[bgcolor=black]The trio and their companions beamed down into the backstreets of Yumlands capital city. Their targets location unknown to them. The hustle and bustle of the luxurious city fell on deaf ears here in the slums, as the only sounds were echo's of fleeing thieves, yelping old timers, and trickling water.
The setting sun meant nightfall was soon upon them, and their job would have to accomplished before the nightly terrors roused from their sleep... As scary as they were, Yumland's slums are dangerous at night, perhaps more than Netopia's.
Time to Nightfall: 2 hours, 30 minutes. Objective: Locate the Virus hovel.- Objective information: The viruses have flocked into and poured out of the back alleys of Yumland at various points of the day.

*Heal arrived with his partners who took this mission. Not being one to call the shots, he simply made the suggestion.*
Heal: Guys, I think we should split up, we might cover more ground, and, if one of us find them, we can radio the others. That a good idea?

((Just as a heads-up, Imma try to make Herc as close to his ego as possible))
Trailing behind, Herc followed suit, stopping with the others to discuss the game plan. Being his selfish, conceited self, Herc yelled aloud, "Er-yeah! That would be the best idea. Stole the words right outta my mouth! Here, I'll go this way, you with the Gigamerican accent, go....that way....and, you, you go that way, Reddy." Waiting for the others, he tried to look as professional as he could.

The third clown glowered at the first two and with a cranky sneer put a finger up to her mouth. If they were going to stand around talking, there would only be two data traces when the morning came. In moments she was gone, quietly pacing through the nearest back alleyway with both her Megalian and Jelly floating along behind. They had always at least had her back. Her own eyes were open only for signs of the labeled viruses - pickaxe marks, burn trails from errant punches, electric burns, swordstrikes... she could only hope that she didn't run into the sources of those very traces.

[bgcolor=black][Paruga you're the man]
The trio split in different directions, cover more ground in less time, what a clever plan! Power split in a third, but perhaps their overconfidence would do them some good, this time.
Herc had meandered the wrong way, and it let him to a dead end with characters that looked just as il-reputable as he did. They shoved him out of their turf, and he was left back where the group had met up originally! The alley dwellers warned him that if he came back, they would not be so forgiving..
A barely audible *shuffle shuffle* resounded around Hercule, its source closer than one might think. *plink* The sound of metal on metal pierced the reborn silence. It's source just as unobtainable as the shuffling, but close enough that the macho navi could hear it.
---
Heal during his search noticed the occasional blackened smudge on the alley walls dotting them at various heights and sizes; with each having the same shape: a circle, and the shuffles of footprints. Various boxes and dumpers lined the alley adding their own unique flavor to the blank decor, and some tracks led behind them..
---
Reddy and her duo flubbed about in another direction, while at first, seeing multiple slash marks in various alley clutter like: Trash cans, dumpsters, and the walls themselves. While if one glanced at the ground, noticed the shuffle of footprints, their direction masked by the amount of prints there was.
The stream of tracks that Reddy was following seemed to be but an offshoot of the main river, as she passed another pathway through the alley her virii companion, Urchin, nudged her with its tentacle to alert her that there was more tracks down that way.
The trail of tracks was much thicker if she continued walking in a straight line, it could possibly lead to the nest.. or she could follow her companions nudging, and follow the other small trail of tracks.

*Heal noticed the tracks past the boxes, as well as the shuffle of feet. He had radioed to the other navis in his group.*
Heal: Guys, it's Heal. I noticed some tracks in the alley I was in, I'm going to check further. The viruses might be here. Reddy, Herc, what's your status?
*While waiting for their response, Heal was continuing his search down the alley.*

With a nod toward Urchin, she assessed the path. The dusk was young, there was time yet - and better for her companions to find the main group first, if at all. She turned down the way her jelly pointed to follow the tracks, and previous thoughts of peanut butter and bread vanished. At Heal's message, she only shot of a reply e-mail before turning her communicator almost to silent:
Silence on the band unless you find something interesting. Tracks everywhere.

[Lol, thanks Shast]
Herc meandered through his alleyway when he ran into a couple of gangbangers. They warned him to get out of here unless he wanted to be deleted, so in response, Herc replied "Bring it on!! I'm the Martial Arts Champion!" Getting in a back-stance, with Lucky looming behind him, he looked quite the foe. That is, until the three gangbangers advanced, weapons drawn. Herc became wide-eyed, and tore off in the opposite direction, calling back to them, "Er- my stomach isn't feeling too well. I'll have to show you guys my skill at a different time!"
Herc ran and stumbled back to the middle alleyway, where he was previously with the others. It was then that he got Heal's message. He radioed back, "It's all fine right here! Don't worry, if you come into trouble, just radio in Herc, and I'll be there quick!" Herc the nlooked at Lucky, and seeing his nervous look, Herc turned around, seeing strange tracks, and hearing a metal -clink!- He then called Heal back, saying "Uh-yeah! I see those tracks too! Looks dangerous, here, we better team up!" Freaking out, Herc ran off towards Heal's alleyway.

[bgcolor=black]As Herc left the starting spot, a Mettaur poked its head out from behind a dumpster, waving its pick axe at him as he went as if he were waving goodbye. It meandered out into the opened and hopped its way down the trail Reddy had taken...
----
Herc and Heal were now together, and inspecting various aspects of the alley way, looking for clues. The burnt marks left no hint of which direction the blast had come from, and the tracks were as random as could be. Clearly virus prints, yet few in number. If one examined closely enough, they could see that the tracks, while random, gradually lead further down the alley.
----
Reddy and taken Urchins advice, and proceeded down the other trails footprints. Yet not moments after she had started down it, a Mettaur hopped by her. Reaching her waist in height while jumping, and exerting little energy doing so. The Mettaur ignored Reddy and her companions completely as it hurried down the alley. Occasionally stopping to make sure it was going the right way.

Heal was continuing to investigate the tracks down the alley, when Herc bumped into him. Heal almost punched him for shaking so violently about the other navis.
Heal: How'd someone like you survive in the Undernet!? You better pull your weight or I'll leave you with no reward...

Reddy spun on her heel and gave a glare to Urchin, but turned around and began searching for another path parallel to the one she had come from - if she were to walk into a trap, it would be at her convenience.

"Pshaawww!!! I didn't just survive in the Undernet! I ruled the U-net a few years ago! They were gonna make a statue in my honor, but couldn't find enough data to complete this awesomeness!" At this point, Herc had finished his arguement in a Champion pose. He then trailed behind Heal, searching, when he heard another -clink in the trash, bypassing it as garbage. "Come on. What're we even looking for, specifically? A Champion has to know his opponent. You'd be one if you knew that, Heal."

[bgcolor=black]Reddy had continued pursuing the little Met, it stopped when the alley turned a sharp and abrupt left. The Met glanced around, scanning farther down the backwater passage, and and then above it... It continued scanning the two directions, completely oblivious that a trio of bodies were a short way behind it.
----
Heal and partner, Herc, had seemingly come to an abrupt halt, their path impeded by a shabby construct of cardboard boxes, dumpsters, and small silver cylinder trash cans. Written on a white painted plank of wood and hung on the handle of the highest trash can were the words 'KEEP OUT!'. The wall was big enough that climbing over it would be a chore, though if one glanced near the bottom there was a small entrance, about half the size of the two Heel navis.

Heal pushed Herc against the wall a whispered to him angrily. This pompous navi needed to learn his place. Champion? He couldn't have a hint of stealth with the way his knees keep knocking.
Heal: We're looking for a hovel of viruses around here. Now listen up here. One wrong peep out of you, and I'll take your funds for myself, got me? Just be lucky your life is intact. *Gazes over to the sign* "Keep out" eh? Well, I don't think the door will fit, so we're finding another entrance.
*Heal thought for a moment, then, he kept holding onto Herc. Not only that, but his grip was tighter. With one heavy throw, Heal hurled Herc through the construct, knocking everything down. Heal: After you...
*Now, with a demanding tone, Heal spoke in the alley.*
Heal: Anybody home?!

Herc took a step back as Heal berated him. He couldn't believe this navi was insulting the greatest navi of all time! "Er- I see you aren't a fan..." His assumption was true when he felt a pinch from Heal's grip and felt air flying through his hair when he was sent soaring into the barracade.
*Oomph!* {Well....This can't be good. Aw, I'm probably bleeding!!} Herc thought. He scattered around the junk, then pulled himself up. He took a step in something sticky and looked down to see rotten food covering his feet. "Aw!" He cried out. He looked around in the dank musk when he was inches away from a pair of red eyes staring at him. "Hey Heal! Check it out!"
