[smear:cccc00]Time here remains as it were...[/smear:00bbbb]
[smear:005500]Deep underneath Netopian main area, floating in what seemed to be nothingness, a city was. Like something out of an Esher drawing the city was glitched and broken. Buildings appeared in every direction. Roads went up, down, left right, and many lead to nothingness. The city was home to many now permanently glitched navi's. It was also home to many wicked dark loids seeking safety from others. Building seem to be permanently merged in twisted and grotesque shapes. [/smear:338833:2][smear:338833]It hung, like an beehive, underneath the Netopian Main. Deep at the furthest point of the city, was the Only building that was not glitched. In fact, it was remarkably well made. Like an Old Victorian Mansion, it hung upside down. It was the central core of the city. The few rules placed here were made in that very building.[/smear:1F331f] [smear:203524]The inside of this place was just as madly built. Stairs that traveled in all directions and shifted constantly. This was the center of the first City for navi's of glitched...infected...graced with the bug element.[/smear:559955][smear:005500]
....this is what the city used to be in years past. An unending raid has left the city in absolute ruins, perpetrated by the Multi-Bug Organism; Gospel. Virtually everything in the city has been torn apart and laid to ruin. Now, all that remains is rubble, the skeletal remains of the other-worldly structures that once met the sky below, and the distant sounds of a monster, always looming in the shadows....[/smear:338833:1]
[smear:005500](OOC: Note this area is Restricted to story version 13+ Navi's. Others entering without meeting requirements will meet grim fates. And as it stands this place is unknown of expect by a few choice Navis. Until your Navi learns of it in story, they may not enter.)[/smear:5F6775F:2]

*The ruins were hard to see as Embera continued her descent. She repositioned her body as she fell, aiming to land in a desolate corner of the wasteland she saw before her. As she approached the ground, she braced herself, but came in too hot, and her body crumpled as she hit the ground. She laid there lifeless for several minutes before an wry twitch soon caused more motion, as she sat up.*
Embera: Oh man, I didn't think that through...
*Recollecting herself, Embera evaluated her surroundings. It was bleak, much like anywhere else she usually visits after an angry spell. She could hear the rumbling roars of a behemoth in the distance, and was herself unsure of how to proceed. Unable to find an ample place to climb and get her bearings, Embera proceeded forward, in hopes of finding some clue as to where anything was in this mess.*

[smear:005500]*The smoldering remains of the former structures of grim beauty lie in ruin, releasing a burning smoke that creeps along the ground like a cold mist. Rubble hangs in mid-air, and dust clouds form perfect spheres that remain stationary, as they likely had been since the original attack. The ground below Embera's feet disappears and reappears randomly , leaving behind the blackness of the void below. Above, the dark green sky disappears occasionally, giving way to static of various colors and frequencies, though no sounds accompany any of these fantastic sights. At some moments, it appeared as though Embera was walking along a narrow pathway. At others, as though she was walking directly into a wall. It was hard to tell just what was real, what wasn't, or if they were all real when they happened. But one sight remained constant in spite of the glitches: a large structure to the north of Embera's position....[/smear:5F6775F:2]

Finale entered, but the odd network structure made the flow of wind difficult to maneuver. Without revealing himself, the once-king of virii stays close to Embera, keeping an eye out for that which he intended to make his sovereign. He had followed Embera, silently, all through the networks ending up in this odd, ruinous mass of deleted network. The cyper-elf that contained his data dimly glowing just out of Embera's sight, not quite known yet not quite unknown to her.

*Embera tried to get her bearings as everything faded in and out of space around her. The only thing that remained consistent was the object to the north. As she went through, she began clanging off of everything that would suddenly spawn in front of her, and before being able to take out her frustrations, it would disappear. Unable to handle her bulky form any longer, Embera exuded heat in a massive amount, reducing her armor into slag, as it began dripping from her. Soon she was left in her clothes, a form-fitting black bodysuit with slight red and gold trims. Her shoes were light, sporty, and able to handle many terrains. With a deep breath, Embera bounded, with small flares jutting from her heels. As she ran, objects that were once unavoidable were hardly obstacles, as Embera dodged, mounted, and vaulted through the ephemeral maze that now barely obscured her vision to her target.*

[smear:005500]The effortless manner in which Embera moves over the terrain allows even the most unexpected of obstacles to simply fall in her path, and causes her to cover a massive amount of ground. The rubble passes by her at great speed as she moves, yet the oddity of the area remains, almost as if mocking her with each swift step; the closer that she got, the farther away the tower appeared to be[/smear:5F6775F:2]

*Embera continued to move, without a single feeling of fatigue. Farther and farther she went, yet farther and farther, the tower became. It was as if the very space itself warped in such a way that she rubber-banded away as she approached. She paused. This was impossible! She ascended, to see the tower, and flew closer, only for it to appear farther away. Dropping down, she retreated for a while, meandering through the ruins , away from the tower, hoping to find another way inside.*

[smear:005500]And, as Embera moves away, the entire area changes once again, resorting to what appears to be the true ruins of the city; alleyways and ruined buildings facing all directions take form. Meanwhile, the tower slowly begins to grow larger again, appearing to be a relatively short distance away within a few moments. The speed of approach came about inordinately fast given the distance, yet somehow it simply worked out that way. However, the tower was not the only thing obviously growing near....
The ambient growls of the cursed city rise to a greater degree than before, and the sound of stomping feet grows louder.... something was on its way, and it was headed straight for Embera.[/smear:5F6775F:2]

Finale: "Too spooky for me..."
The formless cold wind took the form of a stout black knight, with a glowing eye where a face-mask would be. He was concerned, Embera had made a foolish decision, and he himself had decided to follow her, on a promise she didn't even seem to remember. Well, rest in peace Finale, 200X - 25XX - you had a good run.
Wouldn't be the first time he'd died. Either way, he was now in plain view of Embera, and was prepared to fight the bug-beast.
Finale "UPJEJ EJQVUT... SPPE TJIU OFQP LTJSFUTB EJE ZIX?"
Under his breath he cursed Asterisk in his own language, something he had picked up on. He made a blank look at Embera, as if to say... are you ready?

*Embera continued moving, not taking much notice of Finale's now semi-corporeal appearance. She felt the tremors. She heard the roaring. Encroaching...from all directions. There was nowhere she could run away from it, so she figured she would have to confront it sooner or later. As she leapt through the debris, a glitchy orb appeared, just in front of her face. With nary a second to react, Embera twisted her body backwards to somersault under the object. Catching herself on her hands she continued onward, avoiding everything with a grace not before seen from Embera. She didn't stop in her tracks until she saw a shadow, a large, menacing shadow, moving, as if walking. It was pointed, much like the mane of a lion. She got herself in a position that she could better hold for whatever could possibly be nearing her position.*

[smear:005500]The choice was made, and there was now no turning back.
Looming just around the stone-like structure that Embera stands near, the form of.... something.... awaits. With every movement of the shadow, the city itself seems to move, as if orbiting its every whim Even at this range, the massive pressure released by the creature is obvious; the radiation from its body alone causes pain and seems to melt away everything nearby.
....and then it breaks light, coming around the corner to meet the Solar Empress. Standing roughly ten feet tall with length to match, a strange and terrifying beast appears. Its skin appears to be brittle, gray stone, with steadily glowing patches of irregular size and spacing. The overall shape comes across as that of a wolf with a large, pointed mane jutting out randomly around his neck. At the point of each of these structures, the bugfrags appear to leave the beast's body at a steady rate, yet their mass never lessens.
As it turns the corner, it instantly spots Embera and turns to her. In spite of its bulk, the being moves with surprising speed, bringing its face just inches from hers and staring at her in silence. Hollow, blood red eyes peer out from the unnatural shell of this predatory beast, as if staring not at the Navi, but the very core of her programming.
....this is Gospel, the Multi-Bug Organism[/smear:5F6775F:2]

A monstrous enemy, a Titan appeared ahead of the Dark Knight of Wind and Empress of Sunlight. But the sun had no place here in this corrupted network, condemned to rot The duo were as good as doomed, by anyone's guess. It was obvious to both that they were no longer the hunters but the hunted, the Multi Bug Organism staring them down. How Finale got involved was a question to which he'd like an answer. Promises seemingly long forgotten were what bound him here, apparently purposelessly.
Was it his time to die then, in this putrid network of death and ruin, haphazardly shifting and re-shifting itself? Time to find out. Perhaps, Finale thought to himself, this wolf was friendly? Not a chance. Oh well.
The knight-like effigy walked up to the Bugbeast, and attempted to pat it on what Finale could reach of its mane.

*Embera couldn't believe the behemoth size of the beast before her. This was locked in here? She slowly picked up her jaw, and managed to utter just one word to Finale as she stood frozen.*
Embera:...MOVE!!!
*She was soon moving herself up the side of a nearby dilapidated building before firing a stream of flame at the beast's eyes, hoping to serve as enough deterrent to get the wind knight away. She didn't know what to expect, but could feel the primal desire to consume just emanating from the colossal beast. It was unlike anything she felt, but still, she needed to know more.*

[smear:005500]*Gospel remains motionless, as if studying Embera to begin with. The multi-bug organism didn't even notice Finale's moves, but continues to watch Embera as she begins to run..... and attack.
The flames impact Gospel's head like a shooting star, but they immediately ricochet off harmlessly. In spite of this, the Bug Beast's head recoils slightly. It now knew what it was looking at without a doubt....
....a dead Navi running.
Rearing back its head, Gospel releases an unholy roar, causing the entire bug city to quake from its raw power. Fragments of the city begin to break apart and fly toward Embera as if by their own power, creating an absolute barrage from all directions.
Lowering its head, Gospel's eyes once again lock onto its prey. Recoiling slightly, it thrusts its head forward and opens its mouth, releasing a forward shock-wave that cuts through the glitched streets in an instant, breaking through as if it were a beam and destroying everything in its path.[/smear:5F6775F:2]

*Embera could feel the quake in her very being as Gospel let out a roar. Every sound that hit her tensed her up, to the point that she felt crushed by her own muscles. What was this sensation? It wasn't fear...but it wasn't joy. It was so uncomfortable to her, that she could barely form any thoughts. As the blocks of city come flying at her, instinct took over. As each piece flew, her body flowed through them like a ribbon through the air. Piece after piece evaded, as she desperately tried to survive, her body touched down, feeling drained. She couldn't even formulate a coherent plan or even brace herself against the oncoming roar. Her body was sent flying, end over end as she crashed into a building. Staring into the empty, glowing eyes staring back at her, the feeling subsided...All subsided...She couldn't explain it, she was getting drowsy. Something clawed at her, but she couldn't make it out. She was trying to fight it, but for some reason...it just kept gnawing at her exhausted state. As her eyes shut, her body dropped to the ground, limp....*
[smear:FF2222]*(Thump thump...thump...thump thump thump....thump) The beating was getting more erratic in her head. Screaming, drums beating, visions she couldn't even recognize constantly pushing her out of her own consciousness. The once-tense muscles loosening, as Embera's body was cloaked in a bursting aura. Her face contorted into a sickly smile, and she seemed to rise to her feet without even moving. Cracking her neck, her body wasn't on auto-pilot, but not quite in her control. The damage was instantly healed, and a vile pervasiveness came from her chest. As her hand touched it, she could feel the barbs digging into her, overlapping her crest. Her consciousness could see everything, but could only watch as this force threw her body at Gospel, with only one thought in her head, "Maim." With a sickly cackle, Embera's hands were encased in small sun-like spheres, as she was ready to punch through its body. It seemed the Solar Empress was still prey to the constraints of the Somnium Cross...*[/smear:d362e9]
