Zane had arrived in a rather normal fashion: a red beam of light touching down on the ground and then he appeared. He couldn't say he was very familiar with this place. Or at least if he were it looked a lot different than when he was there last. Though his dull blue eyes scanned the area, surveying it and then deciding that he had done enough of that. He set his eyes on the other navi next, not put off by their size and appearance when he spoke.
"Hey there! Let's relax and have a good fight."
His opponent probably wouldn't take this as leisurely as he himself would, the Inferno Knight tossing his cloak aside and slamming his fists together, the hands of magma burning brightly for a moment.

He wouldn't back down from a head on collision for sure. He pulled his hands away from one another, a trail of flame forming as he gripped the ends of them, the flame being a pair of long-swords that he slammed roughly together, the collective flame taking on the shape of what looked to be a somewhat unwieldy claymore. He brought the weapon forth to meet the larger navi's blow with remarkable strength, the collision sending flames surging forth before the sword exploded in a burst of flames against Aincrad. It was here that Zane turned with his blow, stepping to Aincrad's side and waving both arms, the twin long-swords shooting out an ankh of flames as they formed from his motion, the swords fading as he went into a punch aimed at the same side, the punch carrying much more strength than what was put inside of the first swing.

That was pretty successful on his part. He had pulled back, planning to attack again until he saw the injury just grow back as fast as he created it. Well... that was fast? Well he just would have to try harder this time. Or so he thought at least, until the guy sent out a shockwave that was way larger than he was expecting to come his way.
"Well crap."
Zane was caught in the wave, being launched back with it across the du Soir through the air. He held his hand out as his did, the flames that lingered about surging back to his hand to form the claymore once more as he thrust it in the ground so that he wouldn't have to walk back half of du Soir to get back into the fight. After hanging on for dear life, he tore the weapon free from the ground and aimed it behind him, the sword exploding as it launched him straight at Aincrad, sending out another ankh of flame as he did before straight at the guy. Snapping his finger after, several harmless explosions blew up near his opponent before the fire flew back into his fist, aiming right for his opponent's head with another devastating punch.

From all his other blows before now, Zane had figured he would do about this much from aiming for the head. Any other day Zane would be super proud of soaring into the air and punching something in the face that was a lot more than twice his size. He was proud of it right now even.
"Ugh!"
Just it also resulted in him receiving a headbutt from a very heavy dude as he rocketed backward from the impact, skidding across the ground on his back. Turns out that also wasn't enough to defeat his opponent either. Okay, so the fact became a bit obvious that his opponent took an approach like himself now. But this fact caused Zane to grin more than anything else as he watched the lights soar into the black sky.
"Heh..."
He liked that. He would keep that in mind from here on out then as he picked himself up and launched another ankh of flames at Aincrad. The navi was preparing his attack given the beams of light he saw go up into the air while he was lying on the ground, which meant he may as well get his way too. The fire surged, letting off several more explosions around the larger navi that were harmless before the claymore formed in his hand again, blazing brightly as the flames turned emerald, tossing the massive weapon straight at Aincrad's torso, namely the chest as it burned apart the air that it passed through and planning to cleave right through the giant.

Guess the guy found out that he did learn, sort of. He only really decided that he had to hit harder than he was to fix his problem. Thankfully that had worked... somewhat? He had impaled the guy and his opponent's attempts had failed, which he got a compliment for. But then it turned out that impaling something full of power just released the power rather than dispersing it. A stray ray of light flew at Zane as the Inferno Knight raised his arms, placing his left hand behind his right as he caught the blast, skidding backward as fire blazed a trail following where he flew back from, effectively nullifying the blast and crushing it in his hand soon after. That had only been one though and they started to get stronger too.
"At least contain yourself if you're gonna explode!"
The rays were giving the area a serious problem in terms of being in good condition. He figured he had to go pull his sword out to take care of that one. And if that didn't solve it then he'd have to try and destroy the guy's body completely in a final strike. So he started to build up power as he made his way toward Aincrad, neglecting defending any stray ray that would slam into him on his way there now. He took several of the random blasts, but didn't attack just yet as he was saving up his energy for his next attack. Jumping up, he grasped the hilt of the claymore and attempted to lodge it loose from the person he had struck with it, knowing full well that this would put him at even more risk as a result. If he succeeded he'd just have to play it out from there. He had to at least make sure the place wasn't destroyed completely as a result of their battle now.

Funny how his own strength could end up causing such a problem for him, seeing as his original intent was to hurl the sword into the guy like it was right now. But the rays started to focus on a target as he pulled, him, as he was being battered by the rays of light. But he used the gathered strength with a shout to pull the weapon loose from its resting place. Now came doing the other part of his somewhat on-the-fly plan. Gathering up strength as he used the sword to meet the resulting blast as well, being launched back by it but not nearly as devastating as it would have been without his usual defensive procedure, crashing into the ground a distance away in an explosion. He laid on his back, the claymore burning away as his eyes were closed, far away from his opponent who thankfully wasn't moving anymore either and not exploding anymore either.
"All in a day's work..."
He would just stay here for a while. Relax and let things work their way out from here. And when the pain stopped he'd consider getting up and seeing if his cloak was okay. It probably got blown away in one of the ensuing blasts. He could think of one person who would be amused that it had, but he'd be pretty sad if it did. They were hard to come by these days.

Out of Character Judge points as assigned based on proper recognition and/or use of the environment.
Aincrad Style----: 18/30 Artcltion: 19/20 Balance--: 12/20 Length---: 9/10 Emotion--: 7/10 Judge----: 4/10
Total: 69/100 B 45/450
You went too grand with various moves. Keep in mind your version 1, not 20. Prime example is your second post. Du Soir is a large place and engulfing half of it in an explosion is a lot much.
Body gets broken, healed entirely in half a post.
This all being said your actions were very easy to follow and the descriptors gave just enough to know what you were doing while leaving a nugget to the imagination.
Zane Style----: 20/30 Artcltion: 19/20 Balance--: 18/20 Length---: 9/10 Emotion--: 9/10 Judge----: 5/10
Total: 80/100 B 45/450
You really like the word ankh eh? My advice is to experiment with other terms and descriptors. Your paragraphs were very dense. A good example of when you could have cut it in half is in post 2: "After hanging on for dear..." would have been a nice start to a new one. Since it's the start of your offense.
I got nothin. I like explosions too. Sorry I'm really hungry.
