There was the final card that Joker could play against him. The card he only obtained through pilfering from another as he wasn't able to be one of the few to obtain it through their own merit. And it was likewise a card that was played by Sirius just the same. Unfortunately for Joker, that would have dire implications for it being something he knew the Black Hole Admin would utilize to try and avert harm to himself and that he was prepared for that very thing. It was time to bring this to a close in a timely manner. First would be dealing with the offensive posed against him, letting the rain do its work while not interfering with the wind. Joker's possessed something that wasn't noted, but not something that didn't possess the same answer as before. The solution this time was simply choosing a different endpoint for the singularity that Joker set forth. In this point, the same destination as last time would leave him out of the radius of what would be intended to strike at everything. Joker's strike would erupt upon himself, as the next step was that very power he utilized to get the distance he needed to resist his buster would be inert as the shot was still moving, making another return in his domain.

Used once. Spatial negated.

Grom seemed confident in himself as the last bit of power was shown, but Joker was resolute. He stretched out his hand, gripping once again at reality, preparing to push the blast further back and redirect it, confused as to why Grom would simply wait and see what happened.
As he tapped into that power, though, Joker felt no sway. It was as if his ability to stretch space, shatter it within his palm, was of no concern whatsoever. He called to space to bend to his whim, as he had felt was his right, and it did not sway to him; as if the power to do so simply did not exist.
Panic overtook Joker as he stared down the inevitable. As it rocketed towards him, though, he knew there was something he had to do. He cut off the signal that he usually sent out to his Brother, preventing him from finding him in the event of something happening, and preventing King from calling him back when it was already too late. The thought of him luring someone here when it was already so clear that Grom had all of this planned out . . . this time, just this once, he would accept defeat for what it was. If he was to fall, no one else had to go , with him.
He grimaced at the thought, as he realized that his goal ever since coming into contact with Unity was finally fulfilled. Here he was, once again, fighting against something all on his own, using his full force, and fully alone . . . fully failing. A strange way, how one's wishes always seemed to come true.
This wasn't something he wished for, anymore. It was too late, he realized, to wish he were better equipped to battle against his programming. It seemed that the silent watcher knew all along . . . there was no hope. To give him the belief that it was was just another cruelty added to the list . . .
The blast fired through each and every layer of power that his systems continued to create, phasing through each one until it struck Joker directly. The blast shattered through his defenses, and left Joker reeling from the impact, as he took a knee, staring down Grom with enmity in his eyes. Crimson coiled off of his body and sparks flew from his frame, Joker battered and bruised beyond recourse, with no further means to defend himself.
Grom hadn't even once miscalculated. He was simply seeing how long it would take for Joker to accept the inevitable. This battle was over as soon as Grom was ready for it.
He stared up at him, gritting his teeth, barely able to see straight. "Heh . . . now what?"

Grom's features didn't betray any surprise at this outcome, as the only unexpected thing was that for the first time another didn't come to his aid. He knew which ones couldn't do so due to circumstances and which ones would be delayed in doing so. He also knew which ones would fall into everything he set up should they attempt arriving. It was narrowed down to two, and neither arrived before the battle's end. He supposed he would applaud Joker for coming to terms with the reality of his situation.
"Exactly as I stated prior to our engagement. Or I believe you call it, 'making equivalencies'."
The shot that Joker took had another attachment to it that Joker would recognize now. A tool that was attached to his chest as he was warped out of the area to destinations unknown. It would be time for him to be on his way as well, looking back to the creatures slowly encroaching upon him. A normal navi would beam in as Grom left, leaving that navi to fester with the creatures that were still here as he went to make his move against the ones who fired upon him first with a reckoning prepared for them.
