[bgcolor=232323] Long-Story short -- as many of you know, I've been working for about a year now on Warrior's massive... huge.... background-story-thing.
And actually finished it, but it's really long.
SO! I've decided to cut it way shorter (and hopefully by the end of this week, you'll get a taste of it).
The story initially involved Warrior's MMM-History (That is, everything he's done on the site), which contributes to most of the long-ness of the story.
So rather than Re-RPing everything I've already done, I've made this thread to catch the newer (or less attentive) members up on major plot points.
And instead of just telling you everything (which is sometimes boring), I'm making it like a Quiz. (Open book, so if you want to go digging around or even asking other people for answers, I highly encourage it)
Below this spoiler is a list of Multiple-Choice Questions.
PM me with your answer for each Question (obv, you can only answer each item once, otherwise no prize)
In 2 Days (Sometime Wednesday), the answers will be revealed, and I'll publicly reward each of you with a certain amount of Zenny per correct answer you made (I obviously have the Zenny for it)
You can earn up to 2,200z by correctly answering all 16 Questions -- in which case you will be awarded an additional 800z for a perfect score

[bgcolor=232323] 100z QUESTIONS You get 100z per correct answer here These are recently posted (within the last year), easy to find answers 1. Who is Cherish? Warrior's Childhood friend. She left with Warrior and Zeal to go find her sister, Faith, who had gone missing. (B) Warrior's girlfriend. She died during the Eternal Endgame. (C) Warrior's sister. She died during the Eternal Endgame. (D) A girl Warrior saw in a dream, but never in reality. (E) Warrior's Childhood friend. She was abducted one day, so Warrior, Faith, and Zeal later went to go find her. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (A) Seemingly true, but you'd need to reread it to notice that Cherish and Faith's roles were actually reversed for this answer
(B) Cherish wasn't Warrior's girlfriend, first of all. It's never mentioned anywhere that they were ever dating.
(C) Cherish wasn't Warrior's sister. She was Wave's andFaith's sister. And once again, it was never mentioned the Cherish and Warrior were siblings, so thus it isn't true.
(D) By the evidence given for the correct answer, it's proven that Warrior has seen Cherish before, although he has seen her in a dream/vision before.
|
[/ul] 2. Who is Faith? Warrior's Childhood friend. She left with Warrior and Zeal to go find her sister, Cherish, who had gone missing. (B) Warrior's girlfriend. She died during the Eternal Endgame, so Warrior reverently named his sword after her.
(C) Warrior's sister. She died during the Eternal Endgame, so Warrior reverently named his sword after her.
(D) A girl Warrior saw in a dream, but never in reality. His sword as named after her -- the weapon is how she communicates with him.
(E) Warrior's Childhood friend. She was abducted one day, so Warrior, Zeal, and Cherish later went to go find her. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(B) Faith wasn't Warrior's girlfriend, first of all. It's never mentioned anywhere that they were ever dating. Warrior did, however, name his sword after her.
(C) Faith wasn't Warrior's sister. She was Wave's and Cherish's sister. And once again, it was never mentioned the Faith and Warrior were siblings, so thus it isn't true. Warrior did, however, name his sword after her.
(D) By the evidence given for the correct answer, it's proven that Warrior has seen Faith before, although he has seen her in a dream/vision before, and he did name his sword after her.
(E) Seemingly true, but Faith and Cherish's roles were actually reversed for this answer
|
[/ul] 3. Who is Zeal? Warrior's Childhood friend. She left with Warrior and Cherish to go find her friend, Faith, who had gone missing. (B) Warrior's Childhood friend. She left with Warrior and Faith to go find her friend, Cherish, who had gone missing.(C) Warrior's sister. One day, she went missing, so Warrior, Cherish, and Faith decided to go looking for her
(D) Warrior's girlfriend. One day, she went missing, so Warrior, Cherish, and Faith decided to go looking for her.
(E) A girl Warrior saw in a dream, but never in reality. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (A) Seemingly true, but Zeal and Faith's roles were actually reversed for this answer
(C) It's never been mentioned that Zeal was Warrior's sister, or that Warrior even had a sister.
(D) It's never been mentioned that Zeal and Warrior were dating, or that Warrior ever had a girlfriend.
(E) It's never been mentioned that Zeal has ever appeared in one of Warrior's visions/dreams.
|
[/ul] 4. Who is Wave? Cherish's young brother. He began searching for her very recently, when Warrior's party never returned home. (B) Faith's young brother. He began searching for her very recently, when Warrior's party never returned home. (C) Zeal's young brother. He began searching for her very recently, when Warrior's party never returned home.
(D) Hope's young brother. He travelled with her to go find Warrior, who never returned home.
(E) Warrior's young brother. He began searching for him very recently, when Warrior's party never returned home. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wave's RP Information (Scroll down to "RP Sample / Reconnaissance Work")
For the First Part of this Answer: Remnants of the Past [00 -- His Last Memory of Her]
This question intentionally had two correct answers. You earned twice as much zenny from the question if you gave both answers.
Correctly Answered by: Genesis, Diamond, Senka, Encore, Kairi Secondary Answer noticed by: Genesis, Diamond, Senka, Encore
|
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (C) Wave was never mentioned as Zeal's sister -- only Faith and Cherish were
(D) Wave was never mentioned as Hope's brother either
(E) Although the phrase "little brother" has been used to describe Wave (in relation to Warrior), that description was preceded by a short of explanation of Wave's perception of Warrior as his (figure-of-speech) 'older brother', in this post. Aside from that, due to the fact that Warrior isn't related to Cherish or Faith, he obviously can't be related to Wave, either.
|
[/ul] 5. Who is Hope? Warrior's sister. She began searching for him very recently, when Warrior's party never returned home. (B) Cherish's sister. She began searching for her very recently, when Warrior's party never returned home. (C) Faith's sister. She began searching for her very recently, when Warrior's party never returned home. (D) Zeal's sister. She began searching for her very recently, when Warrior's party never returned home.(E) Wave's sister. She travelled with him to go find Warrior, who never returned home. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hope's RP Information (Scroll down to "Background", also mentioned in Hope's "RP Sample")
Correctly Answered by: Genesis, Quick, Senka, Encore, Kairi
|
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (A) Hope was never mentioned as Warrior's sister
(B) Hope was never mentioned as Cherish's sister
(C) Hope was never mentioned as Faith's sister
(D) Hope was never mentioned as Wave's sister
|
[/ul] 6. Who is Feint? She was saved by Warrior and Wave just before she would have been killed by Maverick, then later joined their party (B) She saved Warrior and Wave by defeating Maverick, then later joined their party
(C) A mysterious girl that Warrior doesn't trust. She's responsible for Faith's abduction.
(D) A mysterious girl that Warrior doesn't trust. She's responsible for Cherish's abduction.
(E) A mysterious girl that Warrior doesn't trust. She's responsible for Zeal's abduction. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Feint's RP Information (Scroll down to "RP Sample")
Warrior's RP Information (Mentioned in his "RP Sample")
Correctly Answered by: Genesis, Diamond, Senka, Kairi |
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (B) Trick answer, because Feint technically did save Warrior and Wave from Maverick, if you read her Background (RP Information → Background). However, Feint did not defeat Maverick, which you would've noticed if you read her entire RP Sample. The fact that she didn't defeat him makes this answer wrong. This was sort of intentional, to help weed out those who fully reads my profiles from those that just skim xD
(C) While it's arguable that Warrior never trusted her, Faith wasn't ever abducted, so this answer is automatically wrong.
(D) Cherish was abducted, but it's never been mentioned who abducted her. I wouldn't have asked you a 100z Question if I haven't given you the answer to it, at some point.
(E) Zeal was never kidnapped, so this answer is automatically false.
|
[/ul] 7. Where did Remnant come from? He's Warrior's biological twin (B) He's Warrior's Nobody (C) After Warrior was completely deleted during the Eternal Endgame, Remnant was formed from half of Warrior's repaired body (D) After Warrior was nearly deleted during the Eternal Endgame, Remnant was formed from half of Warrior's unconscious body(E) He's Warrior's Net-Op ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are billions of references to this answer, because it's been retold so many times (but it has never changed).
Remnant's (long) Background was the most recent description of it
Correctly Answered by: Xen, Genesis, Diamond, Quick, Senka, Encore, Kairi
|
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (A) I've actually been asked this before (which sort of contributed to the countless repetitions of Remnant's story), so listing it as an answer was more of a joke
(B) Another thing I've been asked. Obviously not true, though.
(C) This one is false by technicality. While this post may lead one to believe that Warrior died in the Galaxy Network, it never actually said he was deleted. And obviously, if you've been around long enough, you may have remembered that he wasn't (Remnant's creation was an In-Story event, just after the finale of the Eternal Endgame). This is mostly because I like to keep to the "once dead, always dead" rule, even though I've plot-holed my way out of it once or twice.
(E) You fool. Although this was another sarcastic option. During a C-Box conversation, Quick denied my request for a Full Synchro skill, because "Warrior has no Operator" for him to be in sync with, so I retaliated on the grounds of "he could be in sync with Remnant, instead". Then I had a tangent thought of Remnant being Warrior's Op, which made me chuckle.
|
[/ul] 8. What is Warrior's current personality like, compared to his old personality (As it is portrayed in-story)? He used to have a comedic and even self-righteous attitude, but now he's more held-back and almost pacifist (B) He used to strive to become the strongest Navi, but now he has a comedic and even self-righteous attitude
(C) He used to have a loose-temper and a thirst for battle, but now he has a comedic and even self-righteous attitude(D) He used to have a loose-temper and thirst for battle, but now he's more held-back and almost pacifist(E) He used to be more held back and almost pacifist, but now he strives to become the strongest Navi ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Two right answers?! Yes.
(A) Depends on how far back you've known Warrior. This was, at one point, true.
(D) A more recent, more apparent description of Warrior. This answer was easily the most true because of this post, when Warrior retreated from Embera's words, while Remnant (AKA Warrior's Past) denied them.
Warrior's "comedic, self-righteous" attitude (from Answer A) was described in his RP Information → Background. That information describes Warrior's transition from "comedic, self-righteous" to "loose-temper, thirst for battle", while the transition from "loose-temper, thirst for battle" to "held back, pacifist" is (intentionally) only something you would find in his RP. (once again, to separate the skimmers from the readers)
Correctly Answered by: Xen, Genesis, Diamond, Senka, Encore, Kairi Secondary Answer noticed by: Genesis
|
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (B) This is partially true, because Warrior did strive to become the strongest Navi (in and out of character, actually). But his current personality does not at all reflect the one given in this answer, so it is false.
(C) Once again, the first half of the answer is true, but the second half is clearly false
(E) Not at all true. If the order of this answer was inverted, though, it would've been a tertiary correct response.

[/ul] 200z QUESTIONS You get 200z per correct answer here These involve answers that most of you probably own't know unless you go back more than a year 9. Who is 'Strike' and what kind of behavior did he have? Warrior's old Blade-Elemental friend, played a Leader's Role (B) Warrior's old Wood-Elemental enemy, played a Leader's Role (C) Warrior's old Wood-Elemental friend, played a comedic role
(D) Warrior's old Blade-Elemental enemy, played a comedic role(E) Warrior's first Virus ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There wasn't really any way of knowing this without negating the obvious wrong answers, or without having known me for a few years.
Strike was an old navi of mine that the board has almost no evidence of, except for a very few In-Story posts. He was Blade and Wood Elemental, so I spread out the answer to this question to give you a better chance at answering it.
Despite my poor RP back then, he was supposed to be comical... He was a pre-incarnation of Wave, essentially. Although in Warrior's re-written story, he actually serves a greater purpose than weird green text.
Correctly Answered by: Xen, Genesis, Diamond, Quick
|
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(A) Obviously, since Warrior is my mine, he (if anyone) would play "the Leader Role", right? Since that's usually the case for most mains (thought not necessarily true for Warrior), I figured I'd give you an easy "not-to-choose" answer
(B) Same as the previous answer. Although, after rethinking it, this could technically be true for Strike, in unposted material. But I wouldn't make it a "right" answer unless it has actually been mentioned somewhere on the boards.
(E) Warrior's first (and currently only) virus was Remnant.
|
[/ul] 10. Who is 'Ash' and what kind of behavior did he have? Warrior's old Fire-Elemental friend, played a Leader's Role (B) Warrior's old Fire-Elemental friend, played a comedic role (C) Warrior's old Fire-Elemental friend, played a fearful/sorrowful role(D) Warrior's old Fire-Elemental friend, hothead/aggressive role
(E) Warrior's first Virus -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another questions you'd have a hard time with, if you haven't known me for at least a year. My Old Stats Page actually still has information on Ash, so it's possible for you to dig it up.
His name also hints at answer C, though. (Fun fact: his name used to be 'Torch')
Aside from that, Ash made a much more recent appearance in Hope's RP Information ("Background" and "RP Sample")
Correctly Answered by: Xen, Genesis, Diamond, Encore, Kairi
|
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (A) Although this can be answered in the same way as Strike's "Answer (A) Disproval Evidence", it could also potentially be a fact via unposted material. But again, you can't get credit from something you're not supposed to know.
(B) There's evidence of Ash in enough places to know this isn't true. Again, Hope's RP Sample.
(E) Once again, Warrior's first/only virus was Remnant... who technically wasn't a "virus" per se.
|
[/ul] 11. Who is 'Zeta'? A Dark-Karma'd telekinetic with unknown bonds to Warrior (B) A Dark-Karma'd teleporter with unknown bonds to Warrior
(C) A Neutral-Karma'd telekinetic with unknown bonds to Warrior
(D) A Neutral-Karma'd teleporter with unknown bonds to Warrior
(E) Warrior's first Virus ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yet again, a past-navi you have absolutely no information on unless you knew me years ago. Such being the case, I only gave you two real things to determine here: "What was his Karma?", and "What was his ability?"
For the more recent members that took this, you literally just had to rely on luck.
Correctly Answered by: Xen, Genesis, Diamond |
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (E) Warrior's first/only virus was Remnant.
Other than that, this question would've been totally void had Zeta not been planned to make a reappearance.
|
[/ul] 12. Who is 'Maverick'? An antagonist that killed Remnant (B) An antagonist that Warrior and Wave defeated while saving Feint(C) An antagonist that Feint defeated while saving Warrior and Wave(D) An antagonist that persuaded Ash into becoming his 'sidekick'(E) Warrior's first Virus -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For the First (Primary) Answer Feint's RP Information (See "RP Sample")
For the Second (Secondary) Answer Hope's RP Information (See "Background" and "RP Sample")
The could also be found in my outdated Stats Thread, under Ash's Records (See "Background", "Relation to Maverick" and "Personality") (Note that the "Reconnaissance Work" of that post is outdated and has been removed/rewritten) and Maverick's Records (See "Background" and "Relation to Ash")
Correctly Answered by: Genesis, Diamond, Senka, Kairi Secondary Answer noticed by: Genesis |
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (A) In Remnant's most recent Background, it was Wyvern that killed Remnant. Not Maverick.
(C) Trick answer, because the information given in Warrior's RP Information (See "RP Sample") and Feint's RP Information (See "Background") can be misinterpreted, if you didn't read Feint's RP Sample as well.
(E) Warrior's first/only virus was you already know this. Read the last three spoilers.
|
[/ul] 300z QUESTIONS You get 300z per correct answer here These are questions you simply will not be able to answer unless you've paid attention to my activity, or unless you simply have outstanding luck with Multiple-Choices 13. What is the name of Warrior's main antagonist? Remnant (B) Exile (C) Wyvern
(D) Akeldema
(E) Maverick ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The only possible way you could've known this was to either read the event in Warrior's RP Information (See "RP Sample"), or be Genesis. (Even though I was still shocked when he guessed it. Then Quick guessed it right after... then Encore... then Kairi.)
In that RP Sample, Feint mentions two of the names seen here, "Akeldema" and "Exile" (respectively, to throw you off). But more specifically, the entire scene was described as "Warrior's defeat to Remnant who he thought to be Remnant". So in the eyes of the reader, Remnant should've appeared to be "the main antagonist".
But Feint went on to say that it wasn't Remnant who defeated them -- he called himself "Exile".
Aside from that small hint, there are very few ways you could've successfully guessed this.
Correctly Answered by: Genesis, Quick, Encore, Kairi
|
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (A) At one point, Remnant was Warrior's main antagonist. But it should've been clear by now (by Stats alone) that the two of them are no longer adversaries.
(C) Warrior was technically never against Wyvern. In [url=Remnant's Backstory, Warrior and co. were indeed attacked by Wyvern, but Warrior never actually fought him. Aside from that, Warrior actually saved Wyvern's life, in Wyvern's RP Information (See "Reconnaissance Work")
(D) Akeldema has only ever been mentioned in Warrior's RP Information (See "RP Sample"), but absolutely no information was given about him, except that he helped Exile defeat Warrior, Feint, and Wave. He was the next-likely answer (next to Exile), except for the small fact that Exile was mistaken as 'Remnant'. That, and Exile sound more my style of a main antagonist, if you know me.
(E) Maverick was killed by Wave and Warrior (as learned in Feint's/Warrior's RP Samples), though it's still technically true that he was (at one point) a main antagonist. That story remains (for the most part) unposted, though. And the fact that he's dead means he can't do much "antagonist-ing", now doesn't it?
|
[/ul] 14. What is Warrior's real name? Josh Blaze (B) Josh Hikaru (C) Jake Hikaru (D) Jake Rayner
(E) Jacob Rayner(F) Jacob Blaze ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There were only two possible ways of you knowing this.
First, is if you read this out-of-story post, about Warrior.
Next, is if you've visited Warrior's profile at SFRP.
By technicality, this question had two correct answers. (Alternatively, if you did a little bit of searching to learn the meaning of "Rayner", you could've guessed it just as easily)
Aside from all that, you could've narrowed down your guess if your read Remnants of the Past [00 -- His Last Memory of Her] and the following post, Remnant's of the Past [02 -- Just Memories], where Warrior's description is given for a boy named "Jake".
Correctly Answered by: Genesis, Diamond, Quick, Encore, Kairi
|
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (A) My first name's Josh, and I don't have that strong of an attachment to Warrior, sadly
(B) Same as above. This was actually the name of an old Operator of mine, actually (Torch's Op, before Warrior's rewritten history destroyed Josh's relevance)
(C) Warrior is not a decedent of Lan Hikaru (which was actually "Lan Hikari", in the games)
(F) Nor is he a decedent of Chaud Blaze (AKA "Eugene Chaud" in the games). Incidentally, another old Operator was, in fact, named "Jake Chaud".
