Embera and Scruffy crashed into the ground like a meteorite, completely unharmed, and they awaited their opponent. Soon enough however, Embera had dozed off, Scruffy relaxing, waiting for any slight change in the area.

Several yards ahead of the duo, a large lightning bolt struck ground and caused a bright flash. When the flash faded away a second later, Warrior was standing there in his usual pose. You guessed it: Arms crossed, Head tilted down, eyes shut, and leaning slightly back with arms shoulder length apart. Perhaps he thought this pose was... 'cool'? ...Perhaps...
After a second's pause, Warrior broke his pose and came into a more offensive position-- both hands on sword held out in front of him, legs slightly wider apart, and body slightly leaned forward. This was not a foe to hold back on, and certainly not one to underestimate.
Warrior knew better than to "rush the gun", though... He held back on attacking for a little while, sizing up the scene and his opponents...
Warrior's very presence made the area a little darker and less suitable for the average navi-- for her sake, it was a good thing that Embera was no 'average navi'. The area's floor was covered in a mixture of elements-- puddles of water here and there, patches of grass, sand, and rocks. A few trees were scattered about the area as well. The sun was covered by a dark thunder cloud which seemed only to be present because of the presence of Warrior.
A small roar of thunder woke Warrior's opponent's up-- he had been a little late for the match, but now he was ready to duke it out and show what he was made of. Luckily, he was alot stronger than their previous encounters.
Due to courtesy, Warrior waited for Embera and Scruffy to go on the offense, first...

Embera yawned as Scruffy growled at Warrior. She climbed down and could barely speak through her yawning.
Embera: .....You wanna fight?.....Well.....I guess I can accommodate....Scruffy, let's go...
*Embera hadn't taken a fighting stance. Instead, she summoned a spear of flames, hot to the touch, yet tangible, a pseudo-solid of it's own form. She twirled it above her head and let it dissipate into the air. She did this three more times before holding the fourth on tightly in her hands. She took a deep breath and spoke to Warrior with a smile on her face.*
Embera: This is more my style...En Guarde!
*Embera sprinted at Warrior in a flare of heat. Dropping just short of her body, she repeatedly stabbed at him. lightly chuckling with each attempt to skewer him. Scruffy then leaped high in the air and shot two fireballs down at Warrior.*
Embera: Try to take the heat, boy. It isn't much fun if you let me turn you into Swiss fondue!!!

Warrior grinned at Embera's comment. He made no response, though, and simply focused on the battle. For him, this was a training exercise. He had to become stronger, so that he'd be more effective in real conflicts... He'd have to defend his very name and title: 'Warrior'
Warrior used his sword to parry each of the stabs Embera sent at him-- catching a glimpse of Scruffy in his peripherals, Warrior jumped up in the air to avoid the first bast of fire, then executed a mid-air jump styled up with a backflip to narrowly avoid the virus' second blast of fire... That was far too close, but no time to count his luck-- Warrior began fighting back immediately.
Still airborne, Warrior hurled his blade at Embera. Immediately after the blade left his hand, a bolt of lightning struck from the cloud above at connected with the blade, causing it to fly at Embera spinning wildly and now at breakneck speeds-- almost invisible to the naked eye since it was moving so quickly.
Upon his landing, Warrior dashed to Scruffy and used his momentum to deliver a jumping spear kick through the virus, followed by a spin kick to its front leg upon landing out of his last attack.
Rain began to fall from the cloud above due to Warrior's elemental manipulation-- water in the presence of two fire opponents could spell trouble for them. It was best to fight with a weapon though-- Warrior ran over to where his sword was now stuck into the ground [after hurling it at Embera just seconds earlier] and pulled it out of the ground, back in his offensive stance.
The elements were on Warrior's side, and so was his swiftness... The battle seemed to be going off to a pretty good start for him-- but the battle had just begun... He kept his eyes on both targets, while taking in his breathe to restore the energy he just consumed while executing his quick movements, just recently.
" 'Take the heat'? Heh-- try speeding up! It'd be no fun for me to take you down this quickly!"
The rain began to pick up a little as Warrior taunted
" You'd better pick up that speed soon, too-- otherwise your fire will be doused by the rain before I get to put it out. Show me what'ya got, little girl!"

*Embera had no time to lose on moving around the sword. Seeing it was nearly impossible, but she had faster reflexes, with slim timing, executed a spin kick dropping it a few feet from her. Though she had deflected the blade, she could feel the impact-shock surge through her body, temporarily immobilizing her. This lack of movement prevented her from properly defending Scruffy. The virus, out of his natural instinct, dodged Warriors first move with what appeared to be warp-speed movements, only to receive a kick into the leg. When Scruffy screeched from the pain to his burned leg, Embera nearly snapped.*
Embera: Don't you touch him!
*Embera soon let out augmented fire from her, almost as if it was solid, yet traveling along a current. This marked her adoption of her Plasma powers. The plasma energy rose, drying out the clouds. She flailed it out, heating the area to near combustible levels. Scruffy was alive, yet rendered incapable of fighting for the time being*
Embera: Douse me? Oh, please, you fool. I'll burn you where you stand, and the rain you summon will wash you away...
*Embera encased her hands in solid fire, and layered plasma around it. She let out a fury of jabs at Warrior. Knowing the navi would be to fast for her, she decided to cause an influx of power in each punch, radiating it out, making sure it would hit her opponent.*
Embera: You can outrun me, but you'll be fatigued when you try, and you know it....Face the fires, and burn for what you did to my virus!!
*Embera unleashed an uppercut and jab simultaneously at Warrior's chin and chest respectively, flaring her fire out as she does so, as to envelop any of Warrior's escape routes with fire.*
Embera:You may have element's stacked, but your petty water will be nothing but hot gas compared to me, just like your threats...

Embera had gotten a-lot smarter with her attacks... Dodging these was almost out of the question, now. As each punch came, Wariror was forced to take it-- but not at full power. He raised his arms like an 'X' over the top of his head while bending forward with the front of his body to try to reduce the effectiveness of her attacks, but that plan didn't work out too well for the uppercut and the jab-- he was left covered in ashes and flames.
To put out the flames on his body, Warrior made a lightspeed dash circle to the other side of Embera-- the fire was put out instantly, but his appearance was still nearly solid black from all of the ash covering his body. That girl knew how to bring the heat!
But atleast now Warrior was in a pretty good position for attack-- directly behind Embera. He had moved so quickly that from her point of view, he seemd to just disappear. While she was caught looking around for him, Warrior kicked the back of both of her knees, forcing her to the ground on her knees and hands due to lack of balance from his kicks.
" Then I'll make no more-- threats have no need of being stated for them to take effect."
With the blunt side of his blade, Warrior struck Embera across the back of her head to leave her head ringing from the attack-- not to mention a nice sized bruise. Before she could regain focus from that, He yanked her by her hair so that she was face up on the ground-- wide open for a punch to the jaw. Immediately following the punch, Warrior held his sword with the blade pointed to her neck-- standing over her body as she was on her back.
"... Or you could give up?" " No fun in that though..."[/sub]

*Embera was thrown around freely, all the way to the point of slamming into the ground. As Warrior's words fell to silence, Embera did something unexpected. As the blade of his sword lay at her neck, Embera threw her neck into the blade, decapitating her. Soon, her body degenerated to a magma-like heat and consistency. The liquid heat scorched his sword and burning his hand. As he stood there dumbstruck by the occurance, A lance suddenly sliced his back with only enough force to open a wide, but shallow gash.*
Embera: How sloppy, boy. You seriously expected me to just fight without contingencies? You're a foolish fighter if you think like that. You need to think more instead of running on instinct. *Embera withdraws her lance into her fighting position*. Once your instincts get fooled....it's over....
*Embera condensed her lance into intense gloves yet again and hooked her feet on Warrior's underarms, delivering a solid double punch to his abdomen. She leaped off and traded back up to her lance. This lance seemed bigger, and it was. Embera used the heat absorbed from the clone to make a larger, faster spear and threw it sharply at Warrior.*
Embera: I won't give up. One of us will be beaten to the point at which we can't fight anymore. Now let's see if you can best me yet... r

" What the--?"[/sub]
Before the thought could finish crossing his mind, Warrior heard Embera's voice behind him. Not good. Before he could turn around he felt a sharp pain in his back from her lance, immediately followed up by the double-gut punch which, since it had come from behind, he had not at all seen coming.
Out of breathe, Warrior dropped to his hands and knees, holding his gut to try and ease the pain in it.
" Hmph... Fine then, but I gave you a chance!"
Already refueled with energy, Warrior wasted no time leaping up to his feet-- instead, he simply leaped toward Embera, as she was still in the air from jumping off of him. This was probably just another clone... If so, where would the real Embera be at?
As the spear came flying, Warrior held his sword out infront of him perfectly enough to cut the spear in-two, down the middle from the point. Without causing any pain to himself, he continued to approach Embera while still airborne, between the two halves of the spear, picking up a few of the flames with his body as he passed through them.
Now he was adjacent to Embera, while both were still airborne. Again, using the blunt side of his sword, he struck Embera with enough force to send her flying toward the ground causing a small crater from the collision with her body and the floor. Before she had time to get up, he threw his sword tip-first at her, planning for it to impale her through the chest.
By manipulating his weight, Warrior allowed his body to do a dead, quick drop next to Embera, landing by her in less than a second, but executing his landing smooth enough to hardly make a noise as his feet touched the ground. Dislodging the blade from its landing spot, Warrior swung it at her neck in attempt for another decapitation... It felt awkward doing the same thing twice, but maybe this attempt would be for better avail?[/color]

*Embera hit the ground with a resounding thud, pain throughout her whole body from the impact. She had noticed Warrior driving his sword down upon her when she slid away, barely escaping his slice. With her body intact, and her will still ablaze, she grabbed his sword, burning it again, leaving it merely hot for the time being. After she let it go, she added some distance between them, only to close in again.*
Embera: you don't get it do you? Your attacks won't break me, my clone was beheaded because it thrust itself into your blade, not because you cut her....
*Embera aimed her attacks at Warrior's sword now, flailing fire at it at an alarming rate. With each hit, the heat rose. It was as if she was trying to burn his hand. She let up only a moment, letting the heat equalize in the sword.*
Embera: You say you have the elements, but you are wrong.
*Embera delivers a flurry of physical attacks as she continues to speak.*
Embera: My fire will dry out your water....My fire will feed off your wind....My fire will illuminate your shadows....
*Embera punched Warrior in the stomach, forcing his feet to leave the ground. As Warrior's only support was Embera's fist, she moved it from under him and elbowed his back into the ground. Just as he laid on the ground, Embera slammed at his throat with another lance. *
Embera: ....And my fire will burn you down...

Man that girl was smart-- His sword soon become to hot to hold, so Warrior discarded it immediately-- throwing it at Scruffy since he had no better target. embera was clearly fueled by fire, so feeding her more if it would make this battle even harder.
Before he could return his attention to Embera son enough, he found himself with his back on the ground and a spear to his throat... He grinned though, and the sky darkened yet again...
" You forgot one element..."
Before Embera could react to the statement, a bolt of lightning shot from the clouds and hit Embera at an angle, so that the force of the impact would send her flying away from Warrior. Perhaps Embera had taken out Warrior's main weapon, but being a natural fighter, he could use anything as a weapon-- a skill he was about to demonstrate for his opponent.
Taking off his visors, Warrior snapped them in half so that he held one of those little spikey parts on each end of the visor in each of his handa. They were sharp enough to be used as pretty effective daggars... Now that's creativity!
No time to boast for himself though, and Warrior found no point in continuing to taunt Embera... And, well, there wasn't anything that came to his mind to taunt her with. Warrior dashed over to Embera, but before getting very close to her, he jumped high in the air and threw each of his homemade 'daggars' at her. As each one left his hand, he repeated a tactic from the begininning of this battle-- he summoned a bolt of lightning to strike the weapon so that it would be sent flying at Embera at light-speeds. This time, though, there were two sharp objects flying for Embera.
Using his manipulation of the wind, Warrior was able to keep himself suspended in the air. In addition to that, he was able to cause the 'daggars' to return to his hand so that he could repeat his tactic. Several times he alternated the strategy: Throw right, throw left, return right, return left, and it kept repeating until Warrior had thrown each daggar three times. On the fourth time, he threw them both at the same time and caused an additional lightning bolt to strike Embera simoultaneously as each daggar would connect with her. Once more, with his manipulation of the wind, the daggars returned to his hand.
Finally touching down on the ground, Warrior held up both daggars pointed toward Embera, prepared for whatever she would dish out next. If he had any advantage in this fight, it was his ability to constantly switch battle tactics and his versatility for each one. He still had plenty of tricks up his sleeve, but he only hoped it'd be enough to take down Embera... She was proving to be a pretty formidable foe... This battle was far from over, though.

*Each attack hit Embera with a sharp velocity, she defended herself from any deep stab wounds. As she fell to the ground, she readjusted herself to land on her feet. She took in a deep breath and expelled a vast amount of heat into the area, heating them all. Embera was only a little burned, and only had mild puncture wounds from the daggers. she laughed and looked at Warrior's surprised look.*
Embera: Lightning? That refueled my plasma receptors pretty well. Thanks for making this so much easier...
*Embera was maxed out on heat for now. And Scruffy narrowly rolled away from the thrown sword, growling as it flew to him. Embera now created a cat-'o-nine-tails whip, and sent it at Warrior. As they wrapped around his limbs, 2 each, one wrapped around his throat, neatly suffocating her target. With a sharp tug, she flipped him over her, sending his body crashing head-first into the ground, body leaning out leaning out. She walked over to his body, and laughed at him.*
Embera:Stupid boy, you shouldn't pick a game you can't win, just go home now.

This was new... And boy did that hurt. The cat-o-nine-tails found itself wrapping perfectly over Warrior's body, causing him to drop his daggers, and Warrior's head found its painful destination: buried in the ground. Things have seemed to be getting much worse since the opening of this 'game', so it was time to start playing some more new cards. As he rose to his feet, Warrior sent a powerful gust of wind to Embera which, while virtually harmless, was enough to send her flying a few yards away, separating the distance between the two so he could ready his next move.
" Ha ha ha!! You think I 'can't win' this?"
Warrior removed the glove on his left hand, revealing a pretty deep wound on the palm of it-- not from this battle, but from one in the long past. From the wound came a sphere of bright white energy, making a humming sound as it continued to grow larger due to Warrior's charging of energy into it. This was a tactic that Warrior was sure Embera had never seen him use before-- not in any of their recent battles, or in any of the conflicts they had been in together when fighting alongside each other. He rarely used this ability-- only when he felt it necessary to.
While the energy was still charging, Warrior teleported right infront of Embera and whispered in her ear-- his tone of voice seemed rather violent, though
" I'm hardly even trying"[/sub]
Without a second's hesitation, Warrior used his free hand to grab Embera's neck, pick her up, and slam her back onto the ground. Before she could move, Warrior held her down-- left elbow on her neck, and knees on her shoulders so that she couldn't move at all, and so that his free hand was still... well... 'free'. Just as he had done before, he brought his daggers to his hand via elemental manipulation, and stabbed each one into each of her shoulders, to keep her immobilized.
The energy in his left palm was still charging-- now about the size of Embera's head. Releasing her of his hold and trusting those daggers to hold her for a second or two, Warrior used Embera's stomach as a foothold to leap up in the air-- not to high above her, though. Using his free hand, he unleashed a powerful torrent of wind directly onto Embera to immobilize her even more. Now directly above her, Warrior put out his left palm and discharged the energy in the form of a very powerful shot-- aimed directly to the center of Embera's chest, where the 'heart' would be. The torrent of wind holding her down continued to blow until Warrior was sure the hit connected, and until he landed on his feet next to her body...
" I've already won this. It was over before it began."[/color]

*Embera was caught off guard by Warrior's assault, winding up with a large hole in her chest. As she struggled for breath, her body melted away, scorching the ground. Another clone.... Soon enough, after the body melted away, Embera dropped from above, hoping to pound her fists into the crown of Warrior's skull. As she landed, she embraced him and whispered back to him. Taunting him in a pleased voice.*
Embera: You're making this soo much fun! You have just ceased to amaze me, so I think it's time to finish you now....
*Without any warning, Embera drove her kneecap into Warrior's gut, to rob him of air. She followed it up with three large punches to his uncovered face, and slashed at his throat with a newly made lance, hoping to behead the fighter.*
Embera: Don't stop now, I've been having so much fun....make this worth my while...
*Embera gripped her lance just under its blade, and kept it behind her. She wasn't one for defense, she was more a tactical deceiver in nature, brutalizing her opponents with her doppelgangers, crushing their will, forcing them to give in. Warrior was strong, but he was just another victim...*

Warrior's eyes widened as Embera's melted away... again. Another clone?!
" What?!"
Before he had time to notice her above him, Warrior felt a good deal of pain on the top of his head from Embera's fists, leaving him a little dazed and light headed as she whispered her taunt to him. Due to the position she had him in, it was easy to expect a surprise attack from her-- so he was slightly prepared for the knee to the gut. He caught her knee just barely by the tips of his fingers, but still sustained some of the blow-- not nearly enough to knock the wind out of him, though.
Embera's first punch came without expectation, as did the second-- both punches hitting Warrior in the right eye, making it black now. As the third punch came, Warrior shifted his body position and caught Embera's fist while manipulating her weight to flip her over his shoulder so that she landed on the other side of him on the ground, face up. As she got back to her feet, Warrior caught his breathe.
When she slit the spear by his throat, Warrior leaned back pretty far-- alot farther than any other navi could that wasn't as agile as he was. Balancing on only one foot, knee bent, Warrior's entire body was parallel with the floor in an attempt to duck under the slash. He didn't perfom the dodge quick enough to avoid the cut entirely, though, and was still nicked across the neck by the spear, causing just a minor cut with little blood. The slash managed to get him off balance though, so that he landed on his butt, with both feet and hands on the ground as well.
Just how many clones would he have to face, this time? He knew from their past battles, Embera could summon quite a few... She was only using one at a time, now, though, and they seemed almost as powerful as the navi herself... She was quite the opponent, but Warrior wouldn't give up until he knew this was finished. A strong sense of willpower was one of Warriors defining characteristics.
While Embera gave her second comment, Warrior took advantage of his low position and kicked his closest foot across both of Emera's legs-- sweeping her off her feet and causing the spear to slip out of her hands and fly up in the air. While Embera was on the ground, Warrior jumped up to catch the spear and chucked it down through the short gap between Embera and Warrior, hoping to impale her through the heart again. Upon landing, Warrior looked up and around his surroundings, seeing if another dopple-ganger would hop out of no where, or if the real Embera would show herself... unless... this was the real one?
One thing was for sure-- Warrior would soon find out if it was or not.
" I don't plan on stopping at all... Though it probably be funner for both of us if you stuck more than just one of your copies on me... That's almost an insult to my performance."
