(Oh you had this coming.)
???: Of course, because things die when they are killed.
With that, an armored hand smacked the back of Opera's head.
I'm leaving.
And he left.

*At last, Terra had reached his fill. With the sound of thunder, the being of impressive power slams a foot into the ground, silencing the group as a whole*
Terra: I've already told all of you what's at stake and what must be done next. If you're all still petty enough to bicker and act like children, then do as you please. But if anyone draws near to this creature, I assure you that there will a price to pay.
*With that, Terra walks through the door behind him, entering his office and locking it off from everyone else*

Merrill sighed, and walked away into a different room, and sat on a cot. Healer came and sat next to him. They waited for the Joes to return, or for something else to do while they waited. Merrill meditated quietly.

[bgcolor=black]Agile smirked. "Yes, yes. Wait here until the Joe unit returns, and then proceed from there. My guess is those autonomous fools have already gotten themselves squashed by whatever it is." Agile gave a simple shrug, before he flickered towards the door. He lay a hand on it, as if about to leave, when the thought struck him that he really didn't have anywhere else to go. He pondered telling folks to evacuate here...but if that thing out there was able to teleport in before they had a chance to quarantine the ONB from its data signature...that would spell a massacre.
The swordsman frowned, closing his eyes. "We can't afford to wait long." He would leave if they hadn't heard back from the Joes in the near future.

Opera gets smacked in the back of the face due to shoddy collision detection, which kind of hurts because it manages to connect with the only part of her that matters. However, it seems the perpetrator left before she could point out that Navis generally do not die when they are killed, and she was stating that this Titan is the exception rather than the rule.
Opera: It seems all that's happening is Navis talking. So, while we're just sitting around talking, what's everyone's story? I'm sure you all have dark and mysterious pasts, so tell us all about them.

Ruin thought back to himself, knowing the thought was not his own, but someone elses. He could only suspect M, the only navi he knew prior to coming here.
'This was hardly my decision, That winged navi is gunna pay for this. He thought we would gain assistance from them, Hardly was that the case. Now im tethered to Terra, Hardly my idea at all. Not like you did any better.'
Ruin looked about, with Terra gone, he had no reason to hang out. He would have to play along while he found a way to get this thing off of him. Turning about, he kicked down a door to his pocket dimension, walking into it as it mended itself back to its original form of reality.

The wind navi merely shakes his head lightly at Ruin's thoughts, and settles to the floor. If they weren't all charlatans and fools, perhaps they would stand a chance... and if this was Phenoix's move, he's one greater than all the rest. A bishop removes himself, stands idle alone against both armies... huh. Silently he turns his mental attentions to those that remain. Excluding the Joes, the same thought pervades their minds simultaneously: <'We can't idle here if we intend to stop the beast. We need to seek out beings that may help us where our leaders can't or won't.'[/color]

((Let me be clearer: "those that remain" are Iria, Agile, Mercury, Opera, Suki (?)... and Glass, unless he left. You and Terra both left the room.))

Mercury returned the thought in full, addressing specifically that where the thought originated, but with notes so everyone else could hear it.
"The extent to which i can help is limited. I highly doubt many of the general populous will trust me, or Terra for that matter on such a whim. I can remain here and keep up surveillance however. Over both what is displayed and on others who would rather cling to old fashioned definitions of right and wrong."

*Finally, upon returning. The lone City Patrol Joe exposed the small container with rotating zeroes and ones which was sealed tight, not for safety, but for reading by the machines that would scan the code, erecting a field to repel the invasion of anything pertaining to the code. Handing the capsule to Mercury, the City Patrol Joe fell backwards, uttering but one robotic word.*
C.P.J: Illness...
*Just then, its data burst outward, its weaponry clinking off of the navis in the room as if they were gibs of the fallen one itself.*

Opera notices a Navi exploding for no known reason.
Opera: That's some illness. Generally Navis don't explode without a reason. Also, wasn't that guy supposed to be doing something important?

[bgcolor=black]Agile glanced at the Navi brought in by the Joes, cocking his head to the side as he watched him, curious as to his intentions. Before he had much of a chance to ask him, however, a voice burst into his head, which was likely from the fellow there, as the look he gave to the gathered Navi echoed the words. "Indeed, but from what this one was saying," he spoke, jerking a thumb at Opera,"The program was copying the data of everyone it was fighting. If we throw more Navi at it, won't that just cause it to memorize more optimal data, depending on the situation?" Agile inquired, before the Joe ported in.
He watched, his eyes following the Joe as it handed the data to Mercury before it was deleted, by what method, he wasn't certain. "He did do something important," the navi spoke, his body shimmering around the various pieces of fallen data from the Joe.
"I would assume this was already your plan, Mercury, but inform Terra that the data has arrived; we don't have any time to lose."

Mercury took the capsule into his hand, watching the Joe fall over and explode. He closed his eyes for a moment and raised one hand to his face as if praying.
"You've done well soldier."
Without even responding to Agile, he turned to the console and pulled up a communications window with Terra's office, with the Commander having locked it to the outside, it was this or regular mail, and this was faster and provided visual stimuli. As the communications window popped up, Mercury placed the capsule into the slot for analysis.
"Sir, the Joes have retrieved the sample, however only one returned, and he seemed to explode as soon as he returned the data. It took all the squad had just to get it. The computer is analyzing the data as we speak. Any further orders?"

[bgcolor=3D3D3D]The mentally invasive speech from M startled Iria, she wasn't used to listening to anyone's thoughts in her head but her own. Gather allies? Where? Who could he possibly have in mind? These were her thoughts, though since he could speak telepathically to her, he probably could hear her thoughts as well... Something she didn't like the idea of. Still, she voiced the questions vocally just to be sure.
If more foes for it to fight makes it more powerful, why bother gathering as many allies as we can?
The Joe unit, even if it's just the one... and even if he was deleted afterward, completed the task assigned to it. She glanced at Agile and ever so slightly bragged.
Told you they'd be fine.
Within her mind raced thoughts of how disgraceful Mercury was. After this ordeal was over she would be that much happier if he vanished like the others. Those obstructing to peace keeping have no place in the ONB.

Ignoring the words directed to him, M moves his head slightly to evade an errant shoulder plate. He hadn't spoken, had he? No, he simply planted the thought and hoped the Navis would perhaps listen to what each other was saying. He pauses and his brow furrows once more as the final word of the Joe echoes through his mind and he detects what the Joe had brought to them. No, they wouldn't dare...[/color] Shortly after the capsule is placed in the comm console, a small but excruciatingly painful stretch of electricity jumps backward to Mercury, batting his hand away and striking his chest to send him flying into the wall behind. Meanwhile, the screen begins runnings its assessment...

...and with that, the system begins to hum noisily. Faintly beneath the humming, something that sounds suspiciously like a system warning begins to play.Meanwhile, in the other room with Merrill, in the commander's office, and all across the central tower of the ONB HQ, data panels begin to stream information overlaid by more information until they become senseless displays of nothing but nearly-solid lines upon one another.
