Version off 7 battle posts Single judge
A fait, barely audible thud echoaed as Nightshade's paws hit the floor. The cat navi stood up and walked forward, exibiting his stealthy feline traits to his opponent. He stopped a few meters away and examined who was standing in front of him. His blue eyes carefully scanned the area, their battlefield. His tail twitched with anticipation. The little black cat wanted to play a little. It would make for a good training none the less. He has gotten considerably stronger, but there was still room for improvement.
He lowered his body into his feral-exotic looking fight stance, deploying his trusty claws. He waited, wishing to see his opponent's first move.
He could already tell he would enjoy this.

Before Nightshade was a navi in a bright pink suit and tie. From head to toe, save the red and white cufflinks at his wrists, matched in color and intensity. Messy same hued hair moved with the movements of the toy he just conjured up for entertainment.
Around his waist was the focus of his attention, a brilliantly colored, glowing hula hoop. Although he was facing to Nightshade's left, he seemed to be trying to turn clockwise with the hoop rotating counter-clockwise. His sharp teeth were gritted in concentration as he turned to his own right, his hips keeping the glowing loop's rotations going strong. With each step into his own turn, his footprints glowed a bright pink as his shoes made direct contact with the ground. The data from the ground burned and rose up as small pink particles that would fade away before getting anywhere above his ankles. However, none of the steps he had made ever did lasting damage to the 'net-ground', as evidenced with his black-pink footprints disappearing soon after they were made.
Such was the ever-repairing net.
Li-Pink wasn't regarding anything around him at the moment aside from the hula hoop and his "neat little trick" he was trying to master.

Nightshade lightly scratched his head. Was this guy for real? He wasn't even acknowleging him. Well if he wouldn't do anything the little cat guessed it was his cue to strike.
His muscles flexed, speinging him into action. Zig zagging he darted across the ground with astounding speed. He would leap and twirl around, aiming to open the battle with his signature roundhouse kick. Would his paw connect with Li-Pink's face the force of impact would be enough to send him flying a good few meters. Nightshade was a trained specialisty in cqc scenarios after all and packed good power into his strikes.
He wouldn't stop there though. Opening his hand a black sphere would generate and fall on his palm. He would begin to prime it for the imminent throw.

Air time for Li-Pink wasn't long. Nightshade would feel on connecting with him that his target's body was very, very dense, but also soft. Rather than registering the contact with anything that would normally be in someone's head, it felt like it was all just "material" that posed as flesh and bone.
When he landed from his attacker's kick, the hula hoop was still spinning, but now its owner was turning in its direction with a tad more force, sending the loop up to his neck. As it rose even higher, its glowing colors all shifted toward its owner's color, pink. With the insides of the meter wide circle now vacant and with ample distance from and granted by his attacker, he could easily attack from this distance.
Both of his arms rose up to support the underside of the hoop, but never touched it as the air around him condensed into a pink liquid. This liquid first started to appear just within inches of his body, but as the hula hoop's empty space began to fill, more and more liquid seeped in from further and further away from his body. Some of the liquid even began to wet the ground, forming a slow, but ever expanding puddle.
Amma...
It took only seconds for the energized hoop to fill up with a sphere of pink syrup, and when it did, the syrup itself energized to the same intensity as its thin, meter wide encasing. A final counter-clockwise turn and a quick thrust forward of his left hand guided the sphere toward Nightshade.
Zvmvi!
In its wake, more and more of the liquid saturated the air and ground behind it.

Nightshade let out a "ew" sound as the ground beneath his paws turned into a strange bubble gummy like stage. Thorn wasn't the only one able to shift the battlefield without the aid of a program.
He raised his paw up, inspecting the pink goop stuck him his claws. Then, the guy would launch a strange pink ball at it, something that he would immediately sidestrafe out of its trajectory.
With a *squish* sound, Nightshade dug his claws in the grown and sprung forward. The guy semed immune to blunt trauma. However, the little black cat also had slashing, ripping and piercing weaponry. In a seconds he would be right on top of the guy, puncing at him. He would throw the guy on the floor and pin him down. With that advantage position over him he would use it to drive his claws straight into the guy's shoulder, should his attack finds its target.

A gurgling sound came from far beyond the pair of combatants. More of the syrup waterlogged the grounds, as his heated sphere of ionized candy had impacted something and of course, detonated.
Nightshade's claws sunk in with some resistance, however each of his digits would soon find that they were being tightly molded around the insides of his shoulder. It would feel as if they were being held on to from the inside, rather than being pulled in.
Pouncing on the confectioner soon proved to be a dangerous mistake and sweet opportunity. Breathing out on contact with the ground caused him to expel a powdery substance - powdered sugar. As if it was completely normal he blew this substance in Nightshade's face and soon sugar crystals would form on any surface they'd connect to as long as they underwent prolonged exposure.
Li-Pink's hands however sunk into the syrupy pool that had at this point reached half an inch in depth. He was prepared.

The little cat was beginning to hate this guy. Not only his feet were now completely sunk into the goopy bubble gum floor, he had to deal with the strange crystal things growing on him the guy had just used. He tried to pry his claws out of the target but it felt like he was being pulled inside his opponent's body.
He yanked a couple times only to realize it was a wasted effort and he was stuck in place and slowly sinking into the pink goopy sea.
"Just what the hell are you?" He retorted, gritting his teeth. He had to get out of there before he would be overwhelmed. He tried again and again and again and again. But nothing. He was really stuck there. He had to improvise something or risk getting trapped.

When the syrup rose high enough to reach his own eyes, Li-Pink seemed to just melt away into the syrup. With the physical contact between the two broken, Nightshade was free to move, even with the sweet substance easily at ankle level at the moment.
The syrup, still pink like its creator, darkened a tad as its temperature rose, causing bubbles to come to the surface. The bubbles rose up several feet into the air before popping and dispersing into the air and back onto the sea of developing caramel that thickened.
Far off to his left, the confectioner rose from the sea of sugar, kneeling with his left hand in the syrup, the other hand holding what looked to be a simple spear. It seemed he was having difficulty pulling something out from the sugary shallows.

Nightshade would have loved to stamp his paw into the guys face, but he was a little stuck at the moment. He struggled to free himself from the sugar crystals, but he managed. The syrup he was slowly sining in was incredibly sticky, greatly reducing his speed with added friction. The most interesting feature of the goopy terrain was that it shutted off his FloatShoes. Usually, his boots allowed him to run on almost all kinds of terrain. Water, poison, lava...everything.
The cat turned around and growled at the pink guy. He was getting angry and frustrated. Nothing seemed to work on that guy. If he wanted to turn this battle around he had to get the goopy slime off his paws first and then think of a way as to actually make his blows effective against a guy that seemed like he was made by jello.

The syrup began to churn around Nightshade as Li-Pink began to stand with what looked to be a large fin gripped at the base with his left hand. Like a water spout, the syrup slowly began to rise into what eventually would be a whirling column of liquid sugar-water, a sweet modification to classic AquaTowr.
It took him a few clockwise turns to manage to fling the rest of the 10 foot rock-candy swordfish he had conjured up from the syrup. When the fish touched the wall of syrup, more of them seem to just jump out from the waters, some at their target, some just breaching the moving water's surface.

Nightshade had finally wiggled out of the crystal just in time...to get swarmed by a bunch of candy fishes. While his paws were sinking in syrup, his speed lowered he still had good control of his upper body. Arms and tail worked in unison to swat away the nearest threats approaching him. He growled in frustration.
He had to go on the offensive or this was gonna turn into a losing fight. He would have to use all of his power, but against this mysterious candy guy it was best to simply soak and shock him first then find a way to beat him up for good.
The cat navi focused his power inward. No more time to play games.

Any fish that found its way out of the whorl of sugary liquid would break apart into small geometric shapes of sugar. Pyramids, cubes, even twenty-faced hedrons littered the ground with Nightshade's efforts, until there were none left. The tower of syrup still raged on however, now with no occupants.
It's creator gripped his spear with both hands, applied it and broke it. Straight up and through the middle the spear broke. Horizontally at that, as if it was some kind of chocolate bar to share. A few swings and the candy molded itself back into its previous, unbroken form. Smaller, thinner, but whole all the same.

Nightshade was barely able to survive the onslaught, all diry in thick syrup. Sinking in to almost his knees if still he constatly had to move around. He would then risk it all on a pounce to throw the enemy on the floor and pin him down so that he could strike a lethal hit if needed. Problem was actually getting close. This guy had powers he never saw before. Nighthsade was not so sure about his victory.
"Eh...you're pretty strong! What's your name?"
