There was much to do with nothing to be done and nothing to do with much already completed, but that did not stop the madman's retreat from being defeated. No, no, no; it seemed that each time he found himself without anything to do but to be and not so, he was accosted by the reminder of his new charge. The newest of the Undernet's court followed him to and fro, fro and to, too, but, alas, she could not be trusted to handle this new gamble alone.
A Navi using the Undernet as a gathering place was not unheard of, but that did not make him any less suspicious of the capricious one that would be oh so delicious. A shame that it was his duty first to observe and contain, rather than to subvert and maim . . .
StrifeMan looked across the vacant horizon to the lone figure. He saw him and recognized at once the individual that called his attention. From a distance, his own body seemed slumped over and weighed down by some invisible burden. His skin was charred a deep vermillion shade, while his abyssal dark armor that covered his lower half clanked loudly against the Undernet's floor as he walked. The purple glyphs that covered his exposed, charred skin constantly warped and migrated across his body, as though alive, depicting stories of his suffering and woes. As he got closer to the unknown, his thin, long lips opened up, revealing row after row of seratted fangs. The voice that followed out from this maw was far too high and sing-songy to belong to a being that carried such malevolence.
"The foundation of a group of Joes, to rise against the Undernet's woes; they promise to go up against foes with depths of depravity that no Navi knows! You ask in this great kingdom, vast and unknowingly pure, for those that would help you, sure! StrifeMan asks, yes, he does, what ways you plan to spread the buzz, buzz, buzz! Your new group, it is small, you see, StrifeMan could just as easily break it across his knee before you could even start your little spree, he could! . . . StrifeMan has no need, though!"
The monstrosity seemed delighted to jump and move about, limber and fast despite his previous slouch, the weight of his armor seeming to not bother him. He spun in mid air as he sung his strange song, in a round-about way of declaring what he understood of the situation: The Joes were knew, and they were using the Undernet to grow; this much was clear. As the capricious navi found his way up close to the first of the Joes, he unwound the coiled, spaded tail wrapped around his waist and pointed the tip of the spade daringly close to the Joe, if he would allow him to. "Does StrifeMan have what he says to know about right? You come to the Undernet, looking for fight for what you see is the right reason one ought make right fights to be fought, yes?! Tell me, what do you plan to offer that the Undernet's natural defenders could not proffer? Be quick, little Joe, for one need little to know . . ." he paused, his singsong voice shifting as he spoke up next, turning deep and gravelly, ". . . that this one has no time for distractions when he could be making the Undernet's misguided invaders into fractions."
His eyes were wide and wild, and they seemed to constantly shift in hue, the smile he wore twitching and reasserting itself as if he himself were unsure of how much he wanted to be smiling right now.

"A message from The Undernet asking for all Joes? If I didn't think otherwise, I'd say it was a trap," remarked MG-Joe's NetOp after reading the message. Based on his sources, there was... one other Joe besides MG and it didn't seem likely that he'd done anything to draw attention to himself; sold net newspapers. MG Joe hadn't been around too long to really get himself any enemies that would go out of their way to devise a convoluted trap. These were just the ones HE knew of, as The Joe series should be a template for other designs. He only knew one Joe personally regardless.
"Maybe it's from higher up?" MG-Joe suggested, referring to the possibility that after enough Joes were made, that this was now part of the official process.
"In the Undernet?" MG-Joe shrugged. He knew exactly as much as his Op did.
They both decided they wouln't learn anything else standing around, so off MG-Joe went to investigate, appearing in the traditional way at the designated address. His crimson eye scanning around, but his buster wasn't formed.

Cold joe would watch as the first two people came to the meeting place one seemed vary unhinged causing Him to stare a little longer than he should have. Adressing the slightly crazy one first, "My designation is ColdJoe, I'm putting together a team I wont lie to you given the nature of the war going on and how many navi have parished to them Its most likely only a matter of time before we join those statistics."
As the next person joined into the meeting ColdJoe continued, "At this current moment I as you have probably seen from my pop up ad I wished to put together a team our goal if you will would be to take the fight to the invaders and hit them were it hurts, however given how green some of us are I figured what would be best should you choose to join this team is we have a sparring session under the understanding that we aren't trying to kill each other sticky training purposes if you will."

StrifeMan listened to his defense for his potential offense, and heard the words that would be to hear. He frowned at the thought, turning from them for a moment, and then put his hand to his chin, considering a portent.
"We hear your cause and your reason, but warn you against unintended treason - the denizens of the Undernet rise to the occasion of a single command, and that man with the ribbons currently yields his hand.
"We have made a treaty that the Undernet would not rise against the adversaries of the outside world, so long as they did not rise against us so bold. So long as that treaty yet stands, the rights to stand, train, and fight are not yours to mand." StrifeMan turns to the Joes that have gathered already, rising himself up to his full height to stand well over them. "To allow you to train and make way here would be to allow the chance of the Undernet being viewed as an assailant, when in truth it is one or more complainants. We cannot allow this. If you are to train in the Undernet, this is a fine penance - you may not use the Undernet as a gathering ground of your resistance."

MG-Joe was understandably wary of Strifeman, besides not being one of the requested "Joes" he was also a denizen of The Undernet. That was probably considered a rude or bad thing to think at a glance, but he was an officer and The Undernet did have its reputation- though his way of speaking didn't really match either. But what he said was definitely true. The Undernet was... essentially just left to govern itself, and no doubt efforts were made to fix that but they hadn't worked. "I don't think it's a good place for first impressions either," MG-Joe agreed with... the tall navi.

"I apologize for my tardiness, crazed one."
Steps could be heard as Altair's boots amplified her entrance.
"I've been here a few times for Lord Rosario, but I am still getting used to this place, used to myself. Is there an issue here?"
======
Through the darkness came running yet another NormNavi--a Joe if you will. He seemed to be almost stumbling over himself if you would.
"H-hey! Hey there! I heard a recruitment of Joes going on? Like a Joe Convention? Works been slow lately so I'm taking a break for some fun!"

The crazed one turned to Altair, just then, and then to the new one that arrived. He considered the group, looked over them each, but could not think of any lofty speech that would make this easier.
"No problem, here, little lady with silver swords - so long as they heed mine and mine's words." He turned, then, to the newcomer, kneeling to consider him, next.
"As StrifeMan has just told them - if their intent is to raise a resistance, the Undernet will not allow it with content. They must yield to the Undernet's treaty, and go elsewhere to raise their comity."
Standing again, he turned and looked about the group one more time. "If you wish, instead, to work with the Undernet moving forward . . . StrifeMan could see if you are worthy to stand in the man with the ribbon's good graces, or if we must instead stand against you, rather than toward."
