*Hearing the alarm blare and seeing the weapons aimed at her, Embera began laughing hysterically. Zane had seen this before, this euphoric desire to cut loose. Screaming like a mad woman, feeling totally free since her collar was removed, Embera decided it was time to cut loose!*
Embera: HAHAHA! Let's go guys. I'll blow your heads clean off! Just try me!! HAHAHA!
*With a sweep of her leg, an arc of flames jutted out and began tearing a wave of Joes apart. Tearing one's arms clean off to retrieve his gun, Embera began bashing skull after skull in with the removed rifle. When the weapon broke apart in her hands, she decide to continue on, blow after blow, wiping out wave after wave of Joe without losing a breath.*
Embera: I don't even care to find out why anymore! HAHAHAHAHA! I want more! More bodies, more kindling! Give me the fuel to make a pyre for the ONB!
*This wasn't normal...Embera had snapped. This was the same sadism that nearly cost her her hands. The Somnium Cross was not embedded in her, yet the mania and ruthlessness had begun infecting her. This wasn't some intense battle either. A sinister energy formed as troop after troop was slaughtered in a giggling frenzy. This wasn't safe. Embera couldn't stop and as the laughter escalated, so did the uneasy aura that emanated from her vicious body.*

Well then. That escalated quickly. Looked like getting to Netopia would be a bit harder than expected. He remembered that one of the commanders in New Life, if she was around, had a habit of following orders.
"Whose voice was that and why is it that it's having a super effective effect on the chain of command here?"
The joes were confident, trying to delete Terra, Embera, and himself all at the same time. Embera alone posed a problem for that. Then adding him and then Terra who was probably more than tough enough to take both of them together and he had to praise the joes for being so loyal to the orders given to them. Of course, all he knew for certain was that Embera was going to enjoy herself. Again. Her laughter guaranteed this fact. Except once she started going that was definitely a lot more ruthless and sadistic than he was used to from even her. Had she gone even more insane since the time they were apart? Hard to say, she was normal when she was chatting. Well... normal in her case anyway. And so he lunged him, grabbing her with one hand with his enhanced strength and pulling her back, and slapping her as hard as he could with his other hand, which was closer to a punch than a slap just because he saw Embera as one of the bros more often than as one of the gals. Also why he held nothing back either.
"Darn it Embera, what's wrong with you?! I know we had to attack but there's definitely a way to go about it! What did I say about needless slaughtering?!"
He could tell from the aura that something was definitely wrong here. But she was so secretive about everything that he didn't know quite what it was. Just that he had to snap her out of her before they considered making a break for it. That or hit her hard enough to put her out, which he imagined he could as it happened. But then carrying her, which he imagined she was light enough, would happen too.

Iria
You're adorable spies. Reprogrammed by some kid hacker I assume. Low level Joe units have never had good fire walls. I'd say you should get "Avast!" but you won't live long enough.
Iria's hands glow their signature cream white color and Iria punches straight into the skull of the unit that had spoke up against her. Without removing her hand the officer whips the Joe around and demolishes the other malfunctioning units. Each one exploding on contact before she finally tosses the initial unit aside.
How did they even get in here...? We screen each program for these type of attacks when they enter New Life.

*In the prison level, body after body lumped up, engulfed in flames as the psychotic Embera continued her onslaught of the attacking Joes. As Zane had grabbed her, she still managed to kick a soldier in two, laughing maniacally as the body parts crumpled on the ground. She barely registered the stinging sensation on her cheek. It wasn't out to kill her, it was barely even able to wound her, but it stung, and she turned to its source: Zane. Her eyes lost the bloodlust in them, her hands dropped, and she slowly began to weep as she looked at the annihilation that was deeply stained into her hands. What was happening to her? Her hands began trembling. This was becoming more she could handle...but she needed to know why.
Embera: I'm sorry....It's getting harder and harder to stop. I need to know why. Why these vicious things keep gnawing at me....
*There was a stillness in the air, and though there was nothing perverse and vile, there was no joy to be had either. Embera was overcome by herself, and it seemed like she would only have a more uphill battle than ever before.*

The set of Joes fall before Terra has a chance to do anything, the violant show from Embera destroying them in an instant. A twinge overcomes the commander at this sight; whatever happened, it wasn't their fault. Of course, now is not the time for sentament.
Terra: We've been hacked. Whoever it is has already managed to get into the database that issues commands for Joe units, and now we need to make sure they don't get into New Life's operational systems.
...too late there.
MagnetMan floats out from deeper in the prison block, his arms folded in front of his chest.
MagnetMan: We need to get out of here. Whoever did this is already into New Life's systems. If we don't get out now, then we're going to end up in big trouble soon.

"We can have a man to man... you know what I mean, later, Embera."
Finding out the source for it always helped. He didn't know why she was this way either, though he did agree that blasting the joes to pieces wasn't the wrong thing to do. So their entire operating system was hacked and taken over pretty swiftly. Probably had something to do with one of the many surprises someone had set up ages ago springing to life now.
"Have I ever told you that the ONB creating a floating, nigh-indestructible death trap like this was practically bound to backfire someday? Should we go through a wall in here to escape or what?"
They would know better how to escape than him seeing as he had only just been here today in fact. He figured that the usual method of escape, aka logging out to another area was out of the question if the systems were hacked and taken over. And he always did want to try his hand at blowing a hole in one of the walls in the prison block and jumping out to the land below. In fact, he recalled Embera and TornadoMan doing that once before.

*As the room cleared, and Embera regained her composure, she thought for a second. It was harder than usual with the blaring sirens, and she was becoming frustrated. Clenching her fists harder and harder, to the point of pain, Embera began shaking her head, trying to get everything to quiet down. Why this? Why is everything so agitating?! She pounded a wall, a deep fissure shooting up from where she punched, and still, her head pounded harder. Letting out a yell, a shockwave of fire bursted out from her.*
Embera: GIVE ME SOME QUIET!!!
*The shockwave rattled out, melting away the alarm system, the intense heat enveloping everyone around her. With a deep, finally relaxed breath, Embera Transcended. Her suit glowed, shimmering with its own intense radiance. A tongue of fire appeared on her head, before spreading out into a small crown. The Empress had awakened.*
Embera: I'm done here. Let's get going.
*Holding a small orb of flames into her hand, Embera pressed it into the wall, cupping it as it burned and bored into the wall. Taking a smaller orb of of the same radiant heat that glowed from her figure, she slammed it into the flame, and as a small light erupted, a heavy, concussive explosion ensued. With the large hole in the wall now properly re-opened. Embera gestured for everyone willing to follow. Soon after, she leaned backwards, falling out of the wall and plummeting into the land below*

"Or that works too. Watch your step down, MagnetMan. I don't think electromagnetic pulses can actually help you get out of this one."
Zane smirked, referring back to Saul Kada's incident. Well, he supposed sky-diving wasn't hard for him either. Unlike Embera, who just leaned out to do it, Zane just took off and jumped out and let out some kind of shout. May as well have some fun while doing this, right?

As Embera and Zane jump, Terra takes a step toward the newly cracked hull of the massive station and looks down. He then hesitates.... something about this is wrong.
Terra: ...MagnetMan, I'm staying here. The humans should be aware of New Life's issues, and they'll need me here to fix this problem.. Get out of here while you can.
Terra then turns to the main enterance and heads toward his office. The blazing klaxton that resounds constantly serves as the background noise, yet also a deafening silencer. After turning to go, something overtakes Terra's body; a powerful numbness. Nothing more than annoyance for the first second or two, but as time goes on he finds himself becoming weak. And then, finally, he collapses onto the ground. Behind him, the form of a Navi with an outstretched hand.
MagnetMan: ...idiot. You have no idea what an EMP can do if used right.
....a shadow then moves behind MagnetMan; a large form of some kind that seems to stand at attention for the electromagnetic Navi.
MagnetMan: Go after them. They already know too much.
With that, the form shoots out the same opening that Embera had created, leaving MagnetMan looming over Terra's unconscious form.
...elsewhere, Gravity Beetle has met with the same opposition. Joes of all shapes and sizes have assailed him, each of them now firmly planted head-first into the ceiling. Trying to find out what's happening, he makes his way to the main area. It's here that he meets...
Gravity Beetle: ...Commander Iria! Something has hacked New Life, they're trying to obtain full access to the base.

Iria
That would explain a lot. Well. Where's Magnetman or Chillman? Counter-hacking is their department not mine. While using her typical serious tone, Iria was a bit confused as to why Gravity Beetle was coming to -her- on an issue that she could do nothing about.
I can try I guess. the enforcer glances to her left and see's a control panel. Without batting an eye she punches it with enough force to shatter it completely. Did it work? Knowing full well it didn't Iria was driving the point home she was no computer guru. Made especially obvious by the fact that she had destroyed a light swish to the room, blacking out a small portion of it.

Gravity Beetle shakes his head at Iria's words. He had no idea who ChilllMan is, but that's beside the point. He then just stares blankly at the needless destruction.
Gravity Beetle: ....um, no. it didn't work. I can't find MagnetMan anywhere, or anyone else for that matter.
Don't worry, they'll be my guests for a while, but I assure you that they're all fine.
The voice came from the teleporter that Iria had just come from, which is now active. With a flash of light, the form of a Navi appears. Clad in plain armor of kin to a normal Navi but of purple hue, his body is covered by a white, flowing lab coat. His helmet, plain and simple, has a blue jewel on the forehead, which frames a good-looking, relaxed face that now smiles to Iria.
Gate: Commander Iria, it's been too long. What brings you to my new base?
Gravity Beetle, meanwhile, has no idea what's going on. However, he takes a battle stance and keeps his eyes on Iria for ques.

Iria
Well what go- She was cut off by Gates abrupt entry and turned to face the bold scientist. See this is something more my speed, GB. Iria assumed her own battle stance, preferring fists over words, but noticed Gravity Beetles confusion and opted to at least fill him in before pummeling this nerd.
Gate, badguy, current leader of the main WWW sect, pretty big terrorist... and why don't you know this already? Without waiting for response Iria ignited her hands in white fire before slamming her palm onto the ground, creating a minor shockwave, and bolting across the room at Gate in a flash with her fist at the ready.

As Iria speaks, Gate's smile widens self-assuredly and his head cocks to the side slightly. his face now radiates a slightly more sinister, although overall apathetic aura towards Iria as he stifles a laugh under his breath.
Gate: More your speed? Hardly.
Gate just stands there as Iria's attack careens across the area. It slams into Gate with explosive force, but has all of the effects of a strong gust of wind. At the end, Gate still stands with the same smile that he had before.
Gate: I've long since analyzed you, Iria. You're far from a threat to me at this point. But by all means, try again if you like.
Gate laughs under his breath as he remains standing in the now damaged teleporter area, motioning for Iria to try again.
Gravity Beetle, still somewhat unsure of exactly what's going on, just stands and glances between Iria and Gate, still not making a move yet.
Gravity Beetle: ...um, I don't think that's going to work, Iria.

Iria
grr.. Stop being a Gravity Chicken. It was hard to tell if she was visibly frustrated by Gates taunting as her normal expression is generally one of anger.
The lobby had long since cleared out of any worker or Joe unit; having chose digital life over duty. Any generic schmuck that remained elected to hide under their respective desks. In a short few seconds that felt like an eternity Iria processed available options... She could hit him again, but neither attacked worked. Tackling him out of the window.. maybe. Maybe just hitting him with a blunt object. A desk would work, but they're all bolted to the floor(y'know, since New Life flies)
A grin akin to Gates stretched across Iria's face. Iria whips around clock-wise and sweeps the legs out of from a nearby desk on her right, freeing it from its shackles and allowing it to be lifted it easily.
Carrying the momentum from her previous spin Iria drags the desk into the air revealing, and dragging with it, a generic worker program and attempting to swat Gate in the fate and crush him into the teleporter pad wall behind him.

Amidst the chaos that unfolds in New Life,a portal appears in the lobby, allowing a navi with dark-colored skin and a bodysuit comprised of emeralds to enter the base.
His tangerine-colored irises begin to glance around, but he stops partway as he takes full notice of Iria,a certain familiar beetle-commander,and...some other navi? He was sure he hadn't seen the navi before...
Running up to the gravity-wielder,the navi skids to a stop right next to his higher ranked ally.
"Hey! What's going on here?!" Glassman exclaimed, looking toward Iria and what he supposed was an intruder. Of course, his question was directed toward Gravity Beetle and not the two who were engaging one another.
