Oh hey, there was quite a bit of usable zenny here. He felt sort of bad for not assuming some of it might be counterfeit or defunct currency. Maybe he was just trusting of the host since the guy's name was Saint?

Maybe that was just the case here. Well, it managed to work out once. Time to go for it again then. He moved over to another pile that probably wasn't so far from the one he just picked through to add to his list of funds to see what else he could find in the piles of zenny. Either it'd be more zenny, hardly no zenny, or something that wasn't zenny that shouldn't be in a pile of zenny. Two of these were nice ideas, sort of? Sort of.

K-414 snorted as he glanced down at the item that had fallen out from the armor. "What is this nonsense? Jewelry?" the beast growled, but nonetheless picked it up, not wanting it to actually be worth something and then have Richard chew him out later. He had no idea what things might be worth, nor did he much care either...but his NetOP certainly seemed to. He paused then, wondering if he could get through to Richard here now, that he was actually somewhere instead of wandering through the darkness of the Undernet. "Richard, can you hear me?" the beast growled, waiting for a few seconds before getting nothing but static.
Wherever they were, Richard couldn't reach him here.
He grunted then as he began to turn away, before he paused, glancing up above the armor that was now in pieces before him. He didn't bother to apologize or anything to their host- K-414 was certain that the figure, whomever he was, was rather used to such things happening. WIth the rabble that they had brought in, there was very little chance that the wolven navi was the first one to destroy anything here. More than likely, there had been several before that had caused a great deal of distress and damage to this sort of place. Then again, if not, perhaps their host would be a bit more careful in the future as far as who he was bringing into this place.
The tapestry above the remains of the golden knight indicated the very gates of fortune that they were in right now, though K didn't quite recall the name. He was too focused on the fact that it looked too eerily similar to be much of a coincidence. "Then I can at least explain away to Richard where the hell I've gone to." That logic seemed enough for the Navi as he leapt, his claws digging into the gold inlaid walls as he scrambled up, using his physique to pull himself up the wall.
"Almost there now..." the creature growled to himself, heedless of any sort of danger to himself or his environs as the beast reached a claw out toward it... Checking: Tapestry above the gold armor he destroyed on the right So far: 700z Garnet Cross of Power |

Powdre's fur was visibly raised as je rejoined the commons. Wet with spit and spiked with anger; She already wasn't having a good time.
She decided to leave the chests be for now, and instead checked the tapestries above the leftmost golden knight, poking at it with her Katana, Wintersend.

As Shadow Labrys opened the hidden little treasure, a brilliant shine emitted as air bubbles escaped to the surface. Lo and behold... A key? Shadow Labrys picked the key out of the box and examined it closer. It looked battered but intricate. She stowed it away for now and returned to the platform she dove in from, returning to see Vytrex also returning up as well.
Shadow Labrys looked around to see how the others were faring. Some armors got knocked over, and someone else was also soaked. Doesnt look like water.. but maybe she was too far to tell. One of the vaults were now open as well, guess someone found some sort of lever.
She reached around her back for her axe, clicking a trigger to release it from the holster on her back. She keeps the blades folded in order to stand on it and use it as a flying board as she hovers above Vytrex.
"Oi, bigger buddy! Why don't ya grab a biggah reward while I check out the garden up 'ere?"
Shadow Labrys motioned towards the vault for an example. A vault always contains money and the most valuable of treasures, right? Well, that was the social norm at least. Shadow Labrys was skeptical, and would probably remain that way for the entire trip.
She begun shifting through the arranged plants above the waterfall, pouting over her inability to decide wether to treat this as a trap or a field trip.

"It's . . . a trinket?" StrifeMan lifts the golden crest out of the chest, holding it in the light and looking it over. "Hmm . . . a shiny thing, and it's pointed, too . . . for stabbing? No, no, probably not for stabbing. I guess I could still stab someone with it, though . . . eh, I'm sure I'll find a use for it."
StrifeMan goes to put the little golden Z away, and, instead, it fixes itself to the crest on his chest. He stares down at the little thing for a moment, considering trying to remove it, but, decides it was fine. Shrugging, he turns around and surveys the room - an open vault, the falling waters, piled coin and chests at offer! So many things to choose from . . .
. . . What was that burning smell?
Turning his head, StrifeMan looks down at his shoulder. Blistering and festering, it was just starting to smoke, and, a second after, it caught fire. Gloriously painful, yes, but, worrisome nonetheless. Taking a look around, he glances up to notice that he was dangerously close to a series of silver armors. He takes a few steps away, and backs up into what felt like another set of armors.
Cursing under his breath, the vampiric-navi prepares to try and dart away from the collapsing silver, only for a set of bronze armor to collapse on top of him.
"Eh . . . at least I'm away from the burning silver! What might I find in this warrior's garb, I wonder!"
Taking each individual piece off of his body, StrifeMan shakes out the armor up and down, left and right, like a little kid shaking his presents before opening them, cracking open the pieces of armor to stick his hand inside and feel around for any goodies within.
As he pieced through the armor, he looks around in confusion. Where was the helmet? He looks left and right, trying to find it, frantically searching. "Ooooh, was he a headless knight?! Hahehahehahe!"
The helmet was actually resting on one of his horns, just out of his line of sight. The capering lunatic continues to search through the bits of armor before him for any great prize. Maybe this guy got deleted with some blood on his limbs?
Or was it just him who bled? He can never get that one right . . .

An understanding was almost met with Saint's words. He wondered why the benefactor wouldn't just bypass extra-dimensional limitations and simply be "present", even if scaled down to the current place like he was. No need for an "avatar device".
A brief moment of thought preceded the blue navi's next action. Using only one hand, he went for the halo/circlet on Saint's head. Curiosity just had to get the better of him.

It was quite a shocker for him to find this. He wasn't even upset while finding some zenny amidst the mostly pile of bottlecaps. Instead he was spending far more time examining each one rather than just passing them by time and again each time. It was one of his closet hobbies that he picked up more recently, but hadn't managed to get deeply into it yet. This was like hitting the jackpot in its own right. He would note this pile for later and make sure to come back to it but until then he had to get back to the grindstone, going over to check another pile to see if it wasn't another secret treasure trove instead.

How silly. Feint had completely overlooked the latch on the other side of the lid. Now she just looked like a fool that needed help again.
" Hope you don't mind if I slide in here, I'm curious whats in these things too... Though if my past experience is any indication, likely all we might find in here is a large piece of paper. Maybe this one will be something useful, all the one I got said was something like 'IOU -Saint' And 'Void where prohibited, not valid in Cuba'. Never heard of a 'Cuba' Before. "

Come to think of it, that could have been taken differently. But it was still valid regardless, and she supposed her's probably was the biggest in the room after all. Maybe that's why everyone kept trying to help her open these boxes instead of letting her prove that she could do it herself.
She was known to be a little paranoid though. And haughty no less.
One could even add "displeased" to that list as the lid of the chest cracked open and nothing shiny was inside. The silly girl still didn't know the value of bugged data and even left it there for Desparado to take!

Only two large boxes remained. Meaning she was running out of chances to prove herself. She wasted no time in walking over to the third large chest -- it was time to get serious now. That's right: she unlatched all of the latches this time and tied her hair in a ponytail to signify she was about to go all out on some serious chest-on-chest action.
With both arms stretched wide so that she was hogging all of the surface-area of the box that she could, one could tell that she was really putting her back into lifting the lid of this one (even though it looked more like she was just giving it a really big hug after a while).
She exerted enough force to slide the chest back a little bit, but still, the lid didn't budge.
Not yet, of course.
But of course the struggle was to no avail if she didn't receive help again, even if she was convinced otherwise.

With haste, Powdre rushes into the main corridors, dissapointed to have not found anything of merit yet, slamming quickly into the large chest, locking eyes with Feint and giving a scowl. Reluctantly, she unlatched the latch opposite that of Feint, gliding the chest open with ease given her muscular stature.

After searching through the armor, StrifeMan was sad to find nothing. Angrily throwing every individual piece of armor into the waters below, the lunatic looks around for something else to dive into. There was that one girl's neck . . . probably a bad idea, though. Fun, but, bad. He wasn't even that hungry, anyways . . . his eyes focused in on a Navi that had just jumped into the water underneath a bridge.
Well. Going for a swim definitely wasn't at the top of his to-do list, but, it was something to do. The other guy seemed to come up with a new bauble to show for it, too. Shrugging, StrifeMan abandons his humanoid form to break down into a flock of bats, zipping through the halls to recollect into the body of water beneath the left bridge.

"Oooh. Seems I made a good choice there." Revved said to no-one in particular. A noticeable smirk could be seen from behind the speed-loving navi's helmet - he was really quite enjoying his time here.
With his senses alert, Revved couldn't help but chuckle at Saint's remarks as the others performed similar to his initial action here - searching around a few 'normal' spots...and gaining nothing.
Shrugging, Revved glanced around and took the opportunity to check out one of the many piles of zenny.
Keeping his pace, Revved ran over to a pile of zenny and carefully scooped it up. At least, he hoped it was zenny...and not another part of someone's collection.

The whole of the tapestry came crashing down along with K-414, the beast giving a low grunt as his body slammed against the ground. Still, the tapestry was the prize that he wanted and so it was the prize that he had received. Richard would absolutely never believe him about a place like this without some kind of proof. He stood, shaking himself off as he glanced over to the man, Saint, who was running this little show. "My business is my own. It's not up to you to put value to things," the creature growled, even as he took the decor, digitizing it for use later to explain to Richard where the hell he'd gone.
He paused then, as he noticed the girl clambering up atop things, and he glanced up to see if there might be something up there. A quick inhale told him more of the chests, more of the zenny that was lying about. But that didn't really convince him that he should go up there. Besides, there was still plenty down below. He paused then, wondering if he had emerged from here with a load of zenny if Richard might believe him that way.
Or if he'd just think that K-414 had mugged someone.
The beast shook his head then, glancing at the remaining items that littered around. The larger chests were almost all opened, and the beast felt like he should have a chance at these. It had taken several people to open them all before, but he could certainly do it on his own. K-414 gave a low grunt as his claws dug into the chest and he began to lift...only to find that the chest itself had barely budged in the slightest. "What is this nonsense?" the creature growled, his synthetic muscles straining as the marble floor beneath him began to crack slightly at the pressure he was exerting. *Since everything could be taken he pulled the tapestry off of him and promptly kept dragging it along with him now. For the time being, it was worn more like a makeshift, and flowing, mantle. He wrapped it about a few times so it wouldn't cause him to trip over it, but ultimately it was a prize for him now that he checked it and got nothing else out of it. And he didn't need any more armor so he wouldn't snag one of those sets. He supposed he should follow his age old tactic though of getting to the chests now. And seeing K-414 struggling with opening something provided both a source of amusement and a source of intrigue at the same time.*
"What, did you stop eating your wheaties, or is this chest that hard to pry open?"
*He decided to give it a shot too, going at it from the other side and starting to try and lift it too. Hadn't quite entirely dawned upon him that it'd probably result in an easier effort with both trying at the same time. He was more in it to prove he could open it easier than the canine could. A challenge as he would say, was something you should often meet rather than ignore. And that was why he was there now.*

Well if she didn't want it, may as well grab it. This strange bug data wasn't his favorite thing to collect, but some valued it quite highly. It would be foolish to just let it go to waste. Though more importantly, it seemed his would-be small talk was mostly ignored. An unfortunate scenario, but an acceptable one.
It would seem while he was bending into the chest to get the remaining bugfrags that were left, the other two chests already had a pair each on them. The woman from before with another who rushed in, then the wolf navi and the one who gave him a bad feeling. Gotta trust the gut, and the eyes too, this area was a lost cause.
But ho! It would seem a new area opened up. Up at the top it seemed one of the others got help from the navi clad in gemstones or so it seemed to reach the hanging gardens, and apparently there were chests up there too. Pulling out a cannon from his coat, much to large to have fit in there, Desperado hopped a little to get a rhythm, before sprinting to the recently open chest, kicking off of it he leaped toward the gardens, though he knew from this distance he was unlikely to get there.
A quick cannon shot into the ground below helped him though, the recoil bouncing him just enough to get to the gardens. He had made sure no one was beneath him at least, don't want to get on anyone's nerves here. The shot was a blank anyway, just needed the recoil, so nothing would mess up the splendor, save maybe some dust and smoke.
Upon reaching the top area, Desperado took a quick look around. Seemed like all of these chests needed an investment of some kind. He didn't have much on him, but there was one there at least that he could open. He got a small amount of Zenny earlier, so he took just one piece of it, a single zenny, and slotted it into the chest that had the single zenny notation on it. Maybe it was a sweet deal, hopefully at least.
