Nestled on the Southern end of the Elbrus mountains at the base sits the now defunct Official Net Battlers outpost for Sharo. Once thought to be at the forefront of their research and development, it was shut down due to a global downsizing effort by Headquarters in order to better manage resources.
However, recently a new group has taken over the base and renovated it. With fully working systems once again, the base has become a haven from the bitter winds of Sharo's networks as this group organizes themselves. Hallways clean themselves regularly and rooms functioning properly, the only strange part of this building is the sheer lack of personnel, for it was still abandoned by its creators. The lights from the control room radiate out through the stormy conditions light a lighthouse guiding navis to safety.

Iria (I accidentally edited my post instead of copying the formatting. So... yeah. Iria gets there, traverses the base, turns the power back on and hops in the teleporter. So stupid..)

The teleporter room comes to life after several minutes, sparking and glowing as the lights flash on. The run-down old place had seen better days, but it seemed to be wRuntime Error: Network Database is corrupt. ...well that can't be good. Is it worth the risk of jumping in and seeing what happens...?

Iria ...Ahuh Completely oblivious to what such a warning could entail and only concerned with the fact that there was a connection at all Iria quickly hops in again and taps her foot.

In the cold, desolate remains of the ice and snow, a single Mystery data comes into existence, naturally. This was no ordinary mystery data though. It had a red hue, and glowed faintly. Of course, viruses would be drawn in by the glow... Unique Mystery DataA mystery data very rarely found on the net. May contain any number of rare items. Cannot be taken, must be accessed on the spot or left behind. To access, a Navi must use one “Advanced Unlocker” where the mystery data was found. Spawn: Unique Mystery Data Expires: 28-8-2015

[Location Change: Lost keys! ]
A small section of snow begins to glitch, barely the size of a navi and from the edge of a massive snowbank, two azure eyes peek out. Scanning the winter landscape for a solid few seconds, Ion finally stepped through the portal that Vince had opened for him. There would be no record on the network of him logging in, a fact that was especially useful considering the ragged reputation that the remains of the Sharo ONB Base now had.
His normal boots were now covered with an extra layer of fur-lined leather and the snow pants, heavy winter jacket, toque and mechanics gloves all served to give him the warmth that he'd need to survive in this area for a while. He naturally had a resistance to the elements, as most navi's do nowadays but one never knew what could happen in the frozen north. Ill preparation often lead to one's demise in Sharo...
Glancing down at his white attire, the limbs that did not sink into the snow seemed to blend into it. Beginning to trudge towards the coordinates that Vince had indicated, Ion couldn't help but feel a shock of exhilaration run through him as the cold revitalized his senses, sharpening his mind with the biting chill of every inhalation. As much as he felt disconnected from his homeland, visiting it always brought with it feelings of revel.
Apparently their assessment had not been completely in off. In the midst of the blowing snow, wading through drifts that filled almost as quickly as Ion could walk through them, a red glow could be seen. It's ruddy glow almost completely lost in the midst of the whirling snow, Ion took a moment to survey the scene before continuing to trudge towards the mystery data. Vince has said that virus signatures had been congregating here, but as far as he could see there was none. Unless they were buried in the snow, but there was little he could do to solve that problem...
Summoning a small amount of junk data from his core, Ion began circulating it along the bug pathways on his body, undulating beneath his winter gear it should give him a modicum of protection in the case of a surprise attack. Reaching out with one hand, a soft white ball of energy flickered into existence. Barely illuminating the area around him, Ion's eyes flicked to the snowed in area surrounding the mystery data. An instant later the ball of energy split into 10 different fragments and shot towards the mystery data. Bullet fast and imbued with an electrical charge, they hit the snow and ground around the mystery data, each carefully missing it by a wide margin so as to not damage it. If this were a trap, then they should serve as a nice paralytic greeting.
Now that he had engaged, Ion wasted little time in approaching the mystery data and using his newly acquired Advance Unlocker.
[Ion used: Advanced Unlocker] [Ion accessed: Unique Mystery Data] Eyes carefully scanning the area around the mystery data as the unlocker began its decryption process, Ion's muscles were coiled with pent up anticipation. A crackle of energy racing along his right hand ready for anything...

"Not so fast"
A mysterious, raspy voice was heard behind Ion as the mystery data slowly compiled into a useable program. The cold tip of a spear could be felt against the nape of the bugnavi's neck.
From empty space came this hissing sound of white noise, and the cold spear was gone, a hole left in Ion's coat. Now a bright, red-eyed navi stood behind a cloak and a visor, bowing before Ion.
"Thank you for your service - this is mine."
On either edge of the Ion's peripheral vision, a small group of metol's could be seen, about three or four on either side, flanking the mystery figure.

The bite of icy steel pressed against his neck, eyes instantly flicking from side to side while he considered his options. But with the sudden wash of white noise ripping through the area the figure Ion assumed responsible appeared before him, crimson eyes and confident voice laying claim to the program that Ion had just been unlocking. Mind racing, he knew the rumors about this area ran deep with corruption. Movement around his peripheral made him aware of the metools quickly moving alongside the cloaked navi. Curious that so many would be under his control and that the navi had not instantly stabbed him, Ion couldn’t help but feel a twinge of interest spark within him. Assuming a more defensive stance as the navi moved to bow to him, Ion’s curiousity was quickly fanning from spark to flame. Allowing the sharp crackle of energy to recede for the moment from his hand, Ion addressed the strange cloaked navi before him, ”Many would claim finders keepers, but I’m a more curious soul.” Even though he was obviously intrigued, Ion was still not dumb. He stopped the Advanced Unlocker process for the moment and filed it neatly back into his programming among the hordes of junk data stored within him. [Ion stopped Advanced Unlocker] ”You claim this as yours? May I ask who you are? I am Ion and I’m happy to continue unlocking it as long as I get to see what this program is.” Ion introduced himself as a show of good will. Continuing in a diplomatic tone, “I don’t get many warm fuzzy feelings about giving unknown locked programs to random strangers these days, too much chance for abuse, I’m sure you understand.” The world had been in so much turmoil since the devastation caused by navi’s who acquired programs that they shouldn’t have. If this data was one that he had to sacrifice and ensure remained locked, then so be it, but the curiousity would plague him endlessly.

[Cont'd from Com Square]
Kidd walked out of the blizzard and into the frying pan....so to speak. As he approached the base, he saw two navis arguing in front of it. One seemed vaguely familiar. The other, not so much. He watched them for a bit to find out what they were arguing over. And there it was, the red mystery data. Since the two seemed distracted by arguing with one another, Kidd darted past them and ran right into the base.

Russet, however, entirely gated across the snowy terrain and reappeared exactly at he lip of the base's entrance.
Aside from his flickering aura, the base's interior really was as dark as it can get... And rather fragile-looking.
Russet disarmed his Framed TankCannon in place of 2 Copper Turrets attached to his arms.

Fulgur enters the area. Spotting Ion and the virus army, he bites his lip, considering, then nods, resolving to help the outnumbered navi should he need it, but to enter the base and set things up first. He runs past, saying good luck to Ion, then enters behind Kidd and Russet, deploying his helmet, the buster ready to fired should it be needed."Right....I'd say we go slowly...no telling what's in here." It appeared in a potential combat situation, the young navi gained confidence."B-but maybe you g-guys have better ideas?" Or not quite…

"Well, first thing we should do is get this place online again."
After saying so he looked around for computers.

Kidd wandered around the run down ONB base. What used to be a pinnacle of order, now a shell of its former self. Small viruses skittered about in the shadows of the flickering lights of the hallways. As he ascended the tower, hallways full of residual data lingered in the air like dust. Every other light seemed to be out, casting a dim light through the hallway and leaving patches of shadows along the way. One such patch lead itself nicely into a doorway, ajar to which held small lights flickering various colors.
Inside the room in question, lights flickered on the wall of green and orange. A set of powerful systems online, but not yet accessed save a single screen which displayed a soft red glow and the word "ERROR" on it. The soft glow of the screen illuminated the rest of the room, to which a navi in a long purple cloak leaned back in a chair against the far wall, their western style hat tipped over their face and one arm holding their head as their chest rose and fell in a soft rhythm.

Russet has been maintaining many steps behind Kidd, careful about getting attacked by the skittering creatures in the shadow...
Until they got to the room where "ERROR" was read and a Navi slept on a chair.
"HOSTILE" rang upon Russet's HUD with a colour of red. Just like when he looked at him...
Furthermore, the cloak that Navi wore... It was purple, but it had a big resemblance to someone's...
Without hesitation, he aimed his Turrets in full lock at the cloaked Navi. Immediately following, four of his Axial Eyes rose out of his backpack, all hovering in mid-air and locking on the Navi in purple.
How did this tiny detail escape me? This guy... No doubt, he's a...
Russet's aura began rising. That ominous upward river of golden flames, lighting itself up again.

Fulgur nods, following behind the two.He sees a navi wearing a hat and cloak, seeming to nap. What surprised him most was the fact Russet immediately activated his weapons. Raising his own, Fulgur activates his helmet, speaking softly at the sleeping softly and politely. Here's hoping they didn't jump the shark too soon." Excuse me...."
