K-414 skulked through the remains of the netcity, his eyes flickering to and fro as he walked. The wolf was on the tail of...something. He didn't know exactly what it was, but the stench of virii was high around it. The navi's offensive program was starting to take control as he loped through the wreckage of the city, wondering what had happened here...and why it hadn't been repaired.
He paused outside of a mostly-intact home, sensing something from within the house. However, as he pushed open the door, it was only a small virus that emerged, which looked scared for about the half-second it had before K-414 slashed it to ribbons. "That couldn't have been my target..." the Navi growled as it looked around, trying to spot....something.
He wasn't alone out here; he knew that much. But wherever his target was hiding...they were doing a darn fine job of it.45

"Are you a lost puppy...?" A voice echoes from nearby K-414, stepping out from the shadows of a building, gazing intently at the wolf-like Navi with his crimson eyes. "No offense meant, but it seems like you're not finding what you desire, only small virii." Void follows up simply, merely stating an observation he makes. This Navi was... something else, to say the least. Brutal attacker, that at the least was certain. The swordsman raises an eyebrow as he glances over at the other Navi. He had to wonder, was this one of those hunters? Blades of the government, striking down at the unregistered? Void almost wanted to snort in derision. Wasn't that he could hate such Navis, necessarily, but rather found the whole situation sad. Shaking his head, he returns his attention back to K-414.
"You should head backwards." Void states. "There isn't much here." He was slightly surprised by his own talkative nature nowadays, but he had come to accept it. Just like he had his past. It was the cause for the new persona Void had, though he wasn't sure if he was glad or not.

Turn 1:
K-414 growled low under his breath as he heard the voice. This creature...this thing that appeared to be a Navi...just from the way it moved, the wolf could tell it was elusive. It would be hard for him to catch and cut down to ribbons, but by that same token, it was also likely this is what he'd been tracking. He took a step forward towards Void, extending the claws on his left hand. "I think I've just found what I desire..." he spoke, a dark grin lighting up his face.
It wasn't that K-414 was an evil creature, and that he delighted in the destruction of other things. It was more that he had been given a mission...and he pursued that mission with all the strength and fervor that he could generate. The elimination of all virii and all unregistered Navi. Those without registration had the potential to become dangerous, like those in time's past. And he had been charged, by his Operator, with the task of deleting everything that fell within those confines...just like this one in front of him.
"Let's see how you handle this!" K-414 roared, lifting his right hand and releasing a burst of energy from it before he darted forward, attempting to move within this Navi's guard before it had a chance to put one up, swinging his left arm around in what appeared to be a powerful strike...but K-414 knew it was just a feint. If it was dodged, the right arm was ready to take down this man with his devastating follow-up. He was ready...now what would this Unregistered do..?45

"Is that so...?" Void questions softly at the Navi's words, already drawing his swords. He should have figured that the Navi wouldn't back away with mere words. Considering the aggression shown, it was bound to be a fight for Void. He couldn't help but feel a rush of adrenaline. This would be good practice he figured, in any case. He just waited for the other Navi to make the first move... Which wasn't long, actually. Void sidestepped the energy burst, twisting his body to the side, taking a glance as the wolf Navi attempted to dart within his range. Well, it was time to press his own offensive.
He brings one of his swords to block at the left arm, resulting in sparks, while sending a blade from over his shoulder forth to tear at the right arm. If the Navi thought this was going to be easy, he had another thing coming. It would make this easier if he managed to incapacitate both arms, he mused, as he twisted his body, bringing a sword to slash across K-414's chest, shifting into a backwards jump as easily as he had made the attack. "Offense isn't always the best defense...." comments the swordsman idly, as he stabs one of his swords into the ground. From the origin of the stab, a circle of shadows appears, pooling, before spires of shadow arise, tearing and ravaging all in its path as they narrowed down on the wolf Navi.
Taking a step back, an array of blades came upon Void's beckoning, glinting in the hint of sunlight to strike at them. Void waited, watching for his opponent as he shifts into a stance, the blades hovering like sentient guardians.

Turn 2:
K-414 figured the Navi would dodge the burst of energy; it wasn't exactly his most frightening move. However, it did cause the man to shift off-balance for almost long enough for one of the wolf's attacks to land. Almost. The feint was parried easily by one of the man's swords, though before he had enough time to come through with the follow-up, a blade ripped through his shoulder, stopping the attack before it even started. K-414 didn't balk though, and even welcomed the pain from it and the slice across his chest, not even bothering to block it.
"You've yet to see the best offense!" K-414 roared as he leapt forward, ignoring the pain in his chest and arm as his body's data began to replicate itself, fixing the shoulder wound and partially repairing the wound on his chest. As he moved closer to his target, two clones moved forth from his body, joining into the assault along with him. One of the two leapt directly into the burst of shadows, sacrificing itself in order to allow K-414 to survive the attack unscathed. He and his surviving clone leapt forward, ready to place a bit of a hurting on this new target.
He lashed out with a decisively quick strike, the attack certainly too quick to be dodged by a normal Navi, before following it with another, powerful strike that he'd put to good use many a time, rending apart a virii's shield before slashing directly into them. Just then, his own Clone darted into the melee, attacking swiftly and easily with a basic, powerful slashing motion with its claws before K-414 lashed out with both of his own claws, before ripping outward in a well-practiced motion.
Few had ever survived the onslaught of the wolfen Navi, and he wasn't about to start letting this one get away from him, either. He made sure that all of his strikes were lined up properly in order to get the maximum effect. Then again, as much of an offensive fighter K-414 was, he could tell, as he had from the first glance, that this one was an elusive fighter, and would be quite difficult to pin down and finally put down.
But he wasn't apprehensive about it in the least, but he was not overconfident. He'd meet this one on, head-on, with each and every strike the two exchanged.

Void couldn't deny it, in any case; the Navi he was facing had tenacity, he had to give him that. He merely shrugged off the pain that had been dealt to him. But this wasn't a moment to be admiring his foe, he had to pay attention in this fight. He noticed that the wolf had regenerative capabilities. That made this fight a bit harder. A slight frown appeared on Void's face, before disappearing into a mask of neutrality. It seemed like he was also a cloner, though Void couldn't say he was honestly surprised at that. Void takes the initial punch, wincing at the slight bit of contact, before using the momentum from the punch to propel himself out of the way of the follow-through, ignoring the slight bit of pain coming from the blow. One of the blades he had summoned clashed with the clone, halting its offensive charge, as Void locks eyes with K-414. As if he would stand down. Void seemingly rushes into the final attack, appearing to be prepared to take it. A split second later however, his speed increases, weaving past the wolf Navi with his blades at the ready. His opponent may be strong, but strength was useless if one could not connect entirely with the target.
Void slashes at K-414 with his blades, the weapons singing as they slice the air on their way towards the target. Not one to stop his charge just yet, Void kicks back, tossing his blades into the air. The sensation from his chest had faded to a dull, numbed sting. Shadows envelop his arms, covering them entirely. The shadows take shape, changing into slim wrist blades as Void presses forward once again, unleashing a flurry of slashes, unrelenting, attempting to bring down his foes attempt to injure him.
Taking a leap back, the wrist blades fading away, Void catches his weapons, as a section of the blades he had summoned break off, and attempt to skewer K-414 and his copy, angled attacks aimed to catch the targets offguard, as shadows spiral around the blade of one of Void's swords. A second later, he adds onto the assault, slashing across the air with the sword, unleashing a wave of shadows to engulf the wolf and his pack. Void couldn't help but feel the sensation of excitement as they stepped further into this clash; a pulsing feeling coming from within that only furthered his drive to fight with this unknown hunter. It was a thrill of battle, partially, that had Void participate in this match up. For what is a swordsman without battle? What is a blade without use? Broken, unused, dull. Adjectives that Void had no affection for. He could not deny that battle was much of part of him, even though it did not entirely consume him, it had, at one point, in the past. This was acting, also as an assurance; that Void get step back once more into the rhythm of battle, without losing himself.

Turn 3:
K-414 found that his opponent was more annoyingly difficult to hit than he’d previously imagined. It seemed as if the man’s entire existence seemed to depend on him not getting hit, which was, understandably, a valid strategy. However, K-414 had no patience to waste on such things, as he didn’t feel truly alive unless he was up in the opponent’s face, slashing and clawing with every thing he had in order to put the other down. It wasn’t that he didn’t see the concept, and how it worked…it just wasn’t his strategy, or his style, which was clearly emphasized as he charged forward after the man once he’d taken the first hit as a way to avoid the others. Clever, but it only delayed the inevitable, as far as K-414 was concerned.
However, as the man darted forward towards him, the wolf Navi growled low under his breath, taking a powerful swipe as Void drew close to him. The two swords slashed quite quickly through the air towards him, and though he managed to avoid one of the blades, the other nicked him on the shoulder, causing his attack to lose a good bit of his power, despite the fact that it hadn’t really done a whole lot of damage anyway. The wolf growled as he took another swipe at the man, however, he’d already moved backward, out of range of his strikes before launching back in, releasing a flurry of attacks with those small, knife-like blades from either side of his hand. He wasn’t overly fond of the attack, but it wasn’t one that he was going to shy away from either.
The wolf took most of the strikes, but kept them to parts of his body that were fairly unimportant, in the grand scheme of things. Nicks here and there covered his body, most of which regenerated near instantly, but the fact of the matter was that the attack itself had hit, which was only irritating the wolven Navi further. As the burst of shadows approached, K-414 simply took the attack, not opposed to taking damage in the pursuit of his goal. With his clone annihilated, that just left the two of them to fight, once more, one-on-one, just how a good old-fashioned brawl should be.
Growling, the wolf shrugged off the pain, setting it to the backside of his mind as he gave a wolfish grin at his adversary. ”You’re not as weak as you look, Unregistered,” K-414 spoke before he darted forward again, diving right into the other’s attack zone with absolutely no hesitation. His claws sang of pain and death as they tore at the other. His attacks seemed wild and berserk to an outside, untrained eye, but each was built to build off of the last. K-414 was done toying with his opponent as his attacks came fast and furious, trying to finally put a scratch on this one who had given him so much trouble already just to hit.

Void raised an eyebrow, somewhat impressed. Despite his ferocity, K-414 took care to at least shift the damage to areas which would be easiest to heal, or ones that had little to do with his battle. Not a bad strategy to go with, if you care little for evading. Seeing that the clone had been dissipated by the wave of shadows, both itself and its originator taking the attack, Void was glad to see that it was down to a merely himself and the wolf. Truly, the wolf's determination in trying to tear him asunder were, while not exactly appreciated, Void couldn't say that he loathed someone which such a drive. If only he didn't have to face such viciousness, then Void would be more relaxed. Hearing his opponent's compliment, he supposed, he couldn't help giving a small laugh. So he was right about this one being a hunter for the government. Well, no matter. That only fueled his reason for fighting. "And you are every bit as ferocious as he look, wolf." Void retorted. A smile tugged at his lips, before Void regained control. It seemed like his opponent wanted to have a flat-out brawl. Well, he would certainly have to oblige as much as he could... Though he could tell that his avoidance was serving as a source of irritation, something he could not stop for the amusement.
He charged forward as well, blades at the ready, clashing with claws with swords, matching the wolf's ferocity in battle. Cuts began to appear on Void, but limited, and superficial. He was matching the wolf for blows, until suddenly ducking out of the way, rolling to the side as more of his summoned swords were shot forward, focused on piercing K-414. Coming out of his roll, Void bounced upwards, twisting as one of his swords gleamed for but a moment. Landing on the ground, Void stabbed into the floor, causing a large blade to erupt beneath K-414 and attempt to tear into the Navi. Quickly spinning, Void held a grin on his face as blood trickled down an arm, reminiscent of a river of red. Void couldn't help but feel excitement in this match, with an opponent who clearly had combat experience and some skill. This fight was not only determining Void's fate, but also sharpening his skills; a blade that is blunt could not hope to cut anything, afterall, no matter the reason for which it was wielded for.
Rushing back into the fight, Void neared the wolf, and began shifting on the heels of his feet, continually moving and turning, slashing at his foe within a confined circle of swift and precise strikes, aimed to wear down the wolf with a multitude of furious slashes. He might have held no true grudge against K-414, but he would hardly go down easily and without a fight. Kicking back after a full circle, still shifting his position in order to not be caught in a single place, seven blades appeared at Void's back, before two broke off from the group and jettisoned towards the wolf, Void not quite letting up on his onslaught of strike just yet.

”Vicious..? You haven’t even begun to see vicious,” K-414 responded with another eager, wolfish grin. Despite the fact that this fellow was…definitely the one that he’d hunted, there was a strange sense of camaraderie he felt. This fellow wasn’t exactly the evil, uncaring rogue of a bastard that he thought he was. The shadowy fighter’s style was swift and assured, using precise strikes that would pose the greatest amount of damage to the wolf’s body. K-414, on the other hand, was little more than a skilled brawler, using tactics and strikes that would render lesser fighters incapacitated by now. However, Void seemed to be able to move at just the right time, letting the strikes skim over him or just past him, the wounds that were being inflicted mostly superficial, save a few swift strikes that he managed to get away with.
The fight was a fairly brutal one, and almost painfully simple. The two were merely locked in a combat, circling around one another as both blades and claws flew, blocking and parrying one another’s attacks before the strikes would begin to finally seep through the guard. But every hit that the other took only intensified their guard. Every strike that slipped past and struck only caused the one who had taken the damage to tighten their guard against future attacks. But then the fury would explode anew, the two striking at one another with the ferocity of a pack of hellhounds, neither one really gaining the upper hand in the fight.
Suddenly, K-414 saw an opening and let loose with a powerful, overhand claw that threatened to put the smaller Navi down for the count. However, just as the blow came close, the other ducked and rolled out of the way. Several of the swords that spiraled around the man shot forward towards the werewolf, but he merely batted them aside, now used to the attack, and getting better at predicting how and when it would come. However, soon after that, he saw Void stab a blade into the ground, which caused a rather large rumbling at his feet, before a large blade tore upward, threatening to split the wolf navi in half. K-414 managed to evade at least the brunt of the attack, though it caught him along the side.
However, he didn’t have time to take for his wound as the other charged back in. K-414 let loose with a flurry of vicious attacks, not really caring about his own defense anymore, letting the regeneration handle all of that, as far as he was concerned. There was no reason for him to attempt defense against a fighter faster than himself. He’d merely take the glancing blows and use them as a way to setup for another attack, striking deep into the enemy’s defenses. It was a brutally effective strategy…and K-414 loved it. It was the only way to fight, as far as he was concerned, and as long as he still breathed, he wouldn’t ever take the chance on fighting another way.
”COME ON!” he roared again as he evaded another strike by the swordsman, lashing out with a thrusting stab with his claws.

[Turn 4 for the record~]
Void continued his dance, as his opponent renewed a vicious assault, the swordsman feeling a tug pulling at the corner of his lips, threatening to curve upwards and fully express his enjoyment with this fight. Despite the rather unrefined style of his foe, he couldn't deny that it was effective, and brutally so; it seemed like K-414 was beginning to get used to the blades as well. It might have been a simple way of fighting, but it was one that worked out rather well for the wolf Navi it seemed. If Void was any bit slower, this battle would be going a very different way; one that would be immensely bad news for him. However fast Void was, though, it would mean little if the attacks he made were not enough to overcome the natural regeneration the wolf had. "But of course..." he replies simply to the wolf's bellow, obliging the fighter with his own strength, turning his body to the side and he continued his push forward. And the swordsman begins to lose himself within the fight, immersed with the sound of blades clashing with claws, of a tempo he feels with his body, to a tune that was inaudible to all but himself. It was a strange madness he found himself in sometimes, so focused on battle that little else came into concern. It was not one that stripped him of all sense, but rather narrowed his abilities to a single goal. He feels that gripping sense, as Eternity swung from low, positioned to slash diagonally across K-414. Not missing a beat, he swiftly follows up with a horizontal cut from Endless, the attacks flowing seamlessly together, as if it were a single strike rather than multiple ones, his swords trailing through the air, forming glints of arcs that appear for but a moment.
And the strikes came more ferociously, even as more attacks began to connect with Void; not enough to hinder him, but enough that he could feel the stings of pain littering his body, his weary condition almost protesting before he threw away such thoughts, focusing entirely on the battle. Well, if the wolf was getting used to his blade assaults... Void kicks back, shooting forth another blade, before sweeping low, and slashing with his black katana once more, as a summoned sword runs a parallel cut in the same area across his foe's chest. He explodes from the ground, flipping into the air with swords at the ready, turning into a quasi-buzzsaw, spinning through the air as more summoned blades accompanied the slashes, his body curled and turning. Landing back on the ground, behind K-414, Void turns quickly around, his feet digging into the ground, and made a single upwards slash with Eternity, the black sword giving off a glare as light hit its blade, with a spike of formed from shadows junctioned to the strike, not quite letting up on the offensive just yet. This was no time to be resting, to pause in his attacks and slow down. Void almost wanted to laugh. It was hilarious that they could find such sentiments, despite being on opposite side. Despite the fact that what actions they took outside of this wanted against what they felt to be the thing to do. One, a 'dog' of the government. The other, a vagrant defying said government. Two sides of the same coin. Because in the end, that is what it boils down to. What the individual viewed to be right. But in this battle, all that... seemed to slip away, leaving only two kindred souls engulfed in combat.
Blood ran down his arms like water would as though it were raining, and he could feel that by the end of this all, he would be satisfied, even if completely exhausted.http

Turn 5 (might make this the last, XD):
The battle raged, and within each of the fighters grew a strange love of the fight that was occurring, and respect for the other opponent. There was no end to the level of ferocity and skill that the two were showing as the battle continued, neither one of them seeming to overcome the other. The wolf’s ferocious and unrelenting style was met evenly by Void’s skillful use of the weapons he commanded, and only a number of superficial wounds were landed upon the other during each encounter. The fight between the two was quite…intense, as neither needed breath, and wounds meant virtually nothing to them, so they continued to fight in the close quarters for nearly a minute, before Void darted backward, away from the combat.
To look at the two, it would seem that Void was winning the fight, as the wolf appeared to be covered in far more blood, and had a greater number of wounds. However, even in the brief moment that the other fighter retreated, several of the wounds on the wolf began to heal up, the superficial cuts taking minimal effort to recover from as his body replicated the data that made up his being. The wolf took a few loping steps forward, not really enjoying having the battle they were having being interrupted so. He enjoyed the thrill of the fight, the bloodlust that filled him when the two were locked in a fight to the death. Though he was beginning to wonder if he had the heart to put this one down. There was now a strange, grudging respect he felt for him.
As K-414 approached void, the burst of energy from Void made itself known as another blade shot by his head, which he managed to dodge, but was caught by the second blade, not having noticed it soon enough as it sliced him across the chest. He took a step backwards, growling as he placed an arm over his chest, and he looked upwards at Void. Frowning, he saw the man beginning to spin, and several other blades beginning to appear along with the other fighter. That did not look particularly entertaining to endure, and the wolf made ready to dodge.
As the attack drew close, K-414 moved to the side, though that didn’t exactly block all of the attack as he was caught with several slashes along his side, stumbling away from the brunt of the strike, and was taken almost completely by surprise as the black spike erupted from the ground, digging directly into him, sending him airborne for a moment, no less. However, the wolf’s eyes narrowed as he felt his entire body weightless for a moment. He wasn’t down yet. He wasn’t done. A strange new fire burned in those synthetic optical orbs of his, and he tucked his body in and rotated backwards, landing back on his feet before he rushed in, his body ready for more.
He was weakened, sure, but that attack likely took a bit out of Void as well, which left him open to the wolf’s assault. His claws shining, he let loose with a volley of painful-looking slash attacks, each one designed to rip right through its target. He wanted his opponent to fear the attacks that were raining down, to understand that K-414 was not a fighter that was going to stop before the end was decided. As long as there was some fight left in one, or both of them, the fight would continue.
The wolf’s first attack came with one of his patented feints, following with one of his more powerful strikes, but one that was definitely quicker, and far harder to dodge. His third strike was probably something that he should have avoided, but he couldn’t help it, now. The end of the fight was near and he was either going to end it or be ended as he released one of his most powerful strikes. It wasn’t the most strategic of maneuvers as the strike often left him slightly open to his opponent, but if it connected, it was one of the attacks that normally ended his fights. It was…a definite gamble, but he couldn’t help it. He hadn’t gotten a fight this good in a long time, and he wanted to go all out.

Void sighed as he looked up, feeling a bit weary after his assault. The strikes may have connected, but they cost Void a bit of his own energy. That escaped his mind, however. as he summoned more blades to the defensive, not entirely trusting himself to be able to avoid or defend against everything that he was sure to be thrown at him completely. However, he proved to be a bit slower than he thought. On the wolf's descent, the surprising barrage of claws caught Void off guard, the Navi resisting the urge to wince as quite a number of the attacks made connection with their mark, though he took less damage than he normally would have if not for the blades he had called forth. Inspite of it all, Void couldn't help but feel a sense of respect for the other Navi. He could appreciate the effective, albeit brutal, manner of his fighting style. But just as K-414 was showing his determination, Void would just as much match that tenacity with his own. He would hardly go down without fighting just as hard as his foe, if not more so. And he could feel that the taint within agreed eagerly, though Void was not sure whether that was a good sign or not.
Blocking against the first attack, Void is caught by the follow up, wincing at the blow. But just as near the beginning of their fight, the swordsman used that instead to his advantage. With the distance gained from the blow, he allowed gravity its natural course in pulling his body down, before rolling backwards, having the momentum of the blow carry him, as swords hovered before him to guard against the final assault. And not a moment too soon, Void couldn't help but think in relief, as he springs back up, the blades he had summon shattering underneath the force of the strike they had blocked. He was sure that attack would have rendered him damaged, to an extent that he was not sure he would have been able to come out of in time. But in either case... Void was getting tired. Exhaustion might have been taken into account if not for the adrenaline he felt in this battle, the quickened pulse keeping his movements quick and his reactions alive. It was a burning sensation in his chest, one akin to a comfortable sensation, that fueled his strikes, and kept his consciousness afloat.
But, as sad as it was to say, all things had to come to an end. And this battle would eventually have to do so as well. Void, mirroring his opponent's just demonstrated determination, mirrored such a will as he began to start his assault once more. He started to slash furiously, each strike followed by another in a seamlessly dance, with swift transition, almost with ease that seemed natural, as summoned swords aided the assault. Blood rain down his arms, pain stinging his body until numbing away, but he still did not stop his movement, senselessly swaying to a beat that only he could hear. A tune of metal clashing with claws, that served to enhance his fervor in this battle, to continue onwards until a result was reached.
Seven glowing swords surrounded K-414, before stabbing downwards, forming a circle around the Navi, as Void disappeared from view. Cuts began to liter the ground, as the swordsman began to move at speeds hard to catch, pushing his legs to the furthest they would go, aiming each sword strike at the wolf, before appearing before the Navi, and slashing downwards with both swords, touching upon the formed circle, causing a shadow of each blade to shoot from each sword and attempt to skewer the fighter.

<K-man said you two were done, soo..> *A bright light burst forth not far above the two combatants. It spiraled and swayed, seeming to twist the fabric of reality with its purity. Almost as soon as the light swirled into existence the two navis motor skills were locked, almost as if being frozen in time. At the epicenter of the light vortex a petite figure, no larger than ones own head twirled into being, faded at first but soon appeared appeared completely corporeal.*
*Two almost transparent butterfly wings spread themselves as wide as they could while the small fairy creature stretched; like she had just gotten up from a nap. Although no definite details about the fairy could be discerned under the piercing light, one could tell she donned the typical fairy garb: A one piece skirt that dipped to just under the waist.*
In a voice befitting something of that size the fairy shouted: "You two, who brave the unknown, who stained the ground with your data, and dueled to what would have surely been your last breath. I am here to tell you it is neither of your times to depart. Your true callings elude you, and I can assure you this is not it.
*She floats gently up and down and points one finger towards Void.*
"You, you fight with great dexterity, elegance, a finesse most strive their entire lifetimes to attain. You are calm and calculative, yet distance and cold. You claim to be neutral, yet your actions should speak volumes on where you actually stand.
*The hand trails off back to the fairy's side while the other rises and points at the beast-like navi, K-414.*
"...and you, savage, brutal, crude yet efficient technique. Your loyalty will lead you many places, and down a path you may regret later as you learn more about that which you so vigilantly hunt.
*She chuckles slightly, her mouth covered by the hand she used to point at Void. She raises the other hand straight up, it began to glow brightly as the two still locked navis began to pulsate a dim light that encircled each of them.*
"I fear if I let you two go, you'll resume your fighting. I've decided to teleport one of you far away...
*She thinks to herself for a moment, one finger touching her lip as she pretends to sit in a chair while in the air.*
"I've chosen to teleport Void. *she chuckles* Where you'll end up not even I know, or do I? hehe!
*She snapped her fingers, and the pulsating around Void occurred more rapidly and the ring more filled with every shockwave. Adversely the ring around K-414 began to pulse slower and become more faded with each passing second.
