K-358 is a lithe, anthropomorphic wolf with especially spiky fur. The ends of the individual spikes on his fur are colored a pulsating green, the flowing energy on the edge of his spikes moving faster or slower in sync with his own movement.
K-358's eyes, orange and feral, are deep set into his face, and the whole of his body, while moving with the lucidity of fur, possesses a metallic sheen to it that resonates with untapped power and energy.
When K-358 moves, after images race behind every swipe, step and bite, regardless of his speed while acting. His entire body ripples with muscles and power underneath the thick, spiky fur, and releases bursts of kinetic energy at all times. These bursts of power are only amplified with the more energy he uses. With each surge of power, the energy in his body is visibly shifted across his fur towards the point of release.
--Personality--
His personality is a simple one. K-358 is rather well mannered for a K-Unit, and also incredibly intelligent. His intelligence serves its purpose in the field, but, is mostly wrought from the information he carries about his own processing units. K-358 is wont to be energetic, sometimes even frenetic.
K-358 is capable of processing information much faster than a normal Navi. Without the proper environment, however, his processing speed, and overall energetic personality, slowly devolves. Without the processors necessary to connect certain pathways, K-358 devolves into the much more feral attitude that many are used to seeing within the K Series. Regardless of his current speed, like the rest of the lupine-themed Navis, K-358 has a craving for battle and destruction that few can sate.
While he has a bit more of a personality and intellect than most of the K Series, K-358's additional character is just an extension of his purpose for existence. While intelligent and personified, he still possesses only enough autonomy to make split decisions in the field or decide on basic protocol. All of his actions are dictated by another, as he is a simple program ran for a certain purpose, and the completion of whatever task he is set to is far more important than any other alternative. Normally, this programmed unwavering loyalty would be to the Animus Syndicate.
In K-358's case, this unwavering loyalty is to Joker.
--Background--
K-358 is a tool, and he has a purpose. Reconnaissance missions, missions that require a quicker execution, and approaches that require a little more personality than the rest of the K-Series possesses are among the most common missions that K-358 is sent on. His purpose is to complete jobs quickly and efficiently, with little to no loose ends. Some K-Units are savage and without control. He can be that way, too. But, when he is summoned for his specific tasks, K-358 is being called on because they want something done quickly, quietly and effectively.
K-358's processors are capable of exceeding their base speed multiple times over, allowing his code to move at exceptional speeds. However, his processors cannot reach this speed by themselves, and they find difficulty in maintaining even their base speed. Instead of possessing an exceptional amount of speed by himself, the Animus Syndicate further improved upon his speed potential by causing K-358 to drain the speed of the Net around him, from simple world space movement all the way to draining the processing speed of other Navis. This ability extends to all aspects of the Net around him, and he exerts quite a bit of control over it. Outside of combat situations, or when it is unnecessary, he only drains enough processing power from the area around him as necessary to function at an acceptable level. In combat, or other higher risk situations, when K-358 expends more energy at once, he is forced to drain more energy from the Net around him.
His super sonic speed is two fold, for this reason, and makes him seem all the faster. As K-358 speeds up, the world around him slows down, and, even if he isn't using the drained energy as raw speed, he can also exert it in pure kinetic force. In extreme situations, K-358 can bring the Net in his immediate vicinity to a complete stand still, or focus the power elsewhere. He utilizes this control of his own and other's speed to his advantage in everything he does.
His background is a blur to him, as the Animus Syndicate does not simply reboot him when he is deleted. A backup K-358 is booted up, uploaded with a few relevant files, and sent right back out where the previous K-358 left off, so, much of K-358's own history, outside of important data files, is unknown to him.
What isn't unknown to him, however, is that the Animus Syndicate is no longer his boss. His loyalties lie elsewhere, and nothing seems amiss in that fact. Joker is not only an ally, but his master, acting in all ways as his NetOp, albeit from within the Net instead of from the real world. While he does not remember the specifics of the ordeal, after being tasked with monitoring Joker for the Animus Syndicate, Joker decided to run a small experiment and utilized his unique abilities to manipulate K-358's code to his liking. Now, he continues to spy on Joker, but, is actually spying on the Animus Syndicate for his new employer.
