As one might expect, the object did begin to deteriorate the door like all the other things, but it did respond to what Regis did too, causing the door to escape its fate by opening up and sliding on up. Inside it was dark, but it wasn't cold and instead had a toxic air about it, as though it was left to fester about inside of the building. It wasn't a storage room like the last one and instead looked like it was a personalized house, having stairs to the second floor as the first floor was rather barren now, perhaps from the acidic air that was about sitting here for so long. The chances were high as the area appeared to be rusted over on all sides, the stairs being somewhat rusted over and decayed too but not enough where traversing it would be problematic.
Up there would be several more of the coffins from earlier, five to be specific that sat at the back at the end of an expanded hallway. It was a dead end it looked like and something that was leaned up against the wall, a raspy breathing being heard from the person in question. Wearing dark blue armor over his body with the chest armor slightly darker than the rest for some reason, appearing like singe marks from fire or an explosion, his eyes were shielded by a dark purple visor with white hair on his head with dark blue ice armoring his legs. The still missing right arm, the left arm appeared to be similar to the right yet not, as it was dark blue and purple and similarly clawed, a tornado of purple wind on the back of the hand.

" Um.... H-hey there... "
She pointed to the arm Regis was holding; had he been within reach, she would have waved it at him in substitute of her own arm as if displaying to the stranger the subject of her next remark.
" ... we got your other hand? "
And so the universe was pleased that she either didn't think to or she resisted the urge to have used the "need a hand?" joke in this moment instead.

The door was easy enough to open, all things considered. This seemed more like a house than storage. But just a house with.... coffins. Which likely had to do with the message from earlier. And on coming across the Navi... Well, this certainly explained some things. "This might've been what you were missing." He says instead, offering up the arm to the other Navi. He was a bit wary, still, but with all the events happening, he figured it was better to lean towards helping the Tracker, and settling out all the things going on.

The arm coming in closer proximity seemed to cause the often coffins floating to become inert, except for the one that was steadily beginning to pour out more of the vile gases. And the raspy breathing steadily started to come in spurts as the head tilted up and the floor beneath them began to eat away at them thanks to the hand that was resting upon the floor. He began to stand up almost unnaturally, as if nothing else but a feral drive was guiding his actions right now. The vile outcome that often happened to those who took the actions that he did despite their valid justifications. Regis was right to be wary of the situation, perhaps not because they were meant to be hostile in their initial purpose: but that they were leading up to the hostile confrontation that would take place.

Seems he wasn't in a welcoming mood!
Shine covered her face with her scarf as if to filter her breathing, though not to much success. She'd meant to throw a smokebomb onto the ground to hide in, as was her standard approach to these kinds of scenarios, but ended up throwing a Battle Chip instead that at least purified the ground from its own corrosive state.
Figuring Regis could take care of the Coffin all his own, Shine opted to kneel behind various other obstacles lying around seeing as she had missed her opportunity to properly disappear. As usual, she wasn't exactly the one to come up with the best plans, so he approach to the situation was to just go for the most obvious solution instead.
" I guess we'll just have to beat his bad mood out of him! Have at it, Regis! "

As Shine's battle chip went to purify the ground, the navi reached for the ground to begin to corrupt it again even as Regis sent out his attack. The force of the first destroyed the coffin but hit him rather harmlessly. It wasn't as though he blocked it, as he clearly lurched back at the hit, but it didn't inflict any harm. Instead from the arm during the oncoming powered attack came a frozen wind that repelled the offense. As the ground was corrupted the navi pulled his hand upward, pulling another coffin out of the ground and casting it aside, letting it do its work once more as the game against the clock continued.
Defense: Force Wave taken for 0 Damage to ?. Toxic Coffin destroyed.
Illusion's Frostic Aurora Summons a 230 Hp Aura. When used on Ice or after Poison Panels are removed, gains +115 HP. When Toxin Coffin is destroyed, half of its HP is added to the aura and can be used once freely. 2/3 Uses

It seemed to brush off Regis' attacks, but it wasn't like the way that the Lion had done it earlier, at least. She'd be able to last a bit longer until they figured it out, but the situation still put them on a timer nonetheless.

Regis gave a sigh, rolling his neck as he stepped into the air, feeling the effects wearing down at his body. Given the reaction to that attack, then... "Got one plan. Let's see how it goes." There wasn't any much more to do but to try this, he supposed. Even as the poisons were eating away, his weapon touching the ground. Shine slipped through the cracks and hit his blind spot, causing him to recoil as he placed his hand to the ground again. This time several arctic bodies rose up instead, rushing into the destructive light sent forth as all of them were decimated, but managed to shield him from the results of the offense posed against him. And from here he pulled out yet another coffin, adding another to their problems. While the toxins in the ground weren't as influencial against them now, they would have to work from here to figure out their next step against the fallen knight.

Regis couldn't help himself from coughing as the miasmas continued to persist. The fight itself was getting rather tight, especially for himself. Though Shine might be able to handle herself a bit better... At the very least, it seemed like he was able to force out more from the Navi. He just had to keep pushing forward. With that in mind, he stayed silent and continued to let loose an offense, trying to bring this all to end before it got too late. Things weren't exactly getting better, but Regis seemed to have a plan of attack. Seeing their enemy's clones reminded Shine she could have been using her own shadows to help them out this entire time, but the noxious fumes had just kept her too occupied. In an attempt to relieve herself of that stress for a little while longer, she broke one of her chips open to merge with it, though no change in her appearance came of the advanced form, barring the color or her mask that was now green to indicate the elemental properties she had taken on.
It did its job and brought her back to peak condition, but now was the issue of finishing this bout before Regis wore out, since she wouldn't be doing many meaningful hits compared to him.
" You sure you don't wanna talk about this? We handled the Lion for you! "
Maybe he already knew that, given Regis' sword -- maybe that even had something to do with provoking him, if not the mysterious object Shine had been towing around -- but there was no harm in plea'ing while they continued to make out a plan in the meantime. Then again, even if Shine was dull, they could at least be fairly certain his Dark Soul was in control at the moment, rather than his sane mind.

The first swing had managed to dissipate the aura that was around him, while the second blew through the next and the third making it through the next and they tore through the coffins alike. At last they were able to break through as the attacks crashed into him and forced him back against the wall, crashing into it as the dark influence began to flow off of him as he snarled. But then it slowly began to grow quieter as it was clear that the battle was over, his head slumping as he stayed down. They had managed to get through the battle once again.

Regis was panting slightly, trying to get a hold of the spasms that racked his body from the poisons. It... seemed like the corruption faded? Giving a sigh, the swordsman stood up as he started running recovery protocols, staring at the Trapper, but giving a glance to Shine in his peripherals. "We alright?" It was question, funnily enough, that was directed at both his partner for this entire adventure, but also the person they had ended up coming to save. He really didn't want to deal with the Navi again, if he started to rampage, but... Atleast he had a better idea of how he would have to handle the fight if it came down to it.

Shine relaxed her poise and sounded relieved that the ordeal was over. She'd collected her mysterious item that she had left at the door and brought it over now, just to keep it near and safe from any lingering bugs out and about.
" Hopefully when he wakes back up he'll be calmed down a bit. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to take him back to NIA HQ if he's beat up too badly, maybe they can help patch him up. "
As for where to go from here: Shine wasn't sure. The message he left for them back in Citadel was just to come and find him, so whatever came next was a mystery until he woke up.
