The internet of night was a place that Serix knew all too well. It was a place that fell into a karmic grey area. It was on the normal net, but held the back door to the Undernet. Such a place was usually full of Darkloids and officials alike. Today, however, was a special day. A joint training exercise was to take place between a mercenary, and a member of the NeONB. All was dark, save for the light shining out of a few windows. Along the rooftops, one might spot a lone navi sitting with her feet dangling off a roof. The Navi sighed as she waited for her training partner to show up.
"When is he going to get here? I'm getting bored."
A few empty bottles sat along the edge of the roof near her. Still, she waited, watching for any sign of movement.
The faint tip tapping of claws scraping agaist concrete could be heard a few minutes before Serix's last comment. A figure walked toward her from behind, stopping short of a few meters from the edge. There, he stood silent, gathering his own thoughts, before a few shy words were spoken.
"Um...you must be Serix. Please forgive my late arrival. I had a report scheduled for today and had trouble finding the right words."
Nightshade then quieted down, waiting for any sort of reaction from the lady. He awkwardly shuffled around, dusting off the long blue coat of his ONB uniform. He was still not really used to wear those sort of bright colored things, with all their whites, blues and golds. It was basically a radical change from what he would wear casually. Still, distinguishing when he was in service or not was really important, as such he couldn't really complain. His NetOp even complimented his looks and even though it was mostly to easy him around there was a hint of thruth to his words. He made sure to show his XIFF Code, to prove he was the right guy.
"Alright. I'd say we can cut right to what we need to do."
From his upright position, he fluidly transitioned into his exotic looking fight stance, focusing on both the lady and their surroundings.
Serix stood up from her perch, walking slowly towards Nightshade. After a few seconds, her image seemed to multiply until there were five of her. This, however, was no illusion. Serix had the ability to copy her image a few times throughout the course of a day.
"Think you can keep up with all of us?"
Serix created six swords in the air, and her clones provided four more for a total of ten. This, however, was only the beginning, as Serix did not attack with the blades. Rather, she allowed them to hang in the air as she and her clones danced around on the rooftop.
Nightshade gave the lady a cocky grin, even though she would not be able to see it under his mask. "On the contrary. By using clones, you admit that you cannot take me on one on one. Worry not about me, for I always have the right toll for the job...BATTLECHIP, SHOTGUN, SLOT IN!"
The cat navi was quick on his offense, firing the Shotgun as soon as he announced it and sending a wall of virtual lead towards Serix and her clones.

"Oh, you recless fool. If only you knew..." He throught, before his mind would switch into "Planning mode"
Nightshade formed a dozen black spheres that he disperded on the field. There, they laid still, waiting. The cat like navi scanned the area, his two deep blue sapphires twitching around in quick motions. Once he had an idea of his surroundings, he lowered himself down before digging his claws into the floor and springing at Serix's face with incredible speed. Zipping past all the clones and zig zagging across the ground he jumped and spun around at the very last moment, very keen on making the lady meet his trademark clawed kick. He aimed for her face and poured all his strength into it.
