*He didn't feel like they were nearly at the same strength. For one, they lacked the three Z members, who in their own ways contributed to the fights, Zane more than could be realized at times. Of course they couldn't rely on the strongest of the three to arrive given he went off elsewhere, which meant it would just be them. Still......*
"You already know I have no reason to argue about being viewed as a criminal or an outlaw here. This time though, I won't be coming with you quietly."
*Before it was a completely losing situation they had wound up in when they were in a run-in at the stadium, and a few fights with them had gone south a few times too, but those were from unexpected odds....something that stood in the way now too. All he had on this navi was his name, his ranking, and that he planned to do his job. Right now, they needed to learn something on him, even if it was something as minimal as his basic fighting abilities.*
"Don't become too complacent, Embera. Unlike the former Commander, we have nothing on him. This isn't the place for a fight with him, especially with all things considered."
*She at least wasn't as quick to the fire as she used to be. He'd have to count as the friends from the high places, his right arm raising from his cloak. It wasn't his right arm that was the primary opening her however, his left hand clenching beneath the cloak before a swirl of energy surrounded Phenoix, Finale, Embera, K-414 and himself before Genesis' sword had been in his hand, the corroded weapon giving off a blinding flash of black and white before the tornado swirled up further, ending briefly afterward. Once it had ended of course, all of those inside of it were gone. From appearances at least they had left the area, but that wasn't possible of course. Moved to another part of the city away enough to buy some time at least, they would have to work on getting out of the lock before they could fully escape. It was hard to tell how easily the newly appointed commander could tail them too also.*
"This is going to take some effort..."

*Terra remains stoic as the group disappears, looking directly into the flash, and only closing his eyes as he stands like a statue. Once the lights end, Terra simply keeps his eyes closed, already knowing that they were no longer there*
Terra: ....heh.... fine then. Dark Moon.
*Slowly but surely, a large, navy-blue blob of goo, adorned with golden additions across its strange form, rises from behind Terra in silence. It remains for a moment, unmoving.... before Terra utters two words*
Terra: Kill them.
*Terra then teleports out in spite of the barrier, rising from the building with a flash of lightning as, at the very edge, the being known as Dark Moon takes form. With a massive pair of legs it stands, a huge set of arms sprouting from the upper part of its form. From here, a massive slit opens in the core of the being, revealing a frightening sight.... a solid red eye. This being, now staring over the city like a monster, reveals itself to be a near perfect copy of the Shadow Devil, one under absolute ONB controll.
The creature, now looking down, rears back and releases a massive energy beam from it's cyclopian eye, giving off an obvious signal to those who now stand against it.... I'm coming for you*

"Don't you hate how things never go your way when you try to plan them out?"
They were talking among themselves. A grunt came from one of them, a soft chuckle from the other. Plan or otherwise, they always rose up to the occasion. And that occasion had just come to smack them right in the face of course, so there wasn't anything else that needed to be said. He felt the need to say it anyway just for confirmation of course though.
"We're heading in, right? He already went ahead of us."[/color]
A smirk came to his face then, kicking up from his spot in the area. As soon as the larger creature shot its attack off at his friends and comrades, he already had the answer to himself. He just liked making these sort of entrances whenever he could.
"Did you even have to ask? Let's go."
So they took the data from the fight from way back then and used it to make another form of the Shadow Devil, huh? Obviously it would be inferior since Gate made the first while they just used whatever they could to make the new one. A giant laser shot came up, hitting the massive energy beam that was fired off as the signal, just as one of his own. Following this, fire, wood, electricity and water each swirled about the Devil, working its way up to the eye and striking it. It was here that he jumped out, flames spewing about all around as the massive flaming sword usually known for its user: the Purgatory was in hand, being tossed off and while on its way, several explosions of flames blew up on the eye before the blade ended up slamming dead into the eye in a massive explosion of flames that blasted off into the surroundings, Zane landing atop a building a bit away, the giant blade crashing down beside him afterward. Zaven was seen on another building not far from the original team, Zerix near Zane with his glaive ready.
"Sorry to crash the party, are we interrupting something fun here?"

There was a sudden shift, one that K-414 was not aware of happening, and then he was a short distance away from where they'd been originally. The only way he knew this was the fact that he could feel where his previous data had been, knowing that it was nearby. And yet, as he found himself with the group he'd been with a short distance ago, he could tell that something had gone far outside of what Embera and Genesis had expected. The wolf-navi let out a low growl, about to confront the two of them, to find out exactly what had happened, when there was a sudden, thunderous boom.
The wolf-navi glanced out from behind one of the buildings that he was interposed behind, seeing a mammothian creature there. It looked ready to do battle, and indeed, it fired off a huge laser beam in to the sky, a warning shot to all that had escaped Terra, informing them of its approach. Inwardly, K-414 grew irritated, and that slight irritation was like a match lighting near a pile of sawdust, and the explosion of rage and anger that flooded through him caused the cool head that he'd had to dissipate into nothingness. He turned to Genesis, the one who had transported them elsewhere, and gave a growl. "I don't run," he said simply as he dashed out from behind the building.
He leapt, reaching a building's nearly second story before he drove his claws into the stone-like data to keep his balance before he leapt again, reaching another building. His hands were on the roof ledge and he pulled himself up, the giant thing, whatever it was, a short distance away. He then took a few running steps and leapt, reaching another building, and on the opposite side stood the monstrosity. Ignoring the law, for now, K-414 slammed a fist through the glass, darting into the building, not paying attention to the various programs inside that called out in anger or fear at seeing the wolf dart through their midst.
As K-414 ran for the opposite window, he saw another Navi enter the battle just before him, wielding a massive blade as he struck the thing several times before an explosion ripped outwards from the beast's eye. Right as the explosion hit, K-414 burst through the window, leaping from the height of the building. Several bursts of raw energy came from him as he fell, aiming for the eye just as the navi before him did. As he drew close, he realized that he had slightly misjudged his angle and was a bit too far away to land a solid strike.
His leap, however, would reach the roof he'd aimed for on the other side of the creature. As he hit the top of the building, he put down a claw and pivoted before leaping again, aiming directly at the creature's eye. He would not miss, this time.

As K-414 lept at the monsterous creature, a large stone pillar rose up between the wolf navi and his target to effectively stop his attack.
"It would be unwise to make direct contact with this creature." A voice call out in a neutral, somewhat emotionless tone. Mist seemed to gather in one spot behind K-414 until it took the form of a cloaked navi. This navi held a card in his hand pointed at the newly risen pillar. "A touch of its gelatinous body is a touch of the reaper's scythe."
Holding the card out, he swung his arm in a wide arc and the pillar broke away from its foundation that was the roof. The pillar then fell forward and landed on the large blob like monster.

Phenoix said nothing during the extensive exchange between this new ONB leader and Embera, as well as during the exchange with Genesis. At this point, he still lacked both information and power to do anything substantial. He did not curse this fact however, he had long since come to terms with weakness before. Having once cursed weakness, he found that there is strength in everything, even a lack of direct power. And strength can be gained and lost with time, he knew that better than even perhaps Genesis. However, he was frightened from this large being, not really for his own safety, but rather for the safety of the city. This creature, or at least the battle that ensued with it, could very well destroy Element City. His first impression of the ONB after these years was not a good one, and to think Suki was caught in a coup, Phenoix was astounded. However, he looked to Genesis, who had transported them to relative safety.
"I was wondering when you'd show up. I won't ask for too much now, but I am expecting an explanation from you later. At the very least, you need to tell me about that thing. I realize I may not be as much help as I used to be, but the years have been cruel."

*Embera smiled as the Z-team made their assault on Dark Moon. She would finally fight WITH them, and not against them. Stepping outward, well after K-414 attacked, she turned to Phenoix.*
Embera: Don't think that just because you're weak, you're powerless. Burst forth from your ashes, and strike with new fire!
*With that, Embera bolted off and began launching javelin upon javelin of magma at the gelatinous creature before them. After she stopped her volley, meteors began falling down to the eye of the creature. Cloaks was buildings away, pounding away at the creature from a distance. Embera, ready to explode, erupted the land beneath them, effectively causing a puddle of lava to form around the creature's feet. With another yell, Embera threw one last javelin into the eye of the creature at a near sonic speed.*

*Attack after attack launches at Dark Moon, covering the mammoth being's body with damage, most aimed directly at it's eye. However, as each attack screams near, the devil's hands rise from the sides of its body, covering its core and deflecting the damage. With the last attack now deflected, the midnight blue creature lowers its arms, revealing an ominous glow within it's dark red eye.
With a flash of crimson power and a terrible crack like that of lightning, Dark Moon releases a single energy-orb at unparalleled speed, blasting the roof of the skyscraper and destroying it entirely as a massive shock wave blasts out with highly destructive power.
The scene now stands in ruins, the roof entirely shattered as the group now stands on the otherwise top floor of the building, DarkMoon even now looming overhead as the mammoth beast looks on with blood-red eye. However, it's this eye that brings about farther change to the scene as, just as quickly it had appeared, it closes, the body of the devil-based creature becoming a liquid blob and oozing out across the area. In a few seconds, the entire being of this creature oozes across the field and runs down the cracks in the building, leaving behind nothing but the group*

(( >_> ... just.... my.... luuuuuck... things love to happen JUST after I leave >.o )) (( Extra-Super-Long-Post.... ATTACK!!!))
Footsteps echoe'd a short distance behind Embera and Phenoix. Almost as if breaking through a glass wall of transparency, Warrior's body became visible as he passed between the two of them.
" Change of plans..."
He recognized this beast... He and The Revolution fought it's counterpart back at the Melee Stadium-- but this version was far bigger than the one fought before. Luckily, they had all gotten stronger since then, and learned from the mistakes made in that battle. Rule of thumb-- never make physical contact with the monster. Ever.
Warrior continued his approach to the Dark Moon devil. Strange to note-- he was actually wielding "Faith" now... As previously, he was not.
While approaching, he noticed Genesis and another navi on a distant building. Upon seeing them, his figure seemed to glow dimly for a second while he continued running. And again, like he had disappeared before, his figure was brushed away by the wind-- leaving only the echoes of his footsteps behind, which those too died down just seconds later.
From the opposite side of the area-- approaching from the devil's rear-- was Warrior's exact counterpart. He didn't know much of this beast, but he had a direct connection to Warrior's memory-- so he knew not to touch it. Luckily, since he was behind the creature, he had a sort of element of surprise. Not that it would give him any advantage, though. Remnant sprinted to the ground below the creature, and his sword began to glow a bright white as he made his approach.
Standing on a distant building than anyone else, a new face turn his gaze to the devil. This didn't look good... but his fear held him back.
" there's no way I'm fighting.... against that thing... "
Just then, a soft glowing silhouette caught Ash's eye on a nearby building. When he looked, though, all he heard were footsteps. He didn't see anyone... he just heard them. Dust seemed to blow from the spot that the footsteps were heard from. ... Strange...
A white glow caught his peripheral vision from the rear of the beast. Some fool was making an approach from behind, holding a glowing sword. It looked familiar though... Ash's eyes widened behind his sunglasses as he leaned in to get a clearer view.
" Is that...?"
The darting figure wore gold and black... brown spikey hair... weird, pointy visors... It was definite...
"... Warrior?!"
That seemed to change everything. It was settled-- Ash would not sit this fight out. And after the conflict had been resolved, he had a word or two he needed to share with Warrior.
He had a rather long approach to make, though. Leaping off the building as quickly as he could, Ash touched down at ground level and hit the floor running. Sprinting at his max speed, he knew it'd take him a while to reach his target. But as he approached he took to mind the methods of attack that everyone else had used against the creature. He'd have to gather as much information as possible on the target before he made his assault.
Perpendicular to Genesis' right shoulder, Warrior's body re-materialized next to him in the same fashion it had dissipated moments earlier. He didn't say a word, but stood there with arms crossed and head tilted slightly down and to the side, so that he could keep this other unfamiliar and unfriendly navi in his view. Warrior massive sword just dangled on his back. He made no offensive of defensive movements, but sort of stood there to give Genesis the vibe of asking "do you want my help here or out there?". Genesis was tough, but this other guy was giving off much stronger signals than most other navi he had seen. Warrior was offering his assistance, because it had to be of some worth against this guy. Yet if Genesis declined, Warrior was prepared to go help deal with the big devil as well.
Clearly, though, there were already plenty of people working on that beast. And Warrior wasn't one to let a leader fight his battles alone.

[seems i was a bit late on that one]
As the ooze drew nearer, Phenoix kept his distance, lifting off the ground in case its ooze form tried to close distance on the ground. He knew not about its instant deletion properties, but as a distance fighter himself, and realizing K-414's hesitation from attack it, he decided to hold back. Normal attacks to his body seemed to have no effect, so he would have to hold off on attacking for now. He spoke to Embera from above her however. He made note of Warrior, good to see he was still well. He would have to catch up with him as well.
"You must have misheard me, I never said I was useless. Just not as powerful as I was those years ago. I can still fight, that is one thing I will never lose. If you lose the will to fight, you lose all that is important to you. That is not something I'm going to let happen. Regardless, we have to destroy this thing fast, It could wipe out the entire city."

*Whenever you said you couldn't rely on someone, you found yourselves with plenty of reinforcements. He thought they were going to have to play a game of hide and seek, which the Dark Moon seemed all too ready to perform no doubt while probably layering a fair portion of the city. Then again, it didn't look like any one of them here actually planned on doing that now. Then again, most of the people here never really were the best when it came to those sorts of things anyway.*
"Guess it's time to get ready then. We'll make up for lost time once everything here is handled."
*They had one target here now, and it displayed something its counterpart hadn't already: those powerful energy attacks. Each time they were let off, they caused far more damage than one would expect, especially that last one that had practically destroyed the entire building itself. No sense in hiding out anymore, he nodded in general for Warrior's signal to be on guard. They had no hiding spots on top of this building, while it had practically the entire building as a playing pin. Simply staying on the building wouldn't serve much good on the other hand, jumping back and off to land on a slightly smaller building that was close by, waiting for any signs of motion from it. If he was right on what sort of attack method it had next, then being caught off guard by it would certainly prove to be lethal beyond a doubt. The only question now was....how much would it deviate from the original version of it?*

Though on different buildings, the sight of it becoming gelatin and moving off wasn't one that sat well with either of them. Zaven keeping an eye out, it wouldn't make much sense to blast out at everything. Zerix held his own ground too, while Zane took it upon himself to let some of the basic info for it be known for the rest of the team by shouting out to them. It was certainly better than not saying anything and merely hoping for the best, though he kept himself alert of his surroundings despite the distance of course.
"It's probably been said already, but directly touching it can prove to be fatal! Its weakness is its eye, and it can use its liquid-like body to split apart and strike even wider areas in quick and massive bursts! Stay on your toes!"
It could fire lasers, fire balls of laser, could turn into squares or other shapes to move about and attack, and then have those squares explode further into even more fierce attacks. He wouldn't be surprised if this one could bounce around and rebound off of objects to strike against things. Needless to say, that would prove to be one serious issue. They could block the attacks, but barriers and auras easily dissolved the last time they tried them against it. Either way, this would prove to be relatively interesting overall.

In mid-leap, a stone pillar emerged in front of him, and for a moment, K-414 thought the defense had come from the creature before him. However, that thought was quickly nullified as he heard a voice from behind him, warning the Navi of getting too close to this...devil, whatever it was. "I'll fight without words from outsiders," the wolf-navi snarled before the stone pillar broke, beginning to fall directly towards the creature. Against the advice he was just given, K-414 shot up the pillar, aiming to use the close proximity to do some damage to the thing...when he saw the pillar hit the gelatinous monster.
The thing's body seemed as acid, devouring the stone pillar even as K-414 neared its zenith. With a curse, the Navi leapt backwards from it, hanging in the air for quite awhile before he landed on a building's rooftop behind him, sliding backwards. He slammed a claw down, the nails digging into the data that was the roof to slow his progress backwards. "bull crap!" he swore aloud, the creature's eye beginning to glow before it eradicated the top of a building a short distance away before it began to shift and change, growing gelatinous as it moved forward towards the building, dissolving it with its anti-data.
The wolf let loose a snarl, gathering the raw energy from within him again as he released bolts of raw energy at the beast's hide. He didn't know how much it would do, if anything, but he couldn't merely sit and watch as it destroyed the town around them. Terra was nowhere to be seen, which meant that it was us against the giant thing. And it would need to be destroyed: there was no other option. Anything this blatantly destructive was a Virus in design, if not in composition, and K-414 would see to it that the virus would be destroyed.
He glanced up at the one shouting advice to them, and gave a grunt, ceasing his attack to remain slightly defensive.

((Y'know I didn't even notice that Terra was gone til just now. Sorry 'bout that >.o ))
Warrior noticed the creature's remains seeping into the cracks of the destroyed building. This didn't look to good. It's eye was no where in sight, so there was no way of attacking it until it was revealed. And judging by the way it deflected everyone else's attacks, Warrior knew he'd have to be really swift and accurate to get a hit in without those mammoth arms intercepting.
Not yet though.
With his large sword still hanging from his back, Warrior leaped off the roof top (or what was left of it) to get onto another building. Catching his fall in a window frame, Warrior immediately changed courses and started running up the new building-- reaching the top in just seconds, only to turn around and face the crowd again.
Warrior kept his eye sharp... his would be ready to strike that monster the second it showed its eye...
((... Ash and Remnant are still approaching >_> ))

((Major missing of plot points means I get some strong attack to make up for it right? XD))
Finale:...I have kept quiet for the entire events of this. But NOW this is taking it too far, DARK MOON, I'LL KILL YOU!!!
He rushed from building to building, ignorant of all around him. He used small concentrated bombs of wind to destroy whatever remaining bits of blob was left, but it didn't matter, it didn't effect Dark Moon, because it didn't hit his eye. But Finale had a trick up his sleeve.
Finale: Viral Blast!
A strong explosion of wind rocked the area, affecting everything around him. It must have hit Dark Moons eye. It must have somehow, hopefully. An extremly weakened Viral Finale was what was left of Finale.
Finale: |3R1n6 It N0o|3S (("Bring it noobs" for those who can't read my horrible 1337 skills XP))
