[glow=white,2,500]*Embera remained cross-legged, rubbing her chin as Finale dashed away. She supposed that she should've followed him, but she could feel the chilling presence leaking from the Outpost. Looking over to Xion, Embera spoke calmly.*
Embera: Xion....I don't like the aspect of going to the outpost, and you've got eyes there anyway...I do say, I believe we should take leave in Electopia for now, stretch and flex, and get ready for the fun about to ensue. I know you can feel it. Not even we can hold a match to what's over there. Green Tempest is going to fall, with KnightMan and everyone in there....So let's go and get ready for the remnants looming after....
*Within a toss of ash and embers, Embera disappeared, her figure still outlined by the specks as they fell to the floor of the cell.* [/glow] [Location Change: Kotobuki Network]

"...Hmph."
*Having been at the site of the... who knew what itself, he knew that he didn't feel like nor want to go back. As Embera and KnightMan's aide had mentioned, it was likely time to make the best of what they were given and get out of here. That, and the very aspect of trying to charge something that clearly was just said to have Titan-Class power wasn't something he was fond of. Darkness pooled up about him, dropping down into it as he left the network of Creamland. Whether it was to regroup or just for actual safety was hard to say, wasn't it?*

Barreling toward the gates, plasma now flared up and around his entire body, his body primed for the simplest approach through the gates. Just through the gates. Utilizing a Full-and-a-half Synchronization program he momentarily tripled his output of plasma literally running through the gate as it evaporated on contact with his personal space.
Foolishly he stopped to take in his surroundings, and his breath. He was no Recon-Type, but he was Resourceful...without any resources but himself to use to stop pursuit. Perhaps the Wall itself would prove useful.

From guard stations within the wall the intruder was now looking at, dozens of guard demons poured out. Their ranks varied - some were hornless, the majority had three, and one or two were the six-horned elites. Alone with this group, the intruder may have had a chance of victory.
But they were not alone. More guards poured in from the nearby buildings, and still more from within the outskirts of Dark City. Masses of demons now surrounded the intruder, claws at the ready but making no move.
Then from the sky came their commander, the horse-headed warrior known as Nightwind. He landed in front of the intruder with a sort of quiet, dark grace, looking him over inquisitively.
As he touched down, his lips parted and a calm question escaped his lips almost casually.
"What brings you to Lord Samhain's 666th Colony in such a rush?"

Another question? There was no sand to kick in this guard's face, and there certainly wouldn't be enough for the rest of the horn and hornless surrounding him.
I am here to destroy your prisons.
All six fists were balled up and clenched as a haze of blue plasma washed over his body. He was generating the energy he needed for what was probably to come.
And then I intend to put this island underwater. Preferably with all of you monsters with it.
The Gigamerican's teeth clenched. He was ready.

So his purpose was merely destruction? How disappointing. His power was obvious - it radiated through the air. He was stronger than Nightwind, and the guard captain knew it. But stronger than Nightwind and all his troops combined? He doubted that. And besides... this new enemy was terribly naive.
"If your aim is to destroy the prison - singular, by the way, there is only one - then sink the island, would it not be more practical to simply sink the island outright and kill two birds with one stone? I doubt that's all there is to this. No, you wish to free the prisoners, in which case sinking the island afterwards would be a very bad idea unless you can ensure they all reach safety first. Not that you would be able to sink the island. This colony is protected by power beyond your understanding."
Though his words were condescending, his tone was civil, calm, and flat - simply informative. A tone he had practiced well over the decades. Often he found it the most practical in tense situations.
"If your concern is the well-being of the prisoners I can assure you that they are all quite fine. As to their freedom, I am confident it will be granted in due time. We have no reason to keep them here that I can think of. But I must admit it is not my decision to make.
The one facing an important decision now is you. I do not doubt your power... but do you truly believe it is wise to attempt to continue with your apparently ill-planned and ultimately inconsequential mission when you face this much opposition? Allow me to remind you that the entire island is filled with my troops. The sizable group around you is but a sampling. If you fight, you will lose. And we know now not to take you to the prison, thanks to your own careless words. But if you leave this place, we will not pursue you."
Around the intruder the throngs of demons gnashed their teeth and unfurled their claws, eager for battle. There were at least three dozen of them now, forming a black and many-eyed mass of opposition - a ring of terror with an icy and steadfast commander as its jewel.

So there were people in the prisons. He had planned on freeing those in the prisons. Seeing as there was no access restriction between this area or the rest of the Network, he could easily get those in the prisons to safety.
Hmph.
He remembered that the demon he had shot had turned to ash on the spot. Seeing as these creatures were not even from this world, he wondered if they would simply reform and return like a navi would, or if they only had a single chance at life.
I am optimistic horse-face.
He could see an end to the troops under three conditions. They ran out, they ran away, or he did what he came to do and left. The last option was ideal, despite three dozen and one more troops around him.
'A massacre it is then?' Thirty-seven on one. Let us get going!
He would wait til one stepped too close. And then...

*Well, he had his orders. He supposed he may as well start getting to them. He had to find some new blood of course for that. He would start the hunt shortly after making certain he could count Nightwind in on their list of people to call on whenever his favorite toxic fiend got back to him. One could imagine his surprise when his dark sphere fell and he found yet another hole in the wall. And a few ashes of course, so he started inside after that. It didn't take long after that to find Nightwind, listening to the conversation for a bit, though he didn't make it in time to hear the entire thing.*
"I'm all for a massacre. Well, usually anyway. But then I have work to do. So now isn't the time for that, unfortunately for me."
*He figured having more toasted demons wouldn't be nice yet. Sure they were amusing to mess with at their whims, but Nightwind was here too and he probably wouldn't like the demons being messed up just for personal amusement. Besides, watching a massacre wouldn't be as amusing as taking part in it and he didn't have any intentions of doing that.*
"With you though I guess fighting comes first. Then me asking you to show up later when I call you some other time."

Enhancer wasn't even going to face the same direction as whomever it was speaking to him from behind. He wouldn't risk turning his back to Nightwind...yet. He leaped forward, allowing a massive pillar of plasma to erupt around him, allowing him to clear over Nightwind and any of the horned guards. As he reached the apex of his ascent, a second burst of plasma shot outward and mainly down to the ground.
Hup!
The six armed navi landed upon the ground, stampeding onward.

The experienced warrior, stunned as he admittedly was by the sudden appearance of his governor, reacted quickly to the incoming attack. The golden metal on his armor glowed, forming a protective aura around him - one that was effortlessly shattered by the blast of plasma. The aura had taken the brunt of the attack, but the residual force knocked Nightwind onto his back and kicked up a cloud of dust around him. A few surrounding demons had been hit as well, all of whom were now nothing but ashes.
Reflexively, Nightwind jerked an arm to command the remaining troops to pursue the invader. They took off in a frenzied mass, hissing and groaning and shouting as they ran with surprising speed, closing the gap between themselves and Enhancer.
Nightwind stayed behind for the moment. He stood back up only to immediately lower his head in a bow.
"Governor Xion. Your absence has troubled me. Tell me, what are your commands regarding the current situation?"

Enhancer's second and third pairs of arms began to form small discs of plasma within their palms, each no bigger than a baseball in circumference. With a quick stop and turn in his path, he threw the discs in front of himself, and the plasma expanded into a quartet of three meter wide floating circles. The plasma from these circles repelled rather than burned and disintegrate on contact. They were slow moving, barely moving a foot after they formed. Between breaths he spoke as he went forth into the area beyond the wall, the City.
Deal... with that.('I'm not even made for all this...running')

For Nightwind, it was simple to "deal with that" - he took to the air and was over them effortlessly. The troops behind him weren't so lucky. They were pushed back ever-so-slowly and had to work their way around the balls, which took some of the less-coordinated ones quite some time. It was no matter, though - there were plenty more troops ahead, nearer to the intruder's destination.
As he landed, Nightwind turned to speak with the governor on strategy - only to realize he was no longer there. Once again, the supposed leader of the colony had disappeared when he was needed most. A similar offense to Nightwind's own - the one that had lost him the job. How very upsetting. Nightwind didn't like to admit holding grudges, especially against those who were his superiors... but Xion did not deserve the job. And it was about time to prove who did.
Clenching his fist, Nightwind sent out a message to all communication posts on the island. Short, simple, to the point. Effective. It was not a time for verbosity, but for action.
"All troops report to the Colonial Prison at once. Move quickly and in groups and convene in a ring around the building, and proceed inward through every entrance. Block the halls with your numbers. Do not stop for any reason. There is a target inside the prison - we are going to slaughter him. Guards on the beach remain at your posts. Leave behind one six-horned soldier at each communication terminal. Those left behind - if you see Governor Xion or Advisor Xyzillentz, contact me and send them to the prison. ALL other troops report to the prison NOW."
He knew he didn't technically have the authority to order the Governor or Advisor anywhere, especially not through a surrogate. At the moment, he did not care. This was a chance at redemption, and he was going to take it.
He took off into the sky, troops already pouring out into the streets and marching towards the prison near the island's center. As he continued onward, he contacted the head of security at the prison - a rather intelligent demon designated as #37...

Reappearing from Kotobuki, a visor wearing navi ran his finger over his visor's left section, mending the cracks within it slowly as he floated over the actual wall of Nightmare Wall. His head turned to face the general direction of this orange vortex and he squinted his eyes, trying to make out whatever was going on in the distance.

The streets closer to the wall close in... or perhaps it's the perspective lost as the wall itself looms overhead. The dirt and grime and blood and mud stuck uncleaned to everything gives off a pungent aroma that lends an even more oppressive sense to the area... and yet the lead knows these streets.
As he silently maneuvers the pair toward an entrance into the wall itself, the navi finally turns to his companion and answers: "There is. But it's mine to find."

“Wouldn’t dream robbing someone of the glory, hun.”
Yami’s words riding with her as she taken close to the side of the stranger. Her curiosity pushed her, a curse if anything else! As a woman of trade, however, she knew the risk. She knew there were some things that only she could find and only some places that she could go. That was where the rare things were: treasures, information, sentiments. Even now, in this wretched lost part of the network that was formally CreamLand, she acted as if it was all so naturally as it reeked with the foul odor of fallen and suffering, she knew beyond it all, there were stories and trinkets lost among it all.
“Being a witness to it all is pleasure enough for a woman of my caliber.” Her expression one of amusement and wonder, even in a place such as this.
