The wold was changing around him. This was his world. This was not his world. He had escaped to find this place and now that he had, there were several that were hunting him. The pulse of null energy that he had put out had taken the bite out of many of them. However, the armored one did not seem to back down, while the white-haired female did. He could sense their emotions. He could tell who was defeated and who was not.
But his entire world shook then as a wolf leapt atop him. He could feel the claws scrabbling for purchase before the words that were uttered caused the thing that had become the building to stop dead cold.
This knew what he was.
This had come from where he had come from. To reclaim him.
>I WILL NOT GO BACK<
The force of the words, the pressure behind them would be deafening to those nearby- K-414, Serix, and Esperanza. Those who were still not would still feel them, but not nearly to the same effect.
>I WILL NOT<
An eruption of force came from the thing then- a mixture of fire, lightning and darkness, seemingly all edged like a blade. He would get the others back away from him, no matter what it took. Even still, he felt his opponents still approaching him. They wanted him. The fire-user was using data from outside the world he knew. It was where the people who had worked on him were from. He knew that, and he hated it.
The Volcano chip burst a hole into the building of the several-stories tall Navi, but he seemed to feel very little pain due to it. Within, Serix would be able to see where Esperanza was, the wounded female Navi aiming to rescue one of the few remaining survivors.
The wolf too had not left.
>I CANNOT REMAIN HERE I CANNOT I WILL NOT GO BACK<
Even as the words continued to pour out of it, into the air and into the very code of those Navi that still remained, the building itself began to...change.
It was growing translucent. Worse too, from what Serix could see, Esperanza herself was growing translucent as well, from within the creature.
>I CANNOT REMAIN<

*Something that caused Xion's intense focus to calm at the time would be hearing a certain wolf of a navi. That was K-414, alright. They had enough encounters for him to recognize him anywhere, even in this mess of a situation. And because of that he paused just enough to listen, and upon hearing the numbers called out and the name of the Animus Syndicate dropped did he put together what BuildingMan presumed they were all here for. But that wasn't what he was here for. And the feelings that were sent out confirmed it as well. So Xion did Xion would rarely do in a situation: he was going to stand down. Trying to pursue him like this would only further aggravate the situation. He wouldn't get what he wanted, plus it was better than a few alternatives he had in mind. But he had to do one last thing, before it was all settled. No one could call him out on this one.*
"Then go ahead and go, BuildingMan! But you have a few things that don't belong to you right now!"
*And so darkness and more flared up and magnified, not his own. It was foreign, alien, yet at the same time deeper. Something that comprised the very essence and beyond of darkness itself. Xion possessed all these things and could wield them just as fluently as his own missing darkness. But this was more than his own. And the intent behind it wasn't to stall or buy time. The power that was flaring up for those close to him like Kajira felt like it was going to tear her apart before it had even finished fully forming. And when it did, it appeared as a sphere of darkness that was beating like a heart.*
"So I'll be taking them back my way!"
*The sphere started to grow, being amplified even further in power. The intent of the blow was made easily plain then: he planned to detonate the entire building, navis and all, that were inside of it. But then the sphere got smaller, as if it was being made more precise for its target. He already said he wouldn't jump in to save anyone, nor would he stop BuildingMan from leaving. But rather than leave Kajira's new friend to her unknown fate... he could try to end that early instead, while she had no power to defend herself. So he punched the sphere, launching it at the building and aimed at the floor that Esperanza was on. At the same time he immediately started to rush, slower than his usual speed given the drain from BuildingMan, next to Kajira as he picked her up and chucked her further back as hard as he could. He still had the increased strength right now, but his defenses were a bit lackluster right now, so the best he could do was toss her further away from ground zero.*
*And then the sphere would detonate. The explosion was aimed to engulf the whole floor and delete the weak on sight. If it didn't delete them, then the force could possibly propel them outside of the building while the upper floors collapsed. And hopefully propel them outside before the upper floor entirely collapsed on them. The force of the blast would hit Serix and K-414 as well, and even Xion and Kajira themselves as Xion was blown away by the surge of darkness and clean through another building. Probably because of the additional force he had added to try and account for BuildingMan's modifications as it were.*

Serix saw Mal starting to fade, and remembered how Jin had faded away before. She wasn't about to let that happen again. Without thinking, Serix bolted over to where Mal was, and made to grab her around her waist. If successful, Serix would then run with he towards the nearest window, and jump out of it, placing herself between Mal and the ground. If all of that happened to go off without a hitch, then assuming that she could stand up, Serix would do so. She would pull a rag and a bottle of alcohol out of her inventory before stuffing the rag inside the bottle. Although any fire based ability she used only fizzled out in sparks, a spark was all she would need to ignite the rag. Assuming a success here, she would toss the deadly cocktail towards the same window that she had dragged Mal through. She would follow up with the tag line "Assimilate THIS!"
That scenario, of course, assumes that all of her efforts were successful. If anything went wrong between grabbing Mal, and reaching the window, she would have Sara slot in the Z-saber chip, and cut a way out. At the very least, she would prove that she was not without use.

This was bad. This was very bad.
Kajira's body felt like lead. Her entire form was weak from whatever this thing had done to her. She didn't know, and couldn't know. It was incomprehensible to her, but even so, she couldn't just let it go. She couldn't just let things happen as they would. She had to stand and she had to fight. "If you want to leave, then leave. No one is stopping you!" she called out to the figure, the giant thing that stood before her, like some sort of guardian into sanity.
She saw Serix there, and now too she saw K-414, a being that she had come across now and again, and had never really enjoyed the beast's presence in the slightest. He didn't seem to care about much of anything but his own mission and while that had been much like Kajira had been in her original incarnation, she had come to understand that things weren't always so black and white.
Esepranza was...somewhere too. She had seen the woman enter the building, but she hadn't yet come out. Was she stuck? Had she been at the epicenter of that blast from the building thing? Kajira gave a small curse and had begun to take a step forward to go forward, when she felt Xion's hand on her shoulder. "Xion what are-" she had began, when she realized that he had thrown her back away...and as she flew backward, she could see a small, spherical black bit of energy rushing toward it. Her eyes widened as she realized that Xion was going to delete the people that were there.
The urge to scream at him filled her throat, but she realized that such would be better than whatever this thing would have done with them. Eaten their data, perhaps? She didn't really know, but as she landed, she saw a flame erupt from within the creature...likely Serix, before the sphere exploded, the force of it causing her to stumble backward, the pure illness of the energy that was contained within causing her data to react negatively, earning a panting breath of pain even as she willed The Storm into existence just before her, letting it take the brunt of the attack.
"That better have been the right call, Xion," she called over to him, the woman able to understand why he'd made it, even if she didn't like it. "YOU'RE COMING BACK!" the beast howled, slamming his claw down through the building, beginning to tear through the exterior. The actual navi was somewhere deep within, likely in the center of the building and he needed to tear the bastard out and bring him back to the Animus Syndicate. However, he noted that Unit 1021 was starting to fade. That wasn't in his debriefing. Looking at his own hand now through the exterior of the building, he could see that he, too, was fading.
"QUIT BEING A COWARD AND FIGHT!" the beast roared, lifting up to hands to slam down on the building with enough force for the arm to detach, the entirety of it starting to come down to the ground. K-414, not done, ran up the falling building and leapt upward from the falling piece, his claws clinging now to the upper torso of the thing.
And that, of course, is when Xion's blast hit.
The beast was thrown backward from being at darn-near ground-zero, but unlike the others, his abilities hadn't been affected to the same extent. Even so, that didn't stop Xion's powerful blast of energy from instantly disintegrating most of his maw, his right arm up to his chest, and his left arm to the elbow as he felt himself flying backward, slamming into building after building before he finally came to a stop.
"Feh," the beast growled, coming to stand despite the injuries, even as the data began to rewrite the injuries to his face and arms immediately. His red-eyed gaze flickered over to Xion and Kajira then, before giving a bestial growl as he made his way toward them. "This isn't your fight, Xion! You're lucky 1021 is acting rogue...damaging Animus Syndicate property will get you in trouble with the very wrong people," K-414 threatened, saliva leaking out of the nasty facial wounds that he'd sustained.

Esperanza pushed herself closer to the male navi but before she had the chance to reach his position, the abomination gave off a loud scream. Her eardrums was overfilled with the rumbling sound that Edificeman was exerting. She put pressure onto her ears to block off most of the noise and moved closer to the navi. When finally reaching the navi, Esperanza used what little strength she had to cut away the putty that was grabbing hold of the navi. And as she was about to finish, she heard one loud explosion, the floor started to tremble as if an earthquake has been shifting the tectonic plates. Esperanza without hesitation grabbed unto the navi to cover him from potential debris, and the last thing she witnessed was a bright fire devouring what was left in the floor she was on...

The small, fiery explosion had torn through much of its insides. Not that Unit 1021 felt it at all, but the insides was something that was formed of building, not his own data. He was integrated enough into it to move it, but it was not him. It wasn't him.
The secondary blast, however, came in screaming like a demon and as it approached, Unit 1021 did not want it to hit. It was going to- it was beyond what he could affect, somehow. Even still, that will that had guided him so far had been put into full effect.
>I WILL NOT DIE HERE<
The explosion rang out then, tearing through the building's data like it was little more than tissue paper. It eroded, and those inside, little more than basic Navi, were obliterated and deleted in an instant. Serix and Esperanza, at the epicenter, would almost certainly be close to, if not entirely deleted given that Unit 1021 had removed their defensive abilities in their entirety.
Unit 1021 had watched as K-414 has been thrown to the side, but despite the serious injuries, the beast still lived. The Animus Syndicate had potentially equipped the navi with something to survive it...or perhaps he was just more hardy than 1021 gave him credit for.
The explosion had shredded the building-like exterior, and pieces continued to fall to the ground. At its center floated a featureless navi of the dullest grey. Its limbs seemed proportioned roughly correct, but the right arm was a bit longer than the left, and the legs too were slightly off-center.
This was the Navi's truest form, even if he was mostly translucent.
>THIS POWER I NEED THIS POWER I WILL NOT DIE HERE THIS POWER WHERE CAN I FIND IT I WILL NOT DIE HERE I<
The flood of pulsing thoughts from the navi continued to escalate until a shockwave of force emanated out from what remained of the Navi before he simply faded from existence.

*This was a new experience for him. He sat down in the rubble of the building he had blown his own self into. First time for everything as everyone said for stuff like this, so he would roll with the punches. Pushing aside the debris and walking out, rolling his neck with his left hand on the back of his head. He was keeping in mind the words of the K-Unit, 1021, and figured he had at least accomplished what he needed to. If it wanted to live and wanted to do so by finding power like his, power that he obtained through not so good deeds, it would narrow down the potential areas it could go to. Only after it gathered its bearings however, because it was not so hot today.*
"I haven't made the wrong call that often, Kajira. I want to say I did good, even if no one else would condone that as the answer to their problems. That also came out wrong."
*'Did good' was a strange thing to say, but he supposed it worked well enough so he didn't bother fixing it. Death was but a temporary solution for them. For some of them, anyway. For others it was a more permanent release, but for navis it almost always resulted in nothing too harmful taking place. Not breaking posture, the crimson orbs glanced over at K-414. If he had a face behind this mask, he almost surely was grinning at just... the picture that K's face wrote for itself. He had done some nice handiwork yet again that he could be proud of. Too bad it wouldn't really stick with the wolf, but that was fine too. He was a bit more lenient when it came to terminating the wolf among others. It was also somewhat subtle, but it was clear when Xion's arm fell back to his side that he was bracing himself already.*
"I pick my own fights unlike you, K. Even if I broke some of their toys it'd be in both of our best interests to not go about fighting one another. Because I'm incredibly vindictive if people fight me for stupid reasons, like attacking property they don't entirely care for."
*There was veiled aggression in his voice then. Part because not being aggressive with K-414 was counterproductive when the mutt was already engaged, and part because it was a topic that irked him. Just a bit. It wasn't to the degree that a certain Overlord got up in arms about, but it could still get to him here and there. He slid one of his feet back then, to finish off what he had to say for why he had also braced himself too.*
"So in short for you to understand: bite me."
*Honestly he wanted to see him try with his face in that state... but he would definitely try. And that would be interesting to consider too. Besides, better to engage him to keep him from leaving right away to see if he couldn't leech some more information out of the canine. ...Also unlikely, but sometimes effort was worth it, right?*

<WARNING: STATUS UPDATE> "That makes two, then."
As Xion uttered what was the greatest of fighting words to one of the most willing-to-fight navis that existed, another was walking across the city then in view of them. A navi with all red armor with black linings on some parts of the armor, a dull blue shade of eyes that had a vein-like yellow coursing through them. The armor could barely be seen, as he was wearing a desert brown cloak over his body with the hood up, the eyes merely gleaming through the shadows beneath the hood. And then he lifted his right arm, aiming it in their general direction as three barrels above his wrist revealed themselves. And then, without any further warning, flames were spewed forth. The fire practically melted everything it came across, streaking straight for Xion and K-414 as well as Kajira simply because of proximity at this point.

As Serix got blasted out of the space that she had previously been in, her trajectory took her right into the path of the blast. Serix took the brunt of it. However, where most navis would have been deleted, Serix rose back up from the ground. However, the flames surrounding her turned black.
"Wow, does that sting!"
After a while, she turned to look over her shoulder at the others.
"You're welcome, by the way."
She cracked her neck and knuckles as she walked towards the new challenger.
"Good news. You just earned a one way ticket to hell."
She smiled as she said this, and continued walking towards the attacker
"Kaj, sweety, how do you like your idiots? Roasted, or Extra Crispy?"
The flames grew around Serix, catching on the ground where she walked, and leaving flaming boot prints in her wake.

Kajira gave a small pant as she saw the creature begin to vanish from sight, now. Whatever it had been...it was leaving. She could feel her energy returning to her, bit-by-bit as the thing left. But the tense atmosphere hadn't faded from around her, yet. Something still seemed to hang heavy in the air. Was Esperanza all right? She had no idea what had happened to her new friend, and she was about to take a step forward toward where the creature that had been called 'Unit 1021' had been. At that time, she saw Serix soaring through the air from the results of Xion's explosion, and as her gaze followed, she saw a figure approach, and lift an arm.
Alarm moved through her immediately as she clenched a hand, a shied of energy beginning to form around her as the flames began to melt the surrounding landscape. Serix...somehow...managed to live through the assault despite being dropped into the middle of it. However, upon seeing the flames change from red to black, she realized that Serix possessed the same defensive mechanism that her own body had developed. It had only happened once...and she didn't want it to happen again. She had felt so...wrong, like that. But also very, very right.
"Hold there!" she called, even as the residual flames crashed against the barrier she'd formed to protect herself and Xion, having moved to stand in front of him. "Assaulting an acting NeONB officer is enough to warrant an arrest. Identify yourself, Navi. Or my friend here will see to it that you become 'extra crispy'," she spoke, both answering Serix and issuing the threat all the same. She didn't know who this was, or why they were here, but regardless of whether or not they identified themselves, they were already under several accounts of Destruction of Property and she would ensure their prison time all the same. The wolven navi had listened to Xion, growling even as his face stitched itself back together as he watched the armored foe. His maw had opened, and he had been fully ready to lunge at Xion right then and there, when his sensors indicated another approaching. The wolf turned to the side in time to see flames blossoming out toward him. They were strong enough to melt buildings, but so too was he, and if there was something that K-414 did not do, it was avoid an attack.
The flames rushed toward him, and immediately, they began to assault his body, but even as the burns seared across his already-damaged flesh, they vanished as soon as they had come, and the beast seemed to somehow...become more resilient to the assault as the flames themselves began to fade. "THE HELL DO YOU WANT!?" the beast roared at the new firebug, his regeneration still keeping him kicking despite the massive amount of damage he'd taken within the last few moments. "YOU WANT TO DIE TOO!?" he asked, rage and excitement both mixing in his voice as spittle flew from his maw at his roaring words, issuing the challenge to the newcomer.

*Xion's eyes flashed for a bit moment as the lunge was coming. But like K-414 himself, he felt the flame incoming. But he was going to be too late to react to it in time to fend it off, so he was going to have to catch it. And catching fire hurt sometimes, he could attest, after two fire-hazards fought him at the same time before. Except they hadn't melted everything that passed by when they shot at him either, at least not on something as simple as pointing their wrist at somebody. So he actually had to extend his thanks to Kajira for blocking that for him. And keep in mind the gap in firepower between other flame users and this one.*
"Thanks, Kajira. Thanks to you too for meatshielding some of it."
*In response to Serix saying he was welcome, he had a thanks for her as well. He couldn't pinpoint who this one was or what sort of grudge he could've afforded to give this guy. He hadn't killed any of his friends, had he? If so that was ages ago, let bygones be bygones man. Ordinarily he would be the guy to jump in first to swing for this sort of aggression, but he had K-414 here. He was like, the poster child for aggression. And not avoiding literally anything flying at him. So he would hold his ground and let Kajira do her business talk first before he would engage in either assaulting fire with fire... or seeing if he couldn't push K out of the way of several of the incoming attacks that would result of their battle.*

He raised a brow, seeing that Serix had taken that shot. Must've timed the blast from the Harbinger of Nightmares with his infernal blast. Whether that was luck or skill was tough to say, but he nodded anyway. That was good actually. He preferred there be an additional target than not. The more the merrier they could say. So his introduction afterward was directed at Serix first.
"Oh, you weren't terminated already. My apologies. Had I known, I would've put some more force behind it. That was more trained on Xion than your particular build."
He hadn't even lowered his arm yet, which implied he clearly was going to fire again. Already around them rested melted and burning terrain, the blast that Kajira blocked, that hit the Feral Wolf, and hit Serix, utterly decimated the city around them. But the flames didn't build up yet, instead addressing Kajira next and ignoring K-414's own angry howls for the time being. Best to be orderly with this, as much as one could, at any rate.
"I doubt identifying myself stops your idiot friend or attempts at my arrest, but I'll do so anyway. I have been given the designation of Rosso."
His eyes then at least moved to the still healing K-414. Great that he could still take such punishment. The Animus Syndicate did such wonderful work. Their work, however, was flawed by nature. That was something that could be mended in due time. All it would take is a few words. And showing them the proper guidance that they deserved. It was something to discuss later.
"What I want is to eradicate you. You all, along with this city, will serve as my calling card to announce that I am here. That I am to be found. And that entities like yourselves will, like the trash that you are, be purged soon enough. Any other questions?"
At last the arm that was still aimed at them moved, instead going into a position to snap his finger. And so he did, a flame coming upon each of the now four navis that exploded... harmlessly. They could move or not, but ultimately it would leave no real lasting harm on them should they stand still or otherwise. Was it some sort of prank, after that first destructive display of his? And something that K-414 would notice straight away as this flame approached... was that his usual trait wasn't working as well.

"Oh, you have those hyper delusional things, right? Tell me, what happens when you play with fire? Oh, right, you get burned. Well, right now you're playing with more than fire. So, how do you think that's gonna play out?"
Serix continued that same wicked smile as her image blurred. After a second or two, there were five of her, running around the newcomer and creating a tornado of flames surrounding him. As it converged on him, her voice harmonized with itself, in a somewhat sing-song manner.
"Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack got burned by this candle stick."

RP:
"You're right on that," the woman said coolly, her tone icy now that she'd had to hear what this other had to say. "Well then, Rosso, then I believe that I'll have to introduce you to the dangers that come with interfering with the NeONB and their investigations," she indicated as she extended her hand skyward, as she often did. As the small spark of flame drew close to her, it crashed harmlessly against the energy of The Storm that always surrounded her, not even getting close enough to touch her.
Lightning danced over her form before a storm began to roll in overhead. "I so hope you don't mind getting wet," she murmured, acid decorating her tone as the rain began to fall from the sky, amplifying her electrical damage before she extended out both hands, unleashing a single, powerful bolt of lightning at the other from both.

RP:
"TRASH!?" the beast roared, not at all calmed by the words from the fellow in front of him. He wanted to tear this bastard apart with his bare hands, and there would be almost nothing that could stop him from doing so. He rolled his shoulders then, laying low to the ground, before a small gout of flame burst out toward him. The beast sneered, simply embracing the pain as it came close...but noted that his systems were not reacting as they should have been to this flame. "What is this!?" the beast roared, before he looked up to the other.
"TIME TO TEAR YOU TO PIECES!" he roared, lunging forward. He brought one claw back before thrusting it forward as he aimed to simply shatter Rosso's shoulder, before a rush of Aqua energy burst outward from the claw, seeking to decimate the foe before him.
He knew that flames tended to be weak to water, and he hoped that it was the same here. However, K-414 did not stop there as his other weaponized claw came forward, seeing to sever the ties that Rosso had with his own NaviCust, trying to lower the amount of damage that the warrior could unleash.

"...Come again?!"
*Was it just implied that he would've attacked Serix of all people harder than he would've attacked him and K? Oh boy, were those some serious fighting words that were flung his way. Closely followed by the rest of his words, if there was ever any doubt that they were fighting then that was tossed to the wind in an instant. As the flame gushed to life before him, he swung his arm and tore through his, eyes glaring at his latest victim.*
"I hardly ever meet people who write their own death sentences for themselves. World's a small place, I guess."
*In a show of spite, he held out his hand as bitter, purple flames gushed up from them. And these were what he fired in an onslaught at their latest high and mighty friend. A bit in hopes to see what to expect, while barely restraining himself from lashing out right away. Something that could literally be felt by all there, as the surge of force that was coming from him now made what he did to the building and K-1021 look like child's play, a dark glower to the eyes that could be seen then.*
