Making this thread to ask any questions about Programs that undergone any changes.
About this one:
Element Adapter Passive Program Replace all effects and special properties of one element with those of another. When used with Normal Element, the Strengths and Weaknesses of the other element are always retained. Does not cost a Program Slot. Can be equipped any number of times.
Does this mean if used to change from Normal to any other element, or vice versa, there will always be strengths or weaknesses?
Yes -- that program had been brought up several times in the Staff areas as being "too easily exploitable" as a means to effectively negate Strengths and Weaknesses.
From one perspective, you could say that this isn't that bad. If you did't want to deal with the extra numbers, then you didn't have to. I personally agree with this -- I think keeping track of strengths and weaknesses is tedious (and needlessly so, at that).
But in another perspective, in becomes a "free bonus" that may lead people to take it simply because it's risk-free (much like the old Kaizou Card effect of years passed: "User's Strengths and Weaknesses are negated"). Specifically, it gives Normal-crossed elements an advantage over any other, so the most ideal Element to use as a base is Normal Element.
While I don't necessarily love the changes myself, I can't overlook this opinion either. Originally we wanted to remove Element Adapter entirely, but ended up settling with this compromise instead: - The Beta Version is gone, so no more free Special Properties (slot-wise) - The Regular iteration is kept, but with the Normal Element stipulation. This way you can still utilize the Flavor of the Adapter to better express your Navi, but unfortunately you can no longer escape having to deal with Strengths and Weaknesses unless you're Pure Normal.
Neither side is going to be completely satisfied with the compromise, but what's more important is that neither side should be completely torn over it either. And that's just the nature of compromise: we both win and we both lose.

Okay, now for the advanced stuff:
Tadashi Expansion Passive hidden program +1 turn to all hyper modes, +1 use to one hyper attack of choice, allows the user to activate two hyper modes at the same time (not stackable with Hyper Fusion) once per battle, grants the effects of "Auto-Charge" and "Air Shoes Alpha" Takes up one normal program slot along with the Navi's hidden program slot.
How would the red part work in the new system? Also...
Saito Batch Passive hidden program Raises damage by 20%, increases attack slots by 1, grants +1 use to two skills of choice, +1 element level, grants the same effects as "Undershirt", "Super Armor", and "Firewall", but lowers HP by 50% and forces the user to take 100% damage from all enemy attacks that connect regardless of all existing damage reduction/armor effects. Only equippable/usable by a Navi with neutral karma range. Takes up one normal program slot along with the Navi's hidden program slot.
Would this part also include Weakness and Resistances?
Warrior: Heyo. She sure is, more than ever I might add. I'mm'a hit you up on discord in a bit to discuss some things, just giving you a heads up ahead of time when you get the random friend request for that lol
