*....or not. With a sigh, Iscon pushes his cart to the side in order to keep it safe. A moment later he pulls the pick-axe off of his back and slams it into the ground, opening up a small fissure. He then walks up to the darkloid and puts a steel hand on his shoulder*
Iscon: Excuse me.
*Ignoring the darkloid's thrashing and allowing his steel-lined coat to take any attacks that he may make, Iscon lifts him up using the retractable steel spikes that line the palms of his gloves to keep a solidgrip on him. The metal hermit then carries his captive over to the fissure and plants him in that spot, holding him down by the shoulders to ensure that he remains in place for what happens next*
Iscon: I'm sorry, but you really need to calm down.
*A dark energy suddenly forms around Iscon, focused around his hands, and the already frigid temperature in the area drops a few degrees. Within seconds, a thick layer of ice forms in the hole and locks the darkloid in place with only his head above the ground and unfrozen. Iscon then takes a step back and shakes his head*
Iscon: If you want to destroy yourself with dark chips, that's your business. But please try not to go crazy in the future.
*With that, Iscon takes his cart and walks on as if nothing had happened*

[bgcolor=gray] The two officers had skill, and speed, but even two against one, it was looking to be a tough fight. Both if the sword wielding officials had some light cuts from close calls with the many blades the navi was using, and they too were tiring quick. Thankfully though, Iscon came and single handedly subdued the threat for now. Immediately he went off again not even waiting for a thanks from the squad.
"...Wow we need some guys like that on the squad..." one of the two fighters commented. The other navi nodded his consent, and both cautiously walked closer to the now buried, frozen, darkloid, weapons at the ready. The squad leader moved up behind them, and raised an eye brow at the murderer as he spoke. "Well well well...you were a feisty one for sure. Hope you realize you are in for some rough times for resisting arrest." he stated. He assumed the navi was as good as trapped, and called for a transport to come so they could take him away safely, with out much worry of him causing farther damage. It would take a bit of time to arrive...but he didn't seem to be going anywhere. [/i]

The Fiend could have escaped easily, given the opportunity. Yet no such window opened for him. So, being stuck in the ice created by that metal navi, he had no choice but to wait for them to dig him out of it and send him away.

[bgcolor=3D3D3D][From New Life: ONB HQ page 19]
Three beams of generic white light hit the ground in the square where the incident had been going down. The beams vanished just as quickly as they arrived, leaving behind 3 metallic programs, you could call them navis but they are near entirely automatic. They were the ONB's version of a generic guard: The Joes. Coming in all shapes, sizes, and degrees of power these ones could be considered a 3 each.
Quickly realizing that the brawl of the disturbance had been resolved the three Joe's surrounded the trapped navi and awaited their superior, who arrived a moment later in a beam of red tinted, but still white light. Iria's coat sleeves flowed gently with the biting winter wind while her arms remained crossed at her chest.
Erm. Looks like they had it under control the whole time. One of the Joe's(If you've been following along this is Tim) sighed as it spoke.
...Still, take this trash back to HQ, into the brig. Iria stopped just above the offender and shoved his head with her boot. Meanwhile the Joe's began the arduous task of affixing an inhibitor device onto the dark navi. It would take a couple minutes to finish though.

*"Corrosion" came out of the pub a little later with a completely satisfied feeling...or one of inebriation, he didn't mind what you called it at the moment, to be honest. Stumbling out, with enough focus to keep his pack secured, he made his way out of Sharo. Staring at his feet, as if trying to walk a straight line, he did everything but. Paying no attention to exactly where he was going, he bowled Iria clean over, falling flat on his face after. Getting back up, he chortled a bit before figuring out what to say. Gathering what little composure he could, he managed to slur out an apology.
"Corrosion": I'm so s-*hic*-orry miss...Didn't watch my s-*hic*-step...
*Seeing himself in no condition to even walk properly, he fell backwards in the snow, letting it cool himself off for a bit.

While the other two navis were busy, and the joes were fumbling with a device, the fiend's opportunity had finally presented itself. One could hear the ice cracking and buckling as the dark one sent shock-waves of his dark power through the crystallized water. Then, in an instant, shards of Ice were sent flying in every direction as he burst out of his hole in the ground. In an instant, the seeds of chaos began to spread outward from the darkloid. Those effected would begin to act in a strange manner. Darker, less cautious, and definitely more savage than ever before. With his purpose served, the darkloid left through a dark portal, that he himself had created with the power of chaos. Where the portal led, no-one could say. All that was certain was that it would not be a nice trip for those that entered. The portal, of course, would remain open for three days.

*A moment after the darkloid escapes, a shadow behind the Navi calling himself Corosion moves. Reality seems to bend in a small localized area around it as it dashes into the portal, somehow closing it behind itself*

[bgcolor=3D3D3D]Iria picked herself up from the drunkards oblivious wandering and mumbled to herself Watch where you're going smelly. The 'smell' could practically be seen pouring off this guy. Iria pawned it off as another Sharo Drunkard, something the place had enough of to not be uncommon.
Turning back to the Joe's as they worked she was met with disappointment. The navi had escaped. Iria hung he head and rubbed her eyes.
...You didn't finish the inhibitor, did you? Sad words dripping from her lips as she muttered the sentence.
The joes looked to each other and the two faceless ones looked to Tim, who had been singled out to deliver the bad news. No ma'am. The device is securely implanted but only 80% completed install to activation.
Iria picked her head up from its slump and eyed the now not so nameless joe down. At least he can be tracked then. She adjusted her hat with both hands and gave the joes a '...Well?' sort of expression. To which they instantly picked up what they were supposed to do and began the arduous task of scanning the nearby areas for the criminal via their internal searching functions.
When the quickscan brought up nothing the trio expanded the search for other countries as well, starting with Netopia and working their way down the list.

[bgcolor=3D3D3D]Doublepost because I'm a strong independent moderator who don't need no sugar daddy.
Minutes pass and the Joe's vigilant search comes to an abrupt end, with no results. Having already been voted once before to be the bearer of bad news, Tim was volunteered once more for the position.
Ma'am, we can't find him. He's either off the net, in the undernet, or deleted.
The news didn't completely surprise her, but of all the options the joe suggested the criminal having a netop was one she disliked the most. The ONB couldn't just hack into peoples PET's willy nilly to inspect for criminal activity, at least not without a warrant but in all honesty how could you get one without the navi being an uncommon and well known model? Such frivolities were not something Iria would dwell on, that part wasn't her job.
Well, if he's in the undernet then he'll be deleted by nightfall, battle weary crooks don't last long amongst their own backstabbing kind... If he's logged out we'll see him soon. Now if he is actually deleted that's an issue. No one ever stays dead in this world(the net), and that inhibitor unfortunately doesn't stick with them when they recollect the bits of themselves. *sigh* Oh well let's go.
With that Iria motioned for her Joe's to leave, beams of cliche beams of white light concealing the three of them, and Iria's red tinted beam herself. Then they were all gone.
[Iria n co back to ONB they gooo!]

*"Corrosion" soon dusted himself off after Iria had left the area. With a sigh of relief, and a spasm of coughing, the man sat up, wiping his mouth. He got up and brushed off his case as he walked out of the Square.*
"Corrosion": Better she think me a drunkard than a darkloid, that's for certain. Well, I believe it's time for me to head to my last stop....Then business will finally be booming again.
*As he muttered to himself, the edges of Sharo became more visible, and he soon made way for Netopia.*
[Location change: Wherever in Netopia.]

[Serix from Reconstruction]
Serix: "Hm....Something seems very different about this place......"
Shards of black Ice littered the ground around a navi sized hole. Upon touching these Ice shards, Serix felt something strange....a dark power locked within.
Serix: "Well, this is interesting."
Taking out a small transportation device and activating her transmitter, she sent an email back to ONB HQ with five of these shards.
From: Green Tempest : Serix To: ONB : Terra
Message: I've decided to search for Knightman on foot. If you find out anything about him, you now know how to reach me. Anyway, I'm in Sharo at the moment, and I found something interesting. I've enclosed the findings in a zip file. Shards of Ice that seem to be charged with some sort of dark energy. Handle with care.
--Serix, Green Tempest Commander Pro Tem
After sending this message, Serix stopped in at a local bar to see what she could find out.
Serix: "I'm looking for a particular navi."

Com Square seemed to be bustling with life, despite it's frigid temperatures. In the midst of it all, a streak of blue light shot down from the sky. When the light touched down, a navi stepped out of it. He made his way over to a nearby bench and seemed to be waiting for someone.
"Hope they get here alright."
And so the navi known as Kidd waited for his compatriots to arrive.

Soon after that, a beam of white energy, crackling softly with electricity, speared the ground. As it fades, a short, slight form walks out, shivering slightly and wrapping himself u with a red cloak. Spotting Kid and Russel, Ful waves, glancing around. Hmmm...what was here...Focus!! Explore later!! And so the navi ignores his curiosity, walking over to his two companions."H-hello.."

"Hope he doesn't take too long. Wouldn't do well for him to get lost."
Kidd sat back further on the bench and took part in what humans called People Watching, trying to gather what information he could.

Fulgur nods, glancing around." Y-yes....I hope he's OK...." The young navi bites his lip nervously, then adjusts his cloak some more, pinning it under his shoulder armor so it was hanging all around him.Suppressing another shiver, he examines the area some more."D-do e-either of you wanna explore?" Ful figured that if they were going to be companions, he might as well get used to hanging out with them...Besides, he'd never been to Sharo before.
