Just as the bombs went off, a beam of light streaked into the sky from where Guts stood.

Piano.EXE The Ratties Piano deployed stopped and backed off after seeing the beam of light rise up. It seemed that to them, it signified some sort of attack.
Piano himself was not sure what it was, but he thought the same, and so he walked a little bit faster. A Satella swooped from behind him, charging towards the explosion site and ready to fire at anything resembling a Navi. Meanwhile, a Catack dropped from the sky nearby, followed by a Basher just right behind it. The Catack's driver yelled something in its squeaky tone, which caused the Basher's head to split open and attach onto the Catack, surrounding it with its three flaming barrels. All aimed at the explosion site, the four cannons fired powerful shots at the exact same time.

Rooks anti-climactic, and somehow possible exit was met with silence. For several moments the site was still, until...
Well, curse Duo for whatever that was. The deflated voice, his tone cursing his inability to subdue targets faster, went silent.
A minute or so later Pianos arsenal arrived on thee scene of the detonations. The craters fresh and smoldering still. Yet found no navi, living or otherwise in a brief glance at the vicinity. They find the rubble of the collapsed building Rook was in minutes prior still smoking.
Mary's prodding and light clinging was met with more intense clangs in rebuttal. It seems whatever is inside is responding to her voice in kind. The saber wielder pries and scours for a keyhole but finds only a keypad with the numbers 0-9 on it, and a slider for card.

A survivor..?
Mary 'tsk'ed at the sign of the pin pad. Of course it'd be secure, and of course she hadn't actually acquired any identification of her own yet. She considered just stabbing it, but maybe she could get lucky finding something lower down? Doesn't seem like whoever was inside was in any real peril, so she could leave them for now. Not like she cared much either.
Mary traversed down more to pick through more of the rubble with her saber in hopes of something useful. She even took her sweet time doing so.

Piano.EXE Piano halted his walk and opened his eyes to relay information with all of the viruses already in the area. All accounts tell him that there was no immediate visible threat. How about anything shiny, Piano inquired. None either, replied all of them. The viruses then left the scene. Some of them teleported into other networks entirely. Piano stood by, his emblem-eyes staring at the vast expanse of rubble. This... slight, unending warning that played in his head all this time was starting to get unbearable. This site was unsafe, at least for him. He disintegrated into scrambled data, teleporting to another location.

*Genesis had been silent for some time now. Whether it was because he was taking in the surroundings or not was hard for the outsider to say. PlagueMan, being with him at the time, could tell it was because the Overlord was mulling over some things. He wasn't quite sure of the series of events that led Zane to Rosso. And because of how few people Genesis had that he could say he relied on and trusted, Zane not counting among them was a hefty blow indeed. One that on the surface he was fine with, but on the inside he was still coming to terms with. So to get his mind off of it he had started to consider another thing, bringing him a bit of a smile when he imagined her laughing at gravity of all things. She really would do that, too.*
"Staying idle forever won't get me any answers either."
*Everyone was doing their part. He would have to do his as well. Walking over to the keypad, he imagined if a certain few officials were still around, they'd have the code naturally. Given its condition, he probably figured that the usual security measures for taking to tamper with it were a bit haywire at the moment. So he placed his hand to it as he sought to rearrange a few things about it, chiefly to change the code into one that he would know and to simulate the slider being used to get it to open in a simpler fashion than trying to brute force it.*

Mary continued down. Digging and prodding at debris. She finds mostly navi parts and scraps of old reaverbots in her meandering around the crater. Gradually making her way to the lowest accessible point before the debris gets too thick. Yet here she finds a gap, large enough for something lithe like her to fit through.
Genesis meanwhile successfully managed to manipulate the coding within the console. Changing the password to the greatest of combinations, 8008135. He enters the password and the door creaks open easy enough.
Oh thank you! A nasaly voice chimes from the newly lit room within. I've been trapped in there for ages! Please! Get me out of here! A normal green navi in a white lab coat outstretches his hand up toward the onyx overlord.

PlagueMan.ERR
PlagueMan had been planning to do a closer inspection, when, suddenly, a pylon nearby turned on. He felt the ebb and flow of energy from his collective, and realized quickly that this same ebb and flow would be evident to all he had bonded with - Slypner and Genesis, included. As the pylon suddenly lost power again, PlagueMan used his flare of energy to focus on it, lashing out in a wave of bugged data to destroy it.
Meanwhile, he split himself up into four humanoid forms to branch out and begin exploring the rubble of the base more coherently, looking into each individual pathway and within the ruins for anything of import.

Uhh..? Help? The voice pipes up. Unsure of whats going through the mind of the one above him.
Plagueman launches the blast of data Stop. Is all Slypners flat voice can muster before it coats the pylon entirely. Eating away at it ferociously. Over the next several seconds the bugged data slowly trickles off, revealing the pylon half eaten and utterly useless.
I believe... This is what I am here for. See if you can salvage the others. The pylon and the computer both are what I will require. There must be more. While an emotionless navi, the words themselves conveyed a trace of desperation.
While large and peppered with debris the chamber was not too obscured. Finding more consoles with their own, still intact, pylons was a simple chore. Although most were destroyed or rendered inert 3 consoles still functioned. Aside these one Plagueclone catches the glinting sheen of a data file tucked snuggly under the mucky water.

One surprise after another, Mary finds herself yet another door, this time in the shape of a tricky hole. To go in could easily mean no return... but she looked back at the crater of what was once New Life, and then to her injured arm.
I just wanted a life of my own..
With that thought, Mary pokes around the hole carefully to move the sharpest objects out of the way before slowly going in head first so that she could use her saber to stand securely on whatever she would land on.

Slypner (Legendary slowness comin outa left field. Least I can count on deathy!)
*sobs horribly* Having finally realized who was lording above him, lost in his own thoughts, the now panicking scientist slams the door shut once more! Choosing to be inside that secure room than be outside with the leader of the revolution himself!
Mary's descent is slow due in no small part to her injuries, but also the harrowing mess that was this small make-shift tunnel. She burrows deeper and deeper until several minutes later begins to feel a small pressure in the air... and then it increases. As it does her entire being feels drained, weakened to the point of the wounded warrior being unable to support her own weight. Just as she flops to the ground, the pressure releases and her strength returns.
Glancing about there's a glint of light coming from the floor above, a hole.

It's abnormally cold.. something's off.
Mary's reaction to the unpleasantness was responded with her allowing her Saber to float freely, holding both her arms close to her and hunching over slightly for extra warmth. Noticing the hole, she motions her Saber up to see if she can get anyone's attention, rather than shout up first.
She looks around a little. The lighting wasn't exactly the greatest for looking, but nonetheless she thought to try.
.. it's almost as if someone dug their way out of here. Or maybe in here? Could what the artist is looking be in here?
Even though her Saber hovered on the other side of the hole, she decided to make her presence known anyway.
"A..anyone up there? Hello?"

Slypner
She peers into the hole, finding herself looking down into a large circular room littered in debris and flooded a foot with water. It's outer fringe raised above with several computers dotting the platform. Most of them broken or out of commission and each with a large pylon next to it. Amongst the debris water and computing ware she also seems several strings of glitchy data meandering about looking for... something?
*skitter* A light noise from beyond the hole, heard but sourceless in the dark. The cold feeling Mary felt wafts once more upon her from that direction like a cold breeze. Yet the feeling of weakness does not. Its heard once, and not again.
It's not until she returns her gaze to the hole that the feeling of weakness returns just as slowly and strong as before. The crippling sensation almost enough to make her fall into the room below but she clings on... and a slow moment later, her strength returns again.

PlagueMan.ERR
PlagueMan frowned, the whole of the collective feeling its sadness, as he realized that Slypner needed those pylons, complete with their consoles.
Three of the collectives approached the remaining Pylons, placing a hand on its surface to prepare for a similar method as before, carefully glancing about to see if there was anything else within the network that would need to be moved with them once they began breaking them down. Almost immediately, the small bugged pixel next to Slypner began to warp, as the remnants of the three consoles and pylons began to materialize next to him.
The remaining PlagueMan approached the file in the murky waters. Reaching down, his bugged data hewed away the water beneath its touch, instantly drying the file as he lifted it. A curious find, all the way down here; to think, that this survived an explosion. Sifting through the file, PlagueMan began to scan it, looking to see what might've once been, and if it were somewhat important.

Please just be a ratty.. With no more investigation to be done, Altair walks over to the hole. With her good arm, she sat down, throwing her legs into the hole, and slowly slid down in. Unknowing how deep it was, she decided to slide all the way in anyway.
Of course most of this place is destroyed. Why would something be down here? Couldn't be something too important then. Could reavers have survived the collapse?
Questions she pondered as she made another descent.
