Kajira's body was coiled like a snake prepared to strike; she was away from Blake, now. She was ready to show what she could do.

"And we meet again. You're looking pretty tense though."
*The darkness sprouted from the ground, taking shape and form as Xion stood on the battlefield. The candle was with him this time too unlike the last time, crimson eyes flashing once briefly. Well, he did keep to his word at least. Now it was time to see how this would go.*
"I say some good old fashion 'fun' could help that out though."

Kajira smirked, brushing a bit of hair away from her face. "Just had a long day, is all. I could really use some exercise..." she spoke, giving the male a slight wink before she took a step back, falling into a fighting stance. "And if you're offering, it would be rude to turn that down!" she spoke, calling out the last word as she sent a gust of wind forward, following up the blast by creating two blades of wind, on on each arm, before darting forward, slashing at Xion.

*Xion's eyes smiled for him then, this would be some pretty fun exercise then. Raising his left arm as the blast of wind crashed and dissipated against it after doing its damage, he crossed both arms in front of him afterward, taking both hits as he was pushed back some as a result.*
"I always offer what's best for someone. If you always follow that need to deny that from yourself, there's no real point to it all."
*He wanted to test to see how many shots he could get in without her feeling it or feeling them. By appearances alone, she wasn't made to take blows. Then again appearances could be deceiving. One would expect him to avoid when he instead would take the attack. A purple flash covered his body before it flowed into the ground, turning their surroundings into a field of darkness. The wind was nice, but it alone wouldn't be enough if that was all she could send his way. Vanishing from sight afterward as nothing but the crimson streak left behind from his eyes remained, bringing a striking attack along the female navi before he turned, aiming both hands as a torrent of water was set loose from them. To go along with it, several meteors rained down from the sky above.*
"That and the general laws of society tends to fail at times. If you know what I'm talking about."
*Both eyes flashed before a sudden blast slammed into Kajira, followed by him closing the distance as his arm was engulfed in darkness, striking out with it in an instant before several blasts of fire crashed out afterward from the nearby candle. Hopefully this wouldn't be enough to end the 'exercise' already, he wanted to play some more.*

Kajira watched the man take the attacks head-on, which caused her to frown a bit. Her intention had been to use them to see exactly what sort of maneuvers he was capable of. However, the man had merely stood there, taking the blows without flinching, which wasn't exactly in her battle strategy. However, she wasn't one to merely take that lying down, and as she saw the reprisal headed her way, she readied herself for the onslaught.
"I suppose that's true. Denying what you want for yourself is rather foolish. At times, doing so is the polite thing to do, but doing so too often will make you a pushover!" she called through the storm of attacks.
As the cloud of smoke faded, the woman stood, arms crossed under her chest, watching Xion, a single arched eyebrow raised. "After seeing you the other day, I thought that you might have a little more in your arsenal than that." She smirked, glancing down at the encroaching darkness panels.
"No, I think not," she spoke, driving her fist into the ground, causing an explosion of sand to erupt away from her, the sand overtaking the dark panels. "While true, there are some reasons they're in place. Namely to keep people like that vampire friend of yours in line!" she responded, before spreading her arms wide, a burst of water blasting outward from somewhere before she shot forward again, the wind blades appearing once more as she slashed at Xion's defenses.

*Xion's eyes immediately went to the ground before the spray of water sealed a good portion of his abilities. The next was the slashing wind before he was caught in it, eyes flashing purple before an explosion of darkness was let loose. Through the dark two eyes of purple could be seen glowing through with a smile of purple light formed in a twisted manner before it ended. All that stood in place was the very same darkness, the very same eyes and smile before the smile faded and the eyes only remained.*
"....As if politeness got anyone anything in this world. Calling Purple--my bad, the vampire, a friend of mine is a tad bit insulting though. None of my friends are that lacking, and I'd rather have you as a friend instead of her."
*It was revealed what was speaking then, the very same darkness that stood in the place of Xion then. It moved forward ever so slowly, taking its own time, its own leisure. Xion had entered the state that he enjoyed the most, the one where he let out the most amount of enjoyable fun with his preys. And that in and of itself made him pleased already.*
"There's a mistake already. You assume we have to live within lines drawn and made by others. That in and of itself is denying yourself your own freedom, your own wants, your own needs and will. Doing so makes you weak and by extension, a pushover. I was testing you originally, but if you want to see my arsenal....far be it from me to deny you the pleasurable joy of it!"
*The darkness split off in different angles, completely incorporeal as it proceeded to move about and aim for Kajira at even swifter speeds than before. It struck once with a sudden strike as the meteors fell once again, but those were meaningless. The purple eyes flashed as it cut through sand and wind alike and pierced at Kajira before a sudden wave of darkness slammed into her from both sides before two more came from the front and back, slamming into her and holding her in place as more darkness gathered, forming the main form again.*
"I won't destroy you, no. That wouldn't be fun for either of us. But it's up to you whether you want to live beneath others and for others. If you want to live according to 'lines' and 'rules' instead of for 'yourself' or what you 'want'. This is one of the results of me doing so myself."
*The virus sent off a few more blasts of fire at Kajira pointlessly, but Xion was the main source here. The darkness all rose up in the air simultaneously as it all gathered into one black sphere in the sky before it fell down like a waterfall, a gushing waterfall at tremendous speeds that slammed down into Kajira all at once in a destructive display that tore and ate at the surroundings. Xion standing at the epicenter of it with eyes glowing still. This one was fun, and she could put up a better fight than plenty of the others he met. That was good too since it meant he wasn't wrong for once: he would enjoy meeting her time and again.*

Kajira watched as her attacks slammed into the other. She'd given her full force into that attack...there was no way that anyone could've surviv- Those eyes. Kajira saw the eyes leering out at her from the darkness, and she scowled, building up a burst of wind energy in her hand. If he didn't want to go down from that, then she'd force him down with the rest of her arsenal.
However, before she could continue, she heard his voice emanating from the darkness before her. She smirked as he put down Amethyst, though she kept the haughty look on her face. "I had a feeling that the two of you really didn't get along. She seemed rather vapid for one of your caliber. Tell me then, why did you deign yourself to stay within her company?" she asked, quite curious.
But he did not answer; he seemed to be in the mood for making a speech as he strode forward. He seemed to be one of those types who disregarded the thoughts and the whims of others, living only for himself. In Kajira's mind, that was incredibly selfish...though he did have some kind of a point, in that. Certainly, doing so without regard for what others thought was definitely selfish, but in doing that...one could achieve their own wishes and desires that much more quickly.
"I see that there is a point in these words of selfishness that you speak, Navi. There is a method to your madness, and while I see and respect that, it is not...it is not my path," she spoke, though the last few words were spoke with a hesitant note, as if she wasn't certain herself if it was correct. There was something that was...changing, within her, and she didn't really know that she was doing anymore. Certainly, she had been created to uphold the law, though through her own methods but...was she not her own thing? Could she not make her own decisions?
Her thoughts were suddenly extinguished as Xion leapt forward, assaulting her with a powerful darkness, one that more than doubled the attacks he'd launched the previous turn. She lived through the main onslaught, her armor cracked as the sand upon her flesh crumbled and the wind that surrounded her weakened. The woman stumbled backward as the final attack fell, shattering through her defenses, sending her flying backwards.
"Living to assist others, to help those that are too weak to help themselves is not living beneath them...they need those to help fight for them!" she responded, data leaking from her wounds as she struggled to get to her feet. The candle launched flames at her, but she summoned up a burst of wind, sending the flames awry. She pointed up at Xion, anger in her voice but confusion on her face. "If all acted as you, then there would be naught but chaos in this world!" she screamed out as the attack hit her, slamming into the woman. There was a thunderous explosion of darkness energy before the woman was tossed like a rag doll, landing a short distance away.
"Tch...you're..." she growled, clinging to life as she tried to struggle to her feet, but to no avail.

*Vapid...right. That about fit what the vampire was honestly. He was just using her to kill some time and seeing her attempts at an uprising was fine too, but more or less she served as a little bit of a decoy. No, that would be a bit unfair for her actually. Or....well, he supposed he would save any thoughts for that one for later. His form remained the same, but the darkness was steadily fading now as he walked toward her, crouching down as his eyes gazed down upon her.*
"You're already good on the eyes, but without all that armor over you, you're even better. Too bad I had to go so far to get it off, though."
*He let the rest of the darkness fade first, his partner at the ready before he halted it with a glance. The flames stopped, as the haunted candle vanished from sight. His own features returned as his eyes turned back to their usual crimson, the darkness fading if only for a time. The madness of the darkness always came back without a doubt. She was confused and was doubting her own self now, something that was common when you thought about your life. Think about it honestly. When you were made by someone, they made you how they 'wanted' you to be. Unless you took it upon yourself to realize what 'you' wanted by pushing beyond their clouded visions of what they wanted you to be or viewed you as, you weren't ever truly living for yourself. If you were, you were also living for that person. While it was a fun concept at a basis, that concept also bred for things that could turn far worse.*
"I'm with the bat because she can kill the time for a bit. If only a small bit, she somewhat sucks at that too. She has potential though, if she got over herself anyway. Living to assist others is fine if you choose it to be, but always remember that in the end those same people will want you time and again. They'll be too weak to do things for themselves forever, and in the end they will just end up having you there to work for them time and again. You'll be living beneath them and for them instead of for yourself except only for the part that you chose to do those things of your own volition. I'd rather not have everyone living as I do, since it wouldn't be as fun that way. There's always some things that are and some things that aren't, and without both it isn't nearly as fun. I prefer this madness as it is."
*He took the time to admire the destruction a bit. These were almost like the good old times, these scars. There had been those wars, the simulated ones that they were put through. The fights against one another, and then the freedom of being liberated. And in the end from their liberation came their war with one another, and then just what they were now. Then they had their present reality, something that would shift what he was all too used to, having those obstacles, those things to poke at their lives, to interrupt what they wanted and to just have some good old fashioned 'fun'. It sucked how things were going around more or less honestly.*
"Chaos....Order....are such things so important? I mean sure they are, but things only get bad when we get someone who wants to kill us all or enslave us all or put a tag and tracker on us all. Then we get all this stupid craziness again. What was so wrong with fight, destroy, build, fight, and destroy?"
*Xion ran one of his hands along Kajira's body while he spoke, eventually stopping while he placed his hand on Kajira's face and lifted it up so she could see him briefly before letting go. He wasn't all for the philosophical approach to life, but he did agree that this whole 'hiding from others' and just listening to others so they didn't get in any trouble was annoying too.*
"To finish your sentence though, I'm right, I'm wrong, I'm a lot of things. But let me ask you something too then. If it isn't your path, what 'is' your path?"
*He had thought to leave then, but he didn't just yet. He was curious actually on what answer she would come up with. She had no one else here to lean on, no one else to help push her answer one way or the other. All she had was herself and her own thoughts about it. He could do something else too, which he actually did then. One of the chips formed in his hand, before it vanished in a flash of fire as a purple glow overcame Kajira, restoring her for a time, but with a powerful downside to go with it. She wouldn't have any excuses now, and he had already won the fight. She wouldn't die from it, and he'd make certain not to waste her time to make matters worse for her too. He could do that to someone else later today anyway to make up for it.*

The woman lay upon her back, her entire body aching from the battle. While he had said that he wouldn’t delete her, and while he had remained true to his word, the woman found herself wishing that perhaps he should’ve; she could barely think right now, let alone continue the fight. But his speed of approach was slow and methodical, which indicated that he wasn’t looking to drag the fight out anymore. Not that it mattered; they both knew that he was definitely the more powerful of the two. Not since her update at Blake’s hands had Kajira’s defenses been pierced, and this had been the one who had done it…she should know that resistance, at this point at least, was futile.
At his words, she couldn’t help but grunt in some level of disgust. She knew that Blake had designed her as a rather attractive woman, but that was the last thing that she wanted others to see, which is why she hid in that whirlwind of wind and sand. The only thing that people got to see was the whirling demon dervish, the one who’s attacks could not penetrate the tornado, and who turned that offense into a sandstorm that ripped the flesh from their body. She hated feeling so exposed.
Reluctantly, almost as if looking upon the face of one who planned to steal that which was most precious to her, she looked over at Xion, watching the man as he watched her. As he knelt, the darkness that had surrounded him began to fade, and she wondered just how in tune with that darkness he was. He treated it like an old friend, like the coat he’d had forever and couldn’t bear to part with. When the weather turned cold, rather than something new, he took the familiar from the rack and tossed it about his shoulders. She could tell that, with this one, there would be no parting him from the darkness in which he walked; it belonged to him just as much as he to it.
The candle, the one light around them, faded at Xion’s command, leaving the two only in the faint light of the artificial moon, overhead. Her eyes, however, never left the man that knelt before her, flickering over his body. There was very little see beneath the armor, save for the crimson orbs, which seemed to stand out even more due to the dull colors of his armor. From what she’d gauged from him so far, that seemed to be his intent of his appearance. He wasn’t exactly the most-likely to stand out, unless his eyes were seen…and in that, she doubted that he let those see his eyes unless he wanted people to remember him.
She listened to his words, grunting slightly as he spoke. She didn’t exactly agree with what he was saying, not for the most part at least. Granted, she did know that those who simply too weak to stand on their own would time and time again look for someone else to help them. That was an undeniable truth, and while he flaunted it like it was knowledge she didn’t know, she was acutely aware of such a thing. But she couldn’t just bring herself to abandon them; to do so would be as similar as committing them to the slaughter. ”Your opinion is noted…but I disagree…” she panted, the pain still thudding through her as she tried to breathe and stay from deletion. ”There are those that defend…for a reason…”
The man did not respond, then, instead taking the time to glance out over the landscape, an almost nostalgic look on his face. She, too, forced herself up enough so that she could look around. There was destruction all around them, both from where her sand-carrying wind had worn structures down to skeletons of their former glory, while the raw darkness from Xion’s body had obliterated what was left, leaving the buildings around them broken down to a veritable wasteland. She grunted, no longer supporting her body as she lay back down, closing her eyes as she tried to block out that image. She had inadvertently assisted in this destruction…how could she have not seen how destructive it was? But…
Her body tensed at his touch, feeling the hand move over her body. Truly, the layer of sand that covered her skin was more useful than merely deflecting attacks; she had to feel the armored hand move up her body. She shuddered as it passed over her upper body, though part of the back of her mind wondered if it was in disgust or some twisted sense of pleasure. Before she had time to think on it, however, he lifted her face, their eyes meeting for a time before he released her, leaving the woman once more to lay upon the damaged ground.
She attempted to answer, but the strength had gone from her, and she merely gave a grunt at his question. She didn’t know what more to say, but it seemed that the other did not take that as an applicable answer. He produced a chip, and from its appearance, she knew it was a Dark Chip. Feebly, she tried to move away, but the man had none of that, and the woman was suddenly bathed in a dark purple light. She felt strength seep into her body, but she felt…wrong, somehow, and gave a shudder of uncertainty as she sat up, the glow slowly fading.
”My path?” she asked, rhetorically, as if perhaps voicing the question aloud would get her mind working. ”I was created to help the ONB, to do the things they were too squeamish or too weak to do. When that involves catching or deleting criminal navi, I have no problem in doing that. I…I haven’t really thought about it,” she said, honestly. She’d done what Blake had wanted, but she was starting to see Xion’s point, if only a little. How was she living if she wasn’t even doing what she wanted? But…she didn’t even know what that was…

*'There are those that defend for a reason'...funny words. He supposed they were true though. He had met some people that did such a thing. He had met those who had decided to die for such things too for the benefit of others in the end. Some would return some time to fight again while others weren't quite as lucky. People from the Endgame, others before that like two of his own siblings at that no less. It seemed like she didn't much appreciate how destructive they had been, how destructive 'she' had been. But that was fine actually, she was usually just in the fight to fight the fight, not see how the outcome was. She never actually had the time to look back on it, and he could tell that she was very much confused about a lot of things. Well, he supposed that if you knew everything, everything wouldn't make any kind of sense.*
"See? There's your problem. You don't have a reason in mind to defend others, so you can't use that for an answer. You did what you were asked, well, 'told' to do without ever thinking on what you wanted to do either. That just doesn't work out at all. Think about it for once and take a gift while you're at it, just don't abuse it. It's a rather rough fit after all if you do."
*The darkness flowed up from his left hand before it turned into a purple fire that flowed off and circled Kajira before flowing on in. After it was done, the same chip from before had formed there, the Dark Recovery. Of course, it wasn't the easiest thing for him to get honestly, but he didn't mind. He was in a good mood and he didn't particularly enjoy watching someone be so helpless with themselves about themselves. She was someone who didn't deserve to just be like so many other people that lurked around.*
"You know what it can do and you know what it can't do. It can help you and give you a piece of mind when you use it once. If you use it too much, you'll lose yourself unless you're good at it. Eventually when you feel that you no longer need it, you can destroy it."
*He heard that someone could destroy it and grant some light as a result of it. It would help her because she would already be able to at least think slightly more clearly. It'd be more confusing first of course before it even started to become remotely obvious. She was a good and perceptive one, but she was completely new at this. New to so many things. Most would take advantage of that and mold her however they so desired, but he felt it better to let her do her thing there. Molding people took too much time honestly, and while he did enjoy the pleasure of messing with people, it wasn't something he would do. He had seen enough of that going bad when it was put into practice. He was one of them.*
"I'll check up on you when I have free time too so I can see how you're getting along there. Just watch that guy who updates you, he might mess around there: accidentally or purposely."

The woman’s eyes were closed as she sat up, and she was struggling to feel the effects of the dark chip that Xion had used on her. She could feel its taint within her systems, and though the reprieve it had given her was great…the drain on her body was something that she wasn’t particularly enjoying. She attempted, once, to get back up to her feet, but that attempt failed, and she fell back down to her knees, panting. She could feel the dark energy flooding through her body, and while she wasn’t particularly keen on it, she also couldn’t deny that it had a certain…allure. It was like the forbidden ruit of paradise, in a way.
She forced her eyes open as she glanced up at Xion, who appeared to be lost in thought. She had no idea what was going through the man’s mind, and really, she didn’t want to know. What she knew of this one so far meant that whatever was going on inside his skull, it likely would be something that would only confuse her further, and she was already disordered enough.
Listening to his words, Kajira gave a grunt. “It’s what I was made to do,” she argued, though even she was aware of how weak of an argument that was. Certainly, even if she was made to do a certain thing, it was ultimately up to her whether or not she did what she was created for, right? Granted, Blake could always delete and/or reprogram her, and make her a little less willful, but she didn’t know that he would ever do that…
Instead of answering her question, the man simply extended his left arm, darkness beginning to swell around it. She thought, briefly, that perhaps she’d done something to offend him, that he was now going to end her right here and now. However, there was a burst of purple flame, then, which surrounded her before forming into the Dark Chip that he’d used on her before. The woman frowned, looking at it before she gingerly took it, feeling the dark data creep into her systems, suffusing her with the glitchy program. She doubted Blake would be too happy to know she had it…but that was something she’d deal with later.
She looked from her hands, where the Dark Chip had been, up to the man who towered over her. “Right…” she spoke simply, before she pushed off the ground, finally making it up to her feet. The acquisition of the Dark Chip had, somehow, seemed to take some of the strain off of her body from its effects. Hopefully she wasn’t becoming a darkloid…not this early at least. As he spoke of destroying it, the woman glanced up at him with a smirk. “Destroy it? It was a gift, at the very least, and that would be quite rude. Perhaps it will simply be a gift to another, or once I no longer have need of it, I will return it to you,” she responded in kind.
Despite the fact that confusion was running rampant in her mind, she had managed to keep some of her old spunk. The fact remained, however, that she now had quite a bit to think about. How could she choose a path when she didn’t even know what it was she wanted to do? She felt bad about having destroyed a great deal of the area around her with the sand and wind, and the woman didn’t exactly feel at peace with deleting other navi…so that likely ruled out her being a darkloid. But neither did she always want to play the hero.
The woman glanced up as he began to leave, and she frowned. “Wait,” she spoke, before moving up to him, extending her hand. “With all that’s been said, I don’t think we’ve been properly introduced. I’m Kajira,” she spoke firmly, her eyes on his own red ones.

*What she was created for....right. And he was created for war and assassinations, along with the fun fact that their eldest brother had been given the priority programming to wipe out the network and they were supposed to help him. That got them one very dead brother since they said no, but hey, the wars and assassinations weren't completely bad when he was still being used for those. Technically he still ended up in those because of the world at large, but at least now he let people know when he was headed their way....on a good day. Looked like she could stand now, so it would probably be good if he let her go and get the proper rest, that and she surprised him. Well, he supposed she had to at one point honestly. A gift that kept on giving or was returned when she no longer needed it, and while she had no problem deleting or fighting it out with anyone, she didn't like the mass destruction she could cause while doing it nor would she just delete them if she had no reason to. Was up to others to say whether or not that was a good thing than wanton destruction or not, the eyes of Xion fading as he had planned to leave then until he heard her call out to him before he could. Eyes appearing once again, meeting Kajira's own then.*
"It's been a while since I've actually done a proper introduction. I'm Xion. Pretty sure it's been a pleasure for the both of us."
*In an actual show of good spirit, Xion extended his own hand, taking hers into it in a firm greeting. It could be considered their actual greeting given that they had only seen one another before and now and each time they didn't particularly 'greet' one another, they were about to get into a fight. One he would have enjoyed doing anytime. The darkness started to swell up at his feet as he let go of her hand, eyes still meeting her own as it started to cover him afterward. Once it had covered him completely in an orb of darkness, the same eyes and smile formed on it, save they were red now rather than the purple seen from it when he had manifested it in its full glory. And again she could hear his voice, this time directly emanating from the darkness.*
"Remember what I said, and be sure to have fun too: gift and all others. Just don't let it control you and you should be fine, which means don't overuse it."
*Yeah...like she knew how many times she had to use it before it was overused. It was only about four or five times that she could before things got rather insane for her and he would probably have to go find her and see if he couldn't straighten her mind out. Then again, most of the ones using the darkness were insane to the batty level. Not like he could judge his own sanity meter either actually, it'd be kind of bias if he did actually. The dark orb simply collapsed onto itself, nothing remaining afterward but the words, the exchange, and the fight between the two. Then again, there was also the several other things that remained between them, that one chip just being one of them after everything was said and done. They'd meet again sometime too of course, something Xion himself would look forward to each time.*
