NapalmMan stands back, watching the fight between Magnolia and the D-Rex carefully. Her technique here was very interesting; extremely random to the normal Navi, but the Storming Bomber recognizes her tactic in this case, and looks to see if it would be effective. However...
The D-Rex, in a move far more calculated than such a destruction-oriented being would be expected to perform, springs its trap. With Magnolia striking out like a hurricane, the still-charging head suddenly flips upside-down, exposing the energy orb to her attack. This causes a surprisingly large burst of blinding white energy to flood the network, during which time the head suddenly and unexpectedly lurches forward, slamming into Magnolia and it forcing ts momentum downward, attempting to slam her into the ground at the body of the beast.
From the base of the D-Rex, two large strips of metal launch out from the side; two titanic blades. The two weapons spring out like a snap-trap, slicing Magnolia's position like a pair of scissors with an ear-splitting woosh.
Meanwhile, NapalmMan crosses his cannons and looks on during the assault of the demolition engine. At this point he'd offer his aid, but the whole issue of his being an old prune made him take the "wait and watch" approach instead.

Oh hey, it was more calculated than she expected it to be. The blinding light is what caused her to slow down almost as if it was out of reflex to recollect herself when it happened. And then it moved to slam into her despite the implications that would have in its present state. While she wasn't being harmed by that, the force of it physically moving down was dragging her down as it intended to. But her vision returned much faster than one would expect, grinning at the action it took. It was a proper calculation after all.
"Clever girl! But I love this tempo too!"
It was here that rather than her sword arm she at least used her right arm. And with it she did a palm strike up at the upper half of the D-Rex presently pushing down at her and in a show of force slowed its pushing force. She intentionally didn't slow it by much however, making it look like a bit of a struggle for her so it would just push a bit harder to force her into the rest of this trap. But then she made her full move. She pushed off with her hand and her thrusters coming on, gliding out from under it and rising above it in less than a heartbeat, diving straight down into it with her force and speed. A move designed to further increase the speed at which the upper half was coming down so it would crash into the titanic blades that were meant to be used on her instead.

Magnolia's quick thinking and lightning reflexes serve her well. As she had planned, her swift move and fight against the lowering head causes it to fight back all the harder, which changes the scenario from its trap to her trap. The head pile-drives into the ground, far lower than it had expected. Then, without a second's hesitation, the base of the D-Rex launches its devastating scissor strike, cutting through the head's enhanced armor and slicing the head of the D-Rex in two.
The entire being of the D-Rex erupts into a wave of explosions, tearing the engine's form to pieces before at last an all-encompassing explosion of pure white force extends across the horizon of the network, expanding out into a blanket of slowly fading white.
In the end, the WWW's demolition engine is gone, entirely eliminated by its own attempted trap.
...all the while, NapalmMan looks on, his cannons still crossed. Despite the situation, he makes no attempts to escape and no attempts to capitalize on Magnolia's potentially compromised focus. Instead he calls out to her, still standing tall and stoic as he looks on.
NapalmMan: You're quick-thinking, fast, and powerful, but you rely too heavily on the power of your weapon and that shield of yours.

She was grinning ear to ear on the success of her own trap as she touched back down on the ground rather triumphantly, the area around her that was being erased ceasing that aspect as the fight was over. But she could appreciate that Gate had installed those blades likely in the event she wasn't lying about being in Creamland. It was nice to see he didn't take her for a liar at the very least. ...Even if this wasn't actually sent to give her a visit as much as it was hunting NapalmMan. It made sense for him to try and take care of him so swiftly, but that wouldn't do for her either. So she had maintained that same eager grin when she looked over to NapalmMan on her handiwork. She was glad he didn't try to run off, as then it would've been pretty awkward on her part to have just stood still after winning too instead of trying to catch him. He hit at least three of her good points on why she was good at what she did, but after the compliments came the criticism. One could say everyone was a critic, but it wasn't as if he was wrong in what he analyzed and called her out on either. So she pouted instead, not as insulted as the last time he took a cut at her and managed to draw blood first properly out of their opponents.
"I'll give it to you that you're right. Even if I haven't got to show off yet my sword is what I rely on, the defense too. Solid reason behind both of course, but reliance is reliance in the end. Even if the guy saying it has to rely on multi-faceted cannons most of the time."
But they had plenty of multiple functions, so they got a pass. As is she hadn't displayed any other functions for her sword or the weird defense she had. Though the defense was also an offense, so that was a revelation for sure as something tipped off. So in a rather strange event she called out her sword again, her arm blurring as several waves were unleashed that went across the area. Why it had wasn't certain, but it retracted after she was done. The cleanup she figured that the other Knights would come deal with, so she had time to spare now. Though she did have something else to say with her honesty too.
"...But I did want some pointers from you, so thanks in advance. Ready to talk it out instead of fight it out?"

NapalmMan glances down to his cannons for a moment, considering Magnolia's words for a moment before looking back.
NapalmMan: Put yourself on equal footing, then cut off my cannons. We'll see just how reliant on them I am.
NapalmMan pauses for a moment, hoping that Magnolia would pick up on what he was saying to her before he continues.
NapalmMan: As for talking, let me ask you this. Let's say that I were to somehow bypass your defenses and sucker-punch you right now, knocking you cold. Then I take you and put you into stasis for a few years, where you're slightly aware of your situation at all times. Now, after that I open up the pod and all that you see are combat-designed Navis in my base. How are you going to respond?
NapalmMan lets his words sink in for a moment before he continues, obviously glancing over to the wreckage that the D-Rex had caused.
NapalmMan: But to answer your question; you've made it obvious that you're not aligned with Gate, and that you're reasonable. Let's talk.

Yeah she could definitely get behind that mentality. Unlike some of her other associates, she was fond of those who never knew when to quit. Quitting had no merit besides saying you lost early without a commitment to the result. Now a tactical withdrawal or things like that she was fine with, but she felt she never could understand the mentality of a defeatist. So she nodded this time. Although she couldn't help but smile at the idea of the sucker punch scenario. That had to be both a mix of infuriating yet humiliating to have it happen to you when you were pretty sure of yourself, so she imagined she could relate to that no problem after just NapalmMan's first run-in with her and Glint.
"Glint and the others totally set off red flags in that scenario. In my defense though, I don't look anything like a Gate combat unit. Unless he suddenly has tiny people in his ranks. And if he does none of them are like--...maybe that ufo guy..."
He probably could be a bit fun if he was still around and didn't work for Gate of all people. But he was eccentric enough where they probably could mix and match and use it as an excuse to say that he had at least one person close to her personality. But she had appreciated the reaction all the same, as any reasonable figure would have responded the same way given Gate capturing you was a problem all the time. Now a secure place no one would quite find them in... well, she supposed that there wasn't exactly a place without eyes and ears normally.
"In that case, let's speak in Xanadu. So you get to have an early visit there."
She closed her eyes and without any action on her own part did a rift open in the center of them. It looked like it was connected to a blank space that had what sounded like static, but she opened her eyes and ushered for him to head on in. It would be nice to be able to chat with more than just her compatriots or the Knights.

As Magnolia opens the rift, NapalmMan's stance suddenly changes from one of relaxation to one of readiness. Despite fighting her in the past and seeing what she can do first-hand against the D-Rex, the Storming Bomber stands ready to fight Magnolia at a moment's notice with this shift in tone.
NapalmMan: I just wake up after being taken against my will, and you honestly think that I am going to be escorted through a strange rift by a Navi that I just met?
NapalmMan's eyes narrow as his cannons come online with a hum. His understanding of Magnolia was enough to make him not take even the slightest chance in the event of her revealing herself as hostile.
NapalmMan: It's not happening.

Normally someone would probably be offended, but she let out a bit of a laugh instead. He wouldn't have made it this far if he wasn't this picky. He was definitely an old prune alright. Well, this was fine too. She supposed that would be a trip for another time. So it closed back on its own without her intervention too, as though there was something else opening it rather than of her own will.
"I suppose paranoia fits even if I wouldn't bother with the rift and just fight you here if I wanted to take you out. But that's fine, just have to be careful with loose lips out in the open. Unless you have a hidden base that isn't compromised that you would trust someone you just met paying a visit to? That or Sharo, but that would be about the same really."
She didn't show any hostility even though NapalmMan was more guarded now. It wouldn't exactly encourage him to stick around if she did. Neither of them would be big on revealing anything that they didn't want others to know besides the one they told. That also included what either might keep from one another. Sharo was a different matter altogether, but it was something the Bomber would have been familiar with if not for current times. He was a bit out of time everywhere to be fair, so an open chat was fine. It meant that they couldn't veer too off topic.

With the rift closed and Magnolia still showing herself a non-threat despite the semi-joking comment, NapalmMan takes a more relaxed stance, made evident by his cannons going offline again. Despite the obvious power that Magnolia had behind her, NapalmMan's stubborn streak and self-preservation demands that this situation play out his way or not at all. Still, actually getting a few answers did seem to go his way. He considered taking her back to the lost WWW Archive, but he quickly drops that thought as he didn't want her trying to access or "commandeer" the data archives, and that he didn't know her standing with Resonance and Genesis, who may still very well be there. Despite the situation, he didn't want to sell them out needlessly. No, he'd want a very good reason to sell them out.
NapalmMan: Fine. I'll meet you on the northern outskirts of arbor woods near the data mines.
NapalmMan's body burns bright red as a tower of flames engulfs his form, causing him to disap-
NapalmMan: ...oh for crying out-SHARO'S GONE TOO?!
The Storming Bomber loses some composure at this point as he realizes that he can't access Sharo's network. First Electopia, and now THIS?! He WOULD NOT live in Netopia after this mess blows over!

Baxter
A navi clad in the fashion of the 1990's arrives on the scene with a screeching halt while gripping the bill of his iconictm hat that reads "LET'S GO!" on it. His navy blue parachute pants and sleeveless vest fluttering in the wind created by his leisurely jog incredible speed. The glint of his massive golden belt buckle that's somehow larger than his already impressively sized belt reflects the Creamland digital sun.
YO! He pipes up, interrupting the two warrior navis. THE BUSTER BOSS WHO BEATS EM AND DELETES EM AND NEVER LETS UP! IT'S YA BOY BAXTER! He makes an exaggerated gesture only further glorified by the rather rotund candevil virus holding a cream colored waxy pipe and flexing its muscles beside him.
TIME TA BUST... em.. up... Hm. Baxter looks up at the exploded piles of debris that were once part of the D-Rex. Yo what?

Kidd was able to duck under the blades, but wasn't able to attack from his prone position. However, once the D-REX exploded, he walked over towards Napalm.
"Gotta say, I'm glad that thing has been taken care of. I just wish I had been the one to take care of it. Also, if you're trying to contact Sharo, I distinctly remember the thing you just fought destroying the ONB base there. It was around the time that Gate had taken over. I, and a few others, we're trying to get a resistance movement started, and we're met with force."
As Kidd spoke, he couldn't help but remember his goal, and take note of how strong Napalm was.
"Back then, and even now, I was too weak to do anything about it. I cursed myself for it. But seeing how strong you are, it has given me hope. That's why, if you don't mind, I would like to train under you. That is to say, I would like to become your student."

She didn't hold back her laugh when the Storming Bomber tried to head to Sharo to no avail. Yeah, she was hoping she'd get to see someone do that at least once. And it made sense that it would be the guy who was out of his time frame. He'd been gone for enough years for there to be a pretty big discrepancy on what he knew and what he didn't know. Likely why he needed a way to get caught up. But most of those avenues had dried up over the years and the other sources... were a bit too headstrong to deal with the most headstrong guy around. She was going to let Kidd finish talking, but all of a sudden cut in when he mentioned strength.
"When everything went down, Sharo more or less locked down. Doubled down rather than loosen up, y'know? Now getting access is particularly difficult without some loopholes, something that isn't hard for us. On the bright side thanks to that it's particularly clean now. Northern outskirts it is then."
NapalmMan would notice that he could get into Sharo now as opposed to before. The network just opened up for him, simple as that. She didn't leave yet, but did give Kidd a sidelong glance instead. It was pretty clear she had something to say by this point. So she'd say it before going on ahead.
"Pretty sure you need to do more than dodge to be called strong. And while he absolutely can do more than that... you, in fact, saw nothing at all. So you can curse yourself for being weak, but you certainly aren't going to be strong when you're so narrow-minded."
She offered a lighthearted wave to Baxter though before an orb resembling the moon encased her before it shattered, Magnolia no longer present. It at least was different than the other times she had gone places.

NapalmMan keeps his eyes locked on Magnolia though her every motion, her every word. Trust is one of the most valuable commodities that one can give or receive, and this apparently light-hearted girl had earned some, yet not enough to be relaxed around. It's not until she disappears that the Storming Bomber relaxes to some degree, finding amusement in just what she'd had to say. At this point, NapalmMan's eyes turn to Kidd, looking him over for a moment.
NapalmMan: I'm not an entry-level combat teacher. You wouldn't survive.
NapalmMan's eyes narrow as he considers the situation, looking Kidd over one more time before disappearing in a pillar of fire, considering Magnolia's actions up to this point as he does so.

Baxter
Baxter and his companion slump slightly, but then inhale deeply to look tougher.
Haha, you got toasted kid. He points at Kidd, not knowing his actual name but calling him kid all the same. If I hadn't stopped to beat up, like, 10 viruses on the way here I'd have curbed this monster. Baxter strikes a masculine pose and then notices several hunks of the D-rex laying around.
He immediately scoops up several choice pieces of the debris and stuffs them into a bottomless bag. Then darts off into the city. Later yo! Got a wicked cool idea!
Baxter exit stage left.
