Take that, Embera. Zane could get them out of prison by talking sense and doing the right thing! And she had called him naive before... Sounded like that had worked out perfectly for them. The controller was inside of Uranus, which meant a few others might have had it in them too. If he went by name, he would judge that any that were named Pluto, Saturn, and Neptune would have the rest. But there were five, which meant one wasn't accounted for. Terra maybe?
"So if that nightmare, Xion, hadn't stunted our efforts we could've--gahaugh!"
And that was when Embera decided to choke him. Her hugs were clearly fatal in nature. After being choked for long enough and trying to pry her off he was glad that she had let go. He didn't want to die right after getting his freedom and not to mention it... was pretty painful around the neck area.
"Well learn how to hug before trying it, you!"
He pitched a ball of flame at her as hard and fast as he could, pretty confident she'd be alright from a direct hit. Just aiming for the pain measure there. He seemed surprised, yet not at the same time. Because some was new and some wasn't.
"That monster corrupted everything and learned from us too. It left me a parting present as a result. If by networks you mean the whole networks, then the one in Sharo is gone. Someone else had broken in for it. Pretty sure Creamland's and Electopia's are out too, but those aren't as bad as not knowing where the others went."
Shutting down Juno and Eon? That was a good system they made there. Of course, his hand went to his head then. Trying to recall this stuff always made his head hurt. Contrary to popular belief, he hadn't just vanished to vanish into thin air when he disappeared on off occasions.
With his arms crossed, Terra looks upward in thought for a moment, piecing together the entire picture.
Terra: There are eight in total. One for each of us, minus myself. Each of my men had a controler and the data, and were told to install them in remote locations. They were also told to not inform anyone of their locations in case they were caught. However, the controlers can also lead us in the right direction.
It seems likely to me that the first piece of data is in Rammount Castle, as that's where Uranus seemed to spend quite a bit of time. He wasn't stupid, so the device housing it is likely hidden deep within the network.
*Embera was now only barely making sense of all of this. She didn't really know how any of this was going to work, but if it meant shutting down Gate and his plans, she decided it was in her interests to ally with the ONB.*
Embera: So I guess all I need to know is....what's this have to do with us? What exactly do two non-ONB members and public enemies have to do with this? More importantly, what are you about to ask us to do?
So each of them had one. That meant that they should have one already if they factored in Pluto being here and from his knowledge anyone else they might have. Embera had fought with Mars before if he recalled correctly, but then yeah. Skipping to Embera, he was a bit amused at how she made them out to be public enemies. He could walk in public just fine as long as the ONB wasn't there to attack him on sight. Embera was a public enemy because she went around and blasted as many people as she possibly could. Made pretty clear at the whole Saul Kada incident not long ago. His quip this time would be pointing out what was up, but then he didn't. He figured it was obvious this time, but it was easy enough to be answered by Terra there. Sounded like he had a mission to do after all, especially if they can pull it off without having to gather everyone that were rather unwilling on that part.
"If anything this can serve as a start to getting rid of that registration thing. Unless you like running around without your head on, Embera?"
Running around blind had to suck all the time, didn't it? With this they had an idea of what they had to do. Of course since he was watching Embera this time he saw her flipping out. So he caught the chair and set it out of her reach this time, noting that her habits of tossing things at his head was still around. Like the armor piece from before. He nodded to Terra though, because he knew that the ONB's commander hadn't quite dealt with her as long as he had. And this was pretty usual for her.
"We just head on over there and do the business. Pretty simple. Unless things aren't because someone else is there."
*Embera sighed in relief. It was the biggest thank you she'd ever given Zane. Clarity was all she wanted, was that so hard to ask? Walking over to the Inferno Knight, she put her arm around him with excited vigor, but unfortunately, realized the shutting-off of the network. With a puzzled face she walked back around to Terra and tapped her foot.*
Embera: We can't leave until you let us out...
Clearly the only answer to continue the path to what you despise most and become the most powerful being on site so no one can beat you so you can play the game fairly. fist pump ~Shast
"Correction, Embera. We can't leave without being able to search."
Looked like they were this time around. Embera was good at keeping her mouth shut when she wanted to after all. Now here was hoping that she was wanting to this time. He looked at his arms, noting that his original method for getting to it was fine. That was alright, because a good guy kept two keys to their safes. He held out his arms, the fire enveloping them as the magma arms took shape, flexing them a few times before the item in question materialized in the space between them, floating over to Terra after.
Terra smiles and sighs at the sight of the controler. It had been a long time since he'd seen it, and knowing that it wasn't destroyed is comforting to say the least. Holding out his hand, Terra takes the device and holds it close to himself.
....and then it happens. New Life quakes once again, in a manner similar to before, but this time it's not Terra's doing.
Terra: What the devil...?
As Terra looks around, the sound of a voice comes over the loud-speakers, making a proclamation...
Attention all of New Life; commander Terra is to be deleted on sight, as are the Navis that he's now with. All units prepare for combat!
....on these alarming words, a troop of joes storms into the prison-block and surrounds the trio of Navis, weapons ready....
Iria beamed into the dispatch level to the sound of several joes and navis shouting and screaming at each other. Pure chaos. This was of course no different than usual on this level so Iria paid it no mind and began the walk to her quarters. Hopping in the elevator and looking forward to replacing her hat. again.
