The streets of Rammount City were always hustling and bustling with traffic. Seemed like a new shopping center or business was opening up every week, nowadays. This city was quite the tourist attraction, which isn't surprising when you stop to think about how many other cities are built out of a mountain. They call this place "the information hub" because of the diversity of people that live here. If you ever wanted to know anything, they say someone here is bound to be able to tell you, so it's a pretty great place to live.
Unless your job is to collect information for other people, ofcourse. If you don't know all the information that anybody could find on the streets and then some, it was pretty hard to make a living off trying to sell it. And that was the situation Shine found herself in. She'd have better luck trying to sell water in the middle of the ocean.
But regardless, she tried day in and day out to find somebody who would be willing to hire her just so that she could at least build up on her talent or even her reputation at this point. Being a spy was hard in a time when secrets weren't really as secret, even despite the propaganda of the political world. Everyone knew everything in a town like this, it seemed.
So here she was again, traversing through the crowded streets with eyes and ears peeled for anybody with so much as a perplexed look on their face that she could swindle into a cheeky bargain: information they needed for money she needed. Business was quite tough here, considering all the competition, but Shine was nothing if not persistent.

"Pardon." A hollow sounding voice would reply towards Shine. The Navi it originated from appeared to be average height, wearing a dark cloak that hid most of its body aside from the knight like helm covering its head. He had not been paying attention and brushed into Shine as he too walked the busy streets of Rammount City.
The Navi had stopped a step or two after the contact, and seemed preoccupied as he swept his gaze to and fro, as if he was looking for something specific. After a breath of time, he would tilt his head up slightly as his gaze moved back and forth. Finally after another moment, his head lowered as he shook his head slightly, as if giving up on what ever search there may have been.
With out another thought to the other Navi he had bumped into, he began to slowly walk off deeper into the city.

Shine wasn't too bothered by the brushing into of strangers. It was a fairly crowded area, so it'd be pretty awkward to say it wasn't commonplace anyway. There were the types that apologized for it, then there were the types that would tell the other to "watch where they're going", and then there were the types that just didn't acknowledge it altogether. Shine was of the last variant.
Normally she'd just keep silently moving along, but an opportunity finally presented itself that she couldn't ignore! Upon seeing the aimless gestures of the stranger, she quickly retraced her steps to cut him off before he could get lost deeper in the city. "You seem lost. Looking for something?"

The cloaked Navi still seemed to be absentminded. Even after Shine cut him off, he almost walked into her a second time before catching himself. "Pardon." He said as he took a step back to what seemed to be proper conversing distance. "Lost. No, I do not believe so. Looking? Always." A nod accompanying the last part of his response.
After a moment, the Navi would tilt his head slightly to the side, his voice coming forth once more. "You ask...why?"

Shine grinned a little at the man's response. She could probably work from there. "To help of course. Depending on what it is you're looking for." "But not for free", she wanted to say. But it was too early to pitch a sale just yet. Afterall, she didn't want to come off as an amateur, and certainly didn't want to show how desperate she was for the opportunity to get paid. Professionalism was a necessity here, so she knew better than to jump the gun.

A moment passed, as the cloaked Navi seemed to perhaps process what the other had said. Finally he righted his head as it responded. "Help? Two possibilities. You know me? Or you hunt?" The voice seemed less hollow this time around, his interest, and attention finally in place with the Navi before him.

Shine shrugged. "Well I don't know you, but I guess you could call me a type of hunter." Information-hunter was really stretching it, but it was worth a shot. "Besides, I don't mind helping a stranger. I'm sure I could find out everything about you if I really wanted to, anyway." She hoped she had said that nonchalantly enough to not sound creepy. If so, then the "not knowing him" excuse was at least off the table in case this "information-hunter" masquerade didn't work.

A hand that appears to be covered in cracked ice emerges from under the cloak, resting near the bottom of the helm, a gesture not unlike rubbing ones chin in appearance. "Unsure if possible. Data Unavailable to self. Hunting is enjoyable though."
The frost covered hand moved back under the cloak after he spoke. He would wait to see what the response was before deciding what to do or say next.

Shine almost frowned at the navi's response. "Not really one for complete sentences, are you?" Hey, as long as he understood them, she could keep trying. It felt kind of dirty now, though. Speech was a pretty basic function, and those who couldn't fully utilize it usually weren't the brightest. "So what, you came here looking for something to hunt? Chose a pretty questionable place to start your search if you ask me." Then again, if he didn't even know himself, maybe she could sell that information to him. Granted, she didn't know him either, but it's not like he could have denied anything she made up if he really didn't know himself.
But that was even dirtier.

"A hunt you say?"
A low voice spoke with a clear tone, though felt like a soft whisper. A navi arose from a nearby store, letting the door slowly creek shut behind him. His jet black hair complimented the crimson shine in his eyes. He wore a white suit, lined with black, and a book in his left arm, holding it against his chest.
"What is the point of a hunt without a target? Similar to asking what is the point of an amusement park with no rides nor amusement." Rosario mostly looked at Shine as he spoke.

The atmospere suddenly became a little heavier as a new figure showed itself. It was...a reptile of sorts, akin to a dragon yet without wings. His three toed feet claws poked out of a pair of graphite black fingerless boots, the latter covering his legs all the way up to his knees. Rosario would notices them as the exact same model as those worn by the pesky cat navi Nightshade.
Further up, you could see a series of tactical gear being worn...and strange green markings could be seen showing through his outfit on the dragon's thighs and shoulders. A long tail waved slowly behind him. A gray belt fastened a holster on his back, where a gun was safely secured. On the dragon's chest, the same graphite colored body armor was covering his chest scales, something akin to military vests. Purple highlights were scatters all over the expensive and exotic looking armor. On his shoulders, a strange symbol with three letters "NSD" was etched into it. The armor seemed to stop there and leave both arm and three fingered hands free, complete with shap claws just as his feet.
The dragon himself was towering just shy of 6'5", in a digitigrade stance, covered in a beautiful hide of deep bluish purple scales. They gave off metallic sheens in the light. From his chin, down to his chest and then up to the tip of his under tail darker colored scales covered the reptilian navi. They seemed a little sturdier, protecting the navi's core. To complete the look, two piercing eyes of deep gold scanned the three other around, pupil reduced to slits.
Thorn grinned, cocky, baring a serie of sharp fangs at the group. "Well well..." he spoke. "Look here who I found..."

As their talk was steadily joined by two more people, there was a commotion that was steadily ongoing. And as it was, the now four would find out exactly why too. A hawk-like virus swooped by, missing them by a hair as a ball of flame flew off and exploded, aimed at each of them as a brute-like virus was walking forward too. The information network apparently had a bit of a problem on its hands that no one else had managed to get to yet.

The purple dragon's reflexes were always at the ready, part of his training. He swiflty ducked, the TinHawk barely missing his head with its talons. When the fireball was thrown his way he simply used his tail to swat it at the side. "Oh for FALZAR'S SAKE IT'S MY DAY OFF WORK!" He roared in frustration. "And I would rather not turn this place into a wrecked poison swamp..."

The cloaked Navi was about to respond to the girl, when more voices joined in the conversation. More navi's were walking towards them, and he wasn't sure he wanted that. Managing conversation with one person was difficult enough right now. As luck would have it though, he didn't have to worry about it for long.
The first virus, something bird like, swooped just barely overhead. Out of reflex, he ducked, but honestly it was slow enough that if the hawk had intended to strike him, he would have been. While crouched down, he saw the other virus approaching, and the blast it sent at each of them. He placed his ice coated hand to the ground, willing a pillar of ice to form in front of him. The blast vaporized the pillar, but better it than him. "A new hunt. Strange place. Agreed." the cloaked navi said as he rose to his feet. The viruses appeared powerful, but that only meant the hunt should be that much more interesting.

Like the rest, Shine hit the deck as the bird virus flew overhead, then tumbled to the side to evade the fireball from the brute virus shortly afterward. As she got to her feet, she looked back to Rosario, relating their new situation to his comment from earlier. "Amusing enough for you?" It certainly was for her! She nervously reached back to hold the handle of her sword that was sheathed in the holster hanging behind her thighs, but she didn't draw it yet.
"Information Hunter" really wasn't going to cut it right now, so hopefully Rime and the others were as good of "actual hunters" as implied.
