Brian: "Missin' children, ye say? Well, I wouldn' be right in the eyes of Kord, or me king, if I didn't do somethin' 'bout that. Until we find them mission's tykes, me blade is yers."
As the Barbarian approached, he grabbed the two full kegs, and held them under his arms.
Brian: "The name's Brian O'Connelly. I'm a soldier in the service of The Barbarian King of Amberfall."

Falling Leaf nodded in thanks to the Bartender, picking up the plate of porkchops and taking it outside. Petting Lost Sun, he knelt down and provided the plate to the wolf, whispering softly to the beast. He returned shortly after, having his introduction handled for him after Loranth finally arrived. Obviously he was coming too, he was protection for the scribe after all. Besides, this miracle fruit seemed interesting at least. Though again, with such a powerful commodity, its surprising the legends don't span past here. Perhaps a well guarded secret.

Just outside the bar, the rattling of bells and a high pitched squeal was let loose into the air.
"DOGGY!"
Iesua, passing by, had found Lost Sun and knelt down to offer him a fish from her bucket.

Lost Sun happily reached his snout in and snatched a fish from the girl's bucket, chomping and pulling it out from its container. With a paw on the fish's body Lost sun rips upward, decapitating the fish as he chomps down the head before bowing to to Iesua, the headless fish carcass still sitting beneath his paw.

She's too cheery..
"Client? I plan on agreeing to no such thing.." Her voice trailed off as she looked at the ground. "I plan on going alone, reward or not."
She fixed her hair as she turned from them, looking down still. Her back revealed a rather large bow held against her around a loaded quiver.

"On second thought, I'll go with the woman here."
Brian pointed to the ranger, who seemed to be something of a loner.
"At the very least, I should be able to draw her targets' attention away from her."

"Huh?!"
Cresonna turned around in anger, walking up to the barbarian and pointing a finger at him, actually keeping eye contact.
"Listen muscles-for-brains, who do you think you are talking to? I dont need any sort of tank or decoy to land my shots! I'll have you know I am a self-proclaimed expert hunter of wanted targets!" She poked his chest as she said wanted, and again when she said targets.
"I even specialize in killing wanted men 'n women from doing so so often! Though it may not apply to goblins, I have hunted them often as well! I can handle myself perfectly!"

"Oh, really then? I'd bet that I can kill more goblins than you can, any day. In fact, I'm willing to bet 50 gold that I can best you in a hunting contest."
Brian felt the blessings of Kord course through him as he made the wager.
"Unless you're scared, that is."

Flint
It seemed that Flint's question sparked up a series of conversations all around him, as more and more aspiring adventurers poured into the seats surrounding the bar to jump on the information be was given. As he found often, the people surrounding him had better insights and ways to push the conversation than he could have thought of. His response would've been something along the lines of 'How can I help?'
Following the advice of one of his old teachers, he remained silent as the others picked up from his conversation. If you aren't sure how to respond, continue to listen.
The goblins were apparently causing a real fuss for the townsfolk. His not-so-formal training didn't give him any knowledge of how goblins work, or, at least, none that he could recall. He was thrilled to have more experienced adventurers with him - definitely more versed than he, at least.
He remained silent until one of the newcomers - a scholar, to whom the tribal man seemed to be contracted - turned her attention specifically to him.
A rare sword? Magical and powerful? That sounded like something exciting, for sure, but, he would've gone either way. Did he give off the impression that he wouldn't have gone were it not for the treasure?
"Villagers are in danger from some rowdy goblins; I could care less for the treasure."
Although, it did sweeten the deal.

"Fine you're on!"
She slammed her hand onto the table and turned to Loranth.
"Since you will have an all muscles no brain fighter on your team you have no choice but to allow me to join or else you'll never get anything done!"

Loranth merely gave the youth with the blade a cheery smile. "Well of course! The town needs saving. A bunch of heroes we are," she continued, even as the ranger and the barbarian went back-and-forth for a minute before the ranger turned to her suddenly then, offering her services.
"Certainly! I'm certain that we can accommodate you! We would be blessed to have a hunter of your skills with us," she added hastily, to cheer up and play to the woman's ego. "And yours too!" she spoke, turning then to the barbarian. It seemed that they had drummed up quite a crew.
Loranth scribbled a few notes down on her page then, before glancing out toward the door. "I think then...that we should be good to rest for the evening and head out in the morning? Or were you brave adventurers wanting to go tonight?" she asked.

Loranth seems to recall rumors that the cattle herders don't graze their cattle too far from town, anymore. The reason is that they are fearful of some new creature. Nobody knows what these creatures look like. How's, any livestock or people caught outside the town at night are found dead the next morning. The creatures, whatever they are, never leave a discernable trail. However, the bodies of the victims always appear to have been pierced by several needle-like claws.

Loranth knowledge: Twiglings, a mysterious race of sentient stick people, are the only things that could kill in such a manner, and be so precise, without leaving a trail.

"Granted, of course, the Twiglings are out and about lately, and they are not the kindest of creatures. If you do wish to go out tonight brave adventurers, beware of them," she says, giving the group a small smile and a wave of her arms.
