Out of Character Location: Digital Moon Version bonus: Off Posts: 1 intro, 5 battle Set version: 20 Judgement: Single
Space. A vast expanse of infinite darkness. Hollow, seemingly empty, and yet teeming with life. Planets of impossible size litter the area on all sides. Insignificant specs at when observed from afar and even some up close. It's here amongst the digital representation of the celestial bodies that the final combatants meet. Treading on the gateway to the holy ground of The Great Destroyer Duo.
Their field proper is of crystal clear translucence. Allowing proper inspection of all worlds that drift by while stifling perceptions of where ground begins and space ends.
Due to popular demand. Genesis and Zane are now fighting on a digital moon on a private server. Gravity reflects the real world moon. Have fun.
[Let's start with Genesis]

[Intro: 1/1]
"So this is the final arena?"
*A private server like this one was interesting. He couldn't help but test it first, shooting a chain from his arm into the ground and jumping up first. It reflected the gravity of the moon instead, pulling himself back down after. Some rules that applied to humans didn't apply to them here, but of all people to be his last opponent he hadn't expected it to be him. But then again, perhaps he should have known it would be. Both could cut loose here. Genesis would have anyway honestly, but this worked for the Inferno Knight as he wouldn't cut as loose in a populated area besides the Dark Colony.*
"This is a perfect place for us to fight. More than enough room and it suits his tastes more than anything else."

He had been all over the place through this tournament. From that odd Elysium to the Dark Colony. Now he was on the Digital Moon. But he liked this a lot too, jumping up and holding himself in place with proper control of his flames. Using them as boosters he moved about just fine, touching down not far from Genesis.
"The moon reminds me of that Dark Moon now, which is funny since you're here too."
That fight had been a strange one once it had taken Genesis out of the equation. But the Onyx Overlord had always managed to get out of facing off with him to the extreme before. This was a nice change of pace for both of them. Zane slammed his fists together, the flames exploding out from his own excitement.
"Even if you're my opponent, I'll still come at you just as I do anyone else! Bring it, Genesis!"

[Battle: 1/5]
*Genesis closed his eyes and smiled for a moment. Of course Zane would still go for the fair and square approach against him. Straight forward and punishing his opponent with overwhelming force was Zane's MO in any kind of fight. But Genesis wouldn't shy away from such a challenge either. The power surged through his gauntlets, the clear sign that he was about to begin his offensive here and now.*
"This Moon won't just suck me inside of it like that one did. Let's go."
*The purple eyes opened once more as the surge of power blasted out from him, the ground cracking from the release. Genesis shot forward to close the gap between them. Crimson light coated his left arm as he aimed to punch straight at Zane's head with the first attack, his right calling up a sword of black energy that blurred off, a series of slashes unleashed despite their close proximity. It was a simplistic start, but the power behind each attack was the same that he was always renowned for. But he knew it would take more strikes than just that to put Zane out of commission even if they struck home.*

It wouldn't just suck him inside of it all on his own, was how Genesis should have worded that sentence. Zane didn't move from his spot, taking the punch to the face as his head tilted with it, holding his ground still even as the sword cut into him. But he pushed back with his head and an arm with explosive force, driving back the Overlord's fist and blade in one fell swoop before he drove his own fist forward with his other arm, several explosions triggering behind it to accelerate it and increase its explosive power with the intent to punch Genesis and launch him away immediately after as a result of their clash.
But he wasn't done with just that punch, his swords shooting out as he slammed them together to form his own signature sword, the blazing claymore Purgatory. But the weapon flared up, the flame shooting upward as he brought it down, the weapon cleaving across the field and cutting in half the path it followed, the blazing path intended to catch Genesis in its rampage across the area. Zane had let the power of the Inferno Knight flare up immediately and planned to keep up such a thing from start to finish.

[Battle: 2/5]
*They didn't need any words besides what they had opened this fight with. Zane was keeping their fight head on for certain with that stunt he just pulled. His power had overcome Genesis' then, Genesis being pushed back and turning with it so he could use the inertia to strike back harder than before. Except he wasn't quick enough and Zane landed a punch to his face instead, Genesis shooting back just as Zane planned as he slammed into the ground a large distance away from the Knight. He pushed aside the debris with an eruption of power, black data flowing from the blast.*
*In Genesis' own right hand was Fate this time, the opening over with. But his eyes flashed as the crimson aura covered Fate, bringing the sword up to clash with Zane's own before pushing it aside, letting it cleave through their ground and shooting forward to close the gap between them again. Genesis launched a chain from his arm as he did, intending to lock it onto Zane's leg and pull him toward him. And then he swung his sword, a tornado of raw energy blasting out with giant spheres of energy around it, each sphere surging with power and planning to explode on contact along with the destructive tornado.*

So rather than try to outright overpower it Genesis had pushed it aside and let it run its course. That had let it strike the moon and cleave into it, continuing on along the moon as the destruction kept on going. It kept going into the distance, circling around to return to the blade. But while this was happening Genesis was on the offensive. And Zane had set up enough where he figured that this shouldn't be so bad. Except the circumstances would put him in a precarious situation.
The chain caught his leg and pulled him off his feet toward Genesis and the tornado, Zane tossing his sword at the veritable storm before he tossed a second as well. Both exploded in a massive blaze that met it and brought the clash to a close. With a snap of his finger several blasts triggered around Genesis, but the flame did no harm and returned to Zane. And that was when he punched with both fists together, a massive lion-head of fiery might blasting forth to blast Genesis once more if able, his eyes flashing as several blasts triggered at or around Genesis triggered by his eyes.

[Battle: 3/5]
*The explosion covered his sight of Zane, but not enough to completely obscure the burning bright individual. He recognized the flames that appeared first as they exploded, not flinching from the act. It wasn't even supposed to serve as a diversion, merely what had happened next: the great amplification of the next attack. His purple eyes gleamed then, but several explosions slammed into him, blowing up a large chunk of the area around him and damaging him. But he changed targets then, the blasts that were going to keep striking him fading away instead. That left him to deal with Zane's other attack directly.*
*He pulled down on the chain instead, aiming to slam Zane into the moon with devastating force and cause the attack to hit the moon instead of its original target. As he did this Genesis placed his hand on the ground beneath him, the debris and area around them morphing as it became a field of blades utilizing the moon, the terrain transformed into a weapon to attack Zane next, letting go of Fate at this moment. It vanished in a flurry of black feathers, multiple of the sword appearing and shooting off at Zane from varying angles while the sword appeared to still be in his hand, having appeared as though it never left his hand at all.*

He had forgotten about the chain during his attack, missing solely because he had decided to ignore it. The result was falling head first into the moon and his attack crashing into it, a massive explosion erupting forth. The moon was devastated even further, causing it to explode as a chunk of it had gone missing from this collision with the combined force of Genesis slamming him down. And then the pieces shot back as blades, flame enveloping Zane like a sphere as the blades pierced into it, but not piercing Zane himself. Even as the other attacks came from Fate it stood strong, withstanding the assault in earnest.
But the burning blaze that symbolized his strength had yet to be snuffed out. No, it had yet to burn its brightest even. And so the sphere exploded in a sphere that continued to grow larger and larger, tossing out the blades that had been stuck inside of it. He was inside the flame, his armor a full scarlet red as red particles dripped from his form. Flames formed around his neck resembling the mane of a lion, the sphere returning to his hand as a small ball, Zane punching forward with the ball as it exploded.
That was the trigger that sparked the Blazing Aftermath. The flames of the repeated assaults gathered as one and sent out an insurmountable inferno, the power causing the moon they stood upon to tremble and quake, melting the environment as it made its way to its target.

[Battle: 4/5]
*Seeing the flame enlarge as it had was a key sign that Zane had been preparing his signature move. But Genesis would counter it with his own move instead. His cloak flashed once, twice, before it shattered into data that flowed into Genesis, taking on another form for this. His cloak had become a pair of what appeared to be demonic wings stemming from a scarf wrapped around the collar of his armor. The armor itself remained the same in color but gained several spikes in a few areas, a mask appearing over his mouth. The symbols of Fate were mirrored on the chest of his armor and the cords of the Black Diamond laced about each finger, the crest on the back of both hands of the gauntlets, signifying the unity between the pair and the combination of two of his programs complete.*
*At the end of this, Genesis had six swords hovering behind him with strength resembling the corona of the sun. But the swords each went into the one, Fate gleaming with power as Zane sent out his absolute blaze. But Genesis would meet such a flame with power of his own as chains shot from his back and feet to secure his position, the crimson seals on the sword vanishing as a dark aura covered his entire body. He swung his own sword then, several strikes sprouting from a single slash. They were like black, massive tears in the air, streaking off as they converged on a single point of Zane's own attack, aiming to tear right through it as the resulting collision caused the rest of the moon to begin breaking apart from their attacks. The streaks had several more pile on after they collided, the moon no longer able to contend with this massive clash as it started breaking apart as their battle reached its apex.*

Zane was confident he had won with his attack just now. But it wasn't over yet, no. Far from it in fact. Genesis had met his attack and countered with one of his own, the collision of two powers destroying their battlefield. Zane used the flame to push him back, launching himself backward as the attacks exploded, the moon shattering as he landed on one of the pieces. As it turned out, a single Aftermath wasn't enough for Genesis. But then his was never one aftermath.
He flipped over his piece of the moon and kicked it while hanging on, propelling it and himself with fire toward Genesis as the power gathered in his hands, jumping off of it at the last second and unleashing a flurry of punches, each punch unleashing the same power as the devastating blaze that he had just unveiled just before. The punches continued piling up, about thirty in total that he sent off at the Onyx Overlord. But each time he did the flames were left behind, storing up and further building up. Preparing for an even greater assault behind the greatest assault that he had unleashed against him now.

[Battle: 5/5]
*The result was an explosion. Why was he not surprised? Still his eyes denoted a smile on his face, knowing that Zane was coming for him directly. And so he readied his sword, the six swords from before firing out and slamming into the moon rock and destroying it utterly in a blinding flash for most. But Zane had jumped off of it and came straight at him, Genesis swinging his sword to keep up with the momentum of Zane's own various blows. The piece of rock exploded from the first blow. They were floating in space, clashing blows time and again to gain the upper hand. However Genesis couldn't keep up in the end, two of the devastating punches at the end slamming into his stomach and chest as he was uprooted from his spot.*
*And being uproot meant he was sent hurtling back, blowing up all the pieces that he passed by before the wings spread, black energy firing from both behind him as he halted himself. It was devastating so far, but both had reached the point where their attacks were ready and Genesis couldn't afford to take much more damage either. Now simply came the point of using them. Genesis held Fate out in front of him, placing his left hand upon the blade as golden light started to shine forth from it. This gold turned violet before it turned black, the light extinguished and taking on a force of pure power instead.*
*And this pure power was to be unleashed, launching toward Zane as his acceleration devastated everything else around him. And then he swung, a massive arc of energy tearing out with pure devastation, tearing apart space, the debris, and everything else on its path ahead. The climatic attack between the two that didn't need words and expressed themselves through their battle. He wasn't willing to back down just as much as Zane himself. But with this attack he intended to win this fight once and for all.*

He was victorious in their clash of blows, as he had hoped he would be. But Genesis rebounded as per usual for the Overlord. His capacity to take punishment was pretty up there. But alas as much as Zane was enjoying this, all good things had an ending. And he was going to bring that end for certain with this attack. All of the attacks so far had left fire behind if it came from Zane, and that fire returned to him as it always did.
And then it exploded as it always did. He punched first, letting down a shower of blazing meteors. But those meteors all started to collide together, Zane launching forward and punching it, the blazing comet shooting through the space between the two combatants. And Genesis primed his attack as well to meet him as they clashed at the middle-ground. And the clash was glorious in Zane's eyes as his roar was bloated out by the thunder that exploded from their own attacks.
The power surged out and burned, heat burning and power destroying. Everything around them was destroyed in their marvelous battle but a few bits of debris way off in the distance that had rocketed off that far from when the moon had first been devastated. In the face of this insurmountable aftermath, only one would be the victor. And he intended for that to be himself regardless of Genesis' hopes, in the face of the Overlord's calm confidence was the Knight's own heated confidence. But which power would prevail in the end?

Out of Character The condition when they asked to fight on a moon was that I judged via hype meter. Whoever I was hyped for more won. For those of you that don't know what hype is...
Zane So many explosions but that's all there was good sir! For a navi with mastery of a flaming blade, the eternal flame, and a masters in micheal bay I'd presume your repertoire would extend beyond the common boom! Still a good show, and it made mincemeat of that moon with your chain reactions. That's why your final score is an "Explosion"/10.
Genesis Darkness and swords and chains and hubbub. You were only missing eye lasers and a Piston Punch and you'd be Big O! I enjoyed how you controlled all your destruction while looking somewhat wild. You met boom with anti boom and it was like reading the offspring of the Onepiece fight between Ace n Blackbeard, and some Final fantasy battle. That's why your final score is an "Anime stereotype"/10.
