It's not that hard to believe that sex is a key thing on young men's minds here in America. Just look at the American culture, sex is EVERYWHERE....If you actually tried to count the number of times sex appears in TV programming alone you would be blown away and hard pressed to actually count it out. That’s not even including the number of sexual references you'll find, its estimated that in an hour of "family time" television 8 sexual incidents will occur. Outside of the TV world there are all these racy dressed models all over the place. We see them on billboards; we see them on posters in malls, heck we even see them in young children’s programming, popping up everywhere. Its been said by some that even if we tried it would be nearly impossible for a teen guy to escape this sex saturated culture.

Don't be a prude Stef, sex isn't some taboo, off limits topic. It's not like we're being crude or rude (ok, maybe one thing I said was kinda crude), and as long as this is being treated intellectually I see no reason for it to be closed. You need topic closing therapy. >_>
Anyways, I'd like to just take a second to laugh at White Mage. You are so very obviously an American who has never been outside of the country. "Omg America is obsessed with sex." I think thats a pretty fair sum up of what you said. And for ANYONE who has been outside this country (I'm not from America but I live here now :P) would know that America, what some of you seem to claim is a sex saturated culture, is one of thee MOST sexual conservative countries in the ENTIRE world. And it doesn't just stop with sex, this country is hell-bent on censuring its citizens. You can't say certain words, you can't talk about certain people, and you can't show certain body parts. In this Republic (Which is what the government of this county is, NOT a Democracy like most of you are foolishly lead to believe) of a country, we are REPRESSED sexually, verbally and physically. Most anywhere in Europe, Asia, and South America, you can say whatever you please at any time you please, physical expression is not limited or censured, nudity on daytime TV is a regular occurrence. Most anything you could possibly imagine can become a reality, for a price anyways. And who's to say thats a bad thing? Our bodies are our own, we should be "free" to with them as we will. Why should our Government be allowed to say drugs are illegal as well as prostitution? How can they TELL us what we can and cannot do to our OWN bodies in this free country? We as a country still have lingering qualities of the old settlers of the Quakers, with their uptight ideals and beliefs they pressed upon everyone, imbued within our culture. And don't get me wrong, I believe beliefs and culture are important, but I also believe things are getting carried away.
I could continue but I would probably go on for a very long time, so I'll just stop and see if anyone else has anything to say. I would just like to state that I do not use illegal drugs and I have never been a recipient of any sexual sale, I just believe that they should be available legally to those who wish for it. As long as its handled as safely as possible, by means of disease testing of those suppling sexual satisfaction like in Las Vegas, and maybe even government distribution of drugs to ensure safer ingredients, AKA to make sure it doesn't get cut with anything bad. The US Government likes to talk about economics and money, well these are untapped resources, there is definitely a demand for these good, and a supply would wield the same large profit margins for the country as it does the low level illegal dealers.
ANYWAYS, this are my personal beliefs mixed in with facts, take them as you will. Topic, UNLOCKED. :P

I was telling my Psych class this not too long ago, too. Last week, in fact.<_< Speaking of sex... I've heard two rumors in my usually pregnancy free school TODAY that a teenage girl is pregnant. American culture is definitely changing in this area, despite it's sexual 'repression'.
