Out of Character Location: Dark Colony Version bonus: Off Posts: 1 intro, 5 battle Set version: 5 Judgement: Single
The corrupted city that once was the digital representation of Creamlands capital. Despite the horrors the corrupter inflicted upon this place the city itself remains somewhat similar to its humble origins. Only a dozen muggings a day!
As is custom in this den of demonic debauchery there is no law against public brawling. As such the citizens are free to free, event encouraged, to get involved; and the 'peacekeepers' discouraged from intervening. Such is the way of Samhains civilization.
It is here that the fighters meet. A humble street bustling with shady deals and flashy signs. Reminiscent of the Undernet but with more structure and order.

As expected, a Goddess would not be scared of such a horrid place. However, she pitied this repetitive process!
Duck! Punch! Kick! Throw! Dodge! Repeat, but not always in that order. Megami’s steps were riddled with an event each time as she walked around one block to the next to get to the designated battleground. The female NetNavi had surveyed the area beforehand as she fought hordes of strange programs and a NetNavi, who was actually an opponent in this tournament, as she done so.
“These programs are so strange,” an open handed grasping and throwing an arm as she thought, “They are so aggressive, and I have not seen anything like them!”
Demons? She knew nothing of it, nor did she even quite understand the first time it was explained to her. Her mind was on the goal at hand. With each quick tangle with a program, she would cast them aside or inflict minor damage before continuing to run in the direction to the open plaza. The opening becoming larger with each advance, each demon tossed aside like a hurdle jumped, and one last step as she leapt forward and landed with such distance and grace.
“Megam-chan! Are you okay?!”
That voice was like hearing God speaking to her gently!
“Yes, Xen-kun.” she smiled hearing his voice. “I am unharmed! I can also see communication has been restored!”
Unharmed? Hardly! Xenneth knew a lie when he seen one...or was it? The violet haired boy had video display on his P.E.T. working again, so clearly Megami knew he could see the scratches, darkened, dirt stained clothes, and the occasional hole in her layers of clothes. The violet haired boy knew she was not capable of lying, so the only thing he could think of was that modest and loyal nature that caused her to feel as if her struggles were nothing.
“U-uh...yeah.” his voice raspy as his brain told him to leave the subject alone, “W-well...I have all my functions restored here in the city limits. I can send battlechips now! I will send one, so just prepare yourself!”
Megami whipped out her right hand and there appeared her signature, Khakarra weapon. The shadows in the nearby cravats and lanes crept at the edges of the soon to be battlefield, but they dared not enter. They would wait for the opportune moment and strike when they had the chance. Megami was oblivious of this. There was only one thought that filled her head ever since she heard the voice of that meek, violet haired school student: to be one with him in the coming fight and prevail.
“Ready!” she took a stand, eyes drifting about.
Would this opponent strike her blind spots? In such a place, the Goddess would not be surprised.

Intro:
This place always served as a reminder that life cheated you sometimes. He got cheated out of a fight, then got cheated out of beating the guy who started this mess, then finally got beat down by the guy who ended up owning this place. It was a series of horrid events that made him dislike the colony and its kind all the more. That however didn't make him just lash out at them just to do so, because that would be wrong. Sort of. They kind of deserved it. Now any of them that felt like fighting him he would give a thorough thrashing to and be on his way.
But it looked like most of them remembered him from last time so that wasn't the case. There were a few cases on his way here but they quickly remembered him and stayed clear. So he made it to the street just fine, noticing the one who looked to be his opponent. Not one of the demons of course and he was barely acquainted with her, but he couldn't imagine her hanging around here otherwise. So he went to stand across from her, not aiming to attack from any blind spots or anything, as straightforward as always.
"Well the last time I fought a lady I started it off, so I should change it up this time."
So instead he held out his hands as the flaming swords burst forth from them, clashing them against one another briefly as their flames intensified before he let his arms hang by his side, a neutral but ready stance. He would let her lead off this time instead, the blue eyes gleaming with anticipation to see what she had as well after his last fight. He had heard her mention she was ready, so he was too.
"Since you're ready, give me your best shot!"

“Swords?”
Was he perhaps a close-ranged fighter? Either way, Megami seemed impressed not by his style, but also his morals. In such a filthy and dank places existed a genuine soul besides her. The thought was comforting, and unlike most fights, she could relax. With a smile, a tender one, the female NetNavi bowed her head giving a courteous reply to the NetNavi across from her. Honor was met with kindness, but that honor would soon clash with determination as Megami took her stance once more.
“We will have to keep an eye on the surroundings and keep an eye on his sword-strikes,” Xenneth noted, “But I sent data to take care of that and I know what we can about his swords.”
Megami could see the shadows creeping from the movements of demons. With a shoulder turned to the fiery NetNavi, she looked to the open spaces where the rats would come from. She pitied these demons; their instincts so primal and basic with no joy beyond the wicked impulse. Still, she did not hold back as she lifted her Khakrra with her right hand and struck the ground with the base. The round golden rings made a chime, a glimmer, and then a flash!
“Blinder SP!”
There was a burst of light that chased away the darkness to the corners of the plaza and stretched into the alleys. There was only one shadow mobile amongst the luminesce shine closing in on another that was Zane’s. Megami drew close as her Khakarra vanished. She aimed to draw close to Zane as her delicate steps became slightly louder, the sound of clanking armor became audible, and the only thing that was hear next was a thrusting gale wind that followed behind a subtle kick aimed at the NetNavi’s chest area.

He hadn't seen anyone bow in a long time really, blinking for a moment before nodding himself. He was a bit confused on how to react to it, but he could tell from her smile at least that it was in response to his own actions and the uncertainty cleared right up, a fire seemingly being lit within his eyes. He would enjoy this fight after all.
She struck her weapon against the ground as a burst of light followed, Zane gazing into it as his eyes maintained their focus on his target. Her attempts at blinding him had fallen through.
He instead thrust one of his swords forward, igniting the weapon against the gale as an explosion resulted from the clashing forces, Zane unscathed by the blast of his own flames and unmoved as the explosion didn't have enough force to push either combatant away, just inflict harm on them.
This had freed up his hand to do what he wanted: catching the kick that was coming and adjusting based on the changes he heard in her footsteps in her approach earlier. He stepped a bit to the side and brought his arm to wrap around the leg that went to kick him using his leftover sword to take a swipe at his opponent's own chest area next.

This Navi was quick!
The Net Operator and the NetNavi both expected a swift swordsman, but the fire was certainly a surprise. The burns were certainly doing their damage, and it also weakened Megami. Even now, her form was bathed in a light across her body and covered the damage partially. By the time the shining clothing faded away, everything became apparent: her sudden change in fighting style, the blinding moment, and the sudden sounds of clanking armor. The light faded away revealing her body.
“Double Soul – Lop Soul!”
Her leg was caught, her movement sealed, but she had no worry. The instinct of a Kung-Fu six-limbed rabbit was enough to fill anyone with confidence. However, “I have to be more careful” was a thought that filled her mind as she could only think about Xenneth worrying...and then a sword aimed towards her chest. Megami had swayed her head quickly as two large bundled of hair secured by metal clamps had swayed downward around her chest area. They slammed into the sword with tremendous force that could be compared to a miniature wrecking ball to parry it away.
“Ugh..” The burns were doing their damage with each movement. They were in the worst places of all: the open spaces between Megami's shoulder blade of her right arm exposed from the one piece plated armor to her elbow and hands. Then there was the armor that ended at her upper thigh, but left space between there and her knees and feet secured by steel stilettos that gave her heel rise like a rabbit's back feet. There was even her hair that was clamped and thickened in two lops that gave the appearance of rabbit ears. Her fashion and design in this form left a lot of flaw to vulnerability as the armor lacked defense, but gave a lot of advantage to speed and power.
Even so, Megami smiled, weakly, as she seemed to be pushed by an idea to make her ignore the pain.
“Let us go, Xenneth! Full-Synchro!”
Courage...Determination...Honor...
Latin text was swirling around Zane as he was close enough to its epicenter Megami. Strength flowed into her more like a broken dink rather than a gentle river filling her with strength and a guilty pleasure from feeling a synchronized rhythm with her Net Operator. It was enough to ignore the pain...for now.
With one massive stomp into the terrain below, Megami caused a miniature quake that she used to steal momentum away from Zane. With that same momentum she gained, the female NetNavi used both the power of the synchronized field of energy and her balance to twist her foot with all her might to aim a powerful spinning kick to the side of Zane’s head hoping the impact would inflict some damage.

2/5
A bunny was one thing he never expected his opponent to change into during a fight. Nor did he expect it to have such force, causing him to be parried and let go of the sword in the course of events by the surprise. And that was after the burns. He would just have to note that she gave up defense for speed and power right now and go from there, letting go of her leg to have both arms ready for it.
Then there was that strange latin text. He was a bit surprised by it, but they didn't do anything but swirl about for a bit and then came the stomp. The quake caused him stumble a bit, which set him up for the move she wanted to do next. The kick collided with his helmet and as a result, his head. It ended up causing Zane to begin his fall as he started to lean over, almost hitting the ground until he caught himself.
With an explosion triggered from his arm, that is. The explosion launched him back up before he triggered another from the other arm, going into a quick headbutt to catch her head before she use those wrecking balls of hair she had on her head. He set off a chain of flames to serve as jets next from his arms and legs to go into a somersault immediately after, also seeking to use the time to shake off the throbbing in his head.
But while he was in the air he swung his arms next, a cross of fire blasting forth from it and streaking off toward the transformed Goddess that was his opponent.

Close and personal? She could take it!
Xenneth could only think that as the fight went on. Simply cringing from the impact of the head-butt, Xenneth did not worry light he would in the past. Urgency only threw Megami off because of their feelings for each other’s safety, but even as she moved to recover after the impact, he had to believe! Doing so paid off as Megami acted quickly kicking her feet up to regain her balance after tumbling back. Her face had a black mark from the impact showing how quickly the swelling had begun under her right eye.
“I can take the physical assault a little...” Megami thought out loud enough for Xenneth to hear. “...but this fire.”
The way her opponent utilized his elemental attack was simply astonishing to her. The Goddess could not keep up because of his style of attack. Close-ranged explosions? Propulsion? It was beyond her! It made her feel shame considering how she was just discovering the nature of each element compared to, in her eyes, this display of master. Pressing her lips together tightly, in a slight worry, she had begun to think of a countermeasure.
“Megami! Behind you!”
A slight interference! That’s what it was! Megami had whipped around seeing one of the demonic figures quick to leap like a carnivorous cat. Standing...stumbling, the female NetNavi could feel the sting of her left leg’s burn. Her right arm was forced up with her left in order to try to fend against the attacking figure...but this searing heat at her back. The Goddess could only turn to see a stream of orange, yellow, and red vibrant colors.
“Hiyah!”
A battle cry as she realized her right led had to compensate! Spinning on the heel, she had launched herself upward as she spun around dodging the interfering demonic figure and his cohorts. Megami had spun her left leg around to shift her balance with all her might. The breeze of her movements was like a God send on her waning limbs. Quickly, she whipped her head around slamming her bundled hair into the back of the demon casting him into the jet flames, weakening their strength. The next crash of her right leg was strong enough to smash into the ground sending a demon of miniscule strength off his feet, and served as a kickball as she thrust the very same leg out to make impact.
The demon was sent into what was left of the stream of flames that died down upon impact of its body, leaving Megami with a simple brush of fire that rolled underneath her feet like a thin spill of water. The only thing left was a burning and screaming monstrosity that was flying towards Zane’s direction with the speed of a missile and an inferno of his own creation while Megami put all her strength into slamming her knuckles into last demon who flew into a distant wall and became part of the tagged pain displays.
An unintended message reached to alleyways to any other bold attackers that would creep from the shadows to interfere with their fight.

"I do like my fire a lot, but..."
She took the headbutt rather well to be able to avoid the somersault that followed it. He was a bit depressed that his Flash Kick had missed its target. But he was more irritated that some of the demonic figures actually had the audacity to jump into their brawl like this. That was more than simply insulting, seeing as that also meant that their fight would be called off so he could deal with them instead.
But Megami was doing a fine job of that. And the demons becoming a burning kickball-like missile was worth it. Now he just had to deal with it next in his present position. A challenge, then. One that he would accept eagerly as the flames started to jet out of his heels immediately to brace for the impact, arms outstretched.
And so he launched straight at the ball, catching the crafted missile with his hands as he forced himself against it at the same time. His eyes flashed then to orange like a flame before the ball exploded at point-blank as his eyes triggered an explosion on the target, the flames not harming Zane as much as the impact of the bodies used in the attack. Zane flipped back through the air, shaking off his hands from the stinging they felt right now before his swords formed in them again, slamming the blades together.
"Don't go taking my physical assaults too lightly now!!"
And from it was born an unwieldly claymore of infernal might, the inferno within the blade raging as he tossed the weapon straight at Megami, the weapon losing some altitude on the way and striking the ground in front of her in an exploding blaze instead that engulfed the field in flames and sought to engulf Megami as well. But he followed this up by snapping his fingers as he jetted off from the air at the Goddess, a series of lights appearing about Megami as they each exploded.
Except these explosions had no power behind them. No burns or anything. They could only serve as a distraction by all the means of the word. But then Zane didn't deal in distractions.
If the opponent moved from the previous attack, then it would set them up for the blow that came next, a powerful punch that was sent at her stomach that possessed the force of several punches, the air in the area seeming to add to its power, the true purpose behind the harmless attack he had set off being to fuel what came after it.

“She isn’t moving right. She needs my help…”
Xenneth observed this as Megami made a hectic effort to keep on her feet…or rather foot. She danced around on her right making her left seem like it was ready to kick any moment. A fool’s bet if any! It was just as useful as her right hand. Still, the Goddess had kept up the front as she moved readily to avoid attacks. It could only last so long as half her limbs meant half her speed. Just as she felt she figured out her opponent’s attack, there came his declaration.
What was it he said now?
"Don't go taking my physical assaults too lightly now!!"
Simultaneously, Net Operator and NetNavi frowned.
It was a very fair warning. The size of the claymore, the sight of its form, and Megami’s own body screamed in unison that a hit from that attack would be devastating. The Goddess leapt back quickly as she was seen it…thrown? Reflexes kicked in as she dodged. She did not expect such a tactic as the blade slammed into the ground. However, she winced just seeing its massive form imbed into the plaza while she soared backwards from the dodge.
“I believe the words are ‘too easy’…?”
A firestorm erupted from the blade, brushing over Megami’s form as she was overtaken. Her eyes were wide open seeing the bright blinding crimson colors and her skin was could feel searing heat. Just before she could feel the fire burn her very nerves, she could feel something press it back. There was a powerful force emanating from her body, a sound that was as sweet as a merciful God promising her protection, and what was close to a miracle for her right before her eyes…
“Tsuki & Yomi, Mega chip in! Download!”
There the flames were quickly dispelled as Megami was sent winding back from the blast of fire. In the place amidst the inferno was a child-like form of a young female spinning a long spear like a baton that cut the air. Behind the female was another form that was a male who was standing behind the female in a clingy, secure manner. One could even say they seemed like siblings. The young male smiled warmly at Megami who flew back, while the female frowned while fanning the flames with funneling winds from her weapon. However, eventually, they vanished slowly as the flames dyed down saving Megami, but draining their power.
The Goddess slammed into the terrain as the pressure was still enough to do its damage. Just as when she was about to recover, push herself up from the ground, it was then she felt a powerful impact to her stomach that pinned her. Megami.
“Ahhh!”
The one punch felt like the hit of many at once. Her eyes could hardly believe that this NetNavi, while she was in this form, had gotten so close so quickly and carried out his warning. She had barely the strength to push herself up as the breath was taken out of her, and not to mention her limbs made it difficult to even retaliate. The female NetNavi had looked to her aggressor as she met his eyes for the first time. Amongst the chaos, she finally took notice of his expression…and smiled…
“You…are…are right…” she spoke between her heavy breathes as she collected her air. She gentlycuffed her hands weakly around Zane’s wrist after the impact of his punch. “…however…you should not…not go taking Xen-kun, lightly…either!”
“Soul Phoenix! Giga chip in, download!”
Megami’s grip upon Zane’s wrist became tight and the screech of a bird unlike any other cried throughout the reaches of the Dark colony after the young boy cried out. From the very building behind Megami, there was a large avian creature that emerged from the wall behind the female sending debris flying forth. They were mere pebbles, but the powerful light that emerged from the creature was nothing to be taken lightly.
Pulsating waves of light sent out blasts forth engulfing the plaza and everything in it. Distant creatures of the dark were no more as they were sent scurrying from the sheer mounting blasts of radiant aura that were sent flying about, and to Zane, they shown no mercy as they rained down upon himself and Megami who was cloaked in the same light of the Phoenix. Taking her right leg and bending it back with little strength Megami had, she attempted to kick Zane off (even gently with her weak body) into the shower of energy that rained forth.
“I am not done…yet…” she thought, “Not while I have Xen-kun here…fighting with me…”

((Haha, that's fine. Zane + real dodging = no go in general lol.))
4/5
He was a little disappointed in his throwing arm for claymore attack, looking back on it. Clearly his grip hadn't recovered as much as he would have liked when he did the move, seeing it not hit its mark like he wanted it to. But it had done its job if nothing else so he supposed that was fine. Except it turned out that dashing in after his attack also was meant by being mildly surprised by yet another transformation.
No, not just a transformation. She had said something then. Tsuki and Yomi? He didn't know what that meant, but it must have been what was behind the male that was there as well as the other female then. He would keep their wind in mind given that it had staved off even his Purgatory just then.
But his punch had landed as planned at least, his dull blue eyes showing a bit of joy behind them. He was glad that she was able to keep going after that attack. But when she weakly gripped his wrist he figured that she was just trying to keep him in place, planning to just strike with his other arm instead. Until she finished speaking, that is. That was when her grip suddenly gained strength.
"Huh!?"
It was right after that he heard the screeching, his eyes darting to and from to find its source. Then it just tore through the building behind Megami, the Inferno Knight's eyes widening as a result. Rather than punch like he had planned before he raised his other arm to try and shield himself from the waves of light to no avail, his body being assaulted by some of the initial waves it sent forth. Then he suffered for taking his eyes off of her, feeling the weak kick, but accomplishing its desired effect.
"Oh crap!"
He was sent off just enough to meet the shower of energy, being engulfed in its light and power as the cloak he wore was destroyed rather quickly in the attack. Being swallowed in the light, he could feel his body being devastated much like everything else had in the assault that came from this avian creature of lore. But he couldn't break free of it just yet... so he would just have to endure it until the attack ended instead.
He let the flames blaze off from his body, attempting to use them in some way to fight off the light. But at the same time power could be felt welling up inside of him. Except it was a well that was overflowing and bursting, an wild inferno that would be set loose to scorch everything in its path as soon as it was fully released. So even through this pain and damage the claymore formed in his hand again.
The colossal weapon however was not being tossed this time as he held it aloft. But what happened instead was the sword becoming a small sphere, like a miniature sun in the palm of one's hand. Except what started as small escalated at an insane rate, the flames all over the place surging up to the orb that became an insurmountable blaze to incinerate everything.
"Blazing...AFTERMATH!!"
He drove his fist into the flame, causing it to explode as the fire spread forth and engulfed everything around them, setting it ablaze and steadily reducing it to ashes. The explosion tore apart the surroundings, breaking them apart as they were burnt asunder. In this devastating light was a flame set loose to accompany the light, seeking to see which of them could outlast the other in the end. Would it be the Knight or the Goddess who managed to withstand the strongest attacks they had set loose this entire battle? He was eager to find this out as well.

“That looks dangerous...” Xenneth warned, “...and Double Soul is about to burn out.”
Two bad scenarios...but Megami was only warned. With her injuries as they were, she was reduced to scooting across the ground upon her backside while watching the display of the NetNavi gather his strength. She looked for a piece of the building (whichever part of the wall was not leveled) to push herself up as she gritted her teeth to endure the pain from the burns. Although they were trivial now, the damage was still real. Standing up, catching her breath finally, she had taken in the air into her lungs and took a fighting stance.
“This is bad...” she thought, “...I do not have the strength to dodge this.”
Dimension steal? No, the attack was unpredictable. A shield? Aura? No! Whatever this was, it seemed like it was ready to obliterate everything! Megami, pressing her lips together with a determined stare, knew what they would have to do.
“We have to meet it head on!”
Great minds think alike! Megami smiled just hearing Xenneth agree with her very thoughts. Truth be told, they would need that bond right now and a little more as she looked behind her to see the Phoenix. The bird had let out one more powerful screech as the shower of light had ended after a moment. The field was riddled with pillars now that even the demons had seemed to be trapped behind as they simply clawed, growled, and hissed. It was not the intended effect, but it helped to know they would not be interrupted.
The avian creature, like its brethren (or sister?) counterparts had a second effect: where one would heal, one would resurrect, this particular Phoenix (like its name implied) reinvigorated the soul.
“Then let us go together, Xen-kun!”
As if on cue, the Phoenix responded to the reply between the Net Operator and NetNavi as its body had become intangible and ghastly. Red eyes glowed upon top of a deformed green aura that was in its place. The defining features were absent and began to become humanoid as the silhouette shrunk until it was the frame of Megami’s body, and then a small flicker of light on her NetNavi icon.
*FWOOSH!*
Megami’s form exploded with an aura that seemed uncontained! The essence came from her body like a green fire as it given off quite a light show. Pieces of armor fallen from Megami until she adorned her beautiful silk and cottons robes again. Her hair became unbound by the metallic bands as she resumed her previous form. A partially familiar ring of energy circled her form once again...
Love, Understanding, Friendship...
Same latin text but different words among many that appeared in the pink ring that surrounded Megami’s body.
“We’ll channel it into this!” Xenneth exclaimed, “Cyber Sword, Wide Blade, Long Blade...”
“Power of infinite human potential in the left hand...in the right, the intervention of the divine that guides every last being on this land to their destiny.”
The battlechip data in the left hand of the Goddess pulsated as a sphere surrounded by text while the right had been a pristine, clouded sphere of light. One could be described as heavenly while the other was powerful! Megami stared at Zane who continued to build his power until the point where he cried out his attack name. It was a sign for Megami that it was time to act. Pressing the spheres in hand together, her wrists were submerged in a brilliant light that overtook her hands that pointed upward to the wave of fire. Instantly, they were overtaken by the blast once more as the flames touched her skin this time.
“Divine Program, ExaCannon!”
There was a blast along with the cry that spread the flames as if they were fleeing in fear. Megami stood within a burning inferno with her body charred black at the right arm and left leg that suffered further from the heat. However, the rest of her body was in question as her hair was burnt short, her face stained by ash and burned flesh, and her beautiful robes cut to a draping skirt at this point. The only distinct feature that was intact was the massive, golden cannon that was bursting out a powerful wave of energy with the compartments of the back being feed the ring of text that was swirling from Megami’s body into the weapon.
“Xen-kun!”
“Megami-chan!”
[smear:f0df24] “PERFECT-SYNCHRO!!!”[/smear:ff71ff]
The recoil was just as powerful as their battle cries. The flames were pushed back as a second ring of text left Megami’s body and flowed into the weapon. The result was a second burst of energy that added to the first and pushed back the flames that attempted to engulf the NetNavi. Megami was protected, but it could only last so long as the energy flowing from her weapon could only go so long...just as their wills. They held their ground: Megami’s very body feeling Xenneth’s pulsing heart over the pain, the heat that seared her flesh, and even the ember smoked tips from her burnt hair.
She would hold her stance just as she held onto her bond with her beloved.

5/5
As the light of the phoenix at last faded it revealed Zane's condition as the light dimmed down. His cloak was destroyed while his red armor was charred and cracked all over, the Knight's body stretched to its limits. But being at his limits in a fight was what enticed him to push beyond those very limits until his body finally caved in.
And this time was certainly no different. The Blazing Aftermath was burning strong, yes, but it hadn't finished its course just yet. It was an aftermath, an attack meant to be shown beyond the conclusion. His faith in its destructive force was cemented by the very fact that the power behind this attack had yet to entirely fail him so far because its power was beyond simply vast.
It was a power that would grow even stronger after it was unleashed. It was here that the red and orange, the golden flames was tinged with emerald. As Megami's blast spread the flames apart and came toward him as she pushed her power to its limits, his armor cracked further under the weight of his own power and pushing. At the pressure of the attack that had yet to strike him.
And yet his eyes still showed the same amount of excitement behind them. The same joy in that he had found someone that was strong and could give him such a battle. The thrill and the challenge that came with it were things he almost lived for. He could feel truly alive during these intense moments, yet it was always with another feeling behind it.
A fear of pushing it too far.
In his condition he would have to push past his limits. And he would do so with this fear in his heart. The fear that he would destroy himself as a result of his desire to go even further beyond. But if he could best this fear, it would let him drive out even further power. He didn't have the time to hesitate, the attack was upon him.
And so he decided to risk it all in this blow in the end.
He pushed his arm further forward as the flame that had blasted out had turned emerald around his fist. An ankh of flame shot forth from it that served as the trigger for the loaded round. It exploded again with even greater force, engulfing Zane in the flames and power that met Megami's powerful blast in turn.
The result was the devastating powers meeting one another in a brutal collision. His body cracked under the force behind it, dull blue eyes blazing orange with his full force behind the attack. And in this magnificent moment, it all came to an end.
The collision that illuminated their area dimming down over time. The area was broken and burned. Decimated and singed. From the power of the two combatants that fought here, their arena was in tatters. The fires still burned and continued to rage, likely to do so for some time now. This was the conclusion of such powerful attacks colliding with one another.
As for one of the combatants who caused this to happen, Zane was simply stationary and still standing. Whether he was conscious or not was hard to discern. He was on his feet now at least with his arm still outstretched, his fist still clenched tightly. He was still in the spot where he unleashed his attack.
But what was certain was that he had enjoyed this in the end. That feeling was the main thing that kept him standing, whether he was conscious or not.
