Her eyes didn't return the favor, but she could sense him staring. She'd almost told him to cut it out, but then he started talking.
"..."
And he certainly had a lot to say.
"... Quite the story."
Sucks to be that guy. Well, not anymore probably, but for the past fifty years no doubt.
"So if you can... mess with data like that, --"
-- whatever the correct terminology was --
"-- then can't you fix this wretched boat or something? Or heck, just 'unmaterialize' the giant wall around the castle outside? Why are we even wasting our time here?"
Well... then again. It was probably better they didn't leave just yet.
Despite the rather massive threat looming just outside the boat.

Siega took a look around the boat, seemingly looking past the ship and at the data.
"I could try; but it wouldn't do it any good. The person who did this little number," he paused then, motioning at the ship, "is much more powerful than me. It'd seem that the Navis of today have much stronger capabilities of the Navis during my first roundabout. I remember a time when a Navi that could shift data around was terrifying. Now. . .it looks like a normal thing."
He said this almost solemnly, as though he were disappointed that his own little form of art had taken a powerful downfall.
"Not to mention it'd take me a while. It took me fifty years to break out of a trio of firewalls that humans created. Of course, that was after they bumped me down a few notches. I need to recuperate."

What's this? AirMan looks across the way to this new-comer and gives him the once-over. He recognizes the configuration, but the identity of the Navi escapes him. The Navi of a former WWW operator, he deduced that much by the emblem. But what was his name? FireMan? No. FlameMan? Not that either. Maybe it was Zippo...?
Bah, it didn't matter. AirMan's men take action and begin to move in towards their leader, but the wind Navi's hand waves them off to return to their duty. The fiery Navi had yet to manifest himself as a threat, and had immediately sought to open old wounds. If the situation escalates, it would be AirMan himself to deal with it.
AirMan: Ho-HO! A fellow antique of ages past, I see. I am AirMan, as you have recognized, but far from an emissary of Gospel now. Now, if you'll forgive me, I recognize you as well, but your name escapes me. I don't recall meeting you in our hay-day.

“I am a roaming will from years ago!” _______________________________________________________
“Sorry, the unexplained burns me up too,” his unintended puns becoming more of a second language at this point, “My Net Operator customized me extensively from the data used by a Navi from his days he was not so proud of. He left to me his true passion in this new form as well as a few more tricks up these hot sleeves of mine.”
Heatman’s fingers lifted slightly revealing his burning wrists, but his hands were open in a gesture of a handshake more of anything. However, he drew them back as he felt that the show itself was more than enough to give the impression he meant no harm...not to mention that no one should shake hands with a fire-based NetNavi for many reasons. “I am Heatman,” he introduced, “And I’m not here to blow smoke inn front of your eyes. Things are different unlike those years before where we were both pawns for maniacal dreams. I can see for myself that overtime you have kindled yourself up quite the entourage.”
Heatman of course referring to the few NetNavis that dispersed from Airman. Heatman’s beady eyes had been unmoving, as if nostalgic.

Ichabod quickly materialized on the upper deck of the wreck. As his body finished the steady warp, he couldn't help but find himself in a daze. So much had happened in so little time, that he struggled to comprehend it all. Ichabod had only awakened 30 minutes ago, in the middle of the server he recently learned is called the "Dark colony". He looked everywhere he could for assistance, but found none. No welcoming arms, no friends to aid or guide him. Except for one. Xezzukhz. He was the first voice that Ichabod heard. "Whoever this "Governor Xezzukhz" is, he might be able to give me enough resources to make my own way around this world," Ichabod thought to himself. "But am I really willing to go to war for it?". While he was unsure why, Ichabod felt as though he had fought in battle before. His mind trailed off. His heart rate accelerated, as his imagination was set wild with ideas of death and destruction. He pictured himself, standing from the top of a skyscraper, laughing as the world burned around him. It was a feeling so... Ichabod's thoughts were cut off by both his own morals, and by the sound of echoing voices from the below deck. He shook his head, failing to understand why he thirsted for that power as he made his way to the source of the voices. As Ichabod got closer, he began to recognize a masculine tone to the voice he was following. "Now. . .it looks like a normal thing." Now on a corner between the entrance hallway, and the hallway where the conversation was occurring, Ichabod waited. He did not dare to peak around the corner and be spotted. He was unsure who was over there. But whether it was Xezzukhz, or a recruiter, or even some average Joe, there was nothing to loose by exercising caution. He was an outsider trying to break in without any evidence to show his worth. He leaned against the wall, and listened. "Not to mention it'd take me a while. It took me fifty years to break out of a trio of firewalls that humans created. Of course, that was after they bumped me down a few notches. I need to recuperate." Fifty years? The idea of being locked up that long sent a chill up Ichabod's spine. He took a deep breath, realizing that he would be waiting here a while. He closed his eyes and laid his head back against the wall, as he listened to the rest of the"fire wall breaker's" chat.

"Don't tell me you're one of the ones that hate humans, too. Because if you are, then I've got some pretty disappointing news for you: "
He'd have noticed Feint's eyes dart back to him when he'd enunciated "humans" like that if he was still staring into them; it was as if she wasn't too fond of the way he articulated the word.
"They're still around."
Evidently she was "one of the ones" that didn't hate humans.

After a prolonged absence - during which only grunts and mumbling in the distance could be heard down the hall - Nightwind finally returned, his stern expression doing its best to hide his own emotions and any details of the conversation he'd just had. He noted the presence of a new arrival, quickly glancing over Ichabod with a disinterested gaze.
"Well," he muttered, "I suppose three is a slight improvement. Governor Xezzukhz would like to speak with you personally. I will accompany you in case any of you tries something... foolish. If you wish to turn back or abandon the cause, this is your last chance. Otherwise, follow me."
He gave the trio one more look-over before turning and starting back down the hall from which he had come.

Wasn't much left to say then. Feint followed the horse-warrior down the hall to meet this governor of his.

RainMan finally finished materializing.Rain Man quickly looked around at his surroundings.
"Huh?Where am I?" RainMan took a look around and found that he was in some sort of room. "Yo Hado are you seeing this?" Rain Man asked his operator through his PET. "Yeah...where are you?' Hado asked. RainMan shrugged,"I don't even know myself..."

Gliding along the moonlight, Remnant in hand, Noal arrives on the tip of the mysterious ship with a graceful crash.
"We're here now ~desu."
She looks to Remnant, expectant of some instruction as to what comes next.

"Well, I suppose three is a slight improvement." Three? Either there was someone who hasten't spoken yet, or whoever the Governor's assistant is saw him around the corner. "Darn it..." Ichabod grunted, as he emerged from the corner. He glanced at the other navis. A man, a woman, and a horse. Ichabod did a short double take in response to the latter of the group, then realized how rude it was. "Governor Xezzukhz would like to speak with you personally. I will accompany you in case any of you tries something... foolish. If you wish to turn back or abandon the cause, this is your last chance. Otherwise, follow me." As Ichabod walked in the back of the small party, as he ran scenarios of how the conversation with the governor could turn out. He could be humble, and accept the minuscule party as a closely knit group. Probably unlikely. He could simply ask us to leave in disappointment. A bit more likely, but unwise on his part. But to Ichabod, this conversation did not matter. What was truly important to him, is if he could have a private conversation with the governor later. But would he really exchange words with a weak, version 1 navi like himself? Waiting for the situation to evolve like he did earlier did not work out so well. So this time, Ichabod decided to take a more direct approach. Ichabod sped up his pace, and was now parallel to the navi leading them through the ship. "Excuse me," Ichabod said, to obtain the attention of the stallion headed man, " I was wondering if the Governor would be open to have a conversation with me in private after this gathering,". Ichabod finished off his statement with a friendly smile towards the bronco. He mentally noted that deception is one of his strong suits.

Siega did a double take of his own as he looked back at the Navi that had so easily sneaked up on them.
With a small nod of approval, he followed the horse back; further into the depths of the ship. "I must ask. . .does the Governor go by any sort of shorter name? Something called. . .what was it. . .a 'Nickname'?"

RainMan went to one of the walls in the room and put his ear against it. "Hey Rainman",Hado whispered,"Do you hear anybody?" Rain Man nodded his head "I think I hear somebody...but who? Do you think I should investigate?" Hado shook his head "No peek through a door and see if somebody comes by." RainMan nodded his head,"Got it.."

"..."
Not the cleanest landing, but Remnant still landed on his feet from that crash. The girl was the one that brought him here... and now it looked like she was waiting for him to tell her where to go next.
"I suppose now we should start looking for the girl in the black catsuit."
He hadn't realized Airman or his party yet, but no doubt they'd have seen him touch down on the boat with Noal. Whether or not that meant anything to them was more or less questionable at best.
So now was the time to search the inside of the ship since there was clearly nobody on the deck. Barging in wasn't necessarily Remnant's style, but he couldn't shadow walk to where he wanted to go and expect Noal to be able to follow him.
Well... then again... he could just drag her with him.
But before invading the privacy of this dear ship:
"You're positive that you saw... 'booby lady'... come this way?"
Oh God, did he just say that?
Noal just earned +1 Influence Point on Remnant.

RainMan started tapping his foot on the ground."Gee it sure is BORING around here..." RainMan yawned and laid his body against a wall. "You know what?I think I'm going to take a peek outside for a moment",RainMan said getting up and walking towards the door. "Wait RainMan-!".
