With a slightly puzzled look on his face, Rex motions over to a nearby light-pole with a plugin port.

Walking over to the lamp post she stretched out her arm straight as she held her PET sideways as she pressed a button and the red light hit the port, she soon held it correctly as a holoscreen formed, viewing the net. Seeing it flooded with a strange fluid, she noted the familiar black navi as she saw what happened to the slotted air blade chip, she paid attention to the smaller yellow navi before speaking.
"So, here you are, Guardian."
Guardian looked back to the screen to the real world shocked under her visor, meanwhile Chie looked calm, and slightly down on her navi as she still kept a front of confidence and elegance as she hid any emotional relief at finding her navi, keeping with the illusion of the strong, independent woman albeit being in society depending on navis.
"Am I interrupting?"
Guardian returned with shaking her head as her posture tightened, as if she gained strength to break boulders. Looking back at her netOp, hope returned to her as she recalled the narwhal.
"Not at all, well, in fact I got some business to complete. Now that I'm synced I'll be back for super."
Chie nodded, knowing that her navi would have a plethora of stories to tell after a few weeks, she accepted that Guardian had to finish something, especially when the local net was during some form of issue.
"Your synced to my PET again, I'm in no hurry."
Terminating the holoscreen, she put her PET away as she walked back towards Rex, with no worries in sight she simply looked at him with focused, eyes from the side as she was about to pass him.
"Thanks for your assistance, please tell Challenger his services are no longer needed."

Rex raises an eyebrow at the rather cold way that Chie walks away, done with her need for help or comfort. It would be an image that he remembers well in the future.
Shrugging it off with a nod, Rex walks forward and waves Chie off without turning back to her. Now that that was over, there were other matters to attend to...
