As she said this, Sara unplugged her PET from the computer, having no success at finding the security systems.
Sara started walking as she said this. When she rounded the corner, she broke into a dead run, jumping and kicking at one of the mysterious figures when she reached the other end. If these figures were armed, she was doomed, but, she couldn't just sit around and do nothing. Let's face it, she was scared about what might happen, but she had to make sure that the team got through. She had to create some kind of Opening.

Legend: [X] Wall [O] Party [_] Empty [?] Unknown [O] Sara [H] Hostiles [h] Hostiles (Knocked out) [=] Door [L] Loot
Peering down the hallway, you find that there is, in fact, a door, hidden embedded in the side wall of the entry hall.
Sara's attempts to hack the terminal fail, as the terminal is, in fact, connected only to LAN, and not connected to the building's full Network. A few options appear:
>First Aid >Virus Busting >Mystery Data
Jameson and Shakeem's collective searching yields the information that there is a <Blue Keycard> tucked away in the far corner, just behind an enemy militant.
As Sara runs down the hall, she finds the first enemy rather simple, yielding immediately to Sara's power. Or getting knocked out by a boot to the head, that too. The dauntless girl finds herself surrounded by two hostiles, with guns drawn.
Tenma's daughter watches wide-eyed, fearing for Sara's life. Muttering something under her breath, she clutches her chest, as if her heart might burst from its cavity.
The hostiles yell something in Choinese, unintelligible to those not knowing the language.
"Jr'ir tbg na vagehqre!"
Their weapons pointed, someone would have to make a move to save Sara... and soon.

Feint noticed a door just down the passageway. It was close enough that they could probably sneak there without being seen. She had to be careful though, because the only advantage they had right now was that the enemy forces didn't know they were here.
Until Sara ran in like a drunk rhino and bum-rushed one of the very armed, very dangerous men at the end of the hall.
She was certainly brave. She was certainly heroic. And most of all, she was certainly a--
... Uh, that?
But technically, the enemy still didn't know Cherish was here. The only thing they knew for certain was that Sara was here, and maybe they'd just beat her unconscious and take her captive instead of outright killing her. If nothing else, it'd clear the way for the rest of them.
As tempting as the proposition was though, that whole self-speech about "being responsible for these scrubs" was still echoing in her head. Unfortunately, now was the time to do something about it.
"Cover your ears."
Well she wasn't planning to blow any limbs off of people today, but stupid has its consequences, and expecting this daft girl to be anything but daft was certainly a stupid decision on Cherish's part. She should have left her at the bus stop.
A handgun (with the firepower of a tank) aimed down the hallway as Cherish stepped out to cover Sara's retreat. She motioned with her head for Sara to run toward the door closest to the group and get inside.
If Sara obeyed for once, Cherish would have a clear shot at the two pursuers as they chased her -- a clear shot she'd regrettably (but unhesitatingly) have to take. She'd aim for the weapons if possible, but if the only available shot was fatal, then today she had two more deaths to atone for.
Regardless of whichever though, they're cover was blown.
Guns....guns were bad. But then, who said Sara was good? Both targets were relatively close to her. She could take them both out, she just had to figure out how. She smiled as an idea finally crossed her mind. Given how easily the first one went down, these two would likely be nothing without their weapons. Her smile was not false, she was happy for some reason. Very few people would know the meaning of that smile.
"You're really pointing a gun at me? You must really want to die then."
She kept smiling as she approached the nearest one.
"Time for you to sleep."
She reached into the skirt of her dress, pulling out a knife which she used to slash at the throat of said target while flicking three more at the other target. These men were weak and she knew it. Now she was using that weakness against them.

Eyes widening at Sara's course of action, Jameson does his best to dispose of his misgivings. Frustrated more by the fact that Sara ignored Cherish's cover to retreat, Jameson readies himself still behind cover, not wanting to step out into Cherish's line of fire, waiting for what's to come.
Serix found her knife connecting what was likely a metallic arm-guard, but she wouldn't have time to check, as she found herself with the butt end of a rifle in her face. Before she could grab another knife, the other lifeless-eyed hostile had already grabbed both of her arms, capturing her in a swift motion.
With only futility in resisting, Sara was dragged away.
Sara seperated from group! Embera and Serix disconnected from <PET> Hostiles cleared! PET Panels now available! Sara may act, ask questions, and continue posting, but is movement restricted.
It seemed things had suddenly taken a turn for the worst...Shakeem had seen Cherish seemingly prepare to cover Sara, but it seemed neither of their plans worked...though they temporarily had one less guard to worry about.
"Shoot, now we've got another objective on our hands...!" the young man said, eyeing the downed hostile.
"We have to find her before they somehow make her talk...!"
Despite not acting quick enough, the fact that one of them was captured opened his eyes to grasp the weight of the situation even more...they'd really need to work together or they'd fail this mission!
Deciding to advance a bit, Shakeem kept up his guard and proceeded to make his way cautiously over to the downed hostile, attempting to remove whatever weapons he had on him,as well as searching his pockets for anything that could be useful.
'We might need some kind of keycard in this place...surely this guy has something useful on him, right?' Shakeem pondered, staying alert in case Sara hadn't fully K.O'd the guy.

Cherish had a good question...and Xenneth did not have an answer.
He wish he had a better answer, and the expression on his face as he lowered his head shown how utterly useless he felt. However, events escalated so quickly that his feelings became irrelevant. He went from saddened to in terror in a few short minutes as they engaged the hostiles with extreme prejudice. Xenneth stayed his back to the wall, hands over his ears as the group rushed and stepped from the safety of their perch. He shut his eyes for a moment, but could not help but to peek as the next he saw Cherish be still and an inaudible Shakeem.
He heard enough to put together that something went wrong. Apparently, one person that was out of his eye sight was most likely not going to be back anytime soon. Xenneth had stood up, slowly, as he came out of his worried, feeble positioned and etched himself to the nearby right side of the wall. He could see something just around the corner, but just barely as he taken out his P.E.T. in hand with Megami and Unity still within.
“I-I can’t do much...b-but Megami can. What if I find some information...”
Approaching the P.E.T. Panel (At least I think that’s what the Blue “N” is, right?) the violet haired boy attempted to access some information. He was silent as he did so as it did not cross his mind to warrant the others about his action.

(( OOC: The information on the panel was revealed earlier in encore's second-to-most-previous-post, so you can specify which item you want to expand ))
Well, for being the escort-slash-guardian, Cherish was doing a pretty bad job. Shakeem had the right idea in mind by looting the unconscious baddie, and maybe they could get some information out of him when he woke up.
There was that blue card key over on the ground over there, but somebody else would likely pick it up. Cherish was more interested in the nearby door.
"Shoot, now we've got another objective on our hands...! We have to find her before they somehow make her talk...!"
If nothing else, they still had the element of surprise. But Shakeem was right, little-miss-loudmouth had a tendency to say more than was necessary (and do much much more than was necessary), even when unprovoked. Hopefully she proved to be more loyal than she let off, though.
Not knowing what was around the corner didn't stop Shakeem from advancing, but at least she could trust him enough not to blitz three armed men like a... what was it? A drunk-rhino, that's right. He'd fall back if there were anything too dangerous up ahead, so she didn't need to worry about losing another member of their little gang.
Cherish approached the nearby door and slowly opened it to peak inside. If anyone was in there, they'd have likely heard the commotion out here, so it was best to cover the room before walking past it, lest they get blindsided as they advance.
Shakeem rushing down the hallway was preoccupied with the guard, not taking note of the area around him. Near to the knocked out guard's body, he finds a <Blue Keycard>, with the inscription: ［Ｎ１］Ｃｌｅａｒａｎｃｅ
Attempting to take the gun however, proves troublesome. Shakeem, not trained with heavy weaponry, fumbles the weapon. It misfires, a single shot outwards, the gun sliding away, beyond the unknown.
Accessing the PET panel, Xenneth finds the following options for Megami to access:
>First Aid >Virus Busting >Mystery Data
Cherish finds herself entering a dark, poorly lit room, with the exception of the back end of the Panel. A keycard slot is visible. Taking note of the greater surroundings of the room, she finds that this is a janitorial closet, with a boiler and a mop the only remnants (heh) of the area pre-corruption. Nothing else of particular notice is within the room, with the exception of a second door, leading outward.
Tenma's daughter begins to feel woozy. This adventure was a lot to handle, and her heart was having difficulty taking it. A dizzy spell overcoming her, she lurches forward.
Jameson feels the softness of flesh and cotton as Ms. Tenma grabs him at the hips, barely keeping herself upright.
Sara is thrown into a dark room. One of her captors leaves, and the other remains to talk to her. She gets a slap to the face.

Meanwhile away from all the violence that was happening a young man was finally starting to appear on the scene. Although he didn't exactly want to be there. On a train going through the country side Hado was running his hands through his dark red hair annoyed and frustrated."Can this train go any slower?" Hado grumbled as he grabbed his PET out of his jacket pocket. Hado turned it on again, hoping that Rainman would appear so he would be able to get off this train and go home, unfortunately for Hado Rainman still hadn't returned and he was forced to stay on the train for now. Hado sighed and put his PET back into his jacket, where exactly had Rainman gone? This wasn't like him to leave so suddenly, so what was all the commotion about? More importantly, Hado was outside when he should have been at home taking a shower after spending his whole day carrying boxes up stairs and then unpacking all of them."What's so special about Koto anyways?" Hado asked himself as he put his head on his shoulders, "Honestly..."
Hado was knocked out of his seat and onto the floor as the train came to a sudden halt. Hado looked up and observed the people around him, Business men and women around him were all knocked to the ground by the sudden stop. As Hado was just getting up the person monitoring the train came rushing in, "Is everyone alright?" The man asked looking around the cabin. Everyone singled that they were okay, which was a relief to the man.
"I'm sorry everyone but we have encountered technical problems with train, I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask all of you to step out of the train." The man was then meet with the groaning and shouting of angry passengers.
"You can't be serious I have a meeting right now!"
"My child is at home alone!"
"The battle chip shop is going to close soon!"
Hado slowly started to make his way through the crowd of increasingly angry people to make it to the entrance of the train. Hado was about to make it through when his hand accidentally grazed a womens backside. "Ah geez" Hado thought to himself. The women turned around almost instantly.
"Did you just try to touch me you pervert?!" The women yelled out. Hado quickly put his hands up and gestured to the entrance.
"Lady I was just heading to the entrance-"
"That's what they all say!" The women then brought out her hand and then went to slap Hado. Hado instinctively ducked, making the slap hit another women. Slap!
The women who was just slapped brought up her hand to her cheek, it was red as a cherry. The newly slapped women then pushed the other women down to the floor. Chaos then erupted around the train. Hado saw this as a chance to leave and procceded to exit the train.
Hado was even more tired then he was before. He had ended up walking about two miles in some random small town that he didn't even know the name of and then had to wait at a empty bus stop for about a hour until a bus came. The bus rolled into the stop and the driver opened the door.
"This bus heads to Kotobuki." The man explained, "You getting on? It would normal be 100z but seeing as how you look so tired I'll let you get on for free." The man said gesturing for Hado to enter. Hado thanked the man and then got in and sat down. He was the only on the bus, perfect. Finally some peace and quiet.
"Hey mister? What's so special about Kotobuki?"
"Oh that!" The man said pinching his mustache,"That's where Lan and MegaMan saved the world from Gospel centuries ago! You can still see and feel the effects of it today! Interesting place that is, not too fun to say in for long periods of time though."

'Well, that could've gone better...!' Shakeem pondered to himself as the gun pretty much ran away from him.
Glancing down the corridor and then back to the downed hostile,he decided to regroup with the others, noticing that Cherish had gone somewhere for a bit and the girl who was Xenneth's 'girlfriend' appeared to not be doing so well...
"Hey,I found a keycard of some sort...looks like it might be for this floor or something." Shakeem said, pocketing the blue keycard. "Annd...she doesn't look so good...what happened-?"
Not that they probably had that much time available for them to converse like this...it was probably only a matter of time before someone noticed a gun running down the hall...

" ! "
Feint slid back out of the closet and cleared the corner nearly simultaneously, but she noticed the commotion was only Shakeem's clumsiness -- not an actual emergency.
She gave him 'the look' as he regrouped with the others. He'd just lost his independent-decision-making privileges again as far as she was concerned.
"Hey, I found a keycard of some sort...looks like it might be for this floor or something. Annd...she doesn't look so good...what happened-?"
"Try the panel in the closet. Take everybody else in there with you so that we'll at least be in a better position if the other two masked men come back too soon."
Advancement. Constant progress. It was a vital factor in the art of infiltration. If you weren't in the enemy's sights, you'd better be moving forward. And as soon as she could confirm that the way ahead was clear, they'd move on to the next checkpoint as well. If the others weren't done with their dilly-dallying around, they'd miss their brief opportunity to do whatever it was they were doing before Cherish dragged them along with her.
Cherish stood at the edge of the corner, looking down the side of the wall to the rest of the large open room that the gun had escaped down. Shakeem was lucky not to be hit by the stray bullet -- heck, she was lucky not to get hit by any bullet flying through the wall!
' A gun misfires, and suddenly the girl back there "doesn't look so good". '
Well she'd find out momentarily if the two dots were connected, but just like before, she had to weigh the situation carefully and choose a direction quickly. There was a door nearby; enemy personnel very likely heard the gun shot, so wasn't it wise to move into another space as quickly as possible, before being detected?
But what if more information was to be found here? The Keycard Shakeem found was certainly important, but if it wasn't vital in moving them forward, then was it really something to be concerned with? They had to remember why they had come here; distractions would only slow them down.
Sapphire eyes scanned the room ahead as far as they could see.
It was a delicate balance between careful progression and swift advancement. Too slow and the enemy would detect them before they were able to move forward, forcing retreat. Too reckless and they'd end up in a poor position, very likely finding themselves captured or even worse.
She kept track of every bit of information she could collect about the mysterious organization (or so she assumed it to be) behind this ordeal (and, allegedly, the scene at Millions Street). The more she knew, the more efficiently she could perform. But for now, progression needed to be as careful as possible.
They'd just gotten their foot in the door and nearly had their toes chopped off. She had to assume that there was a trap around every corner and act as if she had already tripped one.

"This suddenly seems like a bad idea..."
Xenneth thought as he begun to type on the desktop. His face was a cross between irritated and somewhat nervous as he typed away at the desktop. Fingers dropping the cursor arrow as he plugged in his P.E.T. "Jack in, Megami! Power up!" his voice a low whisper compared to the sound of the gunfire, misfires, and chaos making him flinch and look around the corner every moment.
He was relieved.
"At least no one I don't know will come up and grab me from behind. Hee-hee!~" A nervous chuckle escaping his lips. However, he was frightened to death.
The violet haired boy had nodded seeing Megami's image appear on the screen. She bowed, looked up, and smiled warmly. "What shall I do for you, Xen-kun?" The violet haired boy tilted his head slightly in dismay. He was not sure if he could access data and analyze it with Megami like most skilled intellectual Net Operators and NetNavis. After all, Megami barely even knew how to bring up a browser.
"W-well...access the Mystery Data in the computer Megami-chan. Maybe it has something we can use...like a map." Megami understood, nodding, and her head stretched out as she brought up the display of the Net Area. She had commanded the computer to bring the mystery data to her reach as her delicate fingers reached out. With a single touch, she executed a single command.
