opponent, no ifs or buts about that. Whether he was up to winning that one or not would come down to whether he was skilled enough, but that made one person on the rematch list and one on the challenge list both from the W3 group. There was that Armored Destroyer guy and Challenger too, but he would have to make work with whatever, vanishing in a plume of flames to his own safety too. The mysterious mystic was reliable, that much was certain. Sticking in Element was dangerous for now for someone they wanted dead so much as to commonly watch the cities, at least while New Life still hovered undestroyed and undaunted about the entirety of the network thanks to their own designs. He'd be back soon enough, even though it wouldn't be far enough to say that all of Electopia was dangerous with the sort of watchman they had now. For now the trio was split, each heading for a spot they were checking out to see if they could use them for something.

...Why? This was there final chance. Why wouldn't they strike now? Finale had combined with Dark moon and it had weakened him. So why would they just leave it now? Leave it to kill all those innocents. Finale's mind was separate from his body, but he was far from dead. Finale remembered something the virus had said when he was revived.
{Revenge on.... naaaaaaaaaviii kind...}
Revenge ? Was it right was it... Finale's mind clouded as navi after navi left. Why? Why would they run when they had their chance ?
uhhhh.....
Nothing made sense anymore.... Finale wanted to..to help it. To help dark moon. Destruction. Destruction was the awnser. The promise.
