The closest thing to a true city within the Undernet. Hackers Network effectively function as the Undersquare: A trading spot for all heel Navis and low-lives of the net. The city, as with the entire Undernet, is in a state of constant night. The buildings are primarily and with little exception formed of junk-data, giving the entire city a very slip-shod feel. Dark allies run between each and every jammed-together building, making the entire city unsafe at virtually all hours. Only those of genuine power or a dark mind may survive here, as the denizens recognize an outsider from miles away...

From a portal just outside Hacker's N, Ruin flew out, propelled by a duo of explosions, and across the main street down the network. He only flew a few yards however, skidding along the ground before coming to a stop. His entrance was rather flashy, moreso than he wanted originally, but it couldn't be helped at this point. Getting up, Ruin looked about, the city that made up essentially the Undersquare seemed to fit in right with the rest of the undernet. Worn down and shady. It was homely to ruin slightly, considering it had once been where he spent much of his time as his former self.

[bgcolor=000055] “A girl’s mechanism of a music boy.” [/font] _______________________________[/right] The deeper she stepped into the darkness, the closer she felt to him...
From the borders of the town, it could not have been anymore spooky if it was like one of those old western towns: the creaking population sign and a wind heavy with dust. Regardless of the appearance, Megami was carried forth by naïve hope that should have been long dashed when she stepped through the portal into the Undernet. As soon as the shadow of the female NetNavi touched the border into the city limits, a dread set in when she looked from left to right instantly being on guard.
The so called “City” was not much to look at with the buildings broken and twisted. She was fortunate that she was far from being a tourist, so it was none of her concern. She simply kept forth with steps that were filled with a mixture of hesitation and edge. From the faces of the NetNavis and appearances earlier, she knew she certainly would stick out in such a place. However, she had no way of blending in since she had her doubts that even the “Graphics Program” Rosetta made for her would not blend into this eerie and forsaken area that “Silence” described as “Death.”
She had to try...right?
Megami had reached the index of her right hand to the NetNavi icon imprinted on her chest. Instantly, there was the light that had coveted her and begun to break away at her clothing and flesh from her neck down, but however, there was some conflict. The Dark Chip within her pocketed possession had begun to mix with the graphics program and soon the light faded quickly and was overtaken by a spreading shroud of purple and black mist that coveted her bare body. By the time the mist subsided, there was revealed a tall pair of blood red leather boots, one piece, and fixture of a cloak coming from her back that had trimmings of purple.
The NetNavi did not fit in exactly, but at least she was not “too” obvious. All doubts shaken from her head with her flowing chestnut brown hair, she remembered her mission.
“I just need to find the Ura BBS as Silence-san mentioned,” she had said to herself, “Like in Net City, it should be in the center of the city, yes?”
Continuing forth, she strode through the city limits searching for the town’s center for what she was looking for, oblivious that she had passed right through it in all her paranoia. Even then, as she reached the other end, she knew that whatever she had not found and was searching for was not there.
Peering into the great yonder, farther towards the darkness of the Undernet, she had juggled the notion of continuing forth, and after debating, done so with that dreadful feeling become more intense with every footstep. ______________________________ “My beloved, can you hear me?” [/font][/center] ::OOC Stats::Now Listening To: ”Lolita Libretto” by Kanon WakeshimaIC Attire: Megami:: Fallen from GraceLocation Change From: Undernet Main Location Change To: The Dark Citadel Chatty Ditz: [/size]

[glow=white,2,500]*Embera had made her way deep within the confines of the Hacker's Network, moseying through the crowds of heel-navis. Unable to see through them all, for anyone that looked reputable, she leaped atop a building and scanned the area. Finding noone of value, she felt something in a compartment in her armor. Taking it out, she noticed she still had the WWW bookmark MagicMan gave her. Running her feelings through the intricate W's, she spoke to herself on the building.*
Embera: Ohh...MagicMan...If ever I needed guidance, now would be the time...[/glow]

Warrior came in from the Undernet Main, just from the outskirts of the city. He stopped to look around for a second, then continued surveying the area as he moved forward.
" ... Guess those two girls aren't coming. "
That -- or they had just fallen behind.
Warrior was moving at a much too determined pace to keep an eye on them.
He decided to take to the building tops so that he'd be slightly less... noticeable. But before he got far, a massive structure caught his attention, rising above the horizon of the opposite end of the city. The Dark Citadel.
Whether or not it would have any information he was searching for was questionable at best, but it certainly looked more important than anything else down here. Abandoned would've also been an adequate description -- but why would it still be standing if that were the case?
It was without doubt the most dangerous part of the area... But it was the only place throughout the entire net that would probably have the answers he was looking for. Or atleast the most likely, for the time being.

"Didn't think you could get rid of us that easily, did you?" The same sort of sadistic voice from before came from directly behind Warrior a he surveyed the area. The two girls had finally caught up with him, and Yun was about to give him a piece of her mind, when she was cut off by her sister. "So, what did you find?" That same voice of innocence from when they first appeared to him.

Warrior gave a slight grin as he heard the voices behind him.
" Glad you two managed to keep up."
They were faster than they looked. Hopefully they managed to get here without being spotted, though.
"So, what did you find?"
" Nothing, actually."
A blatant answer, but the truth. Warrior crouched and looked down from the building he was standing on, watching the countless darkloids that roamed the street. This place sure was populated for having been gone for some many years.
Perhaps it was never gone at all? Just hidden from the rest of the net...
" ... I'm still trying to figure out why this part of the net suddenly resurfaced. It's been completely unheard of for the past five years, and now all of a sudden, when all of the top-world crisis' start up again, it comes back."
He gave his attention back to the massive structure he had been heading toward before Sun and Yun showed up.
" I could just ask one of the townsfolk about all of this, but I'm pretty sure that wouldn't end well."
He stood up, as if he was about to start moving again. After all, staying still for too long would probably give his location away and risk being seen. Warrior wasn't one to avoid a fight, but when there was a bigger task to get done, fighting could take a back seat. Some things were more important than the thrill of combat.
" That building's our best bet for finding out any information. I say we go give it a shot, and if we don't find anything there, then we can wreak havoc with the natives... or just get the heck out of here."
As Warrior began making his approach again, he hadn't noticed Embera on a nearby rooftop as well. Seriously. I just noticed Billy's post was 4 minutes before mine O.o He leaped from building to building, more concerned with speed than stealth, trying to get to the Dark Citadel before he earned anyone's attention.
If Sun and Yun managed to keep up with him before, certainly they'd be able to keep up now.

[glow=white,2,500]*Warrior's inability to maintain stealth did in fact catch Embera's attention. Throwing a spear of fire his way, whizzing by his head, Embera stopped him from traveling.*
Embera: Just where are you headed?[/glow]

Caught.
Warrior stopped and turned around to see who threw the fiery spear -- not someone he expected to see, actually.
" ... I'd ask you the same thing, but I'm sure it doesn't concern me."
Warrior pointed to the large structure at the edge of the city -- not too far away from where he was now.
" That place."
He predicted she'd ask what he was doing down here, too. No sense in delaying an answer.
" Doing the same thing as before."
He was going to keep going, but he knew she'd just stop him again until she got what she wanted out of him... and hopefully it wasn't something that would attract too much attention from all the roaming navis below.
No choice but to play her game, at the moment.
" ... I don't suppose you've changed your mind about lending a helping hand, have you?"

[glow=white,2,500]*Embera stood up and cracked her neck. She stayed cool-headed, and never spoke more than what she needed to.*
Embera: No, I haven't. Let's just say for the time being, we share a common target then. Shall we go to the citadel?
*Embera didn't wait for an answer, as she exploded through the area, scorching the rooftops as she blazed into the next area.*

Warrior smirked.
That was the attitude he liked about Embera.
Not responding (nor addressing Sun/Yun), he chased after he with nigh-warp speed, zipping from building-top to building-top in a flash of light and followed by a high-pitched "zing!" as he made each landing.
There was no sense in trying to hide his presence after Embera's explosive exit... and he actually didn't mind it.

"Well, seems we'll be giving chase once more." As soon as Sun said it, the two were off, moving from rooftop to rooftop until they reached their destination.

Ruin woke up suddenly from a slumber he seemed to have slipped into while in one of the many dark alleyways in Hacker's N. Looking about, he stood up and walked into the main streets. Few rather sinister looking navis skulked down the street from place to place, a few groups could be seen having conversations. Really, it was like any other hub area, just the kinds of people here were of a less friendly variety. Surprising how different those of the surface see those in the undernet, when really they are far more similar than they think. Ruin however normally would stand out from them, but at this time, he had no direction. So much power with nowhere to put it. He knew his role, and a tool with out a master is a useless tool. He walked down the streets of Hacker's N aimlessly, slowly moving towards the portal returning him to Sharo. But he was in no hurry, he had nothing to do, he was simply waiting for something interesting to happen right now.

Coming out of the base of the Dark Citadel (but not necessarily finished with that area, yet), Warrior stood with arms crossed near the edge of the closest building, waiting for the three girls to come out as well.
This certainly wasn't the smartest idea he'd ever had, but for the sake of gathering information, it was well worth a shot. Odds of success wouldn't worry him... Worrying would only slow him down.

The young light navi exited right behind Warrior, deciding to wait with him for for the other girl. "So, just how long have you been helping others?" This probably wasn't the best thing to ask, or the best time to ask it, but she had to talk about something or she'd go insane.
