So here's an idea I had while talking to Xypher at 2:30 AM. NAVI ROULETTE BOIS!
So how it works is simple, you put your navi up for a one-battle adoption and you randomly get one in return determined by a dice roll. Say for example DudeBro puts out WhiteKnight.exe and TrollDude puts out BoardFlamer.exe, as well as NotAGirl putting out AnimeWaifu.exe, the navis cycle randomly, so TrollDude and NotAGirl could get either each other's navis or WhiteKnight, and so on and so forth. Each battle won nets extra experience and zenny, but not much, to the allotted 'rental navi' as well as a percentage of the earnings to your character of choice.
Sounds like it'd be a bit more exciting if you put your navi up for one of these 'adoption' / rental battles (Pokemon Stadium much?) and then others rent them. Then, after the conclusion of a battle involving your rented navi, that navi of yours collects the incremental rewards.
Just adding a slight twist. The idea sounds good. ^^
How would the roulette go though? Highest number would get which navi? Lowest would get the one that's left...?
Would that mean they could wind up getting their own navis for the 'rental battle' and then netting extra EXP?

After all Navis are placed in the one-week registration pool, they're all assigned numbers in order of their appearance. So it'd be like this, each navi in descending order is assigned a value.
BigMan SmallMan BabyMan ManMan WooMan NotaMan
So then all six participants rolled a die, if they get their own navi, they re-roll until they get a different one. If someone does not have a navi by the time distribution ends, they get an NPC of their choice who matches the version range of the other navis.
Incidentally, navis in the pool cannot exceed a version higher than the lowest version navi entered. So if the lowest is a V2, you can't have your V5 in there.
