A long day of hunting in the Forest Network, Excalibur was getting tired of this mercenary work, trying to hunt down a beast so far out in such short notice... A latex suit? What kind of Navi wears that? He was questioning himself, sitting within the canopy of the trees, aiming his rifle outward, watching for anything out of the ordinary, other than a couple, who had matched a bounty ID of a two-part bank heist group, in which he'd shot, he didn't really see anything else...
"Come on out you little..."
"Even for our enemy, they deserve respect."
"Can it, Omega, I've got no respect for a Navi who's covered in a latex suit."
"Or do you?"
"SHUT UP, DELTA!"
"Fine fine, goddang! You act like we don't share a body!"
"Radar pinged! G-Guys, I-I-I think this is him... Her... it... I... I... I don't know, j-just keep our thermal overlay on..."

Xyzillentz stepped out into the forest clearing with the smirk on his face concealed by his helmet. His visor shone in the moonlight, a moonbeam bouncing off its reflective surface. What he'd been up to was of no real importance; suffice to say it could be described as "no good." That was over and done with anyhow, and so the sweet sinner now faced the daunting prospect of a long, dark night with no plans made.
He was mulling over the possibilities in his head, largely unaware of his surroundings and certainly oblivious to the sniper positioned above. As far as he knew, he was alone with his thoughts...

Instead of an unexpected attack, Excalibur leaped from above, sommersaulting in the air and landing right in front of Xyzillentz, a sniper barrel fully charged and aimed at his face... A tone of green took over his other flashing colors...
"Right there, stop where you are and don't move a muscle. You've got a bounty on your head that's larger than any pay I've ever seen in my life, so I'm going to ask you this."
He lowered his rifle, an understanding tone was emitted into his next question with a slight air of forgiveness... He seemed to want to investigate rather than kill...
"...Who did you piss of, Mr.. Uh... Thing? I'll just call you Mr. for now. I need to know what sort of syndicate you ticked off, since there's maybe 3 other navi out here searching for you. I was hired on as one of them, mercenaries with no training and me trying to hunt down a... and I quote... 'Fabulously disgusting navi, covered in what seems to be latex and smells of sulfur and death'... But then again, I can't smell, so correct me if I'm wrong."
He twitched, an orange hue taking over... Did he just switch personalities?
"...Sorry, multiple AI's pal, my other mind basically saying these guys are pretty angry, buddy. You'd best stick with me and my other minds if you wanna live, we're a collective conscious, and we prefer our target alive and other mercs dead, if you catch my drift."

Xyzillentz rolled his eyes beneath his helmet. Another hit out on him? This was the fifth this year. All told he was getting somewhat sick of it.
His annoyance was clearly conveyed by his voice, which boomed out from the central speaker-vent on his suit's chest. "I've no idea who it is this time, and frankly, if they can't be bothered to do the deed themselves, I can't be bothered to care, dear. Now why don't you put away that pea shooter before you hurt yourself, hmm?"
Mercenaries with no training? What an insult. Could it have been a friend of his was simply sending along some fodder to occupy his time?

Communications between Excalibur and other mercenaries began to buzz wildly...
"What are you doing down there?!"
"Switchin' sides, pal, I ain't doing this."
"You can't be serious."
"Already am."
As Excalibur finished a tranciever call, as it seemed, several sniper shots, barely missing the two began to rain down, again, untrained... Suddenly from the ground sprang up several sandbag barricades and a sniper's hide, complete with holes to shoot from, it seemed Excalibur had thrown it up in defense...
"If you're so great, Mr... Why not fight with me?"
He said, sending a single sniper shot upward, and knocking a mercenary out of the tree with a surprising THUMP before loading what seemed to be a large hunk of metal into the chamber and beginning to super-charge it with tons of magnets...
"For the record, in the Human's world, this chunk of lead weighs around 20 kilograms, pretty heavy. Ain't so much damage as it is stopping power, now go on, if you're so powerful, start some killing."

Xyzillentz sighed.
"You know, you're terrible at introductions." Xyzillentz calmly stepped out from behind the barricade, walking over to a tree that seemed to be holding at least two of the snipers currently firing at him. A few rounds managed to hit, causing him minor discomfort at most. Untrained, low-version assassins? Inexcusable.
A hissing sound filled the air with its blanket of noise as the vents on his suit sprung to life, dark green poison gas bursting out in thick clouds. They billowed upwards into the tree's canopy, and the once-mighty plant began to die, the leaves withering up and falling off en masse. Coughing, gagging, and a scream or two could be heard from the navis within, trapped in the mass of unspeakable toxic stench. One fell from his perch, bursting into bits of deleted data as he hit the ground. The other - more stubborn, evidently - retained an admittedly weakened grip on his branch that was just as tenuous as his grip on consciousness. Xyzillentz stopped the flow of gas long enough for the air to visibly clear, allowing him a look at the sniper. He found some small enjoyment in watching the navi, at first relieved by the attack's end, realizing he was still poisoned and gasping futilely for breath as the last of his HP drained away and he dissolved into bits of code himself.

As the last few mercenaries were dealt with, Excalibur disassembled all the various contraptions and barricades that were up... A slouched kind of stance he took, recovering from the sheer force delivered from having to both fire and load the weapon, on top of exhaustion from summoning the objects...
"Well you see... it's really kind'a hard to introduce yourself to a guy you were just about to kill while others are planning on killing ya."
He simply stated, giving a nod to Xyzillentz, and sort of half-shaking his head as a very faint whiff of the stench that had flown into the area got into his system...
"Augh! Sorry bout that, got a huge whiff'a the smell somehow, but anyways, my, well, our name is Excalibur, a collective Security proxy, but I do other things besides security... "
