Krystania moved through the streets of the Creamland server, her mail boots giving small 'clink' noises with every step that she took. The woman was mostly unfamiliar with what was going on. She and her brother had awoken some time ago, but neither of them really remembered where they had come from or what their purpose was and so for the most part...they simply wandered about. This area, however, was far more populous than places that they'd been prior.
"So many interesting things. Kane, how much Zenny do we have?" she asked, turning to glance at her brother. The street shops were full of various items of different types, and she was quite curious about everything that was in here...but she also didn't know if she would be allowed to purchase anything. "Oooh..." she spoke, picking up a hair clip, a simple program designed to alter one's appearance. "Do you think I should get this?" she asked, cocking her head a little to the side.

Kane held a disgruntled frown the entire time. Too many people, too many nick-knacks of little importance. They had been walking for a while, but Kane's memory still stayed daunted and in a daze. What were they even doing in the place they awoke, and why wouldn't they be able to remember? Kane snapped back into reality upon Krystania asking about their funding. To which he turned his head the other way, rubbing the back of it with his hand.
"Yeaaah.. uh. Unless you have some on you still, I spent whatever was left on hot tea at our last pit stop."
Kane turned back to scan the clip she picked out. He stared for a while, feeling like she's always had a thing for hair clips.
"I'd buy it for you, but that tea tempted me beyond belief."

Krystania frowned at her brother's response. "I don't. I thought we still had some. That is a shame," she spoke, setting the hair clip down, leaving her with the simple high ponytail that she had now before moving to fall into step once more with her brother. "Perhaps you should have your weakness to tea checked. I do not think one such as yourself should become so enamored with it," the woman said with a small smile as they walked.
The crowded streets were not something that Krystania particularly enjoyed, though it was quite a bit different than what she was used to. "Have you...remembered anything?" she asked, hesitantly. She hadn't, and they'd had this talk about a half-dozen times now, but at the end of the day, neither of them had any more information than they'd had the last time they'd talked it over. "I wonder if there's something here that might give us some more information? Maybe we can see if anyone can remember us?" she asked, looking back at her brother.

Kane crossed his arms, giving a crack of a smile in return for Krystania's.
"Oh please, tea is my life essence. Helps keep the data running to slice the opposition in half."
He pondered her question for a bit, and replied after a few moments.
"Nothing. Only how to fight, and that nothing can beat a good cup of tea. Though, it's strange. If we are from here, then wouldn't we have been noticed by now? If we aren't from here, then why are we here? There's actually some speculations that I can think of now."
He caught up with his sister, and laid a gentle hand on her shoulder to slow their paces, and be able to bring their conversation down as he continued.
"It looks like we have a few possibilities. It could be someone was trying to get rid of us, or we were trying to get rid of someone. We could also have been visiting or living here, and gotten soaked into trouble. It could be something simpler, but don't you find it odd that we both awoke in the same place unscathed with no memory at all? Just default functioning and muscle memory."
Kane sweeped the area once more.
"I don't even know where we are; where anything is, for that matter."

JunkMan.SIT
Creamland's servers had seen some better days. From the destruction caused by ColdMan to the rampaging D-Rex, the beautiful inner city walls as well as the sprawling outskirts have seen massive damages, some of which the Network has only recently started repairing on its own.
JunkMan had become rather attached to the beautiful architecture. He was a simple Navi, and the culture of the area appealed to the collector in him; the pointed arcs, towering cathedrals and imposing monastaries were all gorgeous, and he hated to find them in rubble, scattered about the city. Well, maybe he only hated it a little. If he found them in rubble, it gave him an excuse to marvel at it before he tried putting pieces back together!
His friends had once taught him that using his skills in the service of others would make them happy. Sure, the buildings weren't nearly as pretty as they were before to the random onlooker, but, JunkMan could stand proud before the repairations he had made. His natural affinity for junkdata let him sift through the piles of trash and even pull some bits of data out of the air that hadn't been fully deleted yet, and he had been working on putting them all back together. Some other, proper construction workers were on the job, too, working to restructure the area, but, they didn't have the same attention to detail he did. The air around him suffused with little bits of trash, rubble, stone and metal from the torn up houses and buildings near by, and he directed each little piece into its perfect spot.
To the onlookers, the little houses he was erecting had pieces jutting out of them in odd places, strange accommodations for doors and windows, and materials and colors in mismatching places and purposes. Just then, he was trying to pick up a piece of red sheet underneath the siblings', and groaned as he realized someone was on top of it.
"Oh, I'm sorry! I, well, I didn't know you were there . . . could you, um, just move off of the red sheet there? I need it for the house I'm rebuilding!"

She exhaled softly at his response. IT wasn't so much frustrating as it was just sort of disappointing. She felt like a tool without a purpose, or one that had been replaced by something better. She and her brother both had no memories of their own aside from one another, and their battle data. And, of course, Kane's affinity for tea. It wasn't as if it was anyone's fault, but the navi was a gentle soul, and not knowing what it was that she was...made to do was something that she didn't particularly enjoy. Beyond that, there were several that had what were called NetOPs. People in something called the 'real world' that they spoke to. She didn't know what that was or what that even meant, and, neither did Kane, from when she'd asked him incessantly before.
She turned a gaze to her brother as he began to list of possible reasons for their existence. Or rather their lack of memory. "I-" she began, attempting to respond to him when she felt the ground somewhat give way beneath her. She blinked, before glancing over to another navi that seemed to be readying himself for more of the reconstruction effort. He asked for them to move after an apology, and the woman blinked, looking down before she moved, taking one plated heel off of the cloth after the other, stepping to the side. "Apologies that we were not watching where we were going," she offered, looking the Navi over for a moment, before her gaze moved to her handiwork.
She moved to take a step back toward her brother, mostly preferring to stay near him for safety than anything else. "I...have been thinking on that," she spoke, not really meanning to ignore the navi and his junk data, but more to finish the conversation with her brother. "I am beginning to wonder if dwelling on it is going to help us remember anything. It feels like all it does is build frustration in the both of us." Her words were quiet as she absently watched the navi before her begin to affix the red cloth to the building in a way that was both nonsensical but also functional, somehow. "What if...we find a new purpose? Something that we are to do, here? Help people. Like this navi is doing," she spoke, gesturing to the navi just effectively playing with the junk data.
"I don't know where we are either but that shouldn't change what we're doing, should it? I don't know about fixing houses, only fighting, but..." she paused, looking to Kane. "I want to help people." she affirmed.

Kane listened closely to each word Krystania spoke, looking constantly between her and the collector before them. After she had finished speaking, he looked at her for probably a solid 5 seconds before closing his eyes and releasing a long, long sigh.
"... Starting from nothing, especially when we know practically nothing, is a hard journey. If you're really ready to take on that adventure, Krys.."
Kane put a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
"Then I'll be by your side every step of the way."
Of course, he still felt uneasy about all of this. But the last thing he wanted was to worry his sister more when they both already had life itself on their plate. He then turned to the being before them.
"Um. Yo, I'm Kane. This is my sister, Krystania. Could we, uh, help you out, or something?"

JunkMan.SIT
As Krystania steps off of the little red sheet for him, JunkMan doesn't even pick it up. He'd already lost track of what he was doing in response to the new people, especially hearing them talk back and forth with one another. The boy comes up and asks if he could be of help, but, well, honestly . . .
"Actually . . . is there any way I can help you? My name's JunkMan! Honestly, this isn't the first time this neighborhood's been rebuilt . . . this month . . . and you two look like you could use some help!"

As Kane offered his assistance to her, the girl smiled, nodding at her brother. "That's good to hear. I was wondering if you were wanting to just...focus on where we came from," she spoke, her tone getting a little quieter. She didn't really expect Kane to just shoot her down like that, but at the same time, there was an uncertainty in most of what she did that came from that loss of understanding on just...how things worked. And where she came from, and what she was meant to do.
However, as soon as he'd given her that affirmation, her brother turned toward the other and offered assistance, which then in kind was repaid with assistance requested from the larger Navi as well. The woman cocked her head to the side as she watched him then, glancing to her brother before she turned back to JunkMan. "I am Krystania," she offered to the larger fellow, giving him a small curtsy before she regained her full height. "I suppose if you would like to help us...the best way would be to help you in return?" she asked, before clarifying what she meant. "There have been a number of attacks here, it seems...I would like to be able to help, if I may so I suppose if I should begin with..."
"...where are we, exactly?" she began, looking a bit sheepish, "And who is doing the attacking?"
