It hadn't been long since he had left NIA. In a sense, his mission had been completed. The cybeasts were no more and he himself held the power of one of the two. The Juuka sat down with his back on a tree, his eyes flosed as to rest for a while. His dragon friend had gone separate ways. It would be best if they didn't stick together too much from now on.
Wondering what his next action would be, Nightshade cuddled up to himself, letting the sounds of Netopia Woods ease his stressed mind. Maybe now he could find a way out of Netopia? Who knew.

...like moth drawn to a flame, Nightshade would find no solitude this evening. As Nightshade tries to work out the issues of the day, a sound rises from the forest; a loud thrashing about, complete with the sound of a tree or two toppling over. The sound gets closer and closer, until at last a tree drops directly into Nightshade's clearing. Behind the fallen tree stands a Navi of unmistakably simple design. A form-fitting, black tank top, loose-fitting cloth pants, a boxing guard framing his smiling face and messy red hair, and a pair of black boxing gloves that look like they've been well used. The Navi, who looks as strong as an ox and twice s stubborn, looks over to Nightshade and shoots a boyish smile, raising a fist as he does so.
Challenger: Oooh, didn't think anyone'd be out here. Sorry if I startled 'ya!

*A short ways away, the rustling of trees shook viruses to and fro', with a rhythmic thump for footsteps. Embera was making her way through the trees, only to start losing her temper going in circles after that cat. Beginning to punch trees down, she eventually made way to where the two navis were standing. Recognizing the cat, Embera sighed that her trudging finally paid off. With a wheeze, she finally spoke up.*
Embera: You're pretty quick to run off like that. I wanted to talk with you, but...
*It was at this point Embera looked through her grated visor to see Challenger, the fighting spirit incarnate. Remembering their last time to blows, she let out a light-hearted scoff to the navi.*
Embera: 'Oy! And what're you doin' around these parts? Don'tcha know these trees have feelings?
*Embera grinned anonymously, while also hoping she wouldn't be called out on the hypocrisy of her beating defenseless trees to find a cat navi like some kind of knuckle-dragging firefighter.*

And there was another face. The rambunctious nature, the insufferable smile. the fake accent...
Challenger: Embera...
With the speed that one would expect from a boxer of his caliber, Challenger Rushes Embera, closing the gap... and throwing his arms around her in a boyish, brotherly hug, complete with pats on the back.
Challenger: Lass, s'been FAR too long! How've 'ya been?!
Challenger releases Embera at this point, realizing that he may get unintentionally burned by her innate heat, even through her slag armor. However, he keeps a hand on her shoulder as he does so, still absolutely beaming.
Challenger: Aren't 'ya a sight for sore eyes now? Where've 'ya been hiding these years? I don't even remember th'last time I saw 'ya!
Challenger finally removes his hand, taking a step back while still beaming with a smile. This is when he looks to Nightshade and then back to Embera.
Challenger: Oooh, sorry 'lass. I didn't know that 'ya wanted t'have a word with th'boy. I can step out if 'ya like.

The little cat navi was staring at the two with his head tilted to the side and his tail wagging in curiosity. The fire lady he had met earlier. She seemed pretty ok, but looks could be decieving. The boxer dude was a weird guy. Why the hell would he be chopping down trees as that time of night?
"Uuuh...uhm...well...there was someone I needed to go see and make sure he didn't die because of his paranoia." He replied to the armored lady. "Besides, I don't even know how can you properly move with all that metal on you."
Nightshade patted his chest. "Polycarbonate fiber Kevlar is way less cumbersome and has a better level of protection."
He would then cross his hands together. "Why are you two here anyways?"

Siega.CMD
The air above a branch rippled, before it gave way to Siega's form, the mechanical, mannequin-esque Navi kneeling down to look at the clearing before him.
After NapalmMan decided he needed time more than he wanted a new apprentice, Siega decided to hunt down the only other Navi he knew. While aware of his own abilities and confident in them, the level of power NapalmMan and the fiery Embera displayed could not be ignored. If he wanted to be able to safely collect material data, and learn more about the world about him, he would have to find someone to travel with.
Seeing Embera, in her black slag armor, first, and then seeing the plain boxer-navi second, Siega was almost prepared to jump off of the tree when a voice resounded from below. Glancing down, he noticed a Navi he hadn't before; was he simply not paying attention to his data signature? He must've been so keen on targeting down Embera, he had missed him.
His lenses dilated inward, thinking. The last time he had interrupted Embera in a conversation, she had plastered him to a wall. That memory was rather fresh in his mind. For the time being, he would lay low. Gripping a hold of the tree next to him, he absorbed some of its material data, and shifted the whole of his body into wood, the material expanding across his plain white surface and even over the black cords of his frame. Once his whole form was wood, he melded with the base of the tree, merging with the trunk until he and the tree were one, so that he didn't stand out.

*Embera laughed heartily as she returned Challenger's hug. It was great seeing old habits die hard. Not wanting to get too off topic, she did nod over to the "boy" and spoke nonchalantly.*
Embera: I do have a few words with the boy, but I'm not rather particular to the audience, however...
*Embera materialized a whip of intense fire and lashed it around the tree Siega was part of. Keeping it taut, she called out to it with no threat or real malice, but rather to prove a point.*
Embera: If you want to play the spy-game on me, I suggest you don't hold on to bits of my own data. I've done doppelgangers for far too long to ever leave my own data unnoticed. Come on out, join the fun.
*Still keeping command of the situation, she finally got to speak with Nightshade, the curious Juuka unlike anything she'd seen before.*
Embera: You. Your arm....it was a glitched mess when I first met you. You got all weird after too. I've seen that happen before, but you're nothing like the last one. What happened to you?

Nightshade stood up and walked over to the huge woman in armor. "Uh?" He inquired, not really getting what she meant. The little cat would raise his arm.
"This? Well...it's a loooong story. To make it short, I learned this trick from a way better polymorph than I ever will. Body mass displacement is kinda easy once you learn the basics, the problem is applying it to all the body."
The little cat would wave up and down on his feet paws, waving his tail around. He sould be on guard, but these two seemed nice. Besides, they seemed to have some knowledge on his newly acquired powers. He could understand not wanting to stir the beast from its slumber, cause this time it was more bite than bark.
"I just found myself in the wrong place at the right time on purpose. I saw the cybeasts get stolen by someone and Greiga bit my arm off while I was trying to understand what was happening, is all. Then something very bad happened and for a moment there I was so angry i couldn't think straight. I suppose that for 'got all weird' you mean this?"
Little Nightshade concentrated. Suddenly, a purple aura exploded around him, the pressure enough to scare away a few crows and crack the ground he was standing at. When the shockwave had passed and the dust settle down, the cat navi was now standing there with a completely different look. Green and red armor on a black undersuit. Red eyes with pupils reduced to slits and a very recognizable helmet design bearing a golden six pointed star. As a bonus, two spikes on his back and a vastly increased power level.
The juuka folded his arms "What do you mean about I am not like the last one? I thought Juukas looked similar after awakening their beast powers?"
Nightshade would jump lightly when Embera suddenly whipped a tree and spoke at someone he hadn't noticed yet. "...and who are you?"

Siega.CMD
He tsked under his breath as the flaming whip wrapped around the tree, only just remembering that he had yet to fully assimilate her data into his own. It must still be easily recognizable as her own data while within his stream. He instantly went to work breaking down the components that were strictly hers in order to make the material components fully his, and impossible to discern from his own data.
Still, it didn't quite change the fact that he was figured out. Before the fire consumed his humble tree, Siega separated himself from it, walking out of the base with tendrils of wood connecting his still wooden body to the tree snapping as he walked. Once fully separated, the extension of broken wood sprouting from his back stuck up with a unique visage, the wood coating his body indistinguishable from the very tree he had just walked out of.
Then, the wood sprouting from his back retreating first into his form, the wood he had adapted his form to all but sank away and retreated from his body, leaving him in his stark, featureless, incredibly simplistic grey frame. The ocular lenses that acted as his eyes stared back as the transformed Nightshade turned to look at him, and he looked from him to Embera, in turn.
"I had no intentions of playing any games, nor was I attempting to spy," he said, matter-of-factly, the slit on his plain faceplate lighting up to indicate he was even speaking. The navi was entirely without distinguishable details, perhaps the only thing making him unique being that he was utterly, disturbingly plain. While his movement was methodical and fluid, a direct contrast to what his robotic design would suggest, his body appeared nearly entirely mechanical.
He turned, then, to Nightshade, the lenses protruding from his face retracting a little as he focused in on him. The Navi was substantially changed from the little creature he was before, and radiated a different kind of data than he originally had. What was this power, or even this foreign data within his stream? It seemed erratic and uncontrollable, if data could be described in such a way. "As for your query, my moniker is Siega. I would request the same information from you, Juuka.

Watching the situation unfold, Challenger just shrugs his shoulders, walks over to a nearby tree, and sits under it, folding his boxing glove-covered hands behind his head as he does so.
Challenger: Was in the area, figured I'd punch down a few trees.
...a very simple answer, but 100% true.

*Embera saw as the navi slithered from the tree like a snake out of her grasp. How curious this time out of the Heap was. She moved closer to Nightshade, as if to put herself between him and Siega. She didn't feel any bad intentions from the navi, but she found his demeanor unsettling, though he did give a name to the form she had never heard of. Juuka. Remembering the fight that nearly took her out and wound up with the Armored Destroyer's first arrest, she could feel the aches from the blows the last time she fought Greiga's Juuka. Still, this boy seemed to have no issues transforming at will, it was astounding.*
Embera: Y'know, the last guy who could do that tore down half of Element City before he was stopped. I couldn't even come close to bringing him down myself. He looked like you, but he certainly didn't act the same. It was like he was in constant pain and turmoil. Something gnawing at his very soul. It's why I find your sanity so interesting. As I'm sure you've heard from lad with hands thicker than the tree trunks around here, my name's Embera.

The little Juuka glared at the new arrival as it spewed out his last word with a hint of distrust. He would have barked something at him if Embera didn't step in the middle of them. He would slowly nod at her words, still wagging his tail around to show that he was still calm and most importantly: still in complete control.
"I can confirmit to you that right now I do feel more...feral and slightly more aggressive. I guess I am the exception to the rule, the oddity in all this. Even after his death, I know of only one navi in the entire net able to control a cybeast's power like I do. I would not lie though. This feeling I feel...it's mine. Being Greiga's Juuka simply allowed me to...externate it and realize its hidden potential. Since my birth, I have been nothing but a joke to everyone. My fight capabilities simply were not enough to deal with the situations that arose. Because of that, other navis got hurt.
I got so...so mad at myself and the world. And of course I got power hungry. I began searching for something that could help me find my way. I needed something that could make others stop looking at me as some kind of worthless trash and take my presence seriously. I got beat down so many times I began wishing for everything to be destroyed. And then, after Greiga bit my arm off I could feel myself getting stronger as I gave in on those thoughts. I didn't realize I had become his Juuka. But accepting that side of me instead of rejecting it is probably what changed things. For the rest of the world...this is a curse. For me...this powers are a blessing.
I was so mad at eating mud all the time and that is probably why I can control myself now. This...rage. The others, as you said, were probably driven mad by this feeling nagging at their souls. For me it isn't something I try to fight against. It's part of me. It was there before my change and now it simply evolved into something greater. Now I feel like that with this power I can finally stand up for myself and truly protect the ones who I care about."
Nightshade shortened the distance from the black armored lady until the two were just a few inces apart. He slowly reached his claw up at her for a handshake, a confident look on his eyes.
"My name is Nightshade. Nice to meet you Embera. As far as my situation goes, I'm the new Greiga's Juuka. I will try my hardest to master these powers and become the strongest Juuka that ever logged on the Net. I know that the situation around here is a little hairy, but if have any question about me or my powers I will do my best to try and answer them, or even test them if you so desire.
I myself don't know the full extent of my destructive prowess, so your past experiences could help me figure out what I can really do. You and your friend over there seem to be incredibly powerful yourself. I wouldn't mind knowing more about your feats against others like me. Although maybe is best if we camp here first..."

A rustle of leaves. A snap of a branch. A slice of a tree, followed by a large crash as the entire trunk fell right next to Challenger as he slept. Behind the tree stood the responsible, a girl wearing a white dress that covered to her feet. Her hair was white and was adorned by a white headband. She carried a crimson red katana; the tool used to slay the tree. Though, what was most abnormal was where her crest was supposed to be. Instead, there was a vortex of shredded data constantly spinning and de-materializing in a whirlpool fashion. She scanned the area with a neutral but serious face.
At Challenger before her. Then at Siega. Then at the beast. Then at the beauty before the beast. Then back to the beast.
She squinted. The presence of this strength felt familiar but it was on a whole new level. Tracing it here she thought that Nightshade would be here as well, thinking maybe a villain would be about that as ONB he would have to take care of. But then again, this is Netopia. He has no jurisdiction here, so it couldn't be him.
Before Inori started to turn and walk away she caught a glimpse of the beast's eyes, and her serious countenance melted into a look of horror as she also was taken aback, as if a hideous, giant cricket just jumped in front of her. She spoke slowly, the fear wrapped in her voice:
"N-night... Nightcat... wha.. is.. is that.. you? What.. what ARE you..."

This is when a flash of green ignites like fire behind Inori and a figure leaps up behind her, yelling like a banchee.
Edge: HE'S DA BOOGIEMAN!!!
Its this outburst, not the tree falling, that causes Challenger to open an eye and look around to see the newcomers.
Challenger:Hey Edge.
Edge just walks into the clearing in as casual a manner as possible, sitting there like he'd been there the whole time.
Edge: Hey Challenger, good to see ya.
