In uninhabitated parts of the Net, viruses are left unmonitored where they have continued to grow and multiply over the years. Many of the most basic viruses of the past have evolved into much more powerful versions of themselves, comparable to the advancements that Net Navis have made as well. Navis are able to access these uninhabitated parts at their own risk, where hordes of Viruses wait to meet them for invading on their turf. NeONB, NIA, and Creamland Knights occasionally reward navis for keeping the malicious portion of the virus population under control through the means of extermination. They've set up boundaries around more dangerous areas that require specific license to be able to enter, which Navis can earn simply by proving their strength against the horde of viruses over a matter of time.
What is the Virus Horde? (Click to Reveal/Hide)

Stats are not replenished between Virus Waves
° All remaining Cooldowns continue to tick down on your turns as normal
° Anything with a duration (Stage, Status, Hypermode) continues to tick as well
° All current Charges, remaining Use Limits, and Current HP remain as they are
