Combatants: Merrill VS Warrior
Battle Type: Single Judge
Story-Version Advantage: Not active
Time: 5 rounds per navi. (Not including Intro posts
Judge: Ecks (THANKS! ^_^)
Merrill stood on an open grassy field. The field was twice as long and twice as wide as a football field. at the parameter, there started trees in every direction. It was overcaset, with a good chance for rain. Merrill kept his blades at his sides, as he waited for his buddy Warrior. Healer was on Merrill's sholder, her blue-green fire illuminating the surrounding area a bit.
[glow=33CC88,2,300]"I wonder when he will be here. I am more interested in seeing how he has grown."[/glow] Merrill said with a smile.

Out in the distance, a thunder storm could be seen brewing up. . . It got closer to the field slowly, and the closer it got, the more severe it seemed. Any worse and it could be a possible tornado. The storm, however, was still a few miles out, and wouldn't reach the field for a little while. . .
From the trees, on the side that the storm was coming from, Warrior came walking into the field, calm as ever, to meet Merrill. As he neared the center of the field, he felt a breeze and looked back at the storm. . .
"Well. . . A mixture of Elements. . . This'll be interesting"
As Warrior approached Merrill, he noticed Healer on his shoulder. . . Let's hope that little ball of fire doesn't fall in the grass, or they'll have a real clash of elemental chaos on their hands. When Warrior was about 3 yds from his old friend, he stopped and greeted him. Wouldn't want to be rude, right?
"Heh, how's it hangin' man? . . . It's been a while. Let's hope we'll actually finish this fight. . ."
Warrior thought back to their last fight. . . They had been so equally matched, that they had to call it a draw. In his heart, though, he knew Merrill would probably have won if they had continued. Won't let that happen this time though; Warrior knew he was stronger than before, and could only hope Merrill was too.

Merrill Smiled. He bowed, and the left MZKeyZoth dissapeared. Merrill shook Warriors hand as he spoke. He rememered the previous fight, and how they had to stop. He was itching to test his ally again in battle, and he hoped that they both had grown stronger.
[glow=33CC88,2,300]"Indeed dear friend. A mixture of elements... Both to aid us, and hinder us. I wonder how it will turn out eh?"[/glow] he said with a wink.
Looking at the blacked sky, he redrew the MZKeyZoth, nodding towards Warrior.
[glow=33CC88,2,300]"Thanks have been, interesting since we last faught. I have been training, and I know you have, So I wonder how this will play out. I still believe my past, will return to hunt after me. However, I will avenge my fallen and my love! How be you mah Friend?" [/glow]
(You can start the fight if you want. Otherwise, your next post can be the last intro post, and i'll start the fight on my next post. GOOD LUCK, AND LETS BRAWL BATTLE! XD)

"Heh, everything's been going normal. . . Haven't fought in a while though, let's hope I still got some in me. . ."
At that, Warrior drew his sword. He seemed to be expecting something. . .
" Let's get this started. . ."
Warrior smirked and took a few steps back. He could feel energy gathering up where he was standing. . . Just after stepping back, a lightning bolt struck where he just was, missing him just barely, and blinding Healer and Merrill. Warrior's visors absorbed the light, which kept him from being blinded as well.
While those two were still waiting for the vision to come back, Warrior charged up energy with the scar in the palm of his left hand. This was a new trick he learned since their last encounter. When Merrill's vision returned, Warrior had already dashed to the other side of him, making it seem as if he had disappeared. The lightning strike from just seconds earlier seemed to be starting a small fire in the grassy field. Luckily, it had just started raining, which helped douse some of the flames, not to mention Healer's light.
From behind his foe, Warrior slashed at Merrill's back, strong enough to knock him up into the air in the direction of the attack. Before Merrill began his decent, another bolt of lightning came down where Warrior was standing. He seemed to expect it somehow, and blocked it with his blade in such a manner to redirect it to Merrill. As soon as the bolt hit Merrill, Warrior had already jumped up next to him, ready to deal his next attack.
" Gunna have to move a little faster than this, bud."
After taunting, Warrior dealt a strong, downward, meteor slash to Merrill, sending him back into the ground below. Warrior kept charging energy in the scar of his left hand, and gently fell back to the ground. Before landing, he looked down to see how his old friend had handled those blows. . .

TURN 1 OF 5
Merrill grinned. He was glad Warrior was doing well. When Warrior disappeared, Merrill blinked, the lightning not fully blinding him, but leaving him dazed. Healer, however, was left blinded and ended up sitting on the grass, rubbing her eyes. As Warrior slashed Merrill's back, he felt pain around his wings. He did manage to block the lighting bolt with his own swords, The MZKeyZoth's, sending it back into the sky. As he did so, Warrior meteor struck him into the ground. Zerah’s Kunai reacted to the meteor blow, sending itself aimed directly at Warriors heart. After a minute, Merrill stood, coughing, and holding his shoulder, before he spoke.
[glow=33CC88,2,300]"Haha! Your speed never ceases to amaze me. However, It will take FASTER and HARDER blows to take me down!”[/glow] Merrill said, grinning as his body being encased in a flash of white light. When the flash ended, Merrill’s wounds to his shoulder and back we almost healed, just a small trail of blood and scar tissue remained.
The rain started pouring onto the battlefield. Merrill’s left MZKeyZoth floated above his hand, and he too, started storing energy. His crystal on his forehead glowed bright, and his swords started glowing. Then, Merrill disappeared and reappeared in front of Warrior. He slashed with his right hand, blade aiming for warriors sword arm. The left MZKeyZoth slashed at Warrior’s neck. Merrill attempted blow after blow, alternating in succession with the floating, unheld blade. Finally, after several strikes, he jumped back, Healer appearing where Merrill was moments before, and she attempted to smash a fireball into Warriors face. Merrill stood, letting the pouring rain run down his body, creating like an image surrounding himself from the storm. Healer returned to his side, waiting for Warrior’s next move.

"Heh, this is just the beginning. . ."
The kunai hit its target dead-on, but Warrior's armor succeeded in stopping most of the impact, making the cut hardly deep at all. As Warrior landed, he saw Merrill approaching him with a levitating blade, and another in his hand-- This can't be good. Warrior had just enough time to raise his blade to meet Merrill's first strike, making it ineffective. The next strike, aimed at his neck, he ducked under with perfect timing, barely missing it. Another came from the same side as the first, and Warrior managed to do a back flip right over the slash, dodging it by millimeters. His landing, however, through him off, and the rest of the slashes Warrior was forced to block with his wrists, still taking pretty deep cuts to his hands. Luckily, most of the damage sustained healed back rather quickly, but not completely. The fireball shot by Healer had nearly disintegrated from the rain and wind and left nothing more than a few burnt eye lashes and several black spots on Warrior's face, giving him little to no irritation from the blast.
"That was good, you're getting faster. . ."
Warrior continued charging energy in his left palm. . . He didn't wanna seem to let go of that. Warrior took a different approach to attack Merrill this time. Wood Elemental Navi with a Fire Elemental virus? A good combo, but probably not the safest, in Warrior's eyes.
Warrior teleported next to Healer and grabbed it, then teleported again. From above, Warrior tossed Healer, who was still on fire it seemed, down at Merrill. When Healer rebounded back up to Warrior, he dealt a strong downward flip-kick, sending him flying back down at even higher a velocity than before. On the third and final rebound, Warrior dealt a strong downward slash at Healer's body, sending it flying, once more at Merrill, before he landed.
He wasn't done though. Warrior dashed nearly at the speed of light and ended up next to Merrill, and dealt an unbelievable quick slice that seemed to only last for a split second, followed up immediately by the same slash, in the opposite direction. As soon as he finished the second slash, Warrior made a short hop and performed a side flip next to Merrill, making sure that his blade would land first to make a powerful impact with his victim. Warrior made about three short hops back, separating his distance between he and Merrill, and prepared for his retaliation, still charging energy in his left palm. The energy in his palm seemed to glow slightly brighter than before, and if close enough, one could feel plasmatic power radiating from the center of its source-- That scar on his left palm.

Merrill stood as Healer was tossed around. He managed to catch her off Warrior's final slash, and took both of Warriors slashes. He rotated his body ninety degrees to take the final slash in the chest, but didn't make it, and took the blow on his arm. He winced, and turned to face Warrior.
[glow=33CC88,2,300]"Hehe. Very Good. I am impressed. Youve gotten so much stronger than before. However, is it enough? lets find out! ENGARDE!"[/glow] he says, healing the wound to his arm. He continued storing energy into his hand, and he charged forward. He jumps over wariior, Slaming the right MZKeyZoth into his back, bringing the left one into Warriors sword arm. He then jumped up into the air, putting about fifty feet between himself and warrior.
[glow=33CC88,2,300]"Let me show you some real speed my friend!"[/glow]
Merrill dives, vertically, straight at Warriors head. Within a second, Merrill closed the distance, and slammed an MZKeyZoth down, sending a schockwave accross the area. Je rolled, jumped back to his feet, and waited for the dust to clear. As the Dust Cleared, Healer threw fireballs to where Merrill had made the crater.

Warrior felt lightheaded for a moment, and lost focus of what was going on. . . Something inside of him seemed to be throwing off his concentration. When he regained focus, he had just been struck critically in the back by Merrill, and took a serious blow on his sword arm. The wound wasn't too deep-- yet. The blows made Warrior lose focus once again, and made him victim to Merrill's next attack and Healer's fireballs. The fire balls all sank into the wound of his arm. It had no further strength to swing the sword, and wouldn't be repairable until the battle was over. Looks like this all relied on the energy he had been charging up. . . Best not waste it until the perfect opportunity.
As the dust cleared, Warrior stood limp, the fire now extinguishing from his sword arm. He dropped his sword from Merrill's last blow, and it stood there now, stabbed in the ground next to him. It wouldn't do him any good now. Warrior smirked in amazement of Merrill. . . It looks like his own speed could be matched by his friend, and his restorative abilities were off the charts. . . Luckily, Warrior might have been able to outclass him in power, if anything. He didn't need a sword to fight. he still had four limbs-- they would be enough.
" Nice-- You are alot faster than I remember, heh. . . But there's more to my build than just simple agility. . . heheh, strength plays a powerful role in battle as well!"
Warrior was slightly more confident now, knowing that his kicks and punches were far more accurate than any slash or slice he could deal. A melee attack from him was almost a guaranteed hit, though clearly not enough power to delete a navi, especially one with such regenerative powers as Merrill. Hopefully it would be enough to hold him off and give Warrior an open shot for his energy blast. . . It's all he had, now.
Warrior nearly teleported next to Merrill, he dashed so fast. He ignored Healer at this point-- she couldn't do more than give him a few burns, which the rain helped douse anyway. Catching Merrill off-guard, Warrior dealt an upward side-kick to his chest, sending him a couple feet into the air. While still ascending, Warrior jumped up to meet him in the air and dealt two more upward aerial kicks, each sending him higher as well. At the peak of their ascent, Warrior dealt a downward meteor kick to the top of Merrill's skull, sending him crashing into the ground, much like he had done to Healer just moments earlier.
While Merrill would still be recovering from those minor blows, Warrior took a great leap up into the clouds. Combining his agility, strength, and speed, he made it into the clouds in no time, even when unable to fly. He did, however, have the ability to do a mid-air dash or a mid-air jump, which proved useful in this situation. Using this ability, Warrior dashed in a large circle, gathering together the clouds and forming a weak tornado. At the base of the tornado was Warrior's sword, spinning along the ground. The tornado had no suction power, but the purpose for summoning it was obvious-- to slice with Warrior's sword without him having to hold it himself.
The tornado picked up the sword and kept it at body height, spinning it in a slashing motion toward Healer and Merrill, approaching them at a threateningly higher speed than one would expect. Warrior landing back in his crater, and continued charging his plasmatic energy while Merrill was kept busy. The orb of energy in his hand began emitting a semi-bright white light now, and seemed to cause pain for Warrior to hold it. . . It was getting to powerful to bear, now, and it took all of his own restorative abilities to stop it from 'eating him alive', as it fed off of his life energy. It was almost enough to delete a navi in a single hit, but not quite, yet. . .

Merrill was astonished that Warrior had survived his blows. He was however, happy, that he could actually connect attacks with Warrior at that speed, and he knew he couldn't kee up that speed for long. He had only a little bit of energy to store for that kind of speed again, and it could be his last trump. As Warrior attacked with even greater speed, Merrill couldn't keep up. each blow hit him, until the meteor kick. Merrill managed to rotate his body, ever so slightly, to avoid getting hit in the head, and he took it directly over the heart. The effect of the blow was immediate, as Merrill slammed into the ground, coughing blood up. His crystal dimmed for a few moments, and he almost lost control of the energy he was storing. As Warrior used the tornado to attack with his sword, Merrill wasn't fast enough, but Healer was. She jumped into the path of the blade, taking the attack for Merrill.
[glow=33CC88,2,300]"NO!"[/glow] Merrill screamed. Healer flew several feet back, landing face-up. Merrill managed to stand up, letting energy restore some of his wounds. The meteor kick had an effect though, preventing Merrill from fully healing that wound at the time. He walked over to Healer, picked her up, and using his right hand, which was not storing energy, he transfered some energy into her. He then set her back onto the ground.
[glow=33CC88,2,300]"I gotta be careful so I don't blow myself up."[/glow] he muttered to himself, as he prepared his next assult.
Mererill turned to face Warrior. His eyes stared at his friend and opponent briefly, before he flew vertically up wards. His speed, although slowed because of the beating his body took was still quick enough to reach the sky, and break the clouds into the sun. He hovered there, storing energy for a few moments, letting the sun shine light over his body. using the sun's energy, he managed to heal most of his injuries, making the meteor kick to his chest lessen in pain, to a dull throb.
[glow=33CC88,2,300]"Indeed strength plays a part my friend, but let me ask, where does your strength come from? How much strength do you truely have? Now, SHOW ME YOUR TRUE STRENGTH!"[/glow] he shouted from above Warrior.
Merrill then dived. He broke through the clouds, entering the raining battlefield again. He was moving faster and faster, gaining speed. He then flipped his body at the last second, and brought his foot down, imitating Warrior, except his purposely hit the ground in front of him. The small shockwave made the ground in front of warrior unstable momentarily, and Merrill spun and kicked Warrior, aiming for his chest. Merrill then flipped upside down, slamming his palms on the ground, MZKeyZoth in right hand, the left on the ground when he landed previously, and kicked again. Merrill then jumped behind Warrior, landing on one foot, pivoting, and sticking the other at Warrior's back. For his last maneuver, he jumped, doing a flip, and has he crossed in front of Warrior, he slashed the MZKeyZoth upside down, at Warrior's visor. He then jumped and hovered to Healer's side a few yards away, waiting to see how his friend had fared against his onslaught.

" Agh!!"
Warrior grunted as each attack hit him. The kicks were quick, but Warrior was barely faster. He wasn't swift enough to dodge each one, but instead, each kick slightly missed its intended target and hit a little to the left or the right than Merrill had aimed, making the damage a little less severe-- but it was severe none-the-less. The slash split Warrior's visors in half near the middle. He'd have to end this soon, or there'd be nothing left of him after this fight.
His dominant hand had slightly healed, but the muscles were still torn to deep to hold his heavy-ish blade. Luckily, Warrior noticed a witty alternative.
As Merrill landed several yards ahead of him, Warrior knelt down to pick up the visors that were split in two-- one in each hand. He held them so that the abnormally long spiky ends were pointing away from his palm, almost like daggers. Seems like he didn't where freakishly ugly visors for no reason after all, huh? He as still able to charge energy in his left palm, even with the "wanna-be-daggers" in hands. His right hand hurt to hold them, but the pain was minor enough for him to take.
Atlast. . . Warrior found a weapon that was as accurate and swift as his melee strikes, yet as powerful and sharp as his sword.
" The end is near. . . Don't hold back-- continue giving me everything you got!"
This was it-- the set-up for his final hit; an energy blast. The success of these next few hits would utterly determine how severe Warrior's final blow would connect. No chance for mistakes if he ever hoped of finishing this battle. With daggers in hand, he rushed next to Merrill and Healer, holding his breathe for what was to come. That breathe would be his last of this fight-- win or lose.
Adjacent to the both of them, Warrior grabbed Healer and threw it to the side. No need for distractions right now, and Healer would undoubtedly be swept away from the energy blast. The only purpose of the coming assault was to weaken Merrill down enough that he wouldn't survive either. With Healer out of the way, Warrior turned back to Merrill and kicked the MZKeyZoth out of his right hand, leaving his friend weapon-less. Perhaps now he understood Warrior's recent situation.
Time for the onslaught. Warrior sliced violently quick at Merrill with those wannabedagger visors, first diagonally up with his left hand, then across the neck with his right, and finishing the first set with a spin kick to the throat with his left leg. Not done yet. Warrior's last kick sent Merrill flying back a few yards, so he dashed infront of him to keeps the hits coming before his collision with the ground.
As Merrill flew his way, Warrior did a backflip-kick to send him up in the air, face first. Warrior jumped up to meet him, then stabbed both "daggers" into his stomach, and spin-kicked him hard enough for him to fly back and land near Healer. Warrior expected a fireball form the thing anytime now, and was ready to brace himself whenever it shot. He dashed over to Merrill's battered form, now laying on the ground face up, and knelt over him so that he couldn't move. The energy charging in his left palm seemed to dense that it literally began to slowly tear away the source of its charge and absorb Warrior's life. Need to hurry. While over Merrill's body, Warrior took out the "daggers" that were stuck in him, and starting a flurry of stabs at him, countless stabs, each quicker than the blin of an eye-- quicker than a flash of lightning, yet making nearly no noise under the pouring rain. In the end, Warrior stabbed the "daggers" back into his friend, one in each shoulder.
Done with the daggers, Warrior stood back to his feet and backed up a few yards, ready to let off his energy blast, and made sure it would cover both Merrill AND Healer. He held up his left palm which seemed to be detiriating, and aimed the blast at both of them. . . he hadn't released the energy yet, but it had to be soon. . . Wonder how Merrill's energy charging had come along, after this assault?

[glow=33CC88,2,300]"Crap!"[/glow]
Merrill grinned as Warrior grabbed his would-be-daggers. Merrill couldn't help but smile and chuckle, before realizing Warrior was serious. He had to hand it to his friend- That was very inventive!
As Warrior attacked, tossing Healer out of the way, and his initial kick lading right on the money. The MZKeyZoth hurled from his hand, leaving him not only weaponless, but defenseless as well. As Warrior aimed his first stab, it caught Merrill right in the shoulder. Merrill leaned back from the second blow, and the visor clipped a peace of hair, missing the neck by a hair's breath. However, the third hit landed perfectly, smashing into Merrill's windpipe, forcing him to near breathlessness. The fourth attack sent Merrill reeling, leaving him wide open to be slammed up wards. As the daggers pierced his body, Merrill let out a small cry of pain, using the last of his breath. As Merrill landed, he became defenseless, as each stab drew more and more of his power and focus. As Warrior made his final stabs, Merrill felt both arms go limp, and almost let loose his stored energy, which would have killed him. As Warrior jumped back and stood, Healer had come to Merrill's aide, healing his stomach wounds a bit.
Laying on the ground, Merrill felt his blood pouring out of the side of his mouth. He had blood running down his arms and stomach, mixed with rain. He smiled however, and managed to mutter a remark.
[glow=33CC88,2,300]"Hehe...Inventive. Gotta hand it.... to ya Warrior..... you aren't given enough credit.... for your head.... However.... I'm...Not quite... done....."[/glow] he said coughing at the end. He managed to sit up, and with his mouth, bit and pulled one of the two would-be-daggers. Healer pulled the other out, healing the wound enough for Merrill to regain slight function of his arm. Healer quickly healed the other arm, and Merrill stood. His legs wobbled, but he still had some fight left in him. Merrill used some of his stored energy to heal himself, but he still charged more energy, and his crystal started to glow.
[glow=33CC88,2,300]"This fight isn't over yet! The end maybe near, but this match is far from over!"[/glow] he said Jumping, levitating in the air.
Merrill shut his eyes, concentrating. As he did so, Healer threw fire, creating a smokescreen. Merrill, re-summoned an MZKeyZoth, and was preparing a strike. Then, the blade flew directly at Warrior, aiming for his heart. As the blade a smokescreen tick was happening, Merrill summoned up the watter around him, holding gallons and gallons swirling around his body. the bright blue water started glowing, and emitted light. He opened his eyes, and with his non-charging hand, dropped to the ground and slammed his hand to the earth, causing the water to slam down upon Warrior, attempting to flatten him. As the Smoke disappeared from Merrill's "Radiant Rain" attack, Merrill smiled, and fired two leaves at Warrior, followed by a vine from beneath Warrior. Merrill then started glowing himself, his crystal glowing very bright, as he created a diamond shaped barrier-like force around him. He knew the barrier wasn't going to protect him, it was merely show, as his power came to fruition. However, he put enough energy to stop one attack, and then waited, charging energy what could be the last time.
Suddenly, attempting to give Merrill a few extra seconds, Healer appeared behind Warrior, and unknowing attempted to jump on his back, slapping one decent fireball into the back of his head. Healer then tried to hold on, by gripping her arms around Warrior's neck.

Warrior grinned at Merrill's compliment, but made sure not to lose focus here. Just as he was about to let out that blast, the smoke screen came up. . . Too late to fire now, or he'd risk missing. The energy in his left palm continued tearing away that hand, almost down to the wrist now.
" can't miss. . . "
Suddenly, a blade came from the smoke, caching Warrior off guard and stabbing him through the chest. . . piercing through his body, and puncturing his heart. . . This fight was over-- he fell to the ground, lifeless, before Merrill's following attacks. His pulse went slower and slower, fading away to nothing as he lay there. . .
But wait. . . something happened. . . Just before his pulse stopped, his eyes shot wide open and went from gold to solid red in just a matter of seconds, his heart beat sped up rapidly, and the bright energy he had been charging engulfed his entire left arm now. Perhaps this wasn't over yet. . . A being seemed to be possessing Warrior-- controlling his body for him while he himself was actually unconscious during this.
The energy in his body seemed suddenly renewed. As the water was falling toward his, Warrior simply lifted the arm that was charging energy to 'block' it. The energy was so hot and dense that the water literally disintegrated before if even touched Warrior. . . His body wasn't holding up too well anymore, though, since the energy started eating it away as well. The evaporated water now form a mist-screen around Warrior, rivaling the smokescreen Merrill was covered in. Both leaves came but Warrior easily dodged them. The vine almost grabbed both of his feet, but only managed to entangle one since Warrior moved the other out of the way just in time. The mist-screen already left from covering him, giving Healer an open shot at Warrior.
The fire ball hit his head hard, and ignited his entire body-- setting the vine on fire and untangling his foot. Healer went to jump on Warrior back, but Warrior managed to foresee this action in just enough time to take a small step forward. The step wasn't intended to avoid Healer's jump-- rather, its intention was to make Healer land where it didn't want too; on the sword that was sticking out of Warrior's back. After the virus was impaled, Warrior dislodged the sword from his chest and grabbed the injured virus from behind him, tossing it at Merrill. It was no that Warrior noticed the barrier around Merrill.. .. .. Or rather, the being that was possessing him noticed it.
Warrior took the blade in his hand and hurled it at Merrill. The blade spun so fast that it was nearly transparent as it whistled across the field to connect with Merrill. Warrior's entire body had nearly been eaten away from the energy stored in his left palm, which now had engulfed the entire left arm. Time to release it-- now or never.
Warrior held his hand toward Merrill, and prepared to let off the blast. The area dimmed and became deathly silent. The only light was that which was emitted from the glow of the energy, the only sound was the crackles and pops that it let off. Then, all at once, the energy shot off of Warrior's hand, revealing only a frame on Warrior's body that was covered by the energy-- almost like a skeleton was left of that arm, just a more digitally version. The blast spread out and grew immensely in size, easily covering both Healer and Merrill, as well as roughly 20yds to either side of them. It was coming to quick for a dodge, and was far too powerful to block with a shield. . . Only another blast of similar intensity could either throw it off course or nullify its power completely.
As the blast drew closer, every rain drop that fell over it became charged and added t the intensity of the blast, and ever centimeter of land that it passed was withered away, leaving only ashes in its trail. That blast grew closer and closer to the two of them, eating away everything in its path. . . Little hope could save them now. . .
Warrior body was nearly totaled. He simply stood there, completely exhausted and in his own mind again, watching if the blast could connect or not. His damaged body was beyond self-repair, and the slightest gust of wind could rip apart his half-living form. He couldn't log out though . . . not yet. He needed to see how his friend could handle his final attempt. [/i]
" Don't. . .disappoint me. . ."[/color]

Merrill was shocked at what he saw. First, a water screen, completely obstructing his view of Warrior. Second, his own MZKeyZoth came back hurling right at himself! As he had hoped, his barrier took the attack and shattered, but the blade still came, and it caught Merrill in the neck, and he fell back wards. the blow was severely weakened, but it still hurt like heck. Merrill rolled over, and made it to his knees. Watich Warrior being possessed, and his sudden power surge, had worried Merrill. Not only did Warrior effectively retaliate, he was just as strong as if he was fresh to start!
Then Merrill noticed Healer, She was lying a few feet away, curled in a ball. She was barely conscious. Merrill crawled over, and tried to stand. He looked down at himself. He was a bloody mess, armor ripped in places, clothes beneath were torn, blood all over.. His knees wobbled, and he faced Warrior.
[glow=33CC88,2,300]""This is it... Its now.... or never.. I don't... have much... strength left...[/glow]
As He prepared his strike, he noticed Warrior preparing his own. Merrill snarled, and withdrew as much energy as possible. His crystal on his forehead shined bright, and his wings started glowing. He pushed his hand to the sky, forcing all of his energy into his hand. As Warrior pushed his hand forward to attack, Merrill shouted.
[glow=33CC88,2,300]"So, it comes... down to.. this... This is... the end... Good show.... but is it... good enough?.... THIS ENDS NOW!!!! MEZURí Aí Kí!!!!!"[/glow] he screamed the final two sentences. Then, a beam of lighting crossed the sky, lighting it up, as Warriors attack emerged. He then focused all his power into his hand. He thrust it forward, and released all of its power. Merrill felt his energy fade instantly. He felt weak. He managed to fall to a knee, while maintain the output. Then, right before the two blasts collided, Merrill swore he heard a female voice, like an angel's. The two blasts collided, then there was a ringing in Merrill's ears as the light engulfed him and Healer. Everything then went white....

After the blinding white light, everything faded back into vision. . . The storm had finally ended, and Warrior felt too light-headed to notice what was going on around him, or where he was. He tried to move, but his body was just too battered. He just couldn't get himself to budge. He slipped down to his knees, still looking for Merrill. A dense cloud of smoke remained between the two-- where the blasts had collided. It wasn't going to clear up any time soon-- atleast not before Warrior body disintegrated away. Slowly but surely, he was fading away from existence-- away like smoke his body was disappearing.
He was too weak to wait for the dust to clear to see if Merrill survived-- too weak to call out Merrill's name. Everything in Warrior's vision began to close in around him, it seemed, until he could only see just about a foot or two around him-- the rest, darkness. The darkness slowly crept in closer as Warrior's consciousness was fading away. He fell to his face. Just before the darkness completely engulfed him, he lost consciousness and logged out.
A draw. Another draw. Maybe one day, the two could set the record for which of them were truly stronger. But until then. . . They were equals. Warrior's whisper escaped his thoughts and carried itself through the wind into Merrill's ears, had he still been there.
" Until next time. . ."
Guess you could call it a "Warrior-compliment" with the equivalence of "good-job". But indeed-- until next time, they were equals.. .. .. But perhaps Merrill was just slighter stronger than Warrior? That ll depended on how he handled that final blow. . .[/i]
((OOC: Do we have a judge? If not, rewards are 30/300 for the both of us. Good fight ^_^ ))

Long and short, B Ranks for both with it being a draw; +40/+400 for both.
And seeing as how this fight was finished; +5/+50.
Furthermore, seeing as how this fight was finished 3 months after it started (lol, I forgot about it myself) I'm throwing in an additional +20/+200. (Please note, this is not an excuse to make fights take longer. I'm sure we're all used to fights not being finished because they lag out. It makes me happy to know that yall are keeping up with them even somewhat :D)
PS: If you want me to type out the critiques and breakdowns for points, PM me. I'll make a list :)
