As Healer shot the first few fireballs, Feint stomped the ground with enough force to cause the snow on the ground around her to rise up in the air, absorbing the fire completely.
The splash of hot water in her face was an uncomfortable consequence from the melted snow, but atleast it saved her the trouble of having to deal her head being set ablaze.
She tried wringing the soaked, longer strands of her hair that normally hung on her shoulder as she watched Merrill make his approach.
" ... "
She made no evasions. Rather, she just continued to take each strike while continuing what she was doing before -- really not even flinching to each strike, despite the agonizing pain her body was screaming with.
The orbs that had been orbiting her latched on to Merrill as he attacked. As they drained his power, he would realize that they were actually Skeeter Virii infused with light. When he finished his attacks and moved on to Serix, the orbs brought themselves back to Feint and used the stolen energy from Merrill to heal each of her wounds. Even the scrapes and tears in her clothes from the sword slashes were somehow restored.
At that point, her hair felt as dry as it was going to get, so she stopped wringing it and let it hang on her shoulder again.
" ... I'm done here."
She began to walk away as he was going after Serix, dodging the MZKeyZoth thrown at her from behind with a slight tilt of her body.
Even the rising snow from the beam didn't get her attention. But Merrill whispering something in her ear was enough to aggravate her.
The feeling of his breathe on the back of her cheek was just... agitating. She grit her teeth and curled her lip when she noticed him behind her.
'Can a fairy do that to you? I assure you, You won't be--'
Before he even finished the whisper, Feint grabbed him from over her shoulder and flipped him over her body, sending him to the ground near her feet with such force that, again, the snow on the ground around her rose to about her eye-level from the impact.
It really wasn't enough to hurt, though, since whatever snow was left on the ground provided more of a cushion for Merrill than anything else.
She grabbed one of his swords and, with both hands, slammed it against her knee in attempt to crush it. It didn't break, but it made a nasty dent; bending the blade at an uncomfortably obtuse angle.
" Use your hands -- fight like a man!"
Feint threw the sword back down beside him as she turned her gaze back to Serix.
" ..."
Nothing needed to be said or done about that.
She could hear the girl's voice echoing through out the mountains as she was screaming to the top of her lungs.
" ... You thought this out pretty well. Screaming? On a mountain?"
The ground began to shake just a little.
No avalanche was in sight yet, but Feint had little doubt that there'd be one before long, if this kept up.

As Feint attempted to flip him over, he was taken aback a bit. The snow he landed on absorbed most of the blow. If at all he found himself looking up at snow. He managed to rise up out of the snow, shaking the snow off. He opened his wings, and sent out a gust of wind. He saw his blade stuck into the grond, semi-bent from whatever move that Feint had used. He would admit he was surprised. It was very difficult to bend one of his blades. He made a mental note to make sure he reienvorced the metal next time after this fight.
However, Merrill suddenly realized part of the energy he was storing had ben missing. He looked at Serix, but she was still blinded and hadn't tried anything against him. It had to be Faint. Some of the wounds he had inflicted had healed. Question was, how?
After Feint and Serix spoke, he couldn't help but smile.
"Ladies, please. Tag-teaming Healer and Myself? Really? I find this to be sligtly unfair. But.."
His blades retracted t him, the bent blade healed up and whole again.
"I find this to be worth my time, and slightly exciting, to see how this plays out!"
Merrill immidiately took off, heading for Serix. No way was she going after Healer without a warning. He closed the distance in about 2 seconds, and swung a blade at her. Afterwords, he spun around, and kicked at her. He sent a small blast of energy at her, as Healer sent more fireballs.
"Be careful when you attack Healer. I will not take too kindly to that!"
Merrill jumped back, and sent a gust of wind through by beating his wings twice. He would leave Serix alone until she wanted to fight him. Healer hopefully would be fine. Healer was no pushover.
Merrill snorted as Feint spoke about "Fighting like a man." He was not going to let her get underneath his skin that easily. If she wanted to fight with his hands, he would amuse her for a while.
Without warning, he charged, but insead of directly attacking he veered off to the right, jumping and trying a reverse spin kick, landing on his feet, and he turned all theway around in a 360 degree turn. He threw an elbow at Feint. He jumped back, and landed on his feet. He directly charged Feint, Throwing a flurry of ounches and kicks, until he tried a strike at her knee, he then pushed both hands forward, and sent a short powerful burst of energy right into her chest, down to her waist, making sure not to miss if possible. He jumped back, landing next to Healer.
Merrill and Healer stood, Creating a triangle between Serix and Feint. He wasn't going to give up an opening if he could help it.

Serix narrowly avoided being slice in twain by Merrill's blade. The other attacks, though, she could not predict.
"I can't believe you, hitting such a sweet, innocent, girl like me. You're mean."
She would then make it seem like she was crying, even though she really didn't have a problem with him attacking her.
She then launched wave upon wave of fireballs at both Merrill and Healer.

[bgcolor=232323] ((Battle extension: We'll go until the 6th Battle post, instead of the 4th, since we're all in favor of letting it go on a little longer.))
((Also, I'm gunna go try to fix my first post... sorry again, about that >.o ))
" 'Tag-teaming'?"
Feint raised an eyebrow at Merrill's remark. She hadn't thrown an attack yet -- except for that one counter she happened to use on him, in response to his taunt. And another counter thrown at Serix, earlier, when she lashed out.
" The girl's just smart enough not to come too close to me."
He probably wouldn't have heard her, as she responded while he was in the middle of his attacks. She grinned as he started heading her way again.
" And now we're back for seconds, hm?"
She veered out of the way of Merrill's kick -- only by just enough to avoid being grazed by his foot. She still felt the wind of the kick breeze gently across her face, but it almost seemed intentional for her to let it miss her by that close.
She caught the elbow, and deflected each of the quick punches and strikes that followed-suit. This girl was built for hand-to-hand combat -- she was virtually unscathed by it.
... That's what she had always told herself, anyway, until Merrill's strike-to-the-knee met it's target.
" Ngh!"
With only enough time to grunt and flinch, Feint was hit directly by his energy blast, and was sent spiraling a few meters back. She caught her balance mid-flight, though, and spun out of an aerial recovery to land on both feet rather smoothly.
" ... Count it as 'luck', that I happened to slip up."
Atleast this wasn't entirely as boring as she thought it'd be, though.
Watching Serix bathe them in flames wasn't exactly... fun, either.
Opening her palm in Serix's general direction, Feint sent a strong gust of wind to knock the girl off balance. No harm done, but it'd stop her from turning this mountain into a river. She rested her hand on her hip as she cocked her head to Merrill.
" How's that for 'tag-teaming'?"
Still no real offensive-actions made on Feint's part. It was as if she was waiting on them to show her a challenge, before she actually attacked either of them.

Merrill couldn't help but snort at Feint.
As Senka fired fire at him and Healer, Merrill took a few fireballs in his back. The fire licked at his wings, until Feint sent that gust of wind. His wings stung, but he could still fly. Turning towards Serix. He spoke/
"You? Innocicent? Please. You have done the most underhanded tricks of all of us yet! Don't think you have any advantage here by shooting fire at my back!"
Speaking to Feint next, Merrill turned his head in her direction, keeping several feet between Healer and himself betweenSerix and Feint.
"You get my point. And for the record, you did both attack us. So yes, it is a bit of tag-teaming. Also, your the one finding this borning, while all you do is meekly defend youself!"
This time, Merrill speaks to them both.
"Are we going to banter, or are we going to fight?"
Merrill takes of into the air, beating his wings heavily, causing snow to drift up into the air around everyone.

[bgcolor=lime]Serix wasn't buffeted by the wind, but understood enough to leave Merrill to Feint. The snow would melt as it came within an inch of Serix.
"This old trick again?"
Serix continued shooting flames at Healer, hoping to wear it down over time.
"Jeez, running away like that, this really has gotten boring."
She couldn't help sympathizing with Feint a bit when all their opponent did was run away.
"Why don't you come down here and fight like a real man, stop running away every chance you get."

Feint rolled her eyes at Merrill's comment when he mentioned her primarily defensive role in this little spar.
" Glad you've noticed how much I've been holding back. But if you really want a beating that badly, then I guess I'll start fighting now. And you..."
Feint's eyes shot over to Serix as she addressed the girl's comment about the battle 'getting boring'.
" ... Don't steal my lines."
As the words left her mouth, Feint's body disappeared in the wind while Merrill was still causing the snow to rise. She reappeared behind him to deliver an aerial-kick, fashioned as a backflip in attempt to knock him up into the air.
Whether it was successful or not didn't matter, since Feint immediately teleported again to the other side of him right after the maneuver, keeping track of his location to set up for another strike. Multiple times, she repeated this, each time attempting to gain more altitude with Merrill -- but even if some of the kicks had failed to meet her target, Merrill's evasion would only open him up for the next kick in the chain to send his body rising above the small storm he had created with his beating-of-the-wings, just recently.
After gaining enough height, Feint teleported behind him one last time for a finishing kick to bring him back to the ground.
It wasn't necessarily intended to strike him forcefully to the ground, but rather, the diving-kick was executed to connect with Merrill, and then drag him down through the air underneath her foot until he hit the ground with Feint on top of him.
Feint's eyes went back to Serix, after she was done with Merrill, not really too concerned about how he faired with it all. He could have avoided the combo all-together and she wouldn't have given the situation any particular attention as she began walking toward the girl.
" This is a free-for-all, not a 'tag-team'."
Wind began to gather around Feint's right palm, while an orb of water began to engulf her left.
" It's your turn, now."
As she made her approach, still walking with an almost arrogant aura about her, she continued gathering the elemental energy in each palm. Her grin was just enough to be noticeable, and it was noticeably cocky at that.
Healer didn't seem to be much of a threat here. And Feint had more self-esteem than to go all-out on a weak virus, anyway.
... Not that she considered Merrill or Serix as anything different, for that matter.

Merrill knew he had pressed the right buttons, all right. It was time to get serious. He laughed slightly at Serix.
"Running away? You call putting a few yards between us running away? Haha. I'm being nice. Besides, while yes, this is a sparring match, I don't hold a grudge against either of you, nor am I one to try and end my opponent. This, I see, is training. I'm meeting new people. I prefer to test us, and evaluate us. I don't want to hurt either of you permanently. Besides..."
Merrill's features softened for a moment. He spoke in all sincerity of his next scentance.
"I believe in cilvalry. I don't want to malitiously hurt a lady. In this case, two of them. I fight to protect, not to destroy."
As Feint attacked him, he dodged the first one, taking the second right underneath the chin. He flipped upside down, taking the next kick in the back. He got his hands up to block the next few kicks, but took one kick right before Feint hooked her leg against him as they decended. Right before they hit the ground, Merrill shifted enough to avoid Feing landing on him, but he still hit the ground, bouncing and rolling several feet away. He got to his hands and knees, and shook himself off. He stood.
"Thats better! Your taking charge and turning up the intensity! Good! However.."
Merrill stretched his wings to thei fullest extent, and the ground around them started to shake slightly. Merrill looked up, and used a tiny bit of the energy he stored up to show that Feint would have to do better to bring him down. There was a sudden glow about Merrill, a soft, gently mist-like aura surounded him, healing his wounds. After a few moments, he stood back in a fighting stance. Healer jumped on his shoulder. Merrill chcked her over, making sure she was okay. He stared at Serix.
"It's my turn now! Don't get upset now that I'm not, "Running away, girl!"
Merrill, charged, his blades hovering above him. Giving Serix hardly any reaction time, he slamed his sholder down into her, trying to throw her off balance. he brought his knee up, and attepted to knee her in the gut. He slid across the ground behind her, and struck his foot forward and to the side, trying to swipe Serix's legs from under her. The blades struck at Serix from where he stood. Merrill jumped back, Healer shooting fireballs from his shoulder as he gave them some room. Merrill then grabbed one blade, tossed it high into the air, and brought his empy hand down. As he slammed it down to the ground, the blade whistled straight down, and amed for Serix. Merrill purposely caused the blade to miss by a few inches, buut let the energy fom the blade that it had gathered from the light above and from the clouds, and from Merrill himself, explode, causing a shockwave, at near point-blank range. Staring at Feint, he closed the distance in seconds, getting close enough to hit, but instead, increasing his speed slightly moving to her side, and striking there.
"Interesting how your previous combo is similar to my own!"
Merrill struck at Feints gut with blinding speed, then using a palming thrust up into her chin. From there, he spun around and attepted a round kick into her chest. Leaving little time to react, Merrill swung at Feint again, and weather the attack hit or not, he knew the angle he struck at left her exposed somewhere. Merrrill brought his leg around again, and struck downwards at Feint, similar to what she did to him. After the attack, and Merrill's foot stopped decending, he jumped back, Healer cascading fireball after fireball at Feint. He stood in the snow, stuck in the center between where he left Serix, and where Feint had been. He kept his eyes peeled as he waited for either of them to make a move.
Whilst he stood, he though to himself about the last time he used that move. He remembered that the last time he used that attack was againnst his best friend: Warrior.

Serix had now been thoroughly angered.
"You......"
Speaking as she rose, a crimson red flame would envelop her, scorching anyone that got too close.
"......Will......"
She quickly closed the distance between herself and Merrill, grabbing at his head with her left hand, and charging her fire energies into.
".......BURN IN HELL!!!!!"
She released multiple fireballs from both hands, the right one aimed at his midsection.
When she was done with him, she would move towards Feint, kicking her hard in her stomach, then following up with a sweep. After this, she would launch a fireball at the ground between Merrill and Feint, then kick Feint in the face, a kick charged with all of her remaining fire energies. Even if it didn't connect, the energy it carried would do some damage.

Feint's attention snapped to Merrill as he charged as Serix while she was still making her approach to the girl.
" Ugh... Inteference..."
Annoying, but she figured she'd let him finish. She expected his retaliation, but not to the degree he delivered it. He had that uncanny tendency to taunt her before he attacked, too.
" Mere coincidence."
She anticipated the gut-strike enough to evade, but she had no choice other than to block the palm thrust at her chin, with her right hand. The wind she had gathered in that hand exploded from the impact, blasting back in her own face and throwing her off balance so that she found herself victim to the rest of Merrill's attacks.
The annoying little fire-virus starting raining fireballs on her a bit too soon to teleport away, so Feint raised both arms over her face to take each shot. They bathed her forearms in flames, but her spirit was tough enough not to let in hinder her for too long.
She didn't get the chance to extinguish those flames before Serix started her own little attack-chain. Feint took each of the strikes directly -- each one delivering more of a punch than she predicted -- up until the final, fire-charged kick.
She held up her left hand to catch Serix's foot. The orb of water she had gathered in that hand early was immediately extinguished upon contact with Serix's flaming kick, but it nullified the effects of her fire, creating a massive screen of steam to cover the two girls from Merrill's sight.
" ... "
Feint felt several bruises across her body from the combined beating of the other two Navis. A bit of blood trickled down the edge of her lip, and she noticed another open wound on the left side of her abdomen. Her arms had been doused from the steam, but they were still covered in ash up to her shoulders.
" Hmph... "
As the steam cleared, she made a glance at Serix, then at Merrill and Healer. She didn't seem out of breathe, but the slightly battered condition of her body showed that she couldn't take too much more of that abuse and remain standing.
" ... You runts aren't as pathetic as I thought, I guess."
The white orbs of light that had been orbiting her split into two separate groups, each group consisting of three orbs. The first group now began to orbit her wrist, like a bracelet, and the second at her chest level, like an amulet.
" ... But you still aren't worth my time."
She cupped her mouth as she turned around, tilting her head upward as she dropped her jaw for a deafening scream.
" AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"
Deafening was an understatement -- this scream was so high-pitched and powerful, it was literally just paralyzing to listen to. The girl displayed some impressive lung strength, with a yell like that. All wildlife within a mile's radius scattered away like headless chickens, in fear of what was to soon come.
After she let it out, she took a deep breathe to catch her air again, then turned back around and slowly walked away, between her two opponents, as the ground began to quake.
She just kept walking past them, but with a cocky tone of her voice, informed them of the obvious.
" Avalanche."
On a peak close to them, a massive cloud of dust and snow began to form and make its way down the mountain, headed in their direction rather quickly. As it fell, it left a trail in its wake that completely stripped the mountain bare of any snow after it had passed by -- which was only absorbed by the disastrous cloud that was now only seconds away. Even trees were uprooted by this unstoppable force.
There wasn't much time to run away -- the winged navi could easily fly over it, but that'd leave Serix caught in the storm to be "hurt permanently", which he already said he hadn't intended to happen.
Feint had her own way of escaping the madness. But she wanted to stick around to play 'chicken' with the other two navis, wondering how much closer they would let the avalanche get before running away themselves.
" Now... things are starting to get a little more interesting."

As Serix attempted to burn him, Merrill dodged her hand that was headed for his head. However, before he could get out of the way of the punch, Healer moved forward and took the fire blow... in the head. The complete shock of the attack, left Merrill completely open. However, after a second, Merrill sent a shockwave of energy, only making things worse when Feint screamed. When Merrill regained his thoughts, He snarled, blasting energy into the ground, causing a shockwave.
"Causing an Avalanche?"
He sighed. Well, he also caused it out of anger. Whoops. At least he could escape when it was time. He faced Serix.
"..."
Merrill charged. Swingng both blades, he snarled, slashing in an X wave, jumping over Serix. He cross kicked backwards, then spun around in a 360 degree strike, slashing at her back. He struck a kick upwards, and then let loose a powerful burst of light, and slammed her head, sending energy forward in a blast. He hopped away, and then Stared at Feint.

Serix's fire energies protected her from the snow by creating a pocket of steam around her. She narrowly avoided the swords and the cross kick. She was blinded by the light, but managed to get Merrill to grab her arm, not her head.
"Oh, now you're touching me? Pervert!"
As he was trying to slam her arm into something she used the other one to blast him away with her fire energies. The red flames growing hotter as time passed, heating the steam pocket around her. She recharged from the warmth, healing her damaged arm, but leaving the other damage as it was.
"So, you're a coward and a pervert, not my idea of fun."
With those last words to Merrill, she turned to Feint. She quickly ran up to her, kicking at her multiple times, each kick followed by a small amount of her fire energies. The a flurry of super-heated punches at Feint's midsection, followed by a barrage of fireballs as she circled around the girl.
"I was never pathetic, dear. I was just waiting for someone to get serious."
