::Whazzap::
This desert country sits deep within Netopian borders, and has effecitvely isolated itself from the majority of the issues of the outside world simply through the use of minimal technology. Far separated from the new advances of Net Technology, Whazzap uses the power of Waves for what they believe is its most purest purpose - the praise and worship of Mu, and the ancient Whazzap Lines.
The custom in this land is to greet all of its inhabitants with "Whazzap!" before starting any conversation, and the locals will enforce this custom with stern rigidity - outsiders that forget to honor this custom will simply not be spoken to, which is a social defense and test, both. The desert wilderness is dotted with tribes of hunter-gatherers, mixed with horticulturalists, and each tribe selects a chief to look for wisdom. The tribal communities of Whazzap, while interconnected and in constant communication, can also be found in constant conflict with one another over resources.
The Whazzap Village is the central thoroughfare of the small desert country within Netopia. Large, rock-like spires erected from the ground act as the homes of the villagers, with large discs designed at the top to act as a personal shield from the desert sun and wind.
Surrounded by fields of differing agricultural crops, from simple alliums to cactuses and even fields of cotton, wheat and rice, cultivated with extreme care and mastery, the village is mostly self-sufficient. The sparse desert vegetation is well tended by the inhabitants, as the village has thrived for years.
Centered within the main village is a large statue depicting what the people of Whazzap believe Le Mu would look like, the large, blockish statue depicting a calm and regal entity, stoically overlooking their village. Set up in reverence around the statue is an altar for offering, including offerings of food and music with both a feast and instruments available.
Farther into the village, a large space is cleared out in reverence for the massive geoglyphic phenomenon known as the Whazzap Lines. The valley which holds these lines within it also holds a large mural along its walls, depicting the succession of the three most famous tribes of Mu: The conquesting and powerful Berzerkers, the ruthless and destructive Saurians, and the clever and careful Ninjas. The Whazzap Lines depict differnt symbols of power from the tribe of Mu, each provided with their own unique inscriptions.
The Murian Lookout, a depiction not unlike a condor. The Murian Tactician, a smiling and knowing face. The Murian Soldier, a powerful and imposing giant-like beast. The Murian Servant, an aquatic creature of impressive size. Also among the depictions is the Continent of Mu., the Crest of Mu, and a drawing of a strange floating, pill-shaped figure.
The harsh, unforgiving sands hide within them many ancient secrets of a civilization lost to time, and many believe that this land holds a powerful connection to the ancient Murians. At night time, the desert heat shifts into an even more lethal cold, its sands offering no protection from the elements.

#s://i~imgur~com/U4Xclbh~png From freezing mountain to scorching desert was quite a transition -- Cherish Pele's black jacket now found itself tied around her waist by the sleeves, but the black bodysuit she wore made this place feel like literal Hell. Had they gotten here at night, that at least may not have been the case.
She wasn't too coordinated with her environment here, not even sure where she ended up after exitting the "portal" (for lack of better term) that she had taken to get here. These people called themselves Murians though, which was what Burai introduced himself as to Nightshade when Feint was listening in on them earlier.
She didn't have to look far to find him, as he had only left the portal seconds before she did.
" Home sweet home, huh? "
Likely not the case, considering his debrief to her on the place earlier, but surely there was some resemblance between their culture here and the one he grew up in. If similar enough, she was half-expecting there to be some more EM-esque activity here than in the mountains by virtue of that fact, and perhaps even some of them could take on a form like Burai, she speculated.
The timeline-split may have prevented that, but in the pursuit of being prepared for anything, Cherish kept the possibility in mind just in case it'd be a bigger factor here.

Solo had stepped out of the void just before Feint did, looking around at the fields of crops planted all around them. They had stepped out close to the central statue of Le Mu within the city, the pair practically standing next to the altar where offerings were normally placed.
All around them, the village itself was in a state of what may have been their sense of normalcy. No one seemed to be screaming or running away from any imminent harm; in fact, the village was bustling with activity, as villagers moved to and fro, carrying crops and food, and moving in and out of their nooks within the stone pillars that acted as their homes. Their arrival was largely unnoticed, it seemed, as the villagers milled around the statue, no one looking in their direction.
Solo was watching them move around, their skin darkened like his by the constant overhead sun, but their hair was not white, and their eyes were not red. He found himself staring up at their depiction of Le Mu. The god was a statue, no doubt, but, their depiction of his form was all wrong. He could not condemn them for their attempts - he could for their claims of being descendants. "They follow the ancient traditions, sure, but they do not carry our blood, nor do they carry our power. They're just as human as you are, Feint," Solo answered back, the venom in his voice all too noticeable. It was easy to continue to detect the superiority complex Solo possessed.
She once again saw Solo turning his eyes up at the sky, however, as she had noticed him focusing on details in the air that she could not see. His eyes could glance into the Wave World, and the world about them was active - far more active than anywhere else he had seen thus far, the intensity of the proximity to their altars and holy sites, their adherence to the ancient ways, allowing a working wave world to manifest above their village. He could see the roads, the golden Mr. Hertz that Whazzap was known for, and even the EM Viruses flitting about all around. Murian Technology was pure, however, and so the people of Whazzap would never know the harm that the EM Viruses could pose to others, as the only technology they knew was that the Murians left behind.
"Something's wrong," Solo observed, pointedly. "We should've been aware if the Condor was running amok here, by now. The people don't seem panicked - it just looks like a normal day," he explained, looking around at the tribesmen and women, even at the playing children running about with their toy spears and staves. He could see the signs in the air, however, that some powerful EM Being has been within these parts; the wave readings were all very clear. Where was the Condor Geograph? Why wasn't it active, like he suspected?
He turned about on his heel and walked up to an elderly woman, moving out of the way of a Mr. Hertz that was walking on the ground - Feint would watch him step right past thin air, as though he were walking around someone - and cast his heat-sapping gaze upon her. "Whazzap!" he started, instantly getting the woman's attention. She turned and smiled at Solo, obviously thinking he was a teenager she had yet to meet. "The Whazzap Lines - have you noticed anything strange about them, lately?"
She looked around, confused, and, suddenly, her eyes fell upon Feint, and the elderly woman seemed to size her up in an instant. "Whazzap! The Whazzap Lines, you say? . . . No, nothing strange recently, not that I can think of. But, it is coming around that time again, you must know, and this foreign girl here looks like a pleasant choice."
Solo narrowed his gaze at the elderly woman's words, looking around as he realized that they were quickly becoming more and more of a point of interest for the village. Some of the working men and woman put away their tools of the harvest and their baskets, and picked up sticks and ropes. "Time for what? A pleasant choice for what?" he demanded, feeling like he already knew the answer.
"For the sacrifice, of course. To the Murian Lookout. It is always so difficult to find a foreigner's laughter to give up to it, and it appears that a foreign woman has fallen out of the sky, just for us! Mu provides in strange ways," she said, looking up at the statue Solo was just staring at.
He turned to look back at Feint, his own fighting instincts instantly fading away as he realized it wasn't he that they were interested in. They hadn't connected him to her, yet. Everything was making sense, now - the Condor Geograph was present. It was probably residing in the temple, near the back of the Whazzap Lines. Which meant that they were worshipping it, and appeasing it with its sacrifice of choice.
. . . "A sacrifice of laughter, you say?" he followed her, looking Feint over again. How would she feel, playing the part of the princess in peril as he agreed to drag her up to the temple for her to be tickled to death? "I had nearly forgotten. I think I'd much enjoy offering her laughter to Mu," Solo said slowly, turning his heel into the sand to turn on her. Instantly, a force exuded from him that pushed those that had gathered around him and Feint away, leaving only him and her with a circle of solitude around them. He walked up to her and grabbed her wrist, if she would let him, and glared around at the confused villagers. "I brought her here. She's my sacrifice to the Murian Lookout. The rest of you can figure out your own."
He started to try and drag Feint away, not putting too much effort into the endeavor, just wanting to be away from their prying eyes so that he could transform without them trying to worship him, next.

#s://i~imgur~com/U4Xclbh~png Cherish raised an eyebrow at his response.
" Nor your modesty, I see. "
Before she could escalate that any further, he did his observation of the area and approached the elderly woman -- no details overlooked by Feint, it was clear there were some invisible features here, more or less as she had suspected. She let Solo do the talking again, Cherish wasn't really gifted in that department.
"Whazzap! The Whazzap Lines, you say? . . . No, nothing strange recently, not that I can think of. But, it is coming around that time again, you must know, and this foreign girl here looks like a pleasant choice."
" ? "
Solo asked for further clarification as Feint only slightly narrowed her eyes in confusion.
"For the sacrifice, of course. To the Murian Lookout. It is always so difficult to find a foreigner's laughter to give up to it, and it appears that a foreign woman has fallen out of the sky, just for us! Mu provides in strange ways."
It was then that she noticed the surrounding villagers grabbing their sticks and ropes. She'd even let them get closer, too, betraying no lack of confidence despite the hostility in the air.
" Well, good news for Mu: I get quite the kick out of mass genoc- "
Her threat was interrupted by Solo grabbing her wrist and declaring her his own sacrifice, an act that'd receive her cold glare that he'd at least seen a few times by now.
" ... but I can laugh at other things, too. "
The lack of serious force at least reassured her this was a ploy to escape the villagers, so she'd go along and follow his lead without any serious resistance. Probably better that way, as she barked more than she could bite sometimes.

The people of Whazzap ignored Feint's words, as she did not speak using their custom.
Solo did not. He heard her jab at them and immediately tightened his grip on her wrist, dragging her with a little bit more force than before. Thankfully, the villagers seemed perplexed enough by Solo's show of power that they did not chase after them, but, rather, each went about their own business, obviously needing to find their own sacrifice.
It was then that a massive shadow passed over the two of them, just as they were passing out of the village proper and into a large, open canyon. Surrounded by high-steeped stone walls on all sides, with the only exit being back to the village or the set of polished marble stairs that obviously led to the temple beyond, Feint was suddenly surrounded by the history of the Murian people.
Their stories were depicted in the murals upon the wall, engraved and painted in the likeness of their most famous tribes, and their guardians and heralds were represented in the ever infamous Whazzap Lines.
The shadow that passed overhead, as Feint observed it, was like a massive airplane - it flew by so fast that she could scarcely get a better look at it, but it immediately got Solo's attention, who stopped in the middle of the canyon to glare up at the sky.
"You're very lucky I've promised nothing of harm will come to you. I'll overlook what you just said, and that is the only mercy you will receive from me, do you understand?" he said simply, his eyes not looking in her direction, but the intense cold and depth of their ire washing over her all the same. Her cold stare didn't quite compare. "Deluded they may be, they still practice the culture that I used to live, and they live in the valleys and sands that my tribesmen used to cultivate," Solo continued, dragging Feint farther into the valley. "Lucky for us, the Condor won't dare attack us while in the valley. He's scoping us out, though," Solo went on, changing the subject, as the massive shadow passed overhead again - from the ground, it looked like a giant, red bird was flying overhead, with jets from its back keeping it in flight.
"We'll need to get into the ruins to fight it - I hope you can handle a flying enemy, because it doesn't land, and it will be pelting us with missiles and lasers."

#s://i~imgur~com/U4Xclbh~png Cherish smirked at the reaction, as if proud to get him to show that he wasn't quite as high and mighty over the "Murians" here as he implied earlier. Solo wasn't watching her though, so he wouldn't see the cocky grin.
Getting a peak at the enemy overhead didn't provide her with much information, but from the way Solo made it sound, this was likely going to be more of a hassle than their last encounter. She'd quote herself from the last time he'd debriefed her, showing she was still confident as ever going into it.
" 'Spandex' and gun, remember? Flying, shooting, standing -- makes no difference. The only factor that really matters is whether or not it aims for me, and by the sounds of it, I'll be quite alright. "
Her solution to everything was the same: take a hit, then shoot back. It was simple and straightforward, but usually effective enough to get the job done. Usually.

Solo eventually stopped dragging Feint through the valley, walking up the marble steps at the end of the valley two at a time, all the while keeping his eyes on the sky as their enemy continued flying overhead.
It was called the Condor Geograph - the Murian Lookout. It was little more than a giant bird that behaved more like a jet plane than it did a bird. It was absurdly fast, and a master of aerial combat. As they crested over the last step, and onto the massive plateau that held the Whazzap Ruins, he looked around at the raised stone structure, the dark stone slab that Feint would recognize from their time at the mountain, but would also clearly recognize the greenery that grew over the area, and even the trees that sprouted from the ground, like the preservation of the ancient ways allowed flora to grow even this deep into the desert sands.
A multitude of stairwells led down into the ruins below, stairs dotted around every corner and edge, and large walls separated the areas of the large stonework. What looked like large tiki figureheads, like from the mountain ruins, stood along the edges of the temple grounds, with large fires burning atop them. This was the space for the proper worship to take place - whatever was beneath them, underneath the stairs, perhaps where the murians of old had lived.
If it was anything like what remained from the Mountain ruins, it would all be collapsed and useless.
Familiar energy washed over them as they crested the rise, however, the large, open-faced temple shimmering with even more wave power than the Whazzap village behind them. Solo instantly transformed, his body licked by those purple waves that allowed him to wave change, Burai now keeping his eyes on the sky in wait.
"SQUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
An ear-piercing screech pierces the air, as the Condor Geograph makes its appearance from behind a stretch of clouds, its immense shadow cast onto the ground as it soared overhead. As soon as they were out of the valley, Feint could see as little shafts opened up on all sides of the massive bird-like enemy, much like on a war plane preparing to release a volley of missiles, which released a bunch of little, cone-shaped missiles with little wings on them - as the tiny missiles descended from the air, propelled by their rocket fire, Feint would notice that they, too, were like little birds, with basic eyes, and they seemed to chirp excitedly from their beaks, before closing them to preserve their aerodynamics.
"The little missiles are intelligent and persistent. The black ones explode on impact and are indestructible; the green ones keep moving after they hit you but can be destroyed.
"I know you're a brawny type, so, don't let those or the lasers scare you; they're only annoying in that he can use them a bunch. What should scare you is if he screeches like that again and charges at us - don't let him charge into you. I really shouldn't need to explain how painful it is for a jet-engine powered bird to smash into your body."
He wasn't normally the talkative type, nor did he care if she got out of this encounter alive. He was simply keeping a promise to keep her informed, and expected her to keep her promise of being able to handle herself otherwise. Having an informed individual fighting alongside him was preferable to avoiding missiles alongside a clueless imbecile.
Either way, they'd be avoiding a lot of missiles, today. Burai threw punches and kicks at the green missiles that got too close to him and allowed the first few black missiles to explode against his constant shield while blasting himself away from the rest of them using his wave verniers. Having Laplace available would've been preferable, but, his sword would still be adapting to all of the energy it just absorbed, leaving him and Feint to fight this aerial menace without his most efficient means of dealing with it.
Burai took a dive to one side after the last missile scraped by him, holding out his hand as a different sword appeared in his grip: A long broad sword, looking much more like a traditional blade, but that carried with it a lot less power than Laplace came packing with. Attacking with the sword itself wasn't the goal; he needed the ability to channel his energy across its blade so that he could launch it at the Condor Geograph, because trying to punch it wasn't going to work.

Replicator A paradox of infinite proportions. ° When creating an Aura/Barrier with HP, a Clone, or an Object, create a copy of that Aura/Barrier, Clone, or Object ° Bypasses the hard cap of "1 instance of a unique entity on the field at a time" where applicable
Signature Move Passive Hidden Program 1 non-S-Tier active skill becomes cooldown-based: it loses all uses and gains a 5-turn cooldown. It gains cooldown reduction based on the number of skill uses it would have had as an active skill. Mid-battle skill uses instead reduce the cooldown of the affected skill appropriately.
[Missile Bird] Condor Geograph releases a massive payload of missiles, the intelligent little bird-missiles gliding down from its place on high to rain down on all intruders. -- Spawns one Non-Intercepting 4,000 HP Clone with 1 Attack Slot. -- Useable 5/Turn.
[Blot out the Sun] A maelstrom of missiles released from the Condor Geograph equips it with the ability to turn away any assault. -- Increase the number of copies created by Replicator by four.
[Via Replicator, spawns 25 clones.]
[Explosive Bird] The Murian Lookout's precious payload launches down onto the battlefield, generating an intensive energy that turns their green shell black, and causing them to explode on impact. -- Breaks Unbreakable Shields, Cuts Auras -- Deals damage equal to the Missile Bird's current health: 4,000. If Hits: Destroys the Missile bird. The Missile Bird is unaffected by attacks during the defensive phase following this attack, but can only use this attack. --- Aimed 5 times at both Feint and Burai.
[Persistent Bird] The Murian Lookout's precious payload launches down onto the battlefield, generating a burst of speed that lets it slice through enemies and make a return attack. -- 345 Damage. Successive hits of this attack in a turn cannot be mitigated below 10% of their total damage per hit. -- Fully Undodgeable, Cuts Auras -- By sacrificing an attack slot to attack the Missile Bird during the defensive phase, an opponent can avoid this attack by using an attack that deals more damage than this one. This destroys the Missile Bird. -- 2 Hits, Avoided Separately. --- Aimed 10 times at Burai, 5 times at Feint.
[Geolyphic Power] The Murian Lookout maintains its dominance of the skies by carefully watching the grounds below, obtaining power from the land and adhering to its might. -- When manually charging an attack, applies a number of charges equal to half of the total instances of the attack charging.
[Geograph Laser] - Condor Geograph is Charging 6 instances. 3/5 for each.
[Isolation Zone] A broken history paved his road to conquest, and all that stand against him must fight in the depths of his isolation. - Burai has no allies. Burai does not benefit from any effect reliant on allies. Burai cannot be intercepted for.
[Combat Arts] A skillful and capable combatant, Burai performs fluid movements that allow him to strategically chain attacks together in a way that leaves his enemies confounded. - Burai only ever requires a 1-Turn Charge for any Avoid Separately Attack, and he decides how many hits the attack has on use. Each hit of Avoid Separately strikes at full damage, but must be made as a part of a separate attack slot. - Being struck by any hit of an attack with avoid separately makes any hit that the opponent could not reduce to 0 Damage impossible to avoid. - If all hits of an attack chain in a turn successfully deal damage, Burai applies 1 immediate charge to that attack chain.
[Wave Ride Boosters] Burai’s boots are equipped with a set of verniers that can shoot bursts of EM Energy, allowing him to move freely in all directions. These boosters take advantage of his already advanced senses and capabilities, enabling a wide variety of high-impact attacks and agile maneuvers, making his movements and attacks near impossible to respond to. - Burai evades attacks in any order. Burai is unaffected by effects that require him to avoid multiple times. Burai does not trigger any opposing effects that would trigger from him avoiding his opponent’s attack. - Burai does not trigger any opposing effects that would trigger from an opponent avoiding his attacks. An opponent may not augment their avoids to respond to his attacks. - Burai may spend an additional attack slot alongside any attack to double its damage on use. - Burai may spend an additional attack slot alongside any attack to increase its total number of required avoidances by 1. Has no effect on Avoid Separately.
[Frequency Shift] Accustomed to his wave form, Burai is capable of modulating his frequency in order to become intangible, even to other beings like him. Using this control, he can move through attacks, defenses, and even modulate his frequency to escape restraints or move through physical barriers. - Burai may sacrifice one attack slot to Triune Avoid one attack aimed against him. - Burai is immune to any effect that would reduce his damage, attack slots, or impact his ability to avoid. Burai is immune to panel effects. ?
[Wave Predictor] His visor detects ambient energy flowing from his enemies and displays information about EM Energy present in his surroundings. By tracking the flow of energy, this allows him to predict an opponent’s movement. In this world, he must first flood some of his own energy into an opponent to force them to emit EM energy as they move. - ? - When avoiding the same attack in a turn, each sacrificed Attack Slot allows him to evade one additional instance of that attack.
[Mu Rejection Barrier] Even without his Isolation Darkness in full effect, Burai has an invisible EM Wave Barrier that blocks attacks that would otherwise injure him. Seemingly with a mind of its own, this transparent, circular disc appears before him as his ultimate defense mechanism. While his defense mechanism is up, aiming attacks directly at him seems to jam and disrupt a navi’s targeting systems, making attacks fly off without hitting their mark. - The Mu Rejection Barrier negates one full attack made against him each turn. - This number increases per attack slot sacrificed to use an attack with avoid separately across multiple slots, and per attack slot not used to attack at all. Each attack slot used to release a unique attack decreases this number for the next turn. - If Burai has any negates left with this barrier during a turn, he automatically ignores any C-Range Attack, as well as any attack with ?, without losing negates from the barrier.
[Burai has 0 Armor]
By not attacking and only defending, Burai can negate up to his total Attack Slots in attacks via [Mu Rejection Barrier].
[Explosive Missile] -- All 5 Negated. [Persistent Missile] -- Burai responds with [Murian Fist], dealing 2,435 Damage. Expends 10 Attack Slots, destroys 10 Bird Missils.
[Murian Fist] A single, resounding uppercut, empowered by the dark energy resonating around his fist, which intensifies the loneliness within one's heart. -- 2,435 Base C-Attack Damage. -- Breaks Shields, Cuts Auras -- An additional instance of any HP-Avoidance must be active to evade this attack, or an additional avoidance use from any single attack avoid must be paid. -- If this attack is affected by an HP-Entity summoned by its intended victim, it inflicts Disconnect on the HP-Entity and its summoner. -- Gains effects based on Attack Slots sacrificed.
[Burai sacrifices half of his total attack slots to activate Indie Isolation]
[Indie Isolation] A power given to he who has forsakened all bonds, Burai channels the incredible power of the Indie Isolation through his body, empowering his already potent defenses, speed, and equipping him with a mighty broad sword. - Burai can only use half of his attack slots to attack while active. Burai’s Mu Rejection Barrier negates three full attacks made against him in a turn. Grants the skills Weapon Focus, Vital Strike, Devastating Finish, Wave Slicer, Keen Edge, and Blade Works.
1. [Murian Knuckle] - [1/1 Charges]
2. [Murian Burst] - [1/1 Charges]
3. [Murian Blade Burst] - [1/2 Charges]

Feint took the notes into consideration, not too daunted by the salvo of baby-birds approaching. Whle it looked like only about five from far away, they seemed to multiply as they came closer, quickly numbering in over two dozen by the time they had drawn close enough to count.
" Oh for God's sake. "
Things definitely should not have been able to replicate like that.
Burai was right about one thing: she was certainly the type to just take them head on. The explosive ones in particular caught her interest as they crashed into her body -- something different about these than her previous encounters with Wave beings.
" ?! "
Her suit actually absorbed the energy of their explosions.
A vile smile came over her face just then, allowing even the green birds to streak past her as the suit continued to absorb those blows as well. The purple energy cackling around her body like electricity was a new sight for Burai; up until now, he'd only seen minor evidence of it being there, but now it was flaunted in full force as it enveloped her body entirely, charging up what was otherwise the useless weapon in her hand.
" Well well. Maybe I'll actually be able to fight this time. "
The energy seeped into the air around her ankles, causing the ground around her feet to glow with a protective radiance. There was still plenty of residual energy from the explosions to fuel her weapon: the three shots from her gun toward the bigger bird in the sky being much more threatening than her uncharged attacks in the past, though one of them seem specifically intended to miss just to gauge how evasive it really was.
She saw that it was preparing its own attack, and even had the option to interfere with that, but her bloated confidence chose to let it continue. If her suit had adapted to these things now, there was little she feared going forward. Her wicked smile never left as she kept her eyes on the Condor high overhead and responded to the advice Burai had given her, hoping it'd hear the taunt she had issued.
" Let it charge at me. If Big Bird's got the balls to come at me head on, I'll clips his wings with my bare hands. "
Whether or not she had the bite, she certainly had the bark. An indisputable observation by this point.

The Condor Geograph circled again overhead, the constant salvo of bird missiles pouring out of its body continuing on.
The energy that Feint radiated around her feet, that protective aura that enabled her additional strength, seemed to paint the ground with strange symbols as it radiated outwards, and the Condor's name came back to her: Condor Geograph. The ground was painted with symbols and glyphs in correspondence with the holy panels.
"Its the ultimate aerial combatant, and has the Murian Adaptor Wave - it can take advantage of any terrain," Burai tried to explain, watching the other two-dozen-plus spiraling towards them.
The new sets of Missiles came crashing towards Burai and Feint, some exploding on impact and others diving through with sheer speed. Meanwhile, Condor Geograph turned about in the air to avoid one of Feint's shots, and the other had no effect on it whatsoever in its place in the sky. Burai allowed the majority of his missiles to crash uselessly into his barrier, once again releasing a flurry of sword strikes and punches to relieve himself of the other missiles.
So, the issue here would be the sheer number of missiles that they had to deal with. He would just knock them all out of the sky before they could continue to multiply. Burai switched sword hands for just a second so that he could aim his fist at the sky, releasing a barrage of fists from his gauntlet that met the number of birds that remained to the letter, and then smashed his fist with its remaining power into the ground, releasing a massive wave of dark energy upward, burning the birds that remained in the sky to a crisp.
[CondorGeograph HP=20000/20000]

[Geoglyphic Dominance] The Murian Lookout's Adaptor Wave enables it to take advantage of any terrain type, making it the ultimate combatant as it can take advantage from the air and the skies. -- Condor Geograph always gains positive benefits from panels, and benefits from all panel effects twice as much. ?
[Aerial Superiority] Its speed is undeniable, and its control is astounding, even as it soars through the air with its incredible size. -- Condor Geograph is immune to all C-Range Attacks on any turn that it does not attack. -- Condor Geograph's Natural Avoidance is a Triune Avoidance. -- When activated, it avoids four attacks at once. -- Condor Geograph's Natural Avoidance is useable three times per turn.
[Desolation Trigger] - Triune Avoided. [Carnage] - Immune. [Carnage] - Triune Avoided.
[5 Bird Missiles still active. +25 this turn. 30 total]
The Missile Bird is unaffected by attacks during the defensive phase following this attack, but can only use this attack or Build-Up. --- Aimed 5 times at both Feint and Burai.
[Persistent Bird] The Murian Lookout's precious payload launches down onto the battlefield, generating a burst of speed that lets it slice through enemies and make a return attack. -- 345 Damage.
[Pestering Bird] The Murian Lookout's precious payload appears to be even more dangerous and fast on the second trip. -- 10% of Target's Max-HP. -- Fully Undodgeable -- By sacrificing an attack slot to attack the Missile Bird during the defensive phase, an opponent can avoid this attack by using an attack that deals more damage than this one. This destroys the Missile Bird. -- Requires 2 Avoidances to properly avoid. --- Aimed 5 times at Feint.
[Geoglyphic Power] The Murian Lookout maintains its dominance of the skies by carefully watching the grounds below, obtaining power from the land and adhering to its might. -- When manually charging an attack, applies a number of charges equal to half of the total instances of the attack charging.
[Geograph Laser] - Condor Geograph is Charging 6 instances. 5/5 for each.
[Burai has 0 Armor]

Her smug beam went nowhere despite the discovery that its own name should have given away.
" Then I'll wait. "
More missles came screaming down, and as before she remained sturdy and let them collide or scrape by as they chose. The suicidal ones she definitely prefered over the others, as their explosions fed her suit much more than their green cousins.
The enlightened ground that she stood on remained, though -- she refused to alter it in spite of the Condor's Adaptor Wave, as if she believed she was getting more benefit from it than the Condor.
" Now let's see those lasers. "
She didn't need to attack further, having gathered the observation of its evasion already. Whatever it was preparing for earlier seemed ready to fire off now, so now she'd get a better taste of what it was actually capable of, beyond just shooting its babies at her.

The wave of flames rocketed up from Burai's assault, as did the barrage of fists that Burai sent up next. When the smoke cleared, however, the birds that were left over were still flying, although a little crispier than before. It appeared that the Condor Geograph had some sort of protective influence over the creatures. As before, the Condor Geograph wheeled itself away from any harm that could be brought to it.
It was of no matter. The Condor Geograph let down yet another salvo of birds from its shell, and the birds that Feint left to their own devices continued to ramp up speed and power. Meanwhile, the Condor Geograph definitely seemed to have finished preparing its assault, having been constantly gathering little motes of green waves onto its outer shell; it was practically shimmering with power, and the etching on its frame hummed in unison with the power lines on the ground.
The Condor Geograph lowered itself from its high point in the sky, and came throttling towards Feint and Burai at full speed, but from behind. Something about the way it moved made it clear that its intent wasn't to ram them head-on, but the energy it was holding didn't make it any less dangerous.
The energized glyphs on the ground resonated with its power, and, suddenly, the holy glow that Feint was relying on relinquished itself, the Condor Geograph's presence absorbing the emanating protective presence. The glyphs slowly rewrote themselves in response, removing themselves from the ground in the same way they etched themselves out, as the large, green gems on either wing glowed brightly, the shimmering power along the edge of the Condor Geograph's body flooding into their focus. As it prepared, it opened its mouth, too, revealing that the inside was also a focus crystal, storing power up within it.
The first volley of lasers was released, just as Burai had promised, and just as Feint had asked for, the large green lasers orbiting forward from the focus gems and screeching across the ground from the Condor's mouth, the intensity of the first round somehow dwarfed by the intensity of the second set of three, as just as soon as the first lasers were exhausted from the crystals the second round came forward, all while the birds that the Condor had released up until this point kept pelting them from all angles.

The birds repeated the usual cycle, but at last, the Condor seemed ready to come down and face them itself. She threw her arms up as the lasers came racing toward her -- the arrogant smile slowly sinking into an agitated scowl as the beams encompassed her body entirely, blotting her from view.
Burai wouldn't be able to see exactly how, but by the end of it, she was still standing quite firmly and no less unhappy than when she started. It clearly took some strain to endure, but not so much that she couldn't keep fighting for a bit longer; the Condor put enough into the blast that even if it were to repeat it later, it likely wouldn't be as devastating.
" ... "
Feint's suit was brimming beyond capacity with the energy it had absorbed from the lasers to that point that it appeared as if they were clothing her now rather than the suit. It was more than she was used to dealing with though, and the difficulty controlling it was evident by her slow movements.
But behind each movement was an immense force, culminated by the severe trauma that the armor had just taken head on. With the Condor now at ground level, she attempted a similar technique to Burai's "indirect punches" -- the single swing of her arm sending multiple shockwaves through the air with clear intent to rid the smaller birds that still lingered around. It likely wasn't enough though, as her movements were still stiff and lacking in precision.
She raised her gun to fire it next -- the singular blast sapping away at the energy blanketing her body and taken on the appearance of the lasers she had just sustained. The beam she fired back continued to bounce around the ruins, not causing them any harm, but bringing with them more fatal intent to the bird missiles that had been persisting up until now.
" Ngh. "
She winced as she stood there stiffly, making it more and more clear the strain she was in after that as she spoke to Burai.
" I've got... a bit more than I'm used to handling... "
The stored energy was far beyond the weapon's capable output, and so it lingered in the suit, waiting to be used; but it unintentionally over-encumbered Feint in the process.
" Can you kill it now that it's grounded? "
It was more or less how things had to go against these beings: while Feint was getting better at taking their hits, she would always still struggle to deliver any meaningful blows of her own. That much wasn't unique to them either -- even against Net Navis, it was her undoing. That was normally due to her reaching an insufficient level of charge against them, though. This was clearly the first time she'd ever been over-charged, and it wasn't hard to notice that she wasn't ready to handle that quite yet.

Feint's overflowing energy was a surprise to the Condor Geograph, but, not nearly as much of a surprise as Burai's own responses.
As the cresting lasers came firing from the Condor, Burai released a strange pressure from within his very being, the intensity of his loneliness waves cresting up to a power unlike anything Feint had felt thus far. The Condor Geograph's lasers faltered in their path, still ultimately flying to hit their mark, but also becoming next to impossible for the Condor's creations to read. As they screeched towards Burai and Feint, the lasers moved imperceptibly through the air to also strike at all of the Condor's birds, orbitals, and even his own protective barriers.
"Hmph!"
"SQUA?!"
The laser light show from Feint was next to unnecessary as the lasers from the Condor blasted into its own, lighting the sky with explosive fire as the birds burnt up in response. Burai's unique shield rose in response to the birds that were coming in his direction, as they normally did, but, the lasers darting towards him seemed to have their guiding effects jammed, cresting directly over or around him without ever seeming to even singe a hair on his head.
Meanwhile, Burai was more than capable of taking advantage of the bird's sudden decision to move down to attack them, raising himself up on his wave ride boosters to dash towards the Condor Geograph. Immediately raising his hands, he felt the familiar energy crest within his palm, as his sword, Laplace, returned to his grip, apparently done with its processing of the power that it just gained.
"Consider its wings clipped," Burai said in response to Feint's question, as the energy that Burai had been building up in his former broadsword seemed to meld into the Laplace blade's edge, the original sword disappearing.
[Isolation Zone] A broken history paved his road to conquest, and all that stand against him must fight in the depths of his isolation. - Burai has no allies. Burai does not benefit from any effect reliant on allies. Burai cannot be intercepted for. Burai suffers from no other negative effects from this skill. - Individuals do not benefit from any ability that is generated by, targets, affects, or is reliant on allies or other HP-entities (aside from avoidances provided by Barriers/Auras), and treat all effects as though they were fighting alone. No individual may intercept for any other, and abilities activated can only affect their user or their enemy. Allies cannot be excluded from effects that would target or affect all enemies.
Each attack slot used to release a unique attack decreases this number. - If Burai has any negates left with this barrier during a turn, he automatically ignores any C-Range Attack, as well as any attack modified by an active skill effect, without losing negates from the barrier.
[Explosive Bird] - Negated via Mu Rejection Barrier. ? negates remaining. [Persistent Bird] - Negated via Mu Rejection Barrier. ? negates remaining. [Geograph Laser] - All instances of this attack are forcefully aimed at all of the Condor Geograph's HP-Summons, as well as all other enemies. Burai's Mu Rejection Barrier negates all instances of this attack for Burai.
[Laplace] Burai summons forth his most powerful weapon, and his only accepted ally: Laplace, a sentient blade, and an ancient artifact of the Murian people. The Laplace Blade has the ability to absorb the energy of the EM Beings created by Mu, as well as many other murian artifacts, making Laplace his most powerful tool. - Burai gains access to his attacks that specify Laplace’s use. Grants the skills Blade Fury, Wave Arc, and Divine Edge. Burai gains the Divine Blade Element. - While active, Burai can redistribute charges among any attacks with fewer than 3 required charges, as well as any free uses granted by attacks, but can still only apply 1 charge to an attack per turn. Any attacks charged take up 2 actions to charge on their first turn.
[Free hit from Murian Knuckle instead provides an immediate charge to Laplace Slash. Free hit from Murian Burst instead applies an immediate charge to Murian Blade Combat.]
{ Bleeding Edge} Bleed ignores Post Infliction and Non-Perfect Immunity. Bleed is automatically added to all C-Range Blade Element Attacks. [Bleed] - A-Tier, Status Effect. For 5 turns, Deals additional Damage each turn equal to the damage of the inflicting attack, reduced by 20% (additive) per turn. Once inflicted, can only be cured by restoring more damage in a turn than the bleed would normally deal, or by naturally running out.
{ Flowing Master} When activated, all hits of all attacks reduce the target's armor by 60 until the end of the turn. 3-CD between uses.
Divine Blade Lv5: User's C-Range Attacks ignore any negative effects dependent on range. User's C-Range Attacks gain the effects of a single attack used before them of a lower tier. +3 Hits to C-Range Avoid Separately Attacks, applied as desired.
1. [Murian Blade Combat] x10 A series of well-placed sword strikes performed by a master of the arts. -- 2,690 Blade C-Attack Damage. Avoided Separately. 1-Turn Charge. -- Cuts Uncuttable Auras, Breaks Unbreakable Shields -- Attack Slots cannot be sacrificed to augment this attack. It instead gains an additional +15% of Burai’s base damage per time it is used in succession, and gains additional effects based on the numbers of times used. Cannot be Naturally Avoided, Cannot be Countered, Hits up to 1 Additional Targets, Reduces Armor by 60 for 4 turns, Destroys: Auras, Destroys: Barriers, Requires 1 Additional Avoid, Cannot be Mitigated below Base Damage, Reduce Damage by half to add all damage to one Finisher used after this chain, Hits one target 1 additional times.
[Wave Arc] The Laplace Blade can cut through enemies, down to the very core, and releases a shockwave that continuously slashes the same area when swung. - Burai can sacrifice attack slots to increase the total number of hits an attack possesses, on use. Has no effect on avoid separately.
[Vital Strike] The sword master lines up his strike to deliver a powerful attack. - Burai increases the effect of all attack buffs supplied by sacrificing attack slots per attack slot he sacrifices to power up the attack, regardless of for what effects. -- 7/8 Uses/Battle.
[Weapon Focus] A master swordsman wielding his weapon of choice is a dangerous foe on any battlefield. - Burai’s C-Range attacks gain an additional 50% of his base damage. Avoid Separately Attacks can have twice as many attacks spent on them to allow any effect that would not normally apply to apply.
[Keen Edge] A sharp blade enabling Burai to slash in a cleaving motion. - Burai’s Multi-Target and Hits All effects can hit targets an additional time instead of targeting new foes, and can be separately aimed at their primary targets up to three times, avoided separately.
[1 AS spent on x2 Damage, 2 spent to give +1 Required Avoidance per hit of Avoid Separately; x6 Damage, +2 Required Avoidances per hit of Avoid Separately]
[Devastating Finish] A powerful and finishing stroke to end any confrontation. - This attack deals 100% Damage. All required avoidances must be made an additional time or suffer 10% of this attack’s damage as unavoidable damage per required avoidance. If this would be applied to an attack with Avoid Separately, doubles the number of this instead. If this attack would trigger a survival effect, it instead executes a victim. Three one-use survival effects can be expended to negate this effect, or 2 turns can be deducted from a User’s Darksoul. -- 7/8 Uses/Battle
11+12+13+14. [Blade Finisher] @ Condor Geograph x3 An astounding over-head slash with the blade that releases a powerful shockwave of energy upon impact. -- 396,480 Blade C-Attack Damage. -- 6 Hits Avoided Separately, each Requires 2 Avoidances (4 total to avoid Devastating Finish damage). -- Cuts Uncuttable Auras, Breaks Unbreakable Shields -- Is treated as the final attack in an Avoided Separately Combat Chain. If used outside of a combat chain, gains the damage and effects of Murian Fist, instead. -- Ignores Positive Armor, Cannot be Countered, Cannot be Naturally Avoided. -- Gains effects based on Attack Slots sacrificed. Hits 3 Additional Targets, Interrupts, Damage cannot be mitigated below base damage, hits 3 additional times at full damage (avoided separately).
15. [Laplace Slash] A slash with the edge of the laplace blade that leaves a rending phantom wherever it cleaves. -- 530,485 Blade/Laser/Light/Wood C-Attack Damage. 1-Turn Charge. -- Breaks Unbreakable Shields, Cuts Uncuttable Auras -- Hits 10 times at full damage. If hits: The next attack cannot be avoided or mitigated. -- Benefits twice from any effect dependent on sacrifice of attack slots. -- Gains additional effects dependent on Divine Element. -- Blade: Adopts the damage and effects of an attack Burai avoided or negated this turn. -- Hits All, If Hits: Paralyzes. Paralysis pierces post-infliction Immunity. -- When used on Holy Panels: Gains the Light Element and "This attack Inverts Percentile Mitigation." -- The Panels can be changed during the Defensive Phase to respond to this attack, but only to remove the benefit this attack gains from the Panel type. No other effect of the changed Panels activate until the Support phase.

Burai dashed forward and delivered his flurry, but, the Condor apparently had other things in mind. Dashing forward, it turned about on its axis with sudden speed, as its boosters ignited at full throttle, allowing it to escape from Burai without any struggles whatsoever.
The Condor Geograph leveled off back in its safety zone from on high, realizing that its usual tactics are only supplying fodder for them to utilize. Something more had to be, then.
The Condor Geograph floated further up, covering the sun up with its size for a moment, before it suddenly screeched, its boosting thrusters igniting with a golden, burning flare. All at once, the Condor Geograph's body was enveloped by that intense golden shade, its body adopting a darker hue than its wings, as its speed and power seemed to grow by magnitudes.
Screeching forward, the Condor Geograph committed to its power-dive, as it charged head-long towards Feint and Burai, all the while a seemingly non-stop array of missile birds fired themselves from its side, joining the charge towards them. As it launched itself, it gave itself a dangerous spin as it released another volley of lasers - not nearly as strong as the last batch of them, but, dangerous nonetheless. As it charged passed the unallied duo, it screeched, turned around, and came back for its return trip, repeating this process three times.
[CondorGeograph HP=20000/20000]
[Condor Geograph has 0 Armor, takes .25x Damage, and has 4 Barriers active]
[Murian Dominance] A technologically advanced civilization, even when compared to today's access to technology, the Murians created technological wonders that are difficult to replicate. Their divine artifacts are without equal, and no one can know their power without truly being able to hold it as their own. -- Except by other entities with this skill, effects from the user's attacks cannot be copied or imbued. ?
[Embargo] The Condor Geograph stands testament to a powerful engine of war, but its true devastating purpose allows it to stall enemies almost indefinitely as it prepares time and time again for its own assaults. -- Enemies never benefit from any effects dependent on hitting or destroying Condor's HP-Entities.
[Hits All is instead only aimed at Condor]
[Carnage] - Taken by 25 Missile Birds and absorbed by the Condor's barrier. [Devastation] - Destroys Barrier 2. [Carnage] - Taken by 25 Missile Birds and absorbed by the Condor's barrier. [Devastation] - Destroys Barrier 3. [Geograph Lasers] - Reduces all objects to Undershirt. Destroys 10 Missile Birds.
-- Its Natural Avoidance persists against "Cannot be Naturally Avoided."
[Recon Type - Full-Turn Natural Avoidance]
[Gold Standard] The power of the Murian Wave Generator, intensified in time of need to accumulate massive stores of power. The force within them intensifies in an outward manifestation, turning the wave form's body gold. -- Advanced Form. -- 2x Base Damage, Attack Slots, Armor, and Regen. +4 Uses to all Skills, bypassing Use Limits. All avoidances are raised to Omni-Avoidances. Can choose and double the effects of each of one Attack, Skill, and other Advanced Form. -- Attacks requiring 2 or fewer charges can be released as they finish charging. -- One Attack requiring 3 or more turns of charge can be released once without requiring charge while this Advanced Form is active. -- Immediately cuts Max-HP by half and disables all Undershirt and Survival Effects. Cut Max-HP by an additional 10% each turn. Can disable at any time. Only active once, regardless of all other effects.
[Doubles Blot out the Sun. Summon 5 Missile Birds, replicated 9 times each. +50 Missile Birds, this turn.]

1. [Geograph Laser] - [3/5 Charges]
2. [Geograph Laser] - [3/5 Charges]

7. As the bird came rocketing forward, Feint held her hands forward to catch it -- her body much to stiff to move out of the way
~*CRASH!!!*~
The sound was like a semi-truck colliding with a brick wall; Feint was sent skidding back by the heels as the condor made contact with her, but her hands did manage to cling onto what could best be described as the bird's "collar bone" as her skid gradually slowed to a halt.
" Nnnnngh! "
Her overcharged suit was absorbing even more of the force, squeezing in on her body with how dense it had become, totally suffocating her at this point. She'd managed to hold the jet-thrusted bird in place though, her shaking arms, winced expression, and reddening face notwithstanding.
The Condor would feel her fingers trying to dig into its plating, and a stretching feeling coming from where her hands were placed as if she were indeed trying to rip off its wings. Her forehead was pressed against its now, the intensity in her eyes unwavering during the stress of her current state.
" Burai! "
She'd called out for Solo to take advantage of its immobilized state as she held it there, since she had determined she wouldn't be able to get out of the way of the body even if she did manage to dismember the wings. The opportunity to strike didn't last long though, as it began to propel once more with a force that sent her skidding back again.
" Damn it. "
Cherish threw her arms up as she released the Condor, allowing it to continue its trajectory just over the top of her head. It came careening by her a few more times, though she just crossed her arms and took the blows from each of those -- she was sent tumbling back, but still able to stand afterward.
She raised her gun skyward as it took to the clouds once again, squeezing the trigger tightly in a seemingly desperate attempt to discharge as much of the stored energy as possible.
The resulting shot was a blinding laser shot into the sky, seeming to darken not only the direct area, but Whazzup as a whole fell under a shade not unlike a heavy overcast sky as if to exaggerate just how bright the massive laser to the heavens was.
*pant* *pant*
Feint sank to her knees and hands afterward, knelt over seemingly in exhaustion, but really the relief of the built up pressure just gave her body a chance to recover from the strain. While the suit still seemed sufficiently charged -- a hue of the absorbed lasers still lingering over its regular palette -- it wasn't so much that it restricted her movement or breathing anymore.
She took the reprieve for now, maintaining her posture to catch her breathe until the next salvo came down, but it was more likely the Burai could finish off the enemy from here.
