Glassman's eye twitched as he saw what Baseman was up to and shook a fist in his direction.
'What.is.he.DOING?!' Glassman shouted in his mind. He then shrugged,at least he'd be able to meet someone else.
Ephradil, who had seen the whole thing, shook his head and decided to get himself something from the bar as well, ending up next to Baseman.
"You know that was wrong, right? Playing a prank on my friend Glassman." he said with a smirk, though he meant to be scolding the navi for his prank.

Merrill and Cypher both walk up to join others at the Event. Merrill goes and leans aganst a wall, near the entrence, occationally looking towards the beach. Cypher went and sat down in a chair, waiting for Merrill to join her.
Healer and counter both respectully sat near cypher. They were glad to see eachother again. Both Merrill's Butterfly and dragonfly hovered at his shoulders.

The cloaked Navi looked at Chanceman who had just talked about him, talking about how he gave the creeps to people. Cloaked Navi: "...;_; B-But... I'm not even story approved, so I don't even exist in-story. I just have attacks that are numbered. Like a robot or something! D: What have I done to deserve being associated with a creep!?"A being with a black hat with a bright azure feather walked in, his long azure hair covering one eye and reaching down to his neck. From under that hat navy-blue eyes stared out at both the mysterious Navi and Chanceman. By appearance, he was that familiar Navi that had been slain in front of Resonance earlier, triggering Resonance's darker emotions. Familiar Navi?: "...Anthem, suck it up. >_> I'm too busy working on Andante at the moment. He's a Metool. You're... just someone who dies in battle because you suXX0rs deluXX0rs. <_<; Though to be honest, I don't remember making you such a crybaby. ...Oh, right - you don't have a character or real personality yet either. Whooooooops. >_>;;"The cloaked Navi looked back at the familiar Navi. Anthem.EXE: "...If this weren't a party, I'd use Attack 2, Attack 11, Attack 10, Attack 11, Att... ack... I'M A FRICKING JOKE! T_T WHY, SILARE... WHY!?"The character in the familiar Navi's likeness looked around. Silare: "Because I have work to do. Just be thankful that you're better than Rondo.EXE was in the MMM V4.0. You can at least win some battles. ...Actually, where IS Andante?"* * * In the basement, a being stood near the dance floor with purple sunglasses on, a purple scarf, and purple stereo-grade headphones, looking around. The lack of people wanting to dance or party down here made him slightly annoyed. ???????: "...Mm. Why are people so lazy...?"Suddenly, a being wearing a massive evergreen-coloured mantle appeared before him in a flash of light, giving off purple shards of glass. ????????: "You look like you could use some help."In that man in green's hand, a yellow Metool appeared with the Greek letter lambda on its helmet instead of the usual plus. He turned and headed upstairs. * * * Holding out a megaphone, the being in lime-green started to make an announcement. ????????: "Hey, fruitfaces! There's a dance floor downstairs too! So go dance or something before I start pricking you all with my certificates of phail like in-story! D:< That's right. And then Beeftool, Lambda, and I will start running around like the psychotic Metools we are!"Lambda.VIR: "Meeeppp... -_-" (He doesn't realize that he's human right now, does he?)

Zane sat at the bar and drank his third drink, eyes mostly still going about to the others. Yup, things felt just about right around here with everything. He wasn't exactly gifted with dancing feet, so he wouldn't dare go down to the dance floor. Of course, if he could get a recording of himself doing the Robot, even if he didn't want to, he'd get enough laughs out of it just to make up for it. Eh, no pain no gain some would say. Getting up from his seat before walking over to Anthem and patting him on the shoulder.
"Every joke has a punchline. You'll find yours.....someday. Perhaps. Maybe. I think?"
Things looked bleak for this one, but maybe he'd get through his joke phase soon enough. Waving over to Void before placing his glass on the counter along with a camcorder in hand and making his way over to the stairs to the dance floor. Time to get his laugh on.

*Ah, the usual festive activities. He had to admit, it would feel awkward not seeing it like this. Giving a short wave to Void, it was an actual nice change to see so many people who would normally be at one throat to the next not doing as such. Guess this was what you got when you ended up somewhere outside of everything else.*
"They need to throw these things more often. Doesn't help that life is always keeping them busy too."
*Whoever Genesis was talking about, he knew some people would. Of course whenever he went to these, he never did good with the intermingling part that was supposed to happen. Of course, one of the times he had a feeling his drink got spiked. It had that minty fruitiness that only darkness could have. Maybe that was his imagination. A better point would be his imagination of even knowing what darkness would taste like. He was surprised to see Merrill taking a similar position to his own with the wall, shrugging it off after. If anyone would end up going around, it was usually him and his varying posse.*
"Which reminds me...I wonder how they're getting up there?"
*Genesis was referring to the Mets that were running in and out with deliveries. Maybe they just jumped up to the counter and cooked? He would rack his brain dry if he questioned how in the world they cooked, so he would just leave that alone and say they jumped up to the counter and magically got the food ready, if that even made sense. Walking off for a moment before he came back with his own glass, leaning back against the wall as he shook his head at Anthem. He could relate to his pain, but he never would want to go through it. He would need to work on fixing his dragged out mental dialogues. He could put that on hold though for as long as he wanted, taking a sip of his drink.*

Xenneth had watched a bit skeptical as the female NetNavi had seemed to take a kinder of eating the spread. She seemed particularly interested in the fruit, quickly gathering she was vegetarian by nature. He did not even expect such a thing was possible with a NetNavi. It was rather the attraction she had to tropical fruits in sensations, not to mention how she seemed to relish each taste before moving on to another. He wondered what her true “nature” was for a Custom NetNavi. She seemed to be specially attracted to coconut, oranges, and sliced bits of bananas as she became a glutton at that very moment making Xenneth watch awkwardly as he had not realized that the beautiful woman had such an appetite.
“W-w-wow…” Xenneth had commented staring at Megami, “Such an appetite.”
The female had paused as she had titled her head back and made a powerful swallow. Her eyes had gone to the video screen that had came up to her side and she look at the violet haired boy with a puzzled expression. “Is that…unnatural?” she had asked a bit worried as she gazed to Xenneth with a sorrowful stare that made his heart sink with regret. His hands lifted as he tossed them side to side in worry the moment they had looked at him full of grief.
“N-n-no! Not at all!” Xenneth had beckoned desperately, “A lot of people have huge appetites! I-I was just being a little rude and staring…”
Megami smiled weakly as she looked towards the displayed video screen. “It‘s okay…” she had said, ”…I was just a little carried away. I have never tasted such food before! It does not just restore some of my energy, but it‘s quite delicious! I wish you could try some! Do they have this kind of food in your world as well?”
Xenneth had nodded confirming that they did in a cheerful tone. Megami had went back to eating from the dish spread. Her eyes had been upon the plate, and once again picking from the three favorite fruits she had happened to appeal to by instinct. Xenneth’s eyes had sunk sadly as he felt bad about making such a careless statement. He knew Megami felt indifferent about her being a NetNavi without experience. She had felt improper and irregular compared to others she had come across which did not make her feel good about herself. Even when Xenneth had stressed that she was “special” she had still wished she could be a little more similar to others for the sake of knowing by instinct how to protect and serve Xenneth as his NetNavi.
It was a delicate situation every time he made her feel less of the NetNavi that she wanted to be.
"Hey, I know you don't know me but there's this really nice navi that wants to meet you."
Megami had picked her head up as she gazed at the NetNavi who had spoke this so suddenly. His trots had been almost silent to her because of the way she had been engorging herself upon the spread of fruit. The NetNavi’s gestured hand went over to a peculiar other who had been standing there. She was unsure of how to respond, nervously, she had stared at the NetNavi for a moment for seeing the other make their leave before she turned to Xenneth.
“I‘m wanted by another NetNavi?” she had asked Xenneth who had stared on a bit confused, “Should I go over Xenneth-kun?”
This sounded like something familiar when he was in a private school, an invitation to some sort of “interest.” The thought of it made him shiver seeing he experienced the very same thing at one time, except that it was a complete disaster since he had to explain that he was “not” a girl to that person. He was not good with decisions, mainly concerning meeting others since he was himself shy. He could only say what he could as he made an answer to Megami.
“W-well, it‘s up to you Megami.”
The eyes of the NetNavi had lifted her brows with interest. Her head slightly tilted in that same manner that she acquired by staring at the boy’s. “I see…” she had said with a bit of nervousness in her voice seeing that she still was not very good with people, especially communicating with a NetNavi that probably had an origin that was unlike her own. However, she was curious, and that made her walk, slowly approaching Glassman as she had stood before him in a few minor delicate steps while her hands were in her lap.
She bowed solemnly before lifting her head full of chestnut brown hair as she gave the NetNavi her signature smile.
“Good evening,” she had greeted kindly, “My name is Megami.EXE! I am pleased to meet you! You have summoned me, yes?” she had spoke as if her manners were a routine of her kindness. Even if the experience was thrilling, new to her, she still felt a bit unsure talking to other people that was not her violet haired NetOp she had become more accustomed to. ::OOC Stats::Now Listening To: ”Lucky“ by Britney SpearsIC Attire: Mid-Summer WhiteChatty Ditz: For those who don't know the "Coconut, Orange, Banana" reference, the set of fruit is what makes the spread "Ambrosia." =3 Topic Quotation: Megami‘s Thoughts[/size]

Next to Genesis, a light cough betrays the presence of another navi. But a handful of feet away, his back resting against the wall on which he sits and with an utterly clear drink sitting on the floor beside him, Toxin chuckles while observing the main lay of tables. 'Life? Bah. School isn't life.' He lets his head fall back against the wall and yawns with a massive rasp more akin to the blowing of wind.
-
Out on the pier a solitary navi, grim and tall, skips stones nonchalantly into the sunset. His thick white dreads flop around with each toss, catch the sun, and seem to light ablaze.http

Baseman was drinking even more as he looked over to Glassman before he spoke to Ephradil.
"Listen, man. I wasn't playing a 'prank' per se, but merely 'expanding his horizons.' Besides, you have to admit, she's a pretty navi. I know Chanceman admires her appetite more. Ephradil...relax...this is a party. When things are all said and done, they will forget each other like this party never happened."
Chanceman heard his name from Baseman and immediately went to him as if Namkcab and Aluminum never existed.
"What did you say about me, Baseman?"
Chanceman hasn't particularly liked Baseman due to his loose tongue. More over, he knew Baseman personally and didn't want to make a scene.
"Oh I was just saying how you might be a little jealous at the amount of food Megami can eat. I know how too much food makes you queasy."
Chanceman sat on the other side of Ephradil, yet spoke to Baseman like he never existed.
"So what if I can't eat much, I don't go around chasing every navi in a cyber-skirt. You need to keep your eyes in your head more. Excuse me! One more, please."
Chanceman took his drink and walked over to Genesis.
"Howdy, there! The name's Chanceman! Good t' meet ya. You seem too quiet. C'mon get out there. You shouldn't be so suspiscious of people. It's a party y'know. You have everywhere else where your enemies are, but you'll not find them here. We're friends, all of us."
Chanceman sat against the wall next to Genesis and took a big gulp from his drink.

?????: "...Phail. v.v"The man in green slumped down with the Metool on his head and walked down, Metool virus in tow as he sulked at the dance floor. * * * Suddenly, a truly shady figure appeared at the door as the curtains flew around. With his coming came a slight gust of wind, almost blowing out the candles in the room. A figure dressed in a massive cloak with chains everywhere and a hood that covered the whole of his face from view stepped in, with both three wings of an angel and three wings of a reaper. He had a fearful presence to him, giving off blue embers as he moved slowly, like a ghost. Anthem looked at Chanceman for a second. Anthem.EXE: "There, happy now? THAT'S the scary guy of the story. So why hate on me? T_T"

"Hi, my name's Aluminum. Nice to meet ya. You say you go by Gen? You know, I hear there's another navi whose nickname is Gen. That could get confusing. My bulky compadre talking with the slender navi over there is Namkcab. He speaks backwards." Aluminum replied to Gen. The metal navi then looked on over to the one next to Gen and politely asked, "And, what is our name, my good man?"
Namkcab heard his name called by Aluminum and walked over to the three navis. He walked over, "Backman si eman ym, ih. {Hi, my name is Namkcab.}" The ice navi heartily shook the hand of Gen, who seemed much more sociable than the white-masked navi beside him. Namkcab whispered to him, " Yddub nuf erom TOL a evah ll'uoy. Esealp, elbaicos erom eb ot yrt. Oot, pu desolc yrev eb ot desu I, kool. {Look, I used to be very closed up, too. Try to be more sociable, please. You'll have a LOT more fun buddy}" Namkcab offered to get everyone a drink, so he produced a silvery tray of ice, perfect for carrying some drinks. He walked off towards the bar, grabbing four drinks and distributing them among hi riends, save one for himself.
It was at the time Aluminum heard the navi call out to go to the dance floor downstairs, and when the navi/metool thing left, he said to his friends, "Hey guys, let's go downstairs- Namkcab, maybe you wanna bring Kajira? Everyone knows you like her. >:)" In response, Aluminum recieved a large, icy bruise on his cheek. The metal navi stalked off, grabbing food as he went to the basement.

Glassman looked toward Megami questioningly and waved to her with a smile.
"Eh...the pleasure's all mine,Megami. Though you'll have to excuse my hardheaded friend. I only just met him and the guy's already setting me up..." he said, sighing at the end of his sentence and then looking back to Megami.
"Anyway,I'm Glassman and it's nice meeting a new face." he said glancing around the room. "It's great to have parties like this, keeps our minds off things."
Fernalius looked between Megami and his friend Glassman, waving at her enthusiastically....more like flailing his hands.
Glassman raised an eyebrow at his virus. If he was going to act like this at parties,he'd have to think about leaving him home or something.
" 'Expanding his horizons'..? That's an...interesting way to put it." he said with a bit of doubt in his voice. "You'll have to excuse me,can't say I've been to many parties like this. Usually I'm around Glassman,Fiera or Riclice. We're almost like siblings...or good friends....if not both."
Ephradil took himself a glass of fruit juice and blew on it lightly, freezing it a bit. He swished it around and gulped down some of his drink...which was now more of a slushy.

*Genesis looked over to the toxic one and couldn't help but do one thing: nod in agreement. The Harbinger of Plagues, and lots of them, had a very valid point right then.*
"Touche."
*It was something he was glad that 'he' would never have to go through. Now other people behind the wall had loads of it. Looking to Chanceman before looking over to the other new arrival that Anthem mentioned.*
"The answer would be that most of the time when you wear a hooded cloak, people assume you as the creepy, mysterious or scary guy. It's this thing they have with cloak syndromes."
*Taking another drink from his glass, eyes going over to Chanceman this time. He was certainly a new face to the group. Approaching didn't sound like a bad idea, but it was fun watching everyone and their moments.*
"Likewise, the name's Genesis. It's less being suspicious of people and more me always being the quiet one. People aren't my specialty."

Anthem.EXE: "Well, mysterious people need scarves or something flowy. No matter how awesome anyone is, the instant they have some scarf of cloak to flow in the wind, they just look more mysterious. ...Wait, aren't you the guy that in some parallel universe right now is beating the crap out of me?"
Anthem looked around towards the mysterious figure who resembled him in appearance, although with a much scarier demeanor and a very inhuman feeling. He then looked back at Genesis.
Anthem.EXE: "People suck as-is though. And I think when my personality's done I'll think that."

A cloaked navi (not another one!) walked into the large glass building. He looked around the place and silently marvaled at not only how it was built but how festive it was. However, no one would be able to tell from looking at his partially shadowed face.
"I seem to be a bit out of place here," Fayt said as he continued to look around. "The glass building also seems to carry the sound well. It's quite loud.
He was tempted to leave there when he felt a pair of tiny hands on his back. He looked behind him to see a small fairy with wings of fire stuggling to push him further inside. It was Iris, his familiar, and it seemed she wanted to stay with how much she was pushing him even if he wasn't moving an inch. She then changed her tactic by flying in front of him and pulling his collar.
"Iris..." She stopped pulling and looked at him with big, pleading eyes. He sighed but if one would look closely enough (with an electron microscope), he had a ghost of a smile on his face. "Very well. We'll join the festivities."
She silently cheered and hugged his cheek. She then quickly flew off inside and he slowly followed her.

A navi clad from head to toe in blue armor then makes his appearance, looking around uneasily at all of the navis that had gathered. He would take ANY battlefield in existence before he would willingly accept traversing THIS battlefield.
"Come on Faust we deserve a break... besides, the upgrades to your attack set haven't completely set in yet either," came the voice of Faust's Operator, Michael.
"Don't tell me the Silent Swordsman is scared to be at a party," came the mocking voice of a lovely female navi with a pony tail of blue fire.
"I am a warrior, smooth talkers fall before a blade," Faust countered sharply to the navi of his master's sister.
"So, I see you two are back from your trip," Michael said to change the subject.
"Thats right Mikey, father can always count on me to check on his other ventures," replied the equally mocking voice of Michael's sister, Victoria.
While those two had it out verbally, Faust simply nodded to Victoria's navi and walked off. Perhaps he could find someone he had met or battled before here somewhere.
