This is Dennis Midorikawa with Inter-Network News. Our top story tonight; a noted public figure made an appearance at a Netopian orphanage today to give back to the community. But first;
Authorities are reporting that the Navi known as Genesis has been apprehended. Wanted for some time after he and "The Amore Destroyer" were involved in a publicly-broadcasted attack on Rammount, he was finally captured by a task-force in Sharo. Experts are now saying that both Navis have likely gone schizophrenic after years of attempting to kill one-another, which would explain their apparently erratic behavior that has been described as "flailing around randomly" and "fighting an invisible person". There is currently no word as to punishment for Genesis' crimes.
The OEL has announced a new Navi model to be out by Spring of next year. Reports speculate that it will have a 1% increase in processing power, and will drain PET battery life at a rate that is 25% higher than the current models available while being incompatible with headphone software. The Navi model, apparently named NavI9, will retail at 100,000z, with optional rose-gold premium armor finish starting at 150,000z. Lines have already formed at most all major OEL-outlet stores.
Loath Co. has announced that they will be pursuing legal action against Navi Joe for defamation in his latest installment of Navi Joe's Newsletter. A representative from Loath Co, owner of Inter-Network News, has stated that "our corporate family does not have any 'losers' in our ranks, and we frankly resent the inference. Mr.Loath, the wonderful philanthropist that he is, was deeply and truly hurt at this inference, and has stated his desire that Navi Joe receive little more than 'a slap on the wrist' in order to be made fully aware of what he's done". The lawsuit has been filed for 100,000,000z.
Sharo has announced that its borders have been semi-opened for traffic again. After much Stallin on their part, it seems that the government of Com Square is now Russian to welcome new Navis, even going so far as to open a new Tsarbucks right outside of the network HQ. While they aren't Putin much emphasis on fully opening their border as of now, this Marx the beginning of a new era for the country.
And now for our top story: the esteemed peace-keeper Rosso made an appearance at the Netopian Orphanage earlier today; a facility dedicated to the care of non-autonomous Navis who were abandoned by their operators. He took part in several photo-shoots and posed with the children. I believe that I can speak for everyone when I tell Rosso "thank you for all that you've done!"
